Makoto watched Mimic toy with her ability. She could do _that_? In time maybe she wouldn't nearly have that kind of control right now. "Uh oh..." Makoto breathed, wishing she could do the same. It occurred to her that maybe she could, Mimic was a teacher after all. She stood tall like he was and held her hands in the same position he did. Breathing carefully she tried to focus her ability, the tingling into the same form he was. In her own area small sparks began to jump form place to place across her body, seemingly having no effect on her. The tingling sensation spread across her body once more. "I don't know how much I can do but maybe I can help." Makoto said, her speech directed at Phoebe. She rushed at Mimic, straight on. He he was as cocky as her classmates had made her out to be his focus would be drawn to eliminating an obvious threat. She held her hands open, obviously going in for a palm strike or two.

So, Phoebe wanted a way in. Seeing Makoto begin to rush Mimic Kat quickly positioned herself on his opposite side. It was not beyond him to defend himself from both - in fact she expected it - but it would be enough to distract him from the third attack... she hoped. She held her hands before her, magic smoking and flickering around her fingertips. The power he played with gave her pause; magic could be a fickle and volatile thing and there was nothing to say its reaction with this electricity would be good for anyone. Then again, he was the teacher and the blame would have to ultimately fall with him. And then two streams of magic began to head towards him, spiraling and snaking about the other, merging at the tip as they aimed for his chest.

Griffin's mind shut down. Despite being made of light and the fact that he could still hear his classmates, the box was too much like his and Zack's time out box. A place he detested because it reminded him too much of the small dark room they had been held in during their kidnapping. With no one in charge of the mind the boys' body dropped with a loud thud. Inside their mind was choas. Both of them panicking. Zack was panicking because he had no idea what was happening but he knew something was wrong. Griffin's panick was more animalistic. He was like a trapped animal.

Mimic could have defended against the onslaught of attacks easily enough, if Griffin hadn't practically dropped like a stone. he paused for a few seconds, dropping the light box on a curse. And still, he defended against the magical attack from Kat, defended against the electrical attack from Makoto, but wasn't quite quick enough as Phoebe darted in, what appeared to be a flower in her hands. "You made a mistake" She said almost cheerfully, the plant was a natural, and quite potent, sleep inducer. "You can't copy the natural immunity I have, because it's in my genes. Powers, yes, immunity no" Perhaps it was the combination of attacks, or perhaps Mimic had simple reached his limit, but he stumbled back, away, flinging the flower away, but the damage was done.

Devika, who had gotten well out of the way once she realized that she'd failed, was startled when Griffin dropped suddenly. She was terrified that he was dead, and quickly pulled her gloves back on. He could be angry at her later. She got her arms under his shoulders and slowly pulled him out of harm's way. "Come on, big fella." She could feel that something was extremely wrong. Griffin's emotions were in a flux, like his alters were fighting it out. "Uh... I think he needs a nurse. Or a telepath."

Makoto was forced aside as Mimic deflected her blows. She tumbled a bit, felt dizzy for a moment but was alright and stood up in time to see Mimic be flustered by what must have been Phoebe's successful attack. She squealed in excitement and encouragement. She looked around to her teammates, to see their reaction and if she was right to celebrate. Makoto noticed Devika to the side with Griffen?Zack? either way, he didn't look so well. "I'm first aid certified." She offered, but didn't yet make a move to come to their aid. Would Mimic attack them if they went to help their classmate? He had surprised her more than once so she was not sure what to expect from her new teacher.

Watching the fight with interest Estella marveled at everyone's abilities. This kind of thing wasn't something she expected. It was all new to her, or at least as far as she could remember. She saw Griffin go down and tilted her head curiously. He didn't appear to have taken any injury. Hearing call for a telepath Estella sat up a bit. Glancing around no one else seemed willing, or perhaps able, to provide that service. With a slight hesitation Estella stood up from the bleachers and made her way down. Applying a little focus she could identify more than one mind within Griffin, confused and panicked. Why was slightly harder to tell with just a quick glance. Cautiously she knelt down beside Griffin and concentrated on talking to them. *Similarly to how they had first met Estella appeared as another personality in Zack/Griffin's head. She would try something more subtle but a 'visible' person might not be as jarring as just a voice. She appeared different than then but thankfully she sounded the same which could be an unknown plus for calming them. Not getting to close in their mental forms she spoke softly. "Hello?"*

"Hello?"* Zack's only thought was let me out. He knew something was wring. He just had no idea what it was. He couldnt help as long as he was trapped. The locked down room had never bothered him before. Griffin took good care of their shared body. He had never had a reason yo be concerned. Now something was wrong and there was no way for him to help. Griffin had no clear thoughts. His mind was functioning on an animalistic level. He saw the being as a threat. He put himself between the being and the lock down box. He didn't really know what it was or why it was important. He just knew he needed to protect it. He lashed out in anger snarling at the being.

