So far, the sounds of a gunfight had only served to alert others nearby intruders as well, so now four of the silverclad were holed up at the end of the hallway, firing as soon as they saw any of Gunnos’ allies even peek around a corner. There was little they could do to return fire within these tight quarters, let alone advance their position. While the others were feebly attempting to blindfire from their cover, Gunnos looked around in search of a better solution. If only this was a Korrvain ship, they’d be clad in proper heavy armour and being cornered like this wouldn’t be so much of a problem.

But wait, that was the answer! Gunnos’ eyes fell on a supply cabinet in the corner of the room. He opened it to find canisters of AVS and other engineering supplies piled up inside, easily accessible to any engineers on duty down here. The contents weren’t what mattered to him though. The cabinet was made of plasteel, built to withstand all kinds of turbulence and impact force to keep the valuable goods inside safe, and the single door was large enough to conceal a person. “Hey big guy!” Gunnos yelled to the Blumn. “Come gimme a hand!”

Greet withdrew from combat and came to his side. “What’re we doing?”

“Protection.” Gunnos replied, knocking his fist against the cabinet doors. Greet caught his drift quickly, and with their combined strength they took hold of the door and broke it loose from its hinges. They had some sort of mobile cover now, though exceptional it was not. Common plasteel was tough stuff, but it couldn’t withstand focus fire from four people, not by a long shot. They would need some sort of distraction to go along with it in order to get them to the other side of the hallway.

That’s where Daniel came in. His voice came up like a gift from Chahara Vee, and though Gunnos didn’t initially know his plan, he knew they had to make it count. “To me!” he called to the other two, as he positioned himself around the corner, plasteel door in hand. “We gotta be quick. Upon me mark, I’m goin' in with me cover. You guys follow close behind me.” Barely had he finished explaining his plan, when foam began spraying from above, turning their surroundings white and fluffy.

This wasn’t necessarily what he was expecting, but Gunnos knew that this was Daniel’s doing. “Go!” he yelled as he charged out the doorframe and into the foam-filled hallway. He held the door in the direction he knew his enemies to be, and advanced towards them. His allies were close enough to keep track of each other, but the end of the hallway was completely invisible to them, cloaked in foam. Good, Gunnos thought. That meant the intruders can’t see them either. As they were advancing, a shrill voice yelled something in an alien language, ending with a word that probably meant “fire!” Streams of bullets suddenly rattled all around them, several of them hitting and denting the plasteel door. Even more, however, went wide and only dented the surrounding walls, as the attackers could do little more than blindly fire in their general direction.

Gunnos knew they were within sight range when one of the women yelled something in a surprised voice, probably upon seeing a walking door coming towards her. “Now! Attack!” Gunnos yelled as he flung the dented door into the nearest intruder’s face, knocking her onto her ass. His team spread out and charged the other figures, vaguely visible among the foam. From then he briefly heard the sounds of punches, a few gunshots and the woofing of an angry dog, before the hallway quieted down.

“I think we got them,” a female voice sounded from amidst the foamy mass. She spoke Anolo, so it must’ve been the Faera who’d come along, not one of the intruders. Wading through the foam, Gunnos would quickly find out that two of the attackers had been shot down during the brief struggle, the third one knocked out by Greet’s fist. The one Gunnos had knocked down had been trying to get up when Ruddus body-slammed on top of her, knocking her unconscious. Ruddus himself was sitting next to her like a hunting dog fetching a rabbit. “Daniel?” Gunnos spoke into his earpiece. “Four hostiles down. No sign of others yet. I think this floor is safe. We’re coming to the intended destination now.”

Shor'Gen lifted his head, listening to the announcement. "Terra, help me secure the medbay. We cannot leave this place open for boarders, let alone with two wounded inside." He said, crawling past the golem and into the examination room, where he started to initiate the medbay's lockdown procedures. Opening a small panel, he flipped a couple of switches, and insrted his key card.

The lights on the door went from green to red as they sealed, and a loud clunk rang out as the deadbolts dropped down. Turning to Terra, he placed his primary pincers together, almost as if he was pleading with her. "Please, stay with the patients and the nurse, make sure nobody gets inside until I return." He said, before leaping up and through a roof vent.

He crawled through the ship's various shafts and vents until he found some boarders, firing around a corner towards Gunnos and some security personnel. Suddenly, the fire suppression systems kicked on, and Shor'Gen saw his chance. Bursting from a roof vent above one of the boarders, he came swooping down. He landed on the poor bastard, who only had time to look before Shor'Gen's pincers came down and made mincemeat of him. His friend started firing at Shor'Gen, who held his primary pincers in front of him to absorb some of the bullets before pouncing, pinning the silver-armored alien to the ground by her shoulders.

Uselessly, the boarder kicked and screamed, before Shor'Gens abdominal pincers came down and cleaned her abdomen out. Coming around the corner, covered in both his and the blood of the enemy, Shor'Gen spoke up to Gunnos. "Are there any wounded among you?"

Terra moves her defense into the examination room, following Shor'Gen. "Of course. That's what the golem is for." While Shor'Gen closed and locked the Medbay doors, Terra had to wonder how her dirt golem would hold up against guns and other... military hardware. Her fairy flits in front of her, catching the woman's attention. Before she can have a discussion with the creature, Shor'Gen begs her attention. "Stay with the p- Where are you going?" Terra watches as the lobster man disappears into the airvents. "... Alright... guess I'll just stay here, then..." She sighs, and turns to face her fairy and her golem, to find her fairy encasing her golem in ice.

The Selva woman moves in quickly, at first a little panicked. "Whoa, whoa, what're you- is that armor?" She relaxes and circles her golem once, examining the ice closely. She tries to move her golem, and it obeys with minimal obstruction. "... Cool..."

Alexis and Asuka

Asuka moved though the ship carrying the young kid as best as she could.
The kid was pretty thin and not all that long in height so he was pretty light, but he was still to heavy for Asuka to fully carry him if it was not for her enhancer magic giving her barely enough strength to carry the kid.
She knew it would be easier to move around with him if she had dropped the sword, but she could not do that.
Being a fellow swords user she felt there was a trust between them, knowing what a sword could mean for a swordsman, especially one that, in the quick seconds that she had to sheath the blade in Alexis his scabbard, had seemed to appear so unique, maybe even the reason behind the kid's power blast assault.

