New York City… One of the places that is filled with the most evil, most sinister villains on the whole Earth. The evil has continued to grow, and the heroes in New York have been dwindling slowly. In a last ditch attempt to save the city, superheroes and mutants from all across the state have gathered together in New York City itself to fight off the overpowering evil. Will they be able to work together or will they tear each other to shreds before the end? Will they triumph? Or will they fall?
The Rules!
1. You do have superpowers, but please, NO god modding. Superheroes are technically human too.
2. And on that note, you’re superhero must have a weakness, whether you choose one from a comic book or from a television show. They may not look like they have one, but they do.
3. Whatever I say, goes. Please do not argue with me.
4. PG-13 ONLY. I will allow romance, but no adult rated stuff guys. And keep the gore to a minimum
5. To prove you read the rules, put “United” down at the bottom of your CS
6. Feel free to throw out ideas
7. I will allow anyone up to two characters. If we need villains, this rule will be bent.

Equipment (Doesn’t have to be weapons): He uses katanas as his weapons. He also uses a Changer to make himself look human when he needs to. The problem with the Changer is that he isn’t as fast or as skilled in his human form as he is in his turtle form.
Personality: Leonardo is very kind and caring especially toward his team and family. He can be a bit timid at time when giving orders, but he is a natural born leader. He wants to improve himself as much as he can, and he is very hard on himself when he fails.
Weakness: Leonardo is scared of letting his team down and thus, letting the people who depend on him down.
History: Leonardo was originally a normal turtle. He was the childhood pet of a little kid in Manhattan, along with his three other brothers. A fire broke out in the house and the child ran back inside to save his pet turtles. But when the child lost everything in the fire, he set the turtles near a drain pipe and the turtles fell into the sewer, falling into a strange green goo called mutagen. They began to change and they grew to human sizes and human proportions. They began walking on two legs and fighting.

(I will change this is anyone wants to be Michelangelo or Donatello or Raphael) Leonardo lost three of his family members when the rise in crime began and now he searches for a new team so he can avenge their deaths.

History: Jayke grew up tough. He lived with his mum up until he was 14 where he then went to live with his dad after being kicked out of hjos mums house. After a while at his dads social services decided he was unfit to care for a child. He was then moved to a foster home where he has loved since.

Skills/Powers: Ruby has the power to turn into a black cat at will, which allows her to be able to look innocent and therefore get out of trouble (unless, of course, someone already knows that she can turn into her cat form). Ruby's normal form is fully human apart from a pair of black cat ears upon her head and a black cat tail at her extreme-lower back. Other than turning into a cat, Ruby has great agility, being able to jump up to high places, or climb if she is up to it.

Equipment (Doesn’t have to be weapons): Ruby does not have anything except a sharp knife, however she is trained in basic firearms.

Personality: Ruby's personality is rather catlike, purring at people she likes, hissing at those she dislikes. Upon first meeting someone, she will react with caution and often will attempt to make them feel fearful and leave, will turn into a cat (if she isn't already one) and hide, or she will be a cat and just act like a cat would, giving the intruders nothing to be curious about and therefore let them leave on their own.
When she develops a friendship, she will start to care more for her friends, however she will still react a bit harsh or upset if someone makes a joke that she doesn't like, even if it is just intended to be a joke.
Ruby dislikes to be reminded of how she was cast out by her creators.

Weakness: Ruby has a few weaknesses. Firstly, she is terrified of water, even if she is crossing something like a bridge. If she is splashed with water, she would probably faint. Her second weakness is that she will fall for anyone who tries to play with her with a cat-toy. Laser pens work the best, however she will fall for other things as well, the least efficient being toy mice. However, this second weakness depends on her mood. Her third and final weakness is that she will do almost anything for fish, even if that is betraying her friends, or even spying on them for the enemy.

