Captain is about to respond when she hears a scream coming from the direction of the bank. She whips around and looks toward. "Looks like we'really late to the party," she says with a terrifying smile. She nods to Simon. "Get up there. The rest of you, follow me to the roof." ---- Leo hears the scream as well and swears under his breath. He whips around and grabs Josh. "Get your gear and get out here fast. NOW."

John sprinted towards the bank, stopping when he reached the side of the building. He focused on his feet and slowly he began floating up to the roof. He kept his eyes closed, intent on keeping himself floating. It was hard for him to levitate himself but he could do it, albeit very slowly and with a ton of concentration. Finally he reached the roof and he dropped onto it. He breathed heavily, waiting for the others.

Simon gave a smile and he blew another massive bubble of gum and quickly floated up into the air. He made the giant bubble fly towards the bank at a fairly quick rate. Simon was wondering how the civilians were in this whole mess, he hoped that none of them were killed. Once the bank came into sight, he made the bubble descend towards the ground and touched down making the bubble disappear. Simon heard the robber gives a shout. "OH SHIT! WE GOT A MASK HERE!" one of them shouted loudly and Simon smiled. "The Candy King is here bitches! And I brought sweets for everyone!" he called out and he made several python sized gummy worms smash through the windows and wrap around the robbers guns and ripped them out of their hands to protect the civilians from being hurt. He then created a dozen jawbreakers and had them fire off at the criminals as incredibly fast moving projectiles.

Captain runs toward the building. She slams the heel of her boot against the ground and spikes pop out of the bottom. She then taps a button on her gloves near her wrist. Climbing hooks pop out of her cloves and she leaps onto the building. Moving with as much skill as she has, she climbs up the side of the bank with ease, making sure to avoid windows from her being seen. She manages to make it to the top and she looks at John. She nods to him and walks over to one of the air vents. She begins to work on prying off the cover with the others begin to make their way up to the building.

And now there was candy.,someone flinging candy. Umi slid down the wall. Her scream died down, now she was silent and motionless. Darker thoughts began to fill her mind. Drive them all insane. Make them feel their worst nightmares. Make them leave. Make them stop. She began to giggle. Get away from the fear. It's all just a nightmare. Her giggle grew louder, still resembling that of a small child's. If your in a nightmare, then everyone else is too. Make them fear. Let your power loose. And so Umi released more of her power, trying to stop everything and everyone who was in the bank or would enter.

dark voices filled his mind. a lot of people are having a bad day. perhaps it is related that the robbery is already in progress. in that case it was time for him to make a entrance. he cant let candy have all the fun. the other psion flew up to the roof with a lot of forte, so its time for him to show that he cant be beaten by some little mind. ethereal ran towards the building, jumped, and lifted himself up the building. but unlike the other psion, he did not land. instead he found a spot where he could see into the bank, and extended his will towards the gummys that candy drooped. he the took them and strung them together into a spear, and shot it at one of the hostile minds. but what about the blackened??? he landed and extended his mind to the nearest one... and screamed.

They were at Josh's house. "You guys go I'll catch up" he said. He ran into the house and up the stairs. He burst into him room and pulled out a chest from underneath his bed. He opened it. Inside was a dark cloak and hood along with his bow and a quiver full of arrows. He ran out the house and slammed the door shut. He didn't bother locking it. He caught up with the group at the bank. _Fear_. He was scared. Terrified. He began hearing voices. **They hate me**. He put his hood up and drew bow. **They don't need me**. He quickly shot some guy charging at him in the leg. He blocked an attack with his bow and kicked him in the back of the leg, bringing him to his knees. He hits him on the back of his head with his bow. Someone throws a punch from behind him. He quickly ducks; the attackers arm going over him. **Kill them before they kill me**. He takes out a knife that was strapped to his leg, spins around and stabs the guy in the leg then punches him in the face. **They hate me. They fear me. They're useless! THEY'RE DEAD TO ME** He draws his bow again and takes aim at Leo. Josh was stuttering and his hands were shaking. He tried to ignore the voices, to fight them off. After what seemed like hours of fighting in his head took aim at a robber and shot him. --- Jayke shifts into a bird and flies up onto the rooftop where he then shifts back into himself. "Hate animals..." He muttured to himself. He stood by as Captain attempted to open the vent.