It was bad enough that she had to carry the kid across a battle field but as she moved though the ship it seemed the battle field had followed her as at certain points she noticed female silver soldiers moving though the ship.
Most seemed to be in a hurry to support their partners at some battle field further inside, something she was grateful for.
If she wanted she could have taken them down but it meant that she had to drop the kid at one place, risking his live and exhaust her magic more and more, risking both their lives on the long run...
She sneaked as best she could while getting to the ship's elevator.

eventually she got to it only to find out that the enemy had put their numbers around it, she wondered why they would take an interest in controlling the elevator, sure there had to be more reasons for it in a tactical point of view but for now all she cared about was how to get inside it and get the kid to the med bay ASAP.

"uhm.., excuse me, are you part of the Exa?" a new female voice sounded from Asuka's back.
Asuka quickly turned around, instinct wanted her to draw her blade but with the kid in her arms she had to restrain that impuls, cursing in her mind for being careless for a second.
To her relieve the one she looked into the eyes was a Rifer female, someone she had seen in the meeting but had not gotten the chance to talk to before.
"yes, but now is not the time for greetings" Asuka responded coldly while she returned to looking at the lift.
The Rifer female took her look over Asuka's shoulders "are those enemy's in the way?" she asked with a little stutter in her voice due to Asuka's cold responce, she wanted to ask if she should try to take them down but she did not dare it.
"yeah, cant get the kid to the med bay" Asuka replied simply, more focused on the group of females, though this time she kept her ears open for any sounds, not wanting to be surprised again.
Hearing that the Female Rifer found her courage to ask her question anyway "do you want me to take care of them?" still stuttering a little.
Asuka looked at the woman and noticed her security mark, the woman did not look like much at first glance with all that timid and stuttering, but she guessed she would be able to fight if she was a security member.
All she did was nod and followed as the woman started to grin while looking at the enemy's before she started to walk right into the middle of the hallway.

"hey bitches, you got the wrong ship" the woman yelled loud, surprising Asuka how she instantly changed personality.
The woman at the lift instantly looked at the new arrival, surprised at the boldness, they were surprised enough that it took them a little time before they started to grab their weapons.
The Rifer female however had grabbed her 2 machine guns while she shouted, something Asuka had missed to noticed due to her own surprise.
"Lets DANCE" The woman yelled as she started to fire her guns to the enemy woman, taking down 2 of them, leaving 4 that had either jumped into the elevator, around the corner and the last 2 were cowering on the ground, all the while The female kept on shooting like a mad-man, most of her magic bullets were hitting the wall on the other side of the corridor but seemed to had lost enough power by that time to only make dents.
"WHATS THE PROBLEM LADY'S, CANT TAKE THE HEAT, HAHHAAHAHAHAHA" The woman shouted "OR ARE YOU AS SCARED AS YOUR ALL UGLY AS SHIT, COME OUT AND FIGHT ME" she continued.
Her insult seemed to have sparked something in one that was on the ground as she suddenly stood up firing just as foolish from anger.

Asuka guessed that one had some issues with being called ugly, enough even to lose her head even in this situation, and she had to give it to the mad woman firing the machines gun's, she did not just fire randomly, she even tried and seemed to succeed in taunting her enemy to get in her line of fire, making her glad the mad woman was on their side.

While the enraged woman got up firing her gun in such a manner that she missed the Rifer woman but took out some lights in the process, the other woman that was on the ground screamed in vain for her ally to stay down, only to watched as the enraged woman got pumped full of magic bullets.
After that the Rifer woman stopped and grinned "what, cant take it your little slut died" she said trying to taunt the other 3 to come out, though she mostly expected the one on the ground to get up, making it a surprise that while she remained on the ground, the one that was hiding around the corner jumped into sight.
The Rifer female barely was able to avoid the shot made at her by stepping back with one leg, feeling the bullet scrape past her breasts, while pulling her arm up and firing her gun once more, taking down one more enemy.

both girls were surprised that the one that was on the ground still did not do anything for a little while.
The Rifer woman wanted to walk towards the woman only to stop when Asuka called out to her "Stop, she is right in the line of fire from the elevator door, it could be a trap with the one still inside"
The Rifer woman looked at Asuka and nodded before looking at the one on the ground once more, her gun shooting one shot, something she never done before, right into the womans head, she then grabbed one of the dead woman off the ground and hold her as a shield before walking into the elevator.
once inside she found the last of the enemy's that were in this corridor, trembling, her gun on the ground next to her.
The enemy woman had pulled her helmet off even.
Asuka walked in once she noticed that nothing happened to she the woman sitting on the ground in the corner, it was not hard to see that this woman had never seen anyone die before and now had seen an entire group of who likely were friends to the woman killed in front of her own eyes, breaking her mind.
The Rifer woman dropped the dead body on the ground in front of the scared woman.
The woman looked at her dead ally, who's head was faced towards her while laying in a really messed up position, blood covered so many of her features, it was no surprise that the woman ended up screaming and scrambled out of the elevator before stumbling over an other dead ally.
Asuka actually was feeling sorry for the woman and felt glad that the kid did not had to see this.
However the Rifer female was grinning, finding some amusement in the sight of her enemy having being reduced to this pitiful state.

Not wanting to see anymore Asuka used Alexis his foot to press against the button to get to the next floor before talking to the Rifer woman.
"names Asuka, once we know if the second floor elevator doors are clear, could you get outside and help the captain, if he's still not on the ship then I guess he needs some help" She asked the woman, true to her intentions in general but in a sense she also wanted to get the woman as far away from her as possible for now.
"eh.. sure, I will see what I can do, my name is Eru by the way" the woman replied, back to her timid and intimidated state of mind, something that surprised Asuka but she did not get much time to let that sink in as from the first floor she heard a gunshot.
She sighed as she guessed that the woman must have grabbed a gun from her ally's corpses and shot herself.

