I've added announcements to the IC section! Should be the second post. I thought I would just edit what had been there originally since it had nothing to do with the actually story. As you can see, I've included an annual bonfire in there which is against the made up Westfield Prep (rival school, obviously.) In the announcements, I just included sports related things. I wanted to ask you all what other sorts of school activities you might want to be included. What kinds of clubs or teams? I'm open to anything since this is supposed to be pretty character driven with a main plot included. I am open to anything! Also, I will be adding my second character's first IC post shortly. > What day of the week/what time of day is this starting at? (meaning would they have classes today - so i know if they'd actually be able to get to the lake or not) Sorry, didn't see this earlier! I included the starting day on the second post in the IC section. At this point in time, your character can be at any time of the day (morning or afternoon, doesn't matter.) Only when important events happen will we need all the characters to be at the same time of the day. And I should mention as well that students can go to the lake any time of the day after classes end at 3 PM, as long as they either have supervision, or permission (as in a written slip that must be signed before they leave and as soon as they come back)

My character Lydia would most likely be in band, probably a flute player. I agree with Liriia on the musical club though! Also, would it be okay for me to add a NPC? As a roommate for Lydia? Do I need to fill out a character sheet for that?

Ash would be in Music for singing. Amy would probably join a language club or something, but she is not musically inclined.

She's flexible with singing (mezzo-soprano level, though she hasnt had singing lessons for a few years now so shes a bit untrained) and instruments (being able to play guitar, piano, clarinet, sax, and most percussion instruments ((if you couldnt tell shes kind of a music prodigy, main reason for her acceptance into northwood)), but due to her anxiety she may stay behind the scenes, writing music or conducting unless a certain instrument is needed.

@Liriia we also have a Music teacher, so that'd help a lot.

Well Northwood would already have a band since it's like a very prestigious preparatory school. So there would be a band class plus a choir and the band would include like the pep band for like sports games and what not. But a music club could be separate from the band I suppose. Like it would focus on both singing and instrumental type of music?

I should have assumed the school had a band pfft, maybe I was just thinking that Northwood had a choir and an orchestra only. But yeah, I'm assuming it would be a gathering for music-oriented kids to hang out and perhaps set up some fun things to do, and there would obviously be times when they would preform at an open mic or something as a band that incorporates singing and instruments.
