James Arthur Qatr (AKA: Grease)Age: 24MaleJames has the ability to make electricity, which sounds more fun than it actually is. Electricity is highly dangerous and unstable, making too much of it could kill James in an instant. Directing electricity over long distances is nearly impossible, but anything closer than 5 meter is possible. James normally uses his electricity for fighting other people hand to hand or to burn circuits and overriding systems.James Arthur Elqatran was born the youngest in a family of two in Canada. His older brother was 4 when James was born. His father was a succesfull bussinessman who had been in some kind of market for 19 years. James never paid attention to his dad's work. His mother was a sweet and caring housewife. James' brother, Michael, was going to take over his father's bussiness when his dad would pass away. James' life was easy. His parents were rich enough to buy him anything he wanted and he got all the help he needed for school. His life was perfect, until an accident in which James, Michael and his mother were all involved in. That was around 6 or 7 years ago. Nobody knows exactly what happened but rumor has it that the driver lost control of the car and drove off a cliff. James' mother and brother both died on impact, James somehow survived. He woke up outside of the car, covered in blood and sweat. As he tried to stand up, he noticed that something was holding him down. Part of the car had fallen down on his right arm, which he couldn't feel anymore. Other parts of his body were also in really bad shape. The driver, who also survived, helped him out of it all. James passed out and woke up, days later, in a hospital. His right arm was no more, but he woke up with something else. Some kind of rush in his body. It didn't took him long to find out that he could make electricity. He knew that people with special powers were hated, so he kept is a secret. Now, almost 7 years later, James lives in New York. The doctors gave him a prostethic right arm. His father holds James responsible for the accident and thus also for the death of Michael and their mother. His father wanted him out of his life. So he gave James 10% of his fortune and told him to leave Canada. James started a life as an 'artist' and changed his name last name to Qatr. When he's not trying to make art or walking around downtown New York, where he lives, he's training. He needed to start doing a sport as part of his rehabilitation process. He chose to do a couple of different fighting sports. It was a good way to get some exercise and get his anger out. At night he normally goes out, trying to find inspiration for his art. He likes chaotic types of art, so he's always looking for chaos and people suffering. If he can't find it, he sometimes even makes it himself.James knows his etiquettes and acts according to those. He acts kind, thoughtful and interested in other people. But in reality, he doesn't give a crap about other people and what they feel. James is selfish and ruthless. He is, just like electricity, unstable in emotions. The fact that he has enough money to come by makes him even more unpredicable, since he does everything for fun. Anything he does, he does for the kick, not for the money.-He hates showering, since water and electricty don't go well. That's why he almost never showers, or goes swimming. His nickname comes from his hair, which becomes greasy from not showering.-Fond of beer.-Collects skulls.

Park Han Gyul; "Hank Park" 25 (Birthday: February 3rd, 2030) Male Super Senses, to be explained further Hank was born and raised in midtown Manhattan, and lived in a small apartment off of West 32nd with his parents and six siblings. His dad worked as a jeweler, and his mother was a homemaker. Growing up, Hank's school grades wobbled between average and poor, and he often skipped classes to hang around with friends. His parents called them bad influences, which might or might not have been true. Whatever the case, Hank wound up getting friendly with the local gangpae, the Korean mob in NYC.Hank's chronically poor attendance resulted in his expulsion from school, and his involvement with the gangpae grew steadily. They had him working in loan sharking and extortion, as one of a handful of guys that stood behind whoever was doing the talking, as muscle. Eventually they found he had a knack for reading people, and put that to use gambling. The gang had him launder money through casinos, changing large sums of dirty money for chips; playing in high stakes games for a short while, and then cashing out the same sum as 'winnings'. He didn't need to win, he just needed to waste a bit of time and make sure he didn't lose much. He even made a tidy profit wagering with money that wasn't his, on more than one occasion. Some people didn't like that, and he got his arm broken once for his troubles. What Hank didn't share with anyone was just he was reading people. He'd read the news headlines about people with abilities, how they were a danger to humanity, how they should be reported, detained, etc. If that weren't enough to convince him to keep his mouth shut about the changes he was experiencing, nothing would be. He wasn't normal, that was for damn sure. He'd always had good eyes and ears, ever since he was a kid, but it had gotten way out of hand. He could hear a person's from across the room, the tide of blood wax and wane through the capillaries of their face, the hormones in their nervous sweat screaming that they were bluffing, and as time went on he got even better at it. The way he perceived the world became fundamentally different from the people around him, and it was incredibly alienating. All he could do was keep his mouth shut.As he his senses honed, he got into the sale of information, and he was damned good at it. It made him more money than the gangpae ever did, and served as a wedge that was driven between them. He maintained connections with them, but they became more tenuous by the day as he grew into an independent broker. He paid his respects and his dues, but as far as he was concerned he didn't need their work any more. He was . He knew what was going on, knew who'd pay to find out, and most importantly knew what was off limits. When the power boom got too big and the Big Apple had martial law dropped on it, things got rough. Is that an understatement? Yeah, it kinda is. Didn't hurt his business much, though. The shit hits the fan, and the underbelly of society thrives; pretty much the usual progression of events. WIP Hank has a black belt in Hapkido, a kevlar vest, a tactical pump shotgun, a jackknife, an ass-load of money, a fancy apartment, and a sportbike (i.e. crotchrocket) motorcycle. Under normal circumstances he does not wear the vest or carry the shotgun.