*Seeing Griffin's reaction she stopped a ways away. The one before her clearly did not want her around. A manifestation of a defense mechanism perhaps. Estella didn't know enough about this person to know. Rather than say anything though she took a seat and closed her eyes. She didn't want to provoke Griffin so she tried to appear as small and non-threatening as possible.* Back in the physical world Estella placed her hands over Griffin's head. If he were to try and push her out she wanted a strong link to prevent it.

Griffin prowled in front of the lock down area. He watched to being that had invaded his space. It seemed familiar but he didn't know why. He had no words. He was more animal then beast at the moment. The part of him that could speak was...he wasn't sure where it was but it wasn't here. He growled at the invader. Something was not right. He knew that much. He was afraid and angry. He blamed the being in his space. He didn't believe that the being wasn't a threat. Everything was a threat. Especially to...someone. Someone who wasn't here. _Where is he?!_ He thought more to himself then the being. He didn't know who he was looking for. But he knew the person was important and in danger.

*Answering the question but still not moving. "Zack. He wants out. Your protection is scaring him." She picked up on the familiarity that Griffin had. "Do you know who I am? I don't. All I know is a name." With some careful poking and prodding she might be able to get Griffin to start thinking. Reason was the one thing she needed from him.*

He rolled the name around in his mind. It was familiar. It felt safe. It felt important. He knew the name but he didn't know how. He didn't want Zack to be scared. It was his job to keep him from being afraid. So where was he? Why was he afraid._Out?_ Griffin thought. Out of where? He was puzzled. He studied the being in front of him. She was familiar. She felt safe. But he didn't trust anything or anyone. Something was wrong. He knew that. He growled in frustration.

*Seeing some improvement Estella continued. "My name is Estella." Opening her eyes she looked at Griffin but didn't make any sudden movements. "Zack is inside a box. Is it the one behind you?"*

Griffin frowned at the box behind him. He had been protecting the box but he hadn't know why. He knew the box was important. He sniffed at the box. It smelled of him and another. Zack? Was he inside? Why was he inside? Griffin began ramming the box. He backed up a few steps and ran at the box. Of course this did nothing since the box wasn't real but a creation that he and Zack had made. But his mind wasn't thinking logically. He had slid back to his more animalist nature.

*It was starting to be more clear. The box was the defense mechanism and Griffin was guarding it. The dual personality was an interesting feature. It kind of felt familiar, like she had experienced something similar herself. Putting that aside she offered assistance. "Would you like me to help? I can get him out."*

"Come on" Phoebe said to Makoto, "Mimic's down. He just doesn't know it yet" She looked to Mimic, then at Grifin, hoping that everything was alright. She flinched when Kalinda seemed to just appear by them. "You need more then simple first aid to help them. They are quite unique, both individual while sharing the same body. As soon as they perceived they were in danger, Grifin went into protective mode, and probably shut Zack away. But it seems more violent then most times I've seen it. Mimic shouldn't have done what he did" Despite her bland expression, there was concern and care in Kalinda's voice. Her eyes watched Estella, and she wondered if there was any progress. She wanted to go help, but didn't want to interrupt the empath. Yet.

Griffin blinked at her. He didn't like the idea of her near the box but he didn't know how to open it. He clawed at the box. His anger and confusion making it harder for him to think clearly. He knew that Zack was important. He was...Griffin snarled in frustration. He had almost had something. _I don't remember._ He growled telepathically. He needed...something. Someone usually helped him focused. He prowled in front of the box trying to figure out what was wrong with him.

**"Who helps him focus?"** Estella asked the others nearby with her telepathy. She didn't have enough information to identify who Griffin was referring to.

Kalinda blinked, "It's not who. It's what." before she even realised what she was doing, she was walking forwards. "Griffin doesn't do well with emotions. Zack does better. If Zack's locked down, Griffin will just be a big mess of emotions, because Zack isn't able to shift through them, and deal with them. They're two parts of one whole, even though they are individual. Zack can't deal well with Fighting, so Griffin does that" She knelt, and her hands, already out of the gloves she confined them all, took theirs. "Griffin?" The anger and confusion hit her, but she quickly suppressed that, and started to sooth it away, as if stroking a particularly violent cat into submission. "It's okay. Everything is okay. The light box is gone. Your safe. Let me help calm you" She didn't if know if Griffin could hear her. But still she talked. "You have Zack in Lock down, don't you? But you can't reach him. Take a deep breath, I'm taking the anger and confusion away. remember Zack? All you want to do is protect him. You don't have to do that now, imagine the box coming down, imagine Zack coming out. No one's going to hurt you" Was it even working? Kalinda couldn't tell.

Griffin frowned at the sound of a voice. It seemed to be coming from inside and out. He knew that voice. "Who..." He looked at the box behind him. "I can't find Zack...he is missing..." He felt calmer. Not ration yet. But atleadt now he seemed to be able to communicate with those around him. "I don't like the box." He growled. His pace slowed. "Yes protect. Danger." His thoughts were still confused but he was making connections.
