"Hello and welcome. Your lucky you know that? I mean you just got the offer of a life time! See were the Fortune Hunters, sky pirates based on the zeppelin Pandora and you well you've been invited to join the crew. But first the Captain asks you agree to his code of conduct, everyone aboard the ship signs the same paper, no matter the job. So here you are the Articles of Piracy written by Jacob North our captain and ace pilot. Sign your name by the rest of the crews and we can start!"



So as you read above this Roleplay is about sky pirates seeking there fortune, however this all takes place in a alternate time 1930's America where rather than cars and trains planes and zeppelins became the transport of the populace. Also it does take place in North America however in a very different kinda of America one where the country split into city-states each independent and trying to gain control of the other. You are member of the Fortune Hunters a group of daring and reckless Sky Pirates who live by a set of rules unlike the others, I have what I have set to be the limit for this Roleplay at twelve people, we don't need that many but I will close it once it's full, as I cannot handle more than that.

Rules and Regulations
1. Be polite, well in OOC at least jerks are welcome among pirates... Just beware the Captain has pushed people of the bottom of the Zeppelin before... With parachutes.
2. Planes are not super sonic and many trade off speed for more weapons and armor, or speed for maneuverability some planes have good balance but will not excel in any area upgrades can change that however.
3. All crew members have private rooms and share a dining area.
4. Romance is allowed but keep it PG-13 you can kiss and such but fade to black if it gets worse.
5. Enemy planes can be shot down by you however remember unlike us they are trained to fight in squadrons, yes that does make them predictable but it also means that they will work together. So try to be clever and pick off ones that chase your wing men, also if most of the time pilots will bail out, we do not shoot at those parachuting to safety.
6. Have fun and fly high.



That's a map of North America as it stands in this timeline, you can be from any of the above countries or perhaps a character from Europe having immigrated here after the Great War? The choice is yours. However the planes listed below are your choices of aircraft there are more available in the link, just note I do not allow the Gyro-copters as they have no weapons and yes some aircraft do allow for co-pilots or gunners as needed they maybe be PCs or NPC's.

Appearance: Miranda stands at 5'6", with black hair, lightly tan, and brown eyes. Her hair is almost always tied up in a messy bun, as not to get caught on machinery. Her face shows her mixed heritage, with an even blend of native american and german traits. Miranda is rather muscular, built like a brick from her time dealing with heavy machinery and tools.
Plane: Voss 157 Krieg Kraut, a gift from her father after his death. The plane is dark Prussian blue, with german writing saying "Gott wird alle in Ordnung bringen" written on both sides.
Weapons: Carries a Luger Pistol and a large combat knife. Otherwise, she's more than capable of making use of her tools as weapons when she needs.
Personality: Cold and Stoic, Miranda has mental barriers that are very difficult to get past. She would rather focus on tending to her work than mingle with others needlessly. However, she is not heartless, and will help when needed. If you get on her good side, she may open up. Miranda is protective of those she takes a liking to, and will not hesitate to help them. She values efficiency over anything else, and expects nothing short of the best from her fellow mechanics.
Background: Miranda was born to a Menominee mother and a German immigrant father. They lived in a small industrial town in the Industrial States of America called Green Bay. Having spent most of her time with her father, Miranda learned to speak German, and also gained first hand experience for most of her life on the workings of machines and more importantly, planes. After her father's death, Miranda longed to get back into the world of mechanics. She bode farewell to her mother and flew south, working in first Mexico, and then in Texas. Texas had little to offer and after a quick return to Mexico, Miranda became bored with commercial engineering, and sought something more exciting.

I want to join this really bad, but as a native Atlantan I can't abide by Atlanta being a part of the new confederacy. Atlanta has enough people and financial resources to remain an independent City-state if the US ever balkanized.

True it does (honestly I feel the same about North Carolina) but this is all taking place in the thirties with the spirit of the south and its dislike of the north still a lot of older people still remember the civil war so it's unsuprising that they would band together in the times of hardship leading up to the split of the states.

Appearance:Marie is, in a word, stunning. She possesses a great classically beautiful face highlighted by green eyes that forever seem to have a cool distant, almost enigmatic look. She keeps her brown- auburn hair long, shiny, and often carefully curled or intricately braided. She is 5’7” tall, enough height to be attractive…not so much as to be considered too tall. Her figure is very generous, with curves and features she works very hard to maintain. She is obsessive in this regard. Her appearance and bearing are her livelihood, or at least they are a very major part of it, and she takes very good care of herself.