Name: Frank WatersAppearance: He stands at 5 foot 11.Age: 31Gender: MalePower: Can spot a good cup of coffee from a mile away, none.Bio: Frank was born in Yakima, Washington to a police rookie father and a housewife mother. As a young lad he idolized his father and constantly went raved on about how one day he too would become a 'policeman' just like his dear old dad and go about saving the town from whatever imagination filled villain popped into his head at the time of the story. Of course, there were spots in his teen years in which his angst got the best of him and he announced he hated the world and whatnot, but that was all talk.It turns out the idolization he had of his father affected his later life as he did in fact join the police force after leaving university in which he studied law. He stayed on the force for quite a few years before being offered the position of detective within the force. He accepted with delight and began going through cases as best he could. It was only until a year into his new position that he met a case that plagued him for many years of his life. An arsonist had gone on a short and abruptly ended spree of crime within Frank's precincts jurisdiction without leaving enough evidence to gain a proper lead on the case. Frank took this to heart and began making it his life's goal to find and arrest the arsonist. He tracked him for years while juggling other cases and tasks set to him. The arsonist grew wiser as time went on, he stopped doing crimes as often and started spreading the buildings he lit alight out. The case was driving Frank around the bend he grew angrier and angrier with each day that the arsonist walked free. It was only until the arsonist affected Frank personally that he finally lost it. Frank's father was in the hospital after surgery on his bowels. Frank and his mother were visiting him when the arsonist struck again. This was the biggest case that the arsonist had done yet and now it was endangering Frank and his family. As the building set alight, Frank caught a glimpse of the arsonist just outside the window through the rising smoke. He leaped onto the fire escape and began a chase through the streets of Washington. He didn't think about the people in the hospital and the people he could have saved, just the ones he could prevent having to save in the future. The chase ended up in a secluded alley, a corpse lay in front of Frank and a smoking gun was gripped tightly in his hand. He only realized what he had done after he had done it.He was stripped of his badge and gun. He had no idea what to do with his life. He spent about a year wallowing in self-pity and wasting his savings on cheap booze and fast food. It was only after his father had visited him that he had an epiphany in the night. He would move to a new city, start a private detective agency, get off the booze and get in shape. It was as if an angel had been sent to him telling him to turn his life around. He did just as he thought. He stopped eating fast food and replaced the liquor with coffee along with spending the last of his savings on buying a building, decorating it and getting all the equipment he needed to start the agency. He has been doing this for a year or so now and is quite content with the money he is making.Personality: Frank acts as any detective should. He is calm headed and able to think on the spot if need be. That being said, he does have a few qualities not regularly found in detective stereotypes. While a detective may be thought of as a cool, silent badass who takes dames like he takes cigarettes, Frank is quite the opposite. He likes to talk quite often and would rather have one 'dame' than multiple. Along with this, he isn't too fond of smoking to be honest.Other:

Elizabeth Bishop 25 Female Elizabeth was born and raised in northern America, and was recruited into a certain criminal organization due to her latent powers and family connections. There, she learned the techniques necessary for her to become a world-class enforcer for the organization's needs. However, she never got a chance to put these abilities into use, as the organization was nearly annihilated by a certain group of "Heroes" around 8 years ago. Liz, along with the remnants of that organization, moved over to a different city in order to join up with a certain group of self-proclaimed "Villains". However, Liz's comrades were taken in by the police, and now she is stranded in New York with no real connections to the locals. Liz is the exact opposite of her ability, personality-wise. Careful, analytical and manipulative, she's the perfect kind of person for her chosen occupation, and she knows it. She's confident and in control, the type of person who gets annoyed when things don't go her way, but doesn't let it show. She can't stand people who go to extremes on the axis of good and evil, and gets along with folks who inhabit the grey area.
