Makoto was glad that she was grouped with Phoebe but she hadn't had much time to practice her powers. She could really hurt someone and she didn't want it to be her teacher or her teammates. She began to try to think though strategies where she could help her team even with the little knowledge of her powers that she had. Makoto really didn't want to use her powers but for this class it looked like she'd have to. She settled on the idea that she will fight like its a normal fist fight first and see how that goes. "Should we make up a strategy?" She asked her teammates.

He got to working on making a solid construct for the class. He looked over at Katherine and walked over to her. " Hey you have experience with ice right?" Katherin laughed. She wasn't sure if Flood was serious or not. With Flood one never knew. He was worse than Mimic when it came to predictability. "Yes Flood. I have a lot of experince with ice. I would love to help you after class."

He said with his emotionless sounding voice studying her still and wondered what her power was.Another note he made was would she be a annoyance or someone interesting although he didn't care either way.

Phoebe, Makoto, Devika, and Zack/Griffin, Team three" > > Checking that that was all of them that was in the room, Mimic continued, "One team at a time, you'll fight me. Lets see how you can do" > > ---- Griffin was familiar with Phoebe and had no problems with her. But Devika could be a problem. The empath rubbed his skin the wrong way. He was sure it had something to do with her powers. But whatever it was it distracted him and pulled on his animal nature.

A team match huh? That was a bit different than what was usually done as she recalled. This was actually something she'd hoped to do as well. No reason it couldn't be done again. But she was going to have to be careful how she approached this. Her attention being pulled away Kagerou looked at Nicholas. "Hello again. So what are we up against if it's all of us against him?" She glanced at Mimic for a moment.

"No it will be a match between the different groups...we should be careful of Devika and Phoebe since Devika when touching your bare skin will flood her emotions into you for example if angry you will be done in seconds.Phoebe she can summon plants so i would be careful around her..." Nicholas said looking at the different groups but was being watched by Reinhardt.

Phoebe smiled at Makoto, glad she could be paired with the new student. ""If you don't want to use your powers, you don't have to, but I'm pretty sure Mimic will use them, so...what arae they?" She asked gently, "So we can be prepared, just in case?" She said, looking about, "here, I'll introduce you to the others" She said, "That's Zack, or Griffin, I can never tell. They are quite unique. And devika's an Empath. I don't know if she has any other abilities" Kalinda didn't particularly care about being put in teams, and figured she would just have to put up with those she was in. It would be fun, to take Mimic down though, she thought. She looked about for those she was paired up with, but made no effort to join them

One of them clearly did not hear things right. "No... I'm pretty sure he said we would be fighting him." Kagerou said as a matter of fact tone. "Unless I'm crazy. That's always a possibility."

Kat had followed the group into the new room and listened as Mimic explained the task. She smiled as he said they would be going against him; any chance to land a hit on him would always be appreciated. Unfortunately for the cause this was a team exercise so she took note of her fellow members and searched for where they congregated. She walked over as Phoebe was finishing introducing the rest to Makoto. "And I'm.. well, you can call me Kat." Now didn't seem the best time for the full introduction, instead flashing a charming smile.

"Wow, you all sound so talented. It's nice to meet you all." Makoto said, kind of in awe. After saying a meek hello to Kat, Makoto began to explain her powers. She was going to have to face them at some point, it may as well be now despite how it made her feel. Makoto took a deep breath and with a shaky voice she tried to explain what happened to her. "All I really know is that the air feels different, charged almost. It makes crackly noises and static shocks happen right before your eyes. I also seem to make people's hair stand on end. I think my power may be Static Electricity." She finished. Makoto hoped that it was a sufficient explanation. It was all she could muster in her current state and in the current situation. "I-i could maybe try to use it, I really don't think that's' a good idea. I really have no clue or control..." Makoto continued, defending her resistance to using her powers.

I would love to help you after class." "Thanks." He replied as he walked towards Nicholas. "I suggest you make use of your various fear toxins while I provide ranged support for Jack and Kagerou. Is everyone okay with that? Actually, what are your powers Kagerou? I would like to know so I can efficiently plan." His eyes had taken on a hardened tone, one only seen in experienced fighters.

Devika waved a bit when she was introduced, but she was not at all looking forward to this. Like someone had so adroitly stated, she was an empath and not much more. As Flood started to plan, she stayed quiet, already on edge from being near people. Flood's presence was one thing, but then she could feel Griffin/Zack bristling at her. And then there was Kat. She hadn't had much experience with the Asgardian, but the girl's smile alone mad her shivery inside. "I..." She cleared her throat and tried more clearly. "I took Mimic down once, but... I don't know if it would work a second time."

"If i could get close enough and spray his face with my gas it could be enough for you two to take him down,But that might not be so easy perhaps i could used my new found powers to trap or to bring him closer for us to attack him.." Nicholas said looking around the room at the others making mental notes to himself. Meanwhile Reinhardt along with his group were planning something and he was quite surprised how interesting his group was it would make for something he has planned later on.

This all was going to be very interesting for Kagerou. She hadn't done much fighting in a while, having taken a hiatus for a couple decades. Making note of everyone's powers there were a few that sounded a bit new to her. There has been a huge explosion of abilities over the last hundred years and it only got more diverse. When she was asked about her powers Kagerou smiles shyly. "Um, I have super strength, telekinesis, and regeneration. I can use the first two pretty well I think. The other one just works."

Phoebe listened as Makato explained her abilities. As Makato seemed to become nervous, Phoebe gave her a hug. "Don't worry. If you don't want to use them, that's okay. You don't have to. It's your first day, after all" She smiled, and looked around at the group. Zack/Grifin, Devika and Makato. she could tell that there was some stiffiness between Zack/grifin and devika. She didn't know what it was about, and felt like it was impolite to ask. She hadn't exactly been friendly with Devika either, remembering the one attempt at trying to make friends with her, Phoebe had somehow bungled it. "I was told about that" She said in response to the taking mimic down comment, "But I wasn't here at that time. I can imagine what happened, though. He probably has a defense for that now" She mused. "We will start with Team three. Step uP" Mimic said, breaking into what Phoebe had been saying. "Well. Let's do a good job" Phoebe said

Makoto smiled when Phoebe, in such a caring manner, gave her a hug. It definitely helped her feel more at ease, and it confirmed that she had at least one new friend. Makoto decided she would try her best, even if it was not to the same skill as the rest of her group. She took a position on the far right of the group. It would be easy for her to fade into the background a bit that way and maybe sort out a kind of strike that she could make. She did want to contribute to the group, despite her hesitancy/fear to use her powers.

"Griffin." the introduction was given gruffly. But Zack was the people person not him. He studied the new girl. Her powers seemed less than helpful. "We can manipulate light. We might be able to blind him temperarily. We have gotten better at creating bands of light that should be Ble to contain him briefly. Our light weapons are iffy. Sometimes they work. Others they do not. We would rather not use them in battle. However we have a excellent shield that we can create around the group or an indivual as needed."

"Great. Let's get started then" Phoebe said, vines forming across her body so that she could use them quickly. She always figured that she had a disadvantage with Mimic, as surely throughout the years he had encounter her mother, and therefore knew her powers. But Phoebe just wasn't her mother. She had her own abilities, and her own ways. She turned to Mimic, who appeared ready. "We all ready?"

Estella kind of felt a little awkward seeing as none on her team joined her. It sounded like another team was going to go to first anyway. Taking a seat she looked around to try and identify her other teammates.