History: Ruby was genetically made in a lab, bred to be a spy for the military that could slip into an enemy's territory and snoop around. She began to be trained when she was four, however at the age of eight she began to develop something that her creators did not anticipate, and that was the fast growth of a cat tail and cat ears. After a lot of discussion, the military and scientists realized that she could no longer be trained as the tail and ears would be easy to spot in a disguise. They threw her out, and she was left an 'orphan'. After a long while of travelling, using the wild for food and water, she made it to New York city, where she took residence in an alleyway.

The Cyn can copy any movement/action after seeing it performed once, including acrobatics, martial arts, and other physical stunts. With this ability she can become a master at what she does, by combining several forms and movements in rhythmic motions instead of using the same thing over.

Cyn can copy how a person aims, giving her incredible marksmanship, though if she wanted to use certain weapons she would have to watch a person fire that weapon to be able to copy it. Such as how to fire a rifle as opposed to how to fire a bow, or how to throw knives or darts.

The Cyn can precisely control her movements and muscles, making her unable to be clumsy or fumbling. She can slip through a network of lasers, reach through dangerous narrow tunnels, keep perfect balance, or juggle effortlessly without ever tripping or wobbling. Cyn can even move her fingers or toes effortlessly, with tendon strain no longer being a problem.

Cyn can only fall over when physically uprooted or pushed, though most times she can land on her feet. She can stand up right on even the most unstable of surfaces, such as a moving vehicle, a collapsing building, or an earthquake. She is also are able to regain her balance or bounce back to her feet quickly and perform feats such as shooting a gun, throwing a knife, or fighting at seemingly impossible angles and positions.

Cyn is at the peak of physical and/or mental condition a person can achieve without any super-/unnatural methods, she is able to match or exceed the performance of olympic athletes.

Equipment: Cyn carries a wide variety of weapons and objects that while ordinary can become weapons in her expert hands. Her most common weapons are as follows:
1-Collapsible 5 ft fighting staff (18 inches collapsed and made of titanium aluminum alloy) carried on her right hip.
16-1/2 ounce steel balls in belt pouch
2-Tonfa (high density Polyethylene) in thigh sheath

Personality: Calm and well mannered Cyn seems always under control and at first aloof but once she knows those she is around she reveals a wicked sense of humor.

Weakness: Cyn is unable to pass up a chance to open any closed box, door or press mysterious buttons

History: Cynthia was born and raised in Manhattan's Chinatown in a household containing her parents and both sets of grandparents. Sent to a private school in the upper eastside Cynthia lived what many consider a normal life.

Her life changed when Cynthia turned 13 while vacationing with her family in California. They were staying at the Yún Family's compound in Malibu with the rest of the extended Yún family. It was while playing with her cousins that her older cousin Jon (16) was demonstrating his skills in Wing Chun and he challenged her to do the same things he'd just done. Kwan as she's called among her family asked to see him perform his kata again as she watched intently. After her cousin Jon finished Cyn stepped up and performed almost flawlessly the moves he'd made.

Some of the older members of the family saw her perform and soon she found herself before Uncle Sang the patriarch of the family. He asked her to show him what the others had seen her do and as an obedient child she did as he asked.

Uncle Sang was delighted by what he saw and asked her parents to allow her to stay in California where he would see to her education and training. Cyn's parents were at first reluctant to part with their daughter but conceded to Uncle Sang in respect of his position in the family.

Cyn was nervous in uncle's presence at first as she'd always thought of him as the embodiment of a Dragon. Uncle Sang proved that though he was demanding of those members of the family he took interest in he was as well a kind an doting uncle as well if you pleased him.

Cyn soon became his favorite student as she quickly excelled at any physical task he assigned her, performing flawlessly all her forms she became a Master of the family style at 16. It was while training and attending tournaments in California's martial arts community that Cyn discovered that she could perform any form she saw after observing it only once.