Leo nods at Josh's yell and runs into the bank. He begins to fight off the robbers as they run at him. He yanks off his Changer and becomes a turtle once more. He draws his katanas and begins to swing at the robbers, who now back off, stunned at his new form. Suddenly, darkness fills his mind and fear creeps into his thoughts. _You let them down_ **No!** he snarls in his mind before charging one of the robbers again. He swings at them, nearly missing the man's throat. He rolls and ducks as they draw guns on him and begin to shoot. He slices the tips off the top of their guns. _You're the reason they died. If only you had been faster._ the nagging voice in his head taunts him. **No, no, no!** He ducks and rolls again. **Focus on the fight, Leo. Focus on the fight** He turns to see Josh aiming at him. Leo freezes. "What are you doing, Reaper?!" he yells at him. He thinks of his own voice. "Snap out of it!" A minute later, Josh turns and shoots the other robber. Leo lets out a sigh of relief. What is going on? --- After minutes of pulling and yanking and clawing at the vent, Captain is finally able to get it completely off. She looks down and sees that it's a straight drop down into the center floor. Though there is a grate blocking the entrance down into the floor. She turns and looks at the others. "Follow me--" Suddenly, Ethereal screams and Captain whips around to look at him. She can't think about that now. She can't. She leaps down into the duct and begins to kick at the grate below it. She manages to knock it loose and she falls through, landing easily on her feet. She rolls and begins to jump in with the fighting, but it isn't long before fear creeps into her mind as well. _You faker. You poser. What if they figure out what your powers are? Who you really are?_ **Stop it,** she growls at herself. **Focus** She begins to slash at the robbers with her knives and the fighting continues.

Jayke jumps down. He thinks of the organisms he's came into contact within the past 5 hours. Captain: her skills would be useful. A cat: not so much. A dog. A German Shepard in fact. _Perfect_ **Is it really champ? Is it really perfect?** Jayke shook it off as he shifted into a dog. Shifting is unpleasant in itself. But shifting into an animal? Even less so. He charged at an attacker and bit into his throat; taking him down to the floor. He got off him and looked at the fight happening around him, blood dripping from his teeth. Which tasted horrible by the way...

Simon ensared a guy with a large green apple flavored sour belt and then swung out with a massive candy cane to whack a robber in the face. He then took out his candy sword and began slashing at the robbers who tried to come at him with knives. Even though he was an expert at sword fighting, Simon did manage to take out a couple of robbers before he had to resort to his candy manipulation. He created a huge wad of chewing gum and shot it at the robbers, causing all of them to become stuck in the gooey mess. It was then that he began to hear voices in his head. **you will never be a hero because you're too immature, your powers are dumb and never help people. if you were a true hero then those people wouldn't have died when you tried to stop that shooting** No he wouldn't let this voice mess with his head and focused on the battle. He made a massive amount of skittles appear on the floor and several robbers slipped on the small candies and fell onto the ground in complete shock.

Jayke ran and jumped at an attacker. However, in mid jump he reverted back to himself. It must have been five ours. He hit the guy and fell to the ground. The guy advanced towards him and was now leaning over him. Any minute now and Jayke would be dead. An arrow hit the guy in the side of the head. He fell forwards and Jayke managed to roll out just in time. He got up and put his hand on Josh's shoulder. "Thanks" he said. --- Josh ripped Jaykes hand from his shoulder. He was angry. No, furious. Yet he didnt know why. He felt a mix of emotions. Rage, fear, paranoia. All of them being thrown about his head at the same time. **Don't save them. They hate on me. They lied to me.** He twitched as he struggled to control himself and his thoughts. He shot an arrow past Jaykes head into an attacker behind him. "Get the civilians out of here" he said to Jayke. He nodded and started helping people out as Josh gave him cover. He watched their faces. Fear. Not only fear but disgust. _They think we're freaks_ **They hate on me** He watched his teammates. This wasn't supposed to happen. A simple meet it was. For _heroes_ to come together. No one said anything about a bank robbery. And then the way Leo acted towards him because he didn't expect any of this. **They lied to me. They hate on me.** **They're using me.** **They're dead to me.**

Captain whirls around, dodging another blow. She ducks under a guy's leg and suddenly, she slips and falls to the ground. The guy looms over her and she kicks up hard, flinging him over her. She rolls back to her feet and sees a robber advancing on Josh. "Josh, heads up!" she yells, and whips one of her knives at the robber. It nails him right through the shoulder. Captain immediately runs over and slices the man's through. She grabs Josh's shoulders and forces him to look at her. "Josh, are you okay? Josh, look at me." She hears that voice in her head again. _You will never be a good leader. They don't know anything about you. How can they trust you?_ She shakes her head but then realizes what Josh is going through. She stares at him. "Josh, look at me. Whatever is saying those things in your head, it isn't real. Please, realize this. They aren't real."

