The air distorts and a trembling sound could be heard as a man in dark cloths dawning a skull mask apeard next to Nathanial. As he was standing there as clear as day yet he displayed no obvious presence almost like a ghost in a room. He softly spoke in a somber voice "spell casting,weapons training,and unarmed combat training". Then the trembling distortion could be heard and he was gone, but not a single drop of mana could be felt as he entered and left leaving nothing behind.

Violet's eyes widened as she sees the guy disappearing near the pair of kids. She was sure she imagined it, but as she thought about it, she wouldn't be surprised. This academy was probably going to be full of surprises. "Dang," she murmured under her breath and looked around confusedly for something to tell her which dorm she was in.

"You saw that to huh?" He commented to violet and let go of Andrea and rolling his shoulders. "By the way, its not allocated dorms, its first come first serve." he informed violet and shook his head. "He didn't use mana, it feels more like Ki or some other form of energy. anyway, I'm heading for dorm 204 if any of you would like to claim the other bed." he informed the two of them, well aware that it was a 3 person dorm, he'd read ahead. energy starting to cascade of his body again as he made ready to head out. starting to run he took two steps before flashing in to energy, passing straight through the ceiling. He loved using his powers to do things other than fight, moving round, moving things, playing games. He laughed as he re-formed in the dorm, door still locked, energy cascading off him again as his form reformed itself from lightning. lobbing his bag on to one of the beds he pulled the book off his hip and slumped on to the chair starting to read.

Floating in the farest corner in room 402 silently meditating. the only though that crossed his mind was this guy will this place alot more interesting.

Violet was about to respond when he suddenly floated up through the ceiling. She sighed and looked toward the girl, Andrea as she overheard earlier. She takes a deep breath and asks in a straight tone of voice, "Hey. I'm Violet. Seeing that they probably won't allow boys to room with girls and he asked us both... would you like to room with me?"

Andrea turned towards Violet, her feet still tingling from the lightning.

"Sure," Andrea said, slipping into informal language. Andrea looked Violet up and down. The thief's fingers almost twitched in anticipation.

Violet smiled and drew out a knife, twirling it between her fingers. "Great! You can choose the room. I really don't care. As long as it has a window." Violet nods to her. "If that's okay." She searches Andrea's face.

A bell rings through the campus signally the kids to their first class. Above the campus three teachers watch the teens interact. "This will be an interesting year. How will so many different groups get alone. Who will bond with who." Katherin asked as she turned to go in. "Will they be ready for the first adventure?"

not wanting to miss out on seeing what the rest of the students do dao flashed his way over to his first class as fast as posible. once there he found a nice dark corner to lurk in, manipulating the ambient light in the area he made his new found corner darker as he waited in anticipation for the rest of the class.

Alexander grinned, Gym first keeping his battle plate on he snapped the book to his hip and cracked his shoulders "Storm rage, wind blow, Lightning Carry me" He said and this time rather than turning in to lightning the air crackled and started to form a high energy platform, Jumping aboard it he grinned and used it to get to the area they'd be in, Starting outside, that was a interesting way of doing things. not that he minded, Access to the open sky meant he could do much more than just use his own lightning.

Violet hurried down to Gym class. She didn't want to be late like she was this morning. She looked back over her shoulder at Andrea. They would have to figure out the room situation later. She sheathed her knife as she ran into the gym and leaned against the nearest wall.

"Welcome to gym. I am sure most of you have done some mingling and introduced yourselves." Griffin greeted them in the gym. "Each teacher will take a turn teaching gym. Today I need to see what your each capable of doing so that we can see what areas we need to work on. Try not to use your powers. It will make things harder to gage. Now today we have set up a bit of an obstacle course which consists of the quintuple steps, hurdle jump, spinning log, balance bridge, jump hang, warped wall, salmon ladder, wall lift, pipe slider, and the spider wall."

Andrea opened her mouth to respond to Violet, but she suddenly took off towards gym.

"As long as it has curtains I'm okay with windows!" Andrea yelled down towards Violet, unwilling and unwanting to run. Should she run, it is likely her dress with rip. Sure, she didn't give a damn, but even thieves need to keep up appearances.

Andrea settled for a brisk walk towards gym.

She walked in just as a teacher- Griffin, was it?- was listing out the obstacle course.

Andrea let out a huff. When did thieves like herself need to get through a spider wall? Sure, rogues needed to be fast and agile on their feet, maybe capable of jumping a few roof tops, but not extensive bull like this.

Griffin studied him Alexander thoughtfully. He wondered if the boy knew that he could feel the electricity that he was creating. If he knew anything about werekin he would. He decided to see what the boy could do. "Why don't you start Alexander. Show the class what you can do."

Violet looked with interest at the obstacle course. She was excited to try it, but then the teacher calls out the guy she had been talking to earlier, the guy that told her about the dorms, Alexander. She grins and leans back, watching him with interest. Oh, this should be great fun to see how he does.

"Ok then, Question, Why can't I just Phase-Step to the end? Its not like I'll ever encounter lightning proof box." He asked and then grinned taking a few steps he laughed and started running, the steps came first bouncing lazily from point to point, no need for energy use on this one, it was the same as dancing through an opponents blades in a fight. if the ground had been uneven then it'd have been more fun. Hurdle jump after that spring loaded jumps, it wasn't like this was anything new, He energized his own steps to produce larger jumps often enough, the only difference was angle, He stumbled a little after the last one but kept his footing. Then came the log, this was a good use for his powers. Jumping forward he slammed his palm in to it, using the momentum to grab hold on the other side, his feet matching his hands, though a moment or two behind, the static electricity holding him in place as it rolled down. letting go at the other end he bounded upright, still grinning. Balance bridge after that, bounding across it there wasn't much his powers could do to help him, He made it but rather ungracefully, landing on his ass at the end he was still laughing as he stood up and stretched. Jump hang after that was easy, bounding off the trampoline he grabbed hold of the net his energized hands holding on to it with ease as he scrambled up and over, rolling down the other side of it. The warped wall didn't prove much of a challenge ether though it wasn't as graceful as it could have been, scrambling up it on all fours and grabbing the edge to haul himself up, he was still grinning but it was obvious that this was putting strain on his body, the constant physical exertion combined with magic use. The salmon ladder was more intresting, he could use his power to stop it when he wanted, but picking up motion again was hard. he did it but not with any speed or grace, nor without a few good swear words being thrown in there for good measure. Reaching the Wall lift Alexander stopped and sat down, it was unclear if he'd given up or otherwise. he was sat there for a good minute or so before he stood again, "I hope you don't mind me catching my breath?" He asked as if the answer mattered now that he'd already done it. Grabbing each wall he hauled it upwards, getting it up was the hard part, once it was up he could get it to stay put until he let go with his powers. Reaching the pipe slide he tapped his chin and yawned. "Board now." He announced and bounced off the track and bowed, clearly done with the exercise bowing to the teacher and the rest of the class he went back over to his blade and picked it up. "I hope that's enough"