Uncle Sang only allowed her to enter the various forms competitions because as an old fashioned man he believed the idea of women in public fights was vulgar. Cyn knowing that trying to change her uncle's mind was to move a mountain kept any disagreement to herself and did as he said.

At age 17 Cyn asked her Uncle if she could return to New York to live with her family once more to which he agreed. He told her that he was proud of her and that he knew that she would continue to make him proud.
Cyn moved back into New York where her family there welcomed her with tears an a party.

Cyn then enrolled in NYU taking business courses so that she could join the family business of Import&Export.

It was during her first year back that Cyn saw a group of students at her collage engaged in the art of Parkor (Free running) Cyn fell in love with the urban sport an was soon one of her groups most skilled traceuse (female practitioner). It was a wonderful way for her to expend the excess energy she always felt overflowing her body.

Graduating with a degree in business management Cyn went to work for the family business as a manager's assistant under her Cousin William at a dock side warehouse. She did her job as expected for six months and would have most likely been nothing more than an office worker for the rest of her life if not for fate.

While working late one night trying to complete an inventory Cyn heard shouting in the Warehouse though it should have been empty that night. So she went to investigate what was going on. She soon found the source of the shouting, it was her cousin William arguing with a man who seemed to be in charge of a group of six men who were in the process of loading a truck.. William was telling the smug man that he was taking too much and the man laughed an then back handed william sending him to the ground.

Cyn stepped out telling the man to get out of the warehouse which only made the thug grin as he walked towards her drawing a long knife. What happened next changed her goals as Cyn first defeated the leader then the men under him, cyn had never felt so alive.

From that day she couldn't sit idle as criminals tried to claim the city she'd grown up in.

Skills/Powers: Meta has the ability to manipulate and shape metal at his will. Unfortunately, He cannot manipulate metal that is brittle, molten of rusted. He can only manipulate if he is in a place with metal, he can only manipulate metal from existing sources.

Equipment: Nothing but the world around him. But does have his small gold chained necklace that he wears all the time, and keeps a key to his dad's old wielding shops.

Personality: Meta is a lazy and unenthusiastic man who spends much of his time asleep, and no one appears to try and stop him from doing so.Despite being a supposed hero, he is not eager to take that role, allowing other heros to take the spotlight. He is not particularly interested in whatever is going on around him, though he is observant and a capable analyst. Unlike many of the heros or villains, he is not inherently violent or overly arrogant.

Weakness: As what was mentioned before, Meta cannot use metal if there is not a source of it in order to use, so Alex must be in an area were metal is abundant in order to use his powers. If not, he will be powerless.

History: Meta was born into an immigrant wielding family and at a young age was though how to work with metal. Although He was to young to realize it, his knowledge about metal would eventually, lead him to become what he was now, the famous Meta, a supposed super-powered crime fighter. But he only uses that a shield to hid behind, to keep people from finding out what he truly is... a nobody. His family abandoned him once they found out about his parents, and immediately sent him to and orphanage. He was never taken and ended up living the last year's of his childhood in an orphanage. One he was 18, he was let out and shoved rudely into the harsh would. Meta had seen the hard lives people were living due to the criminals running all around his home. So Meta took it upon him self you help protect the city, when he felt like it.

Well working on my magneto esque character I mentioned before.

Name: Richard Dontez
Alias: Storm Cloud

Skills/Powers:

Thunder Strike

Dontez holds two fingers out like a gun and shoots target with lighting. He can produce lighting from almost anywhere on his body, but he thinks this looks the coolest. Though it is powerful in its own right, it can easily be blocked by someone who is protected correctly.

Magnetism

Dontez can force two metals to become stuck together, or force them to push each other away. He normally does this with guns making them jam or simply explode in some sense. He was also done this with machines. After he was magnetized them he cannot completely control them anymore.

electric fitness

though Dontez is already physically fit, his powers force electricity through his muscles almost constantly making him move like lighting, and be just as strong. He is also able to react to what is going on around him faster.

