Biography: Charles was born to an old-blood mage family, able to trace it's limeage back to the age of the gods. They were protectors of the druid circles, helpers of the fairies, guardians of the realm. But their were also those in tne family who sought to cause nothing but destruction and chaos Thus the family was long split in two,one side for the light and the other for the darkness, until the unifying marriage of Charles' parents ceased hostilites. At least on the surface anyway. As the only heir,as well as wielding both families affinities, he was given both of their magic crests. Soon after he was born, however, it was obvious he was not a regular child. Only a couple weeks after his birth, he was already moving around like a toddler, walking when he was 1 year old. As he grew, he only seemed to get stronger and fitter, no matter what he did, or didn't do. He excelled in his magic, as it seemed to come as natural as breathing to him, and his temper was always calm and collected. and bored. Since nothing seemed to be a real challenge, then nothing really interested him. It wasn't until he joined the Mages Association, that he found something that excited him. Real combat, where there was no holding back, where skill wasn't the only deciding factor that mattered. Later on he picked up photography as his main hobby, but real combat still gives a special thrill that nothing else ever could. His wish for the Grail is rather selfless for a mage, as he for the conflict in his family to end, once and for all, as even with his parents marriage, the two branches are still at each others throats.

He possesses the Origin ability, Vibration, which allows him cause anything he coats in his prana to vibrate, the more prana he supplies, the stronger the Vibration. Can be used to increase damage done by a weapon, as well as make tremors in the terrain that can rank up to localized earthquakes. Can also be applied by him pushing his Prana into the air around him, if an enemy happens to be inside the area of influence, they will have every particle of their existence violently vibrated, causing internal damage. Can also disintergrate part of their bodies via over exposure or extreme levels of vibration.
Elemental Magecraft:
His darkness affinity allows him to blend into shadows, as well as creep into the minds of people by taking advantage of their worst fears and nightmares. Darkness based magecraft mainly used to help him escape from dangerous situations by temporarily crippling the enemy with fear, hallucinations, or other such things, or for slowly chipping away at the sanity of other mages that he fights numerous times. Also keeps him protected from magical intrusion of his mental facilities.
Light is his main combat affinity, he can make constructs out of it through the use of specialized runestones, pouring prana into a set of such stones forming into items and familiars that bear the mark of divinity.He can form them into anything he can imagine, though he chooses to focus on different types of weapons, and animalistic familiars to asset him in on the frontline. He can also form things without runestones, but they are less durable and consume more mana.
He bears many difference types of spells in his Magic Crest, one on each arm for Light and Darkness. Light spells focus on Reinforcement and Enhancement, while Darkness is more offensive, attacking the opponents mind as well as disrupting their Magic Circuits with the more powerful attacks.
He possess natural breathing and walking techniques, as well as Rank B- natural body, which suits him as a more frontline mage. Combined with his other abilities, he can even go head to head with a servant, as long as he's wearing his light armor, which reinforces his body.
Mystic Codes: He bears 3 Mystic Codes, a western longsword which enhances his Origin ability, as well as can be coated in Light or Darkness to give it added affects. Light=Enhances damage and range. Darkness=Corruption of the mind and body. His other one is a shield that works more into his affinities. By pushing Light into it, it takes the shape of a large shield, and has superb defense capabilities against both magic and physical attacks. By overcharging t, one can blind the enemy for a short amount of time, allowing for a quick decisive strike. Darkness is more offensive, as the shield is smaller, but has several tendrils that can attack those who get close. Finally, he bears a cross pendant which serves for Prana storage, he currently holds about a Rank B+ amount of Prana in it.
Equipment: Normally wears casual clothes, A switchblade, Cigarettes, a book of some kind, and a camera. Bears a sizeable amount of money due to his family, but hardly touches it unless he needs it. Throwing knives, in case the switchblade doesn't cut it.
Non-Magecraft Related Skills: Very exceptional skills in sword and shield fighting, as well as hand to hand, moderate skill in archery. Rather adept at pickpocketing, his favorite hobby. Very good at cooking with cheap ingredients, He is an olympic gold napper, able to sleep through anything, unless it threatens his life. In such cases he is able to wake up instantly to avoid the threat with hardly any drowsiness whatsoever. A very good photographer, as it is his passion.
