Walking out of the shadow Dao took up the starting position of the obstacles course. Gathering the soul energy from the ground and air Dao dashed foward. Rather than jumping off the quintuple steps he pushed off the ground straight down between each step.running down the path swiftly clearing each hurdle jump over and over up to the spinning log. Standing before the log he grabbed on with one hand he pushed down on the path spinning. Dropping down to the balance bridge Dao ran across up to jump hang one over the next he swiftly claimed up the jumbled mess. At the warped wall Dao quickly dashed up and over to the salmon ladder. Standing at the base he gathered the soul energy of the air to strengthen his arm, forcing his way up he lifted his way up the salmon lader. Up wall lift Dao modified the soul of the wall to make them lighter and lifted them one after another. On the pipe slider he pushed off and quickly slip down to the spider wall. Finally at the last obstacle he reinforced his arms and legs and climbed his way to the top. Looking down past the group of people Dao flashed away back to his dark corner behind the crowd.

"I see we are going to have to spend a lot of time explaining the concept of instructions." Griffin commented. He quote Dao a time that was twice the time it took him to complete the course. "If your going to cheat and use your abilities you are going to have to be more creative about it. Especially those of you taking Roxy's rogue classes. Dao you will re run the course since you didn't complete it the first time through."

Violet watches the teacher carefully She was fairly sure that she could do all of these things, and she didn't have special powers like the others to do it, but she tends to crack under pressure. She takes a deep shaky breath and leans back into the wall, twirling one of her knives between her fingers.

Andrea hung back as Griffin showed the students what to do, analyzing his blind spots and his weak points, all the while soaking in the info about the course. He mentioned something about rogues having to be especially creative with their cheating.

Andrea smiled. More than easy. Childish, even.

Taking advantage of her peers would be more than entertaining, but watching their reactions to be manipulated even more so.

She approached Dao with a curious caution in her walk. "Excuse me," she said in a low whisper, almost as if she were gossiping. "But what would you say was the hardest part of the attempt to you?"

Alexander grinned and settled against the wall, smirking at Dao. running his thumb over the edge of his blade he cleaned it of dust and other debris with a static charge, the dust forming a ball at the tip which floped on to the ground and fell in to a pile. He then put the blade away, grinning at the fact that Dao had gotten in trouble, but not himself.

"Hhhhhmmmm.... I guess the salmon bars?"
Dao thought to himself more creative and said out loud "more creative sure I can do that" Dao reproached the starting line and began gathering all the mana in the space around the obstical course. Using the high density of mana he bent the space in on itself like how you would fold a paper in half. With the course bent and warped in space he took a step towards the finish line . "is that creative enough or should I actually go through it again???" Dao said in a perplexed tone as he slowly uncurled the mana warped obstical course

"You will redo the course but not today. Today you get a failing score. I want each of you to keep in mind that while I might be new to teaching I am not new to this world. I have been adventuring along time. I have seen many powers, abilities, and tricks over the years. I have successful completes several quest and have been on over thirty adventures. If you want to impress or fool me you will have to try harder." griffin told them. "Who's next?"

Alexander laughed at Dao and stuck his tongue out. "ah nyaaaah!" He made a noise and attempted to wind Dao up and continued to clean his blade. grinning at the fact he'd gotten away without doing the last obstetrical and had been passed. "I wonder what'll be like with the other teachers?" He wondered out loud and slid his blade in to its case at his hip, opening his book and starting to read whatever was in there.