Once the doors opened it was a relieve for Asuka to find no enemy's on the second floor hallway, though it seemed that Eru was disappointed as she seemed to have been fired up to fight again once the doors opened.
Still Asuka did not paid it much mind as she started to move as fast as she could towards the medbay, only to find the door locked.
"hey, open up, this is Asuka Tomoe, Security personal, I have an unconscious kid here"
Eru and Volray

As the doors of the elevator opened on the first floor Eru looked at the woman leaning with her back against the wall on the opposite side of the hall across the elevator doors, an gun was laying on her lap and blood was flowing from the bullet hole on her forehead, Eru found it was a wierd spot to kill herself as most shoot themselves in the temple, but she did not care much, the girl was boring anyway.

Once she exited the ship she took a little look around the battle field, a grin crossed her face as she thought on how many enemies she could take care off right now, only to shake her head, she had a job to do.
As she stepped on the concrete floor she closed her eyes forcing a large slab of stone to rise in front of her, giving her some coverage from the barrage of bullets, incidentally also giving the ship's entrance some coverage.
after that she focused her magic more, pulling up the concrete floor and the rocks under it, ignoring the woman behind her that was likely spouting about her having to get back inside.
As soon as her golum body was finished did she finally replied, not really caring on what the woman had actually said anyway, she just figured the woman called her back "why hide in the ship if the real party is out here, no way I am going to miss it, besides I got a cap to rescue" With that she rushed off onto the battle field.
most of the time she pretty much slammed the giant golums arms on any enemy she could get close enough to, though at times she slammed the ground to force rock spires, platforms and craters to appear at pretty much random locations just to mess with the enemy.
it went on like this for quite a few minutes as she got lost in the 'game' though once she noticed the crystal bunker she knew where she had to go.

The golum quickly lost a bit of armor as it started to move much faster, running towards the bunker and ramming everyone that was unable to get away in time, smashing them to a bloody silver armored pulp.
Once it reached its destination the golum's upper body opened as Eru jumped out from the stone construction, making it crumble and crush all those that were trying to get close again.
She looked around to the 4 people, one who seemed to be an enemy prisoner that was stuck on the bunkers inner walls.
"who's the cap here?, wait, hey you on the ground your one of those Shiira right?" the rush of adrenaline and not having had any conversation with them before pressing on her in a manner that she was not as confident as when in a fight but also not as intimidated by those around her.

Volray looked up when the woman talked to him.
"yeah" he replied pretty simple, faking a smile as good as he could.
"perfect, hey I know, can you like make some crystal bridge or something if I rise the ground enough?" she responded, the guy seemed nice making her feel a little more at ease for the time being.
Volray looked at the woman for a little while, he had thought that he had to do this on his own, take the hits, lose his live while protecting these people, but with this option he could live as well, though he felt guilty about this option as well, he had thought that he could join his dead crew but now he might keep on living.
Volray slapped himself in his face to clear his mind and nodded to the woman, his face was serious now.

Eru took that as a sign and lifted a big slab of concrete while climbing the bunkers inner stairs, seeing the situations around she threw the slab on the ground hard to try and scare the enemy's away as much as possible while jumping down, hoping that the dust and smoke from the impact would hide her long enough to do her next task.
this one thing would be taxing for her and she knew she wont be able to perfect it, but with a Shiira behind her, it should work.

Putting her hands on the ground she focused for quite some time, long enough that the smoke around her started to lessen, but it worked just in time as earth started to rise in one long line, splitting the battle field in 2 as she made a wall like bridge all the way to the ship's entrance.
The enemy were surprised to see this and while some tried to attack they kept aiming to low or to high to hit the crouching girl who by the end of it was breathing heavily.
"Now!" she called as she moved back on the bunker.
Volray launched himself on the wall's edge and put his hands down ASAP, forcing walls of crystal to rise from the sides, making the bridge thinner, but at least they were save from enemy fire.
he jumped back inside and addressed all of them "go, I'll follow you once I got this guy down" With that he grabbed the man, forcing the crystal shackles that bound him to the bunkers walls to break just enough that it kept his hand and stump locked together in a large block but he was down from the wall at least.
This time Volray did not wanted any chances with the getaway, so he grabbed the man's arms shackle and crystalized his own hand to the back of the man's crystal collar, if he had to he would drag the man across the ground but for now he tried to encourage the man to walk by holding a diamond dagger to the man's spine, something that backfired once they got to the ship as his prisoner realized his chances to escape had failed, so suddenly he jumped backwards, impaling the dagger into his back, to suddenly before Volray got the chance to react move ahead again, pulling Volray out of balance for a second before coming back on the dagger, this time aiming the blade into his own heart.
"FUCK" was all Volray could say as the prisoner fell dead on the ground, if it was not for Volray to break the crystals that attached the 2, he would have fallen on the guy.
Setting all his thoughts aside he figured he could only do one little thing now, make a mad dash to the ship as it started to hover above the ground, having to launch himself once more in an attempt to reach the ship's entrance door.
His jump however failed as exhaust had kicked in, breaking his launch platform at the last second and giving him minimal air time, still he tried to grab the door, failing to reach it.
yet he did not crash to the ground as someone had grabbed onto his hand, he could not see who the man or woman was, but he knew someone had saved him.
his only question now was, would he be glad or not about this??

M'rayl snatched onto the hand of the crystal man as he faltered, lucky for him that she had long arms that were able to catch him just in the nick of time. Unlucky for both of them her race wasn't known for physical prowess so the momentum of his fall nearly jerked her off the ship and sent her crashing down on top of him, but the large, rough, mossy green hand of a Yu Ghreda wrapped around her waist, almost snapping her like a twig from the sudden stop, but perhaps that was an exaggeration and it was certainly better than the alternative. She turned her head to see him standing there in all his glory, a titan of a man just as the history books say. He easily stood at around seven and a half feet tall and was packed with muscle, but was surprisingly in an engineer outfit rather than a security like most would expect of them, if they even showed up at all now due to their scarcity. Or perhaps because of how rare they were they weren't in combat positions as much despite their culture?