Josh was slightly dazed and confused. Everything seemed to be coming at him at once. He made out enough words to understand what she was saying though. He gave a little nod and a smile. He quickly moved the captain aside as someone attempted to stab her in the back with a sword. A sword? Who the hell brings a sword to a bank robbery? He hit the sword out of his hands with his bow. (It's a metal one) --- Jayke managed to get all the civilians out. **Do you even remember? Why your dad was so _unfit_ to care for you? Or are you too traumatised?**

Umi shakily stood up, laughing. There was chaos everywhere. Everyone felt the fear and uncertainty that she felt. Umi flipped her black hood up, hiding her face. She couldn't stop laughing. She was afraid. She was proud. Scared. Happy. Angry. Mad. Terrified. Which emotions were the right ones to feel. She walked out of the bank, following the civilians. There were people fighting the robbers. Umi lifted her power form some of the civilians and focused it on the heroes who were fighting. Se tried to make them see things. Not only hear things but see things too. Let them be enveloped in their fear.

Captain thanks Josh and turns around to fight, but suddenly she freezes in her tracks. In front of her she sees a young boy, no older than ten. He smiles at her and in her head she hears _You remember him, don't you. You remember your brother. And you remember what happened to him._ **Get out of my head** she says in her mind. But the voice keeps going. Unnoticeable to anyone else, a small silver sheen begins to shine around Captain. _He died. And it's your fault. All yours. If the others knew that, would they stay with you?_ **Stop it** The boy smiles and laughs, as if he is happy at her pain and fear. _You killed him. You alone. Because you couldn't control it. You murderer..._ "Stop!" she screams and suddenly, that silver sheen grows and shoots out around her. The force field knocks down the robbers around her and maybe some of the heroes, but she doesn't see. All she knows is because he was standing so close to her, Josh wasn't knocked down. She falls to her knees, shaking. ---- Leo had also been paused in the fighting. His brothers stand before him, asking him why he let them die. He grits his teeth when suddenly he's knocked off his feet by a force field blow from the side. He falls to the ground and the images of his brothers disappears from his eyes. He turns to see Captain on the ground, shaking.

Josh places his hands softly on her shoulder. "They're not real, remember?" He said calmly. He heard someone calling his name. He knew who it was. A girl. He didn't turn. He kept focused on Captain who was shaking terribly. **"I miss you. Mum says you're too dangerous for us. Too dangerous for me"** "Listen, I know what's happening. You're seeing things right? I am too. And I'm sorry for whatever it is, I truly am." He said. **She doesn't want my sympathy! She HATES me!** Josh shook his head. "But right now, we have to fight"

Captain blinks slowly, listening to Josh's words. She nods slowly and climbs to her feet. She needs to be strong. She needs to be what her name implies. A Captain. She takes a deep breath and says, "I'm fine." She shakes off the fear and turns it into anger. She pulls off her sunglasses and her eyes are now flaming red. She looks at Josh. "Let's finish this."

Josh nods with a smile. He draws his bow again and turns his back to Captain. He fires. The arrow shootingf straight through the girl. The girl faded and the arrow hit a robber in the leg. Josh runs up to his and knees him in the face. He looked back at captain to see how she was doing.

Umi was shocked. It seemed that some of the heroes were fighting off her nightmares. She would have to do some training. Would the heroes come after her. Would they attack the robbers. Would they help the civilians. What would the heroes do once they escaped their nightmares. Would Umi be caught. Would there be blood. What would happen?

(You sound like someone at the end of a TV show. Next time on United) Jayke was seeing things all over. Horrible things he'd seen in the past. See with a power like his, you tend to spy. And sometimes you find out and see things that were probably best left unknown