Thunder clap

Dontez forces his body into a complete overdrive. Allowing him to move fast enough to break through the sound barrier. Though doing this puts his life in danger. Since he has recently discovered this ability he does not control it completely. If he uses this move for to long it could kill him or bring him close to death.

hand to hand, weapon skills

when Dontez has ether been drained or cannot use his powers he falls back on his hand to hand skills. Knows how to use must melee weapons and while he is no master he can hold himself in a fight.

Equipment (Doesn’t have to be weapons): A blue and black katana (was a "gift" from the person who gave him his powers) a special suit that doesn't break down when he uses his powers (another "gift")
Personality:Dontez tends to be a calm person. He sometimes seems to be a bit of a loner, but who likes to hang out with a guy carrying a katana and who shoots lighting out of his hands. In the end he has a small feeling of wanting to belong.

Weakness:Dontez has a weakness to water, strong conductors, rubber. Bodies of water hurts him, the conductors drain him, and rubber blocks him. Though he can survive in water by draining himself of his powers, or using his thunder clap to simply move over it.
History:Dontez was an orphan at the Lucky's little hope oceanarium. He had never know who his parents were; he only heard rumors that they had been killed trying to take down an evil corporation. Apparently they had super powers, but the corporation had outsmarted them.
Like all of the other children there he had abilities that were out of the normal, and thus they had to be tested on. A group of scientists had decided they would make their own personal army by molding these children to obey their command. Dontez was 13 at the time. To them he was an interesting specimen. He always found the new tests they had made for him fun. Dontez loved them, but that was because he wasn't being punished for complaining about them. He saw every test has a game, and the scientists were referees. Eventually they rewarded him with a special suit that wouldn't break apart when he was using his powers, and a nickname: Storm Cloud

The games continued to be fun until he came to the age of 16. He started to notice that things weren't was happy as he thought. The scientists had kept the orphans separate until now. They began trying to build teams, and he began to see how they treated others. All of the others wear shock collars except for Dontez, he had a special one that would drain him of his abilities if activated. After some time and a lot of convincing Dontez agreed to help them riot, and free everyone.

The plan was to get enough of the shock collars to go off while he tried to absorb it to overload his collar. An award for being appointed leader." Dontez shook his head and attacked him. A single blot of lighting was caught by the blade, and electrocuted the scientist.

Many have died in that building. Those who lived went their own ways. Dontez took the sword waited for everyone to leave the building then began trying to destroy it. Several others helped him including some of the staff. After that he picked a direction and started walking.

Alias: Ferrous ( ( However he rarely uses it. ))

Gender: Male

Skills/Powers: He can manipulate Ferrous metals "Iron metal's" with hsi control over magnetic fields. He can float in the air if there is a lot of metals for him to fly off. He can use his magnet fields to manipulate his gadgets.

Master Manipulator: It is not a super power however he seems to know how to manipulate the weak of mind to his side just by talking to them and offering their hearts desire.

Decent fighter: He has no super strength but he clearly has been trained to fight by someone.

Equipment (Doesn’t have to be weapons):He does not have any but he does seem to have a few iron bullets that he uses to fight. He wears a metal mask to block his face.

Personality: He is always looking out for number one. He has to or he would get eaten by the dogs of his station. He is polite and rather sauce when he needs to. Will is always trying to keep his plans going. He walks the line of good and evil.

Weakness: A lack of iron like metals. With out iron he is useless. So modern skyscrapers are difficult for him to manipulate. He also loses his temper quickly.

History: Will was born to a pair of society loving parents. The Masters had lived in the upper East side for years and had made their money in Iron and steel. They cared more for parties than their own son, so Will was raised by nannies or his grandfather. The old patriarch seemed to have taken a liking to the boy, since he reminded of the old man of himself. The boy was cold and intelligent. Far more than his father. He taught Will most of his values such as people are to be used for your own use. Never as friends. When Jake was eighteen his grandfather died of a heart attack. His family expected that Will's father would be named the heir. However the Will of Thomas Masters named his twenty year old grandson the sole heir and appointed his butler as guardian of the boy's fortune. Will was given everything and it pissed his parents off. They cut ties with him but the butler stepped in as the boy's friend.