"T-thank you," she said, eyeing him in awe.

"Yeah, whatever," he grumbled in a gravelly voice as he let go. "Let me help you with-"

Before he could get into position, with a heavy tug she was able to lift the crystal man up onto the ship, falling onto her butt and him collapsing on top of her. The surge of adrenaline had given her the strength needed to do the task herself. The Yu Ghreda nodded respectfully to himself at the sight, although M'rayl didn't catch this, currently distracted by the man laying firmly on top of her. The Yu Ghreda was about to leave, his work here done, when a beautiful Selva sprung onto the ship right in front of him, her (his) long hair flowing out around her (his) head before settling back down as her (his) slender feet made light contact with the plasteel floor. So this was the friend that the Captain had brought with him. A nice catch if he did say so himself. Maybe he'd buy a drink for this new addition to the crew, as a welcoming party, of course.

"Greetings, I am Urn Val, of the Yu Ghreda," he said as gracefully as he could muster, his voice booming.

Arm went to move in closer but tripped over his own two feet, ruining his graceful entrance as he stumbled awkwardly forward into Urn Val's surprised, muscular arms.

"Ah, you must be exhausted from all this excitement. Let me take you to the med bay," he said, blushing. Arma was speechless, which Yu Ghreda in their culture apparently translate as an affirmative because he was briskly sweeped off his feet and rushed away in his arms, a baffled look on his face the entire way.

The Captain, if he was just as bewildered at the scene taking place as poor Arma was, didn't show it underneath his mask. Instead he went straight to business, getting onto his communication device.

"This is Captain Ahn Vora speaking. Everyone is now on the ship that will be. You have permission to launch and remain in the atmosphere of the planet until the enemy has been revealed, in which case we will move in to engage. I will be making my way to the bridge momentarily."

********************

They were taking off already? Curses. The elite strike team was too slow in their advance upon hitting the road block and the cannon fodder was getting wiped out despite superior numbers among combatants. Although with the elite team still mostly alive and having the advantage in the long run, they no longer had a long run to work with. The crewmembers had been severely underestimated, it would seem, or at least they had a couple more talented individuals who were able to pull the weight of the crew, including some random newcomers that helped turn the tide. The war party leader let out a sigh, pondering what to do next. A lot of people in his clan were now dead. How troublesome. If this mission failed then would he have no choice but to ask additional clans to help him out, and convincing them to join his war party under his command would be difficult indeed.

"We still have some warriors on board the ship. We must have faith that they will succeed. Our elite team has to pull back for now and regroup for a better opportunity at another time. We can't afford to loose them if we are to win without the aid of another clan," he explained. "The rest of our men will cover their retreat."

After about a minute or so the foam stopped, not necessarily because there was no more foam if there was no actual fire the system is designed to automatically stop as not to waste foam. Daniel walked out from his cover after receiving Gunno's message, great it seemed that they were able to deal with the invaders during the confusion. Before meeting up with Gunno's team Daniel took a small detour to grab some supplies, he came up to a cabinet and opened it. He didn't need much in fact all he needed was a ready made toolkit packaged up in a small box with a handle. Now with the toolbox in hand Daniel made his way to the elevator, he didn't see the security team there so he assumed they were taking the other one, or even made it to the lower levels already.

As expected the elevator ride was fairly short. and soon Daniel was on the right floor. Right away nothing seemed wrong, no aliens or even signs of conflict. Daniel touched his earpiece, "Gunno, I'm on the lower deck now. I don't see any attackers so I'm heading right to the damage." Since the ship wasn't too large Daniel was upon the damage in just moments, still no signs of life which was good. The AVS spray did a good job on sealing the breach, plus the engineer who applied it seemed to know what they're were doing. Now to look at the main reason he was there, part of the wall was charred, live wires were sparking the flow with no where to go.

First things first, Daniel crouched down and opened his toolbox, since he's dealing with live wires with no quick way of stopping the flow he need protection. Daniel slipped on a pair of insulated gloves, specially made for dealing with the high amps of many shipboard electronics. Next he took an applicator tool and some capsules, the capsules were filled with a liquid known as smart metal, SM is used in repairing wiring and other circuits, its a much better solution then physically replacing wires. When SM comes into contact with any kind of gases it instantly solidifies and bonds with any present metal, problem is it bonds with ANY metal it takes a steady hand to apply it. Daniel started his work, carefully and slowly spraying small amounts of SM, the process does not not take long but any mistakes would mean needing to start over.

Gunnos
“Eeek!” Jeenee suddenly screamed, pointing at Shor’Gen as he emerged from a mound of foam, his carapace chipped and covered in gore. It made such a fearsome sight that even Gunnos’ heart skipped a beat when he turned around and saw it. For a brief moment, they all instinctively fumbled for their weapons, until it dawned on them that it was, in fact, their lead physician. “Gods, ye spooked us,” he said while waving at the others to lower their weapons. The foam was thinning a bit now, revealing the two invaders that Shor’gen had ambushed and disembowelled.

“Correction, six hostiles down. No others in sight, but stay on guard,” he spoke into his earpiece, before turning back to Shor’gen. “Good job, bud. The four o’ us are unscathed for now, but I think we gained two valuable pris’ners.” He looked down at the two silverclad that lay knock-out on the ground. They surely had a concussion and perhaps some broken bones, but seemed in no mortal danger at first sight. “Jeenee and Ruddus, go find somethin' to tie em up before they wake, and get em over to the brig if ye can. Greet and I will try te meet up with Daniel, just in case. Doc, once we’re out o’ danger, check the pris'ners for internal injuries. Can’t have em die on us. Oh, and be careful with yeself, ye seem quite wounded. We'd hate te lose someone like ye." With that, Gunnos and Greet set out to join with Daniel, leaving Shor'gen in the care of Jeenee and Ruddus, or more likely the other way around.

Kwon
Kwon had been closely monitoring the events throughout the rest of the ship through his live feed, while hastily getting the ship ready for lift-off. The captain was not on board yet, but help was coming to him, it seemed. Two groups of intruders had been dealt with, but there were others still inside, at least a few. “Attention security,” he spoke into the intercom. “The area around the breach appears secure, but there are intruders left across the second and maybe first floor. They’ve broken some of the cameras, so I can’t track them.”