Plane: Raven is her preferred plan however she can pilot a large variety of aircraft if pressed to do so. She is a competent pilot in a variety of aircraft but not exceptional at any. She has no personal aircraft.

Weapons: None. She can shoot a revolver and use a knife in self defense but she has no great skill with any.

Personality: Marie is cold, calm, and collected. Her attitude is always aloof and reserved. This is pretty much just a shell, an act. It is simply easier if she keeps emotion out of her business. It helps that most of her work is within members of the upper class, the wealthiest of wealthy. They view her withdrawn and aloof manner as good breeding, expected really. She has cultivated her skills in this manner; the result is a very regal bearing, perfect speech, and in general the absolute image of the perfect socialite. She dares not let her true self near the surface of her personality because of her particular line of work. Distance keeps her safe and it spills over into all her relationships, not just working ones. It takes a unique person to get past the walls to keep her safe. She is very polite, proper, and the perfect lady. The less she likes you the colder and more polite she is. If you get to know her she remains reserved, but she has a dry sense of humor, loves to spend time away from people, loves to study history and literature, and at heart she is a hopeless romantic but she would die of embarrassment if anyone knew it.

Background: Marie was born in French Louisiana, right in the heart of new Orleans. Her mother was a worker at a bar, her father the owner. At least that is what she was always told as he father died before she was two years old. Her mother didn’t make near enough money to support them both while working at the bar, and therefore turned to less savory occupations on the side. She did whatever she could to make some extra money. Taking in washing, thieving, even turning tricks when she had to. It was hard to make enough to keep both her and her daughter fed and cared for; and because she had to be gone so much Marie was mostly raised by neighbors, mainly a voodoo priestess (so she claimed) named Belle. Belle had a very strong interest in proper grooming, fashion, and many of the other details that come with high society. She passed on that interest to Marie.

Marie grew up studying the proper behavior, clothing, and attitudes one must display among the quality. She privately thought Belle probably had once been a part of such society, but had suffered some setback such as a ruined reputation or similar. But Marie wasn’t one to judge such things. As Marie grew older she discovered that such behavior made things easier, people made assumptions about you. And that made life much easier. She soon began supplementing her mother’s income with her own, though she never revealed how she acquired it.

Thieving came naturally to her, and with her own classy bearing and demeanor it was easy enough to ingratiate herself with assorted wealthy peoples. The first time she worked as a high quality whore she had been a virgin, and charged the man for the privilege. That experience had showed her how vulnerable men were when engaged in such activities. It was her biggest haul to date, and she thought it was wise to cultivate such skills. And she went to work getting proper schooling in such arts, which was no mean feat when it came down to it.

Her mother passed away when she was seventeen. From that time on she was on her own, and she took what few valuables she had and decided it was time to leave. She moved regularly, mainly to keep ahead of any lawmen who might be on her tail. She often found herself attached to very wealth men, and occasionally a few women, whom she worked for then tended to rob blind, steal their plane, hawk it, and move on. Most of the time no one ever pegged her; generally those who hired her didn’t want it bandied about that they had purchased the services of a courtesan.

And she didn’t always rob her mark blind, sometimes just a little, and sometimes not at all. It depended on whether she was ready to move onward. Some places she stayed for a long time, enjoying the delights of the cities. Others she could hardly wait to leave. She was a decent pilot, her strength was a great familiarity with a variety of aircraft. One never knew just what sort of private plane her mark had, she was very adaptable though and could pilot whatever the situation threw at her, as much as she needed to anyway

Skills: Marie speaks English, French, and Cajun extremely fluently. Her bearing and deportment is what one would expect from the highest of class. She has a very regal bearing and persuasive manner. She is stunningly beautiful and adept at using that beauty to get what she wants. She is a very skilled prostitute and an excellent thief but has no experience with any sort of combat. Having never been tested in the stress of combat it is unsure how she will react. An average pilot she can fly a variety of planes as long as the situation does not involve combat. She can, if forced to, dredge up her life as a poor folk of N'awlins and fit herself into that role (appearance, speech, attitude, etc), but she loathes doing so, it is strictly an emergency measure.

Thanks and I would love a Wash style pilot, Firefly is one my favorite shows, but I love crimson skies because it was the first game I ever played on my old windows 98 computer with a joystick. It's a campy and funny just like Firefly.