The old butler Reynolds taught Will the other lessons, such as fighting and how to manipulate others. When Will was fourteen, he began to notice metal acted strange around him. It began to jump and shake. Now that he was twenty years old, he could better control his powers and use them to right the wrongs his Grandfather had told him whilst on his death bed.

Will now tries to protect from the shadows while pretending he is like his fellows.

Personality:John is self preserving, sarcastic little rat. Or at least that's how most would describe him. To his friends however, he's a loyal, sarcastic little shit. John is the kind of guy who will betray you for a couple of bucks, unless of course you've grown to become his friends. Which is a notable task since the sarcasm is used to keep most people out of his life. Besides that, he's smart and resourceful, always prepared for the worst case scenario.

Weakness: John's weaknesses are few and far between.First off he's terrified of spiders. From big to small, if you drop one near him, you can be pretty sure that he won't be moving. He's also very loyal to his friends and will sacrifice himself to save them, even if that means pain and suffering for himself. In the powers department he cant lift anything much heavier than a car, and even then he can't lift it that high.

History: John was born in California to two loving parents. He learned to walk and talk in the comfort of a two story home in the suburbs of Sacramento. Until one day, his mother found him levitating all the furniture in the living room. From then on, things were different. His parents loved him but he saw the fear in their eyes. And then, four years ago he got into a fight with his parents that resulted in his father being thrown into a wall by his telekinesis. John ran far and fast. He hasn't been back since. Candy manipulation: Simon has the ability to create and control candy of any kind, he can even change their size and power depending on how much energy he puts into it. He normally uses specific kinds of candy for specific situations, if he needs to restrain an enemy then he will create giant lickerish or gummy worms to ensnare them or have them stuck by large amounts of gooey chewing gum. For offensive attacks he uses hard candy of varying size depending on how he wants to attack. He can fly by creating a giant floating bubble of gum which he can hang on to as he wills it to where he wants to go.

Equipment: he has a sword that has blade made of lollipop that he creates using his power. Simon also has a whip made of gummy candy and sharp disks made of hard candy. His weapons' strength is determined by how power he puts into.

Personality: Simon is funny and has a carefree personality. He is full of fun and tries to be nice to people he believes deserve it. Simon hates people who hurt the innocent and will take it to the bad guys hard if they begin killing people. He loves candy and was incredibly happy when his powers developed and he could create and manipulate candy.

Weakness: vegetables are like his kryptonite, although it doesn't physically weaken him it will temporarily take away his powers if he is close vicinity of for too long. Using his abilities requires energy and if he uses them for too long then he will begin to feel fatigue.

History: Simon Strange was born in the Bronx borough of New York and from the day he could, he always loved candy. His parents tried to get him to eat proper food, but it was hard and he always had a secret stash of candy. Eventually he was in school and a lot of kids thought of his antics are being weird and he would sometimes get picked on. But he always tried to keep a positive personality. He fell in love with the movie Willy Wonka and The Chocolate Factory, and had dreams of being a candyman in his own right. His dream came true when his powers manifested and he could create and manipulate candy. He wondered what he would do with his powers and that's when he got the idea to become a superhero. He made his costume and named himself Candy King. He now is fighting crime in the city and trying to keep the innocent safe.

Appearance: He is five feet and nine inches tall with bright red hair. His costume is a green long-sleeved shirt and blue pants. He has hard candy plated armor that has on his upper torso. on the chest of his armor is the picture of a red lollipop with the letters 'CK' in the circle. Simon also wears a a red cape with 'CK' on it in golden yellow. CK is the initials for Candy King.