When a path was finally formed, in a more literal way than expected, and the captain was on his way to the entrance, Kwon wasted no more time. He felt iffy about lifting off with enemies still inside, but they had to get out of here. He activated the Antigrav Generator and the ship slowly rose off the ground, just as the last few made their way through the entrance. “Roger that, captain. The sliding roof of the hangar is jammed with debris, I fear. We’re gonna have to bash through. Prepare for some turbulence!”

With the Exeralune off the ground and the doors finally closed, the invaders broke off their fruitless assault and scurried for cover against the ship's turrets. On the far end of the hangar, a hole had been blown in the crystal wall that sealed the entrance and some of the soldiers were retreating. “Gunners, concentrate firepower on the hangar roof, else we might not get through.” The thrusters were powerful enough to blow them through the roof, surely, but Kwon would rather avoid tilting the entire ship, and the lift of an antigrav generator would only get them so far.

The gunners were quick to start firing at the ceiling, the pherza bullets blowing small smouldering holes in the plasteel rafters. Meanwhile, Kwon slowly spun the ship around its axis, directing the turrets to carve out a circle large enough to surround the Exeralune. When the circle was nearly complete, the roof began moaning loudly like a structure about to collapse, and Kwon knew it was time to move. The ship took off upwards, bashing into the severely damaged ceiling, and suddenly a portion of the roof was torn from the rest of the building and lifted up with the ship. Once up in the air, he activated the thrusters and the ship took off towards the stratosphere, leaving the slab of hangar roof to slide off its back and crash back down to the ground. “Lift-off successful, captain.”

Shor'Gen nodded to Gunnos, and as he left, he turned Jeenee and Ruddus. "Do as Gunnos says, and take these two to the brig. I will be down shortly to attend to the prisoners For now, I must return to the medbay and take it off of lockdown," He said, looking the two over for wounds before he left. As he crawled away, he had a certain gait about him. Gunnos was right, Shor'Gen was indeed wounded, but his kind perceived pain differently than others. As an insectoid creature, he could shrug through what other races would consider agonizing wounds, but this also meant that artificial healing was a limited affair, since hard carapace is so fundamentally different from soft skin.

Still, he returned to the medbay, only to find that there were quite a few gathered outside. Today was going to be a busy day. Swiping his card, he opened the door and released the lockdown, and began to see patients, along with the rest of the medbay personnel.

Daniel continued his patch work on the electrical wiring, so far nothing has gone wrong and the SM was setting in correctly. After a few minutes Daniel breathed a sigh of relief, he was applying the last few drop of SM after the connection was complete again he dropped the SM application tool, and picked up what looked like a spray can, it was filled with quick hardening rubber, nothing with a fancy name. He sprayed the rubber over the newly formed wires, it was important to insulate the wires not for protection but to prevent any power from bleeding off. Last step was to close off the hole all together, Daniel didn't have time to make proper repairs so instead used some AVS to form a temporary seal. He gathered up his tools to store them in the toolbox, he looked over his repair job with sanctification a quick look at his VAE goggles showed that power was restored back to normal levels.

Daniel spoke into his earpiece, "Right I've been able to fix power with no conflict, everything should be working order. Also Gunnos thanks for the assist out there, don't think I could have made it otherwise. Anyway I'm heading over the the bridge if anyone needs me."

Daniel left the toolbox on the floor, they might need the supplies later when going over proper repairs. The last maybe half hour seemed unreal to him at this point with all the action and chaos, hardly what he expected for his first day at all. Daniel made his way to the bridge as he said, after another quick elevator ride he soon walked through the doors into the bridge proper. It didn't seem that the captain was there yet at least as far as Daniel could tell, he didn't even really know what their captain looked like anyway. Seemed he had to wait for sometime, Daniel leaned on a nearby wall without acknowledging anyone, he was far too tired to care in fact he wanted to make his way to the dorms soon as possible, but they weren't out of danger quite yet, plus he wanted to give a personal report of damages first as well.

(Sorry for all possible typos and other problems as I am forced yo work from my phone. What is never easy for me when making an IC)

[B] Volray [\b]

The sudden tug surprised Volray as he was suddenly lifted on the ship.
it took him a few seconds to calm down and open his eyes, not realizing that he was laying on top of someone.
as he opened gis eyes he looked right into the eyes of a female crew member. She seemed to be from a race he had not seen before but her features were distinct enough to remember with her white skin and blue eyes. Especially the dots next to her eyes that were in the same color as her eyes.
"Eh. Hey... sorry and uhm thanks I guess" he said as he slowly tried to get up. Only to realize his hand was holding something he should not hold. Something attached to her chest "sorry" he said as he quickly let go and stood up fully this time.
right after that he stood up he noticed on her armor and weapon that she was an security member.
he quickly took the Shiira military greeting. Standing straight fist pressed against together showing the back of his hands forward.
he did not know if she was a high ranking member or if she knew the Shiira military greeting. But as he was on an ship not his own he figured he should start with acting as if all security members are higher then him, his old rank would not count on this ship as far as he knows
[B] Alexis [\b]

Alexis slowly started to wake up in the medbay after a while.
as he opened his eyes he noticed a large bug like monster standing over him.
"Oh shit" he said as he jumped off the bed. Without realizing it claws made from his aura shaped over his arms as he was afraid for his love for this large monster like creature.

(Ooc: can someone walk into the main computer room or something so that Isaac can do something again as well?)

Shor'Gen was observing one of the patients, when they suddenly decided to shoot up and pull magical claws on him. Shor'Gen backed away, holding his claws up to show he meant no harm. "Please, be calm! I'm the Lead Physician. My name is Shor'Gen. You're in the medbay. Please, you need to go back to your bed. You're recovering from an injury," Shor'Gen said as he took a few cautious steps towards Alexis.

Ahn Vora at last made his way onto the bridge, his cloak whirling around him as he plopped down into the captain's chair at the center of the room. He made it just in time to see the ship lift off out of the hanger, and also in time to see that to the far right of their view screen, as the rubble cleared their view, was a mysterious drop ship blasting off of the planet at high speeds, it's lift off point likely around the general vicinity of the area where the enemies were landing, meaning that this ship more than likely belonged to the enemy. It certainly wasn't Furzai or any known IGCP craft, further cementing his suspicions.

"Alright, everyone, let's see what we can do in stopping this attack," he commanded. "We follow that enemy drop ship to the source," as he said this he did a dramatic flourish of his wrist to point at the ship in question. "It's unlikely that they'd be equipped with a cosmodrive capable of faster than light travel, so if that's the case then they will first need to dock with the ship they came here with. It's at that moment that we will be able to locate the main enemy ship and teach it a thing or two before it has a chance to escape. Targeting it's engines will be the focus of our strikes, but if it's cloaked from even our physical viewing then we may have no choice but to take shots in the dark. Now let's get this show on the road!"

As the ship went on it's way, the AI spoke up onto the bridge.

"Welcome aboard, Captain Vora," she said. "I had rather the most unpleasant alarm clock awaken me, but it looks like the situation is settling itself rather nicely. All system necessary for this task are go. Main engine now online."

Most of the crew pressed back into their seats as the ship lurched forward, breaking through the planet's atmosphere with seemingly minimal effort as the chased after the enemy craft glittering in the sunlight ahead of them.

********************

M'rayl wasn't the shy type, although this awkward situation was enough to cause her to blush and turn her gaze away from any eye contact with him for a brief moment. With the seriousness of the situation at hand, at least, they could quickly pretend that this never happened and go onto business, an excuse to quickly press onward and avoid an awkward silence.

She turned back to face him as she got up and brushed herself off, then gave her own military salute in return, although of the IGCP variety. She could tell what he was doing even if not exactly the same. Her left arm hung at her side and her right forearm crossed her torso, ending with two of her fingers on her left shoulder. With that she gave a brisk bow.

"Do you need medical assistance? Or rest?" She questioned him, eyeing how weary he looked from the conflict outside. The ship suddenly jerked, causing her to be the one to stumble into him this time, her forehead banging against his chest.

"Owie," she thought to herself, barely managing to maintain her footing.

********************

The AI went back to Isaac. "That was a rather interesting ability that you don't want to get out. Is it safe to assume that you won't attempt to fry me as well for learning your secret? If you do that then there may be a mutual barbeque on our hands, although with my safeguards installed it might end a bit better for me then it will for you. This is all just conjecture, however, based on the estimated electrical impulses that I could estimate coming from your body. Or, to put this all simply so that even the mind of an organic can understand, I could probably zap you better then you could zap me. Or maybe my zapping would have to be done with something other then electricity if you were also immune to it? Hmm...what do you make of this dilemma," she questioned, apparently amused with this revelation.

“Affirmative.” Kwon replied to the captain as he steered the Exeralune to tail the departing drop ship at a safe distance. They followed the drop ship through the clouds and out into the open stratosphere. There was still no hostile ship in sight, only a few Furzai military ships in the distance, assumedly searching for the same culprit. But luckily, the drop ship seemed unaware that it was being followed and was leading them right to the target. Eventually, the shuttle came to a halt in mid-air, and Kwon witnessed it disappearing into thin air, inch by inch while the air around it vaguely rippled in distortion, as if it was being swallowed by some greater invisible structure… because it was.

The captain was seeing it as well. “It seems we’ve found them. Helmsman, launch the missiles at that invisible mass!” he ordered, dramatically pointing in its direction as if his very finger would project a beacon on the target. Kwon wasted no time in disabling the homing function, since there was nothing to lock onto, taking aim and firing. When he pressed the button, two 14-foot unguided missiles were fired from their launchers, positioned at the left and right-front of the ship. They sailed through the air unhindered for a few seconds, before suddenly hitting a previously-invisible barrier and loudly erupting into two fiery explosions.

As the missiles exploded, the object they’d hit flickered in and out of view as its cloaking system was struggling to stay active despite the damage. “Prepare to continue fire at my mark. Gunners, stand at the ready.” the captain spoke unfazed. For a moment, it seemed like the ship would resume full cloaking, but then the cloak was dropped completely, revealing a Light Cruiser-class ship with a silver, black and purple colour palette, facing its left flank towards them. It was slightly longer than the Exeralune and more robust in design, with a jagged exterior. But the first thing that caught Kwon’s eye, thanks to his experience in space combat, was the two sizeable turrets located along the side of the craft.

The cloak had barely finished dropping when the two Gatling guns started firing, unloading a hail of kinetic bullets against their frontal shields. Kwon quickly responded by swerving the Exeralune to the right and circling toward the backside of the hostile ship, causing the interior of the Exy to shake and angle to the right, possibly causing people inside to lose their balance. Turbulence was a lot worse within the atmosphere than in outer space, because the artificial gravity couldn’t function this close to the planet. Yet despite the turbulence, the captain remained calmly in his chair. “Good, keep avoiding fire and laying on missiles. Gunners, take any opportunity to fire at the ship’s engines, or otherwise the flank turrets. Communications officer, please attempt to contact any nearby Furzai ships and ask for assistance.” Nearby, the Valliur responsible for communications was already frantically flipping through frequencies to do just that.

All the while, Kwon was focussed. The hostile turret fire was diverted from the front shields to the flanks, and then halted when the Exeralune entered their blind spot. The launch button turned from red to green to indicate that the missiles were reloaded, so Kwon fired another salvo, unguided as to not waste any time locking on, at the enemy’s backside. Unfortunately, they simply exploded against the ship’s cling shields, dealing insufficient damage to break through just yet. The invaders’ ship started rotating to face them, forcing Kwon to stop strafing sideways and turn to show the enemy their flank, allowing for enough circling speed to stay inside their blind spot, but making further missile use impossible. The left side gunner was firing a continuous stream of pherza bullets into the enemy’s hind shield, while their own gunners could only take occasional opportunity attacks at the Exeralune’s flank. They were in a good position for now, but Kwon knew that the enemy would soon catch onto his trick and change up their approach, and he did not want to get caught in their superior firepower.

Alexis

"injury?" Alexis asked before he realized the monster said it was the lead physician "WAIT WHAT???? YOUR THE MEDIC HERE?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!"
slowly his aura claws started to pull back into his aura without him realizing it was ever up to start with.
Suddenly the ship made a move to the right as the helmsmen was avoiding the first barrage of enemy turret fire, making Alexis fall towards the monster doctor's arms.
When Alexis opened his eyes and looked up to the giant monster he pretty much turned whiter then baby blue (which is really light compared to his normal blue skin) while he swallowed his saliva.
"t.. thanks"
Isaac

Isaac grinned at the AI's comments "lady, your alright, dont worry, your an ally so I wont even attempt to touch you, well at least not in the bad way" he chuckled at his own little joke, though he doubted the AI would get the joke, most AI's dont get humor and especially a dirty joke like that seeing their programming pretty much never understood the underlining meaning of such comments.
"but yeah I am electric immune and I can understand the technical remarks just fine" he grinned again "anyway, I hope you keep my existence a secret, like I said, we have had our problems that resulted in keeping our race a secret, if you like I can make a robot body or something for you so you can roam around the ship and outside if you like?"
Volray

To his relieve she also greeted him with a salute, acting like the event just before did not happen.
"Some rest would be ni..." he tried to answer to her question when the ship suddenly jerked indicating the official lift off.
He was surprised how he was able to keep his footing, guessing he had to thank his tail for it, as he captured the woman when she fell onto him this time, her head hitting his chest.
"owie" she said, owie?
This girl dressed like a security member said something cute like that???, now that he thinks about it, she also blushed before, well not that he cant understand that seeing where his hand was, but to see a security member blush due to that and not act all tough... It was surprising, in a good way, to meet a security member who acted cute like that.
As he slowly let her go so she could stand on her own again he tried to ask her if she was fine when the ship once more made a sudden move, shaking the ship to its right, sending him once more out of balance, this time tripping over each others legs he fell onto her again.
"seriously again" he said to himself due to the constant falling over.
as he opened his eyes he looked right into hers right before him, the only thing that prevented them from bumping heads, or possibly lips where his arms as he subconsciously moved them in front of him, this time he felt both her globes in his palms, worse he felt his knee against her crouch.
"uh..." was all he could say, afraid to move and well... touch her more, he did not know how to move from this position without putting pressure in bad places, though those thoughts were quickly pushed out of his mind when he suddenly became aware of multiple pains in his chest as the spikes on his upper arms had slightly pierced though his clothes and skin.
Quickly he jumped up, not thinking about the position at the moment in order to move his arms from his chest, small droplets of blood showed on his damaged clothes, it was not much and the spikes had not dug deep, but it still hurt.
He looked back at the woman, realizing that he had suddenly jumped up and likely moved his knee in a... well lets say bad way, bad based on the fact that she was a security member and such inappropriate actions were not that nice on security members... but at least she seemed fine, flustered, but fine making him feel relieves the spikes were pointed at himself and not at her this time.
"s... sorry" he simply said putting his arm behind his head and looking way... this felt awkward....

Shor'Gen's eyeless head loomed above Alexis', and he noticed that the blood blanched from his face. "Yes. You may pronounce me Shor'Gen. I am indeed the Lead Physician aboard this vessel," He said, holding Alexis in his pincers. He straightened Alexis back up, placing him on his feet. When the ship lurched, Shor'Gen had barely moved at all. He knew the ship was in combat, but until the captain told him otherwise, the Medbay was his post. "Thanks are not necessary, Alexis. I am merely performing my duties."

Terra had been standing guard at the entrance to Med Bay the whole time. She'd tried to let the crew members in, when she saw them on camera, outside the door, but... she didn't have codes for it. Nothing she could do but wait and be ready. She would have loved to let them in, but Shor'Gen returned shortly enough, and it was back to guard duty. Except Med Bay was no longer locked down, which meant she had to be even more ready. It would sure be nice to know if the ship was secure... She'd heard quite the ruckus earlier, she had to assume a breach. Had they then been boarded? "Aaahg, it'd be nice to know if I had to be on high alert or not...!" Terra watches the entrance anxiously. If she could know, then it would be easier to deal with. She could relax or be on guard. She could just be on guard anyway, but that was tiring and she's not designated combat personnel. Standing guard all day wasn't in her job description. "Hm?" Terra focused her attention as her fairy bobbed in front of her. She was distracted momentarily by the fairy's crystal-clear wings. They warped the light as though they were made of clearest ice, but somehow, she knew better. The fairy bobbed and fluttered, focusing the woman before speaking to her. "You want to see my phone? Uh, sure." Terra produces the device from her pocket, showing her fairy. The device lights up for a moment before powering down as the Aeva interacts with it. "Wha- hey! What'd you do to my ph-wwwwwhhooooaaaaa." Sylph had paid her no mind as she continued to acclimated to the local technology. Since no one else on the ship seemed to have an Aeva companion, there was no one nearby to network with. However, the fairy could still connect to local networks. It limited her functionality, but she should provide her *faltis* with the information she needs. To stop her *faltis* from freaking out, Sylph had started feeding her a HUD. To the ships AI, Sylph would, initially, look like Terra's phone. Same login credentials. Upon any sort of further inspection, however, it is clearly not Terra's phone. Another AI would be the closest thing that Sylph looked like.

Looks like his troops had failed to secure control over the Exeralune, his greatest clue being when it started firing on his ship, and to make matters worse some of their shots were hitting, revealing his position despite his cloaking due to the distortions caused by the damage. His shields could withstand the attack for now but he had other ships incoming and he would soon be caught in a barrage of fire with no hope of hiding again as long as he couldn't shake his opponent. On the bright side his elite troops managed to safely dock with him so it looked like he had to cut his losses and call it quits now. "Before the Furzai and IGCP ships converge on our location, slip out through that position!" He ordered, pointing somewhere on the view screen occupied only by empty space. Their cosmodrive strained to speed up to faster than light travel so close to the planet but it slowly managed to lurch forward, quicker and quicker until it vanished out of sight a safe distance away, giving covering fire at the Exeralune to make sure it didn't have free reign attacking it while it was turning tail to run. Although taking several hits during this process, it was unlikely to have completely incapacitated them judging by how they still managed to get away. ******************** "Our cosmodrive is still not fully charged up enough to give chase," the AI informed the Captain. "Looks like I was a little rustier than I thought on this early startup." "No worries," the Captain replied. "We managed to stop the enemy attack and save many lives in the process, no need to go on a hunt when we still need time to lick our wounds. We'll leave the others in charge of tracking them down. In the mean time, I want a complete head count on who managed to make it onto the ship, who's still waiting for us on the planet, and who's no longer with us. We'll need to think about getting our numbers back up to full capacity before taking further action, but I do have a few people in mind who might just come in handy for this endeavor. Let me give them a ring. I'll be in my office if any of you need anything. Otherwise, let's land this bird and do whatever it is you need to do after signing in at one of the computer terminals on the ship." With that, he swooshed out of his seat and then strolled quickly out of the bridge. ******************** The AI repeated the situation and the Captain's orders throughout the ship to give everyone a heads up. Then she got to Isaac, letting out a sighing noise for the benefit of letting him known she got the innuendo and was getting tired of this conversation. However, this was more-so due to the circumstances. The man himself had piqued her interest somewhat even if he was just a squishing mortal. "I already have a robotic body near the central computer room, but I won't stop you from trying out your own laughable attempt," she said. "I'd love to see more of what you're capable of as long as you don't end up boring me." ******************** "Ignore this. Ignore, ignore, ignore..." M'rayl thought to herself, squeezing her eyes shut as he was in contact with her. Now would be the point where the girl would slap him across the face and leave a hand print in a lot of the anime she had watched, but unlike cartoons she couldn't just randomly start hitting people over accidents. Especially injured people who might be down to their last few hit points. Luckily he managed to break free without further incident. At least for now. She then heard the message and gave a nod to thin air as if they could see her affirmative. "Guess I better check in so they know I'm okay. I'll give you a hand to the medical bay or the computer terminal to check in as well if you'd like," she offered, extending out her right hand. "And let's hope the ride goes a little bit smoother this time." She let out an awkward chuckle after her joke to show that she wasn't mad at him.

**Volray** . Volray still did not look at her, but it seemed she was kind of fine. "y..Yeah medbay would be nice" He lifted his shirt to check the wounds and exhaled, sure it hurt, and breathing like exhaling was even more painful but he had experienced worse, both on the field but also with his own arms spikes when they had came in years back. "Do I really have to check in, I am not a member of our ship" he did not wanted to say crew, feeling it reminded him too much of his own. - ---------------------- - **Alexis** . Alexis looked away from the giant monster when he was put on his feet "yeah... I kinda meant with catching me" Slowly he started to move sideways towards the door. "If you dont mind, I think I am fine, just needed some rest, so.... I'll..... be.... BYE" He yelled at the end as he started to run out of the medbay as fast as he could, which, being a agile Glaizart meant he was pretty fast. . After a short but pretty far dash, when he ran around a corner he slammed against something, well likely more someone but he was so focused on getting as far away from that medical beast that he failed to notice if the thing he slammed into even had an aura to start with. - ---------------------------------------- - **Isaac** . He smiled at the, well computer funny enough. "I'll try my best, say may I see your body, If I know what it can, maybe I can find something to enhance it with, you dont have to get in it if you dont want to, just show me the way my lady" He really liked this computer, if she had a real body, well real as in flesh or something similar, he would definitely try to date her. Yes he knew that sounded line, well discriminating but it would be weird to date an AI, even if she had a robot body, its like dating a robot, so unless... . Suddenly he had an Idea, even if he never has a chance to date her, he could try to do something that as far as he knows has never been done before. find a way to use magiwaves in order to make a body that looks and acts like a real flesh body, able to change its appearance so the AI can look like any humanoid she wants, feel like how it is to be a fleshy live form, with working 5 senses, yes even touch, pain and pleasure, well the pain would get a button s she can shut that down if needed. Perhaps he can even create sexual organs, maybe even go so far to create an artificial womb. . Magitech could really do wonders with this.

Sylph listened for comms chatter or anything on the wifi indicating their situation. She could also sense Aeva... in the city below. They were in a ship, then? Alright. But, this turmoil and fear... the city has been attacked? What a thing to wake to... but, her Faltis was brave and kind, and that was all she needed. She beings to form a picture with the other Aeva, of the city and the airspace above it, before feeding it to Terra through her new Aeva HUD. And while she did that, she decided to test the waters of the ship's network. *Hello~? Is the ship secure again?* Terra was taking some time to get used to the graphics being projected directly into her vision. "Whhooaahohohohooaa, this is cool." Things that Sylph could see that she can not see were highlighted in the HUD, and there's that small 3D map in one corner of her vision, of the city's airspace.

Gunnos had checked up with Daniel to ensure his safety and was making one last round of the lower floors when he was suddenly interupted. “What the-!” he yelled out as some blue blur came dashing around the corner and slammed into him at full speed. For a brief second it brought him back to the frost wurms of Dorghor, a memory he did not wish to relive, but he was quickly pulled back to the present to realize that this particular blur was just a humanoid, a young man of a race he didn’t immediately recognize. The initial shock and impact had caused Gunnos to stumble and fall unceremoniously on his ass despite being normally sure-footed. Although he didn’t consciously remember drawing it, his shotgun was in his hands. “Gods, ye spooked me, lad.” he said as he clumsily scrambled back to his feet. The boy wasn’t wearing silver, so didn’t seem like an immediate threat, but he wasn’t in an IGCP uniform either. As far as he knew, there shouldn’t have been any civilians inside the military base when the attack happened, so what was he doing here? “Wait a sec. Ye ain’t one o’ us nor one o’ them silverclad. How did ye get in here?” he questioned sharply, while holding onto his gun just in case the boy meant to use that sword at his hip. He didn’t like acting distrustful to strangers, but sometimes it was necessary.
