That seemed a better response. Kalinda continued to sooth, to comfort. She gripped his hands and said, "I know you don't like the box. No box is around. Only the box you've put Zack in. You can find him. Everything's okay. No one's going to hurt you. There is no danger"

Makoto listened to Kalinda and Phoebe. She turned her attention back to Phoebe. "So, shall we attack Mimic one last time?" With what Makoto knew about electricity and the human body, she could try to act as a tazer/defibrillator if needed. She was genuinely concerned for Griffen/Zack. If there was nothing she could do with her first aid training then she would just have to sit quietly and wait to be useful.

He felt empty. He looked around for the owner of the voice. "I can't open it." He said worriedly. He looked at the box he guarded. He knew it was important. It held something he needed. "Zack... He is important." He tilted his head thoughtful. The box held Zack. His job was to protect Zack. His mind was working but at a slow pace. "The box is gone. The danger is gone?"

Kalinda had often felt the connection between the two, and right now, It just didn't seem to be there. She frowned slightly, "That's right, Zack's in the box. He's your brother, you love him." Was she doing this right? Or was she just making it worse? "Hey? Telepath? Can you take an image from me, and give it to Griffin?" She asked suddenly. She didn't know how the boys saw themselves in their minds, but she had commented to them at one time or another that asides from the differences in emotions, they appeared different. Slight differences, but she noticed them. Maybe it would be enough of a connection to let Griffin let zack out. "That's right. The dangers gone. I've never let anyone hurt you here, have I? You can trust me, you know that" ---- Phoebe looked over to Mimic, and shook her head "that plant I used was a special type. The pollen and scent can cause sleep. I have a natural immunity, through my mother. I imagine mimic has some immunity too, given what he can do, so I imagine he's just feeling groggy and slow. No point in continuing to fight him. All we can do is wait" she said with a sigh

*Telepath? She had a name. But she had only just been introduced that day so she would let it slide. "Sure, I can do that. If anything sudden happens you might get some feedback. Fair warning." Estella drew Kalinda into Griffin's mind with her and gave her form.

> "That's right. The dangers gone. I've never let anyone hurt you here, have I? You can trust me, you know that" > Griffin studied the image carefully. "I know you." He was sure of it. They had done something together. He had helped her. "You have helped us before." He approached her cautiously. He felt like he could trust her. Like he had trusted her before. "Can you help? Everything...is confusing. I don't know what happened or how to fix it. Nothing makes since. I do not like this."

Just like meditation, Kalinda thought. Focusing on Something, in this case, it would be Zack. "Of course I helped you before. You are my friend." She continually soothed away and confusion, trying to replace it with peace, kindness. "Take a few deeps breaths, will you? And then picture zack. His scent, you know that well, I know you do." She didn't want to do it, but it was something she thought might help. "You told me, once, that you became because Zack had been kidnapped, was in danger, but couldn't do anything, right? You want to protect him, but locking him away now, when there's no danger, is just hurting you both." She wished she could transport all the memories she had of the both of them as easily as she did the emotions. "Just breath, and relax" (I hope I am remembering that right)

"Yes...he was scared and alone..." Griffin replied. He took a deep breath. He thought of Zack. His brother. The word felt right. They weren't really brothers. But that was how they thought of each other. Focusing in those thoights rather then his lack of knowledge helped. He was able to remembered the girl he was talking to. Kalinda. That was her name. They had eatten pizza together. She hadn't had it before. He had taught her how. She was his first friend at the academy. He looked at the lockdown area. "He was in danger. I wanted to help. He hands things that I can't. And I hand things he can't. We're a team." He approached the lockdown area. "This helps us. We can go in but not get out. Zack can't get out but I can get in." He was sure of it but how? How did he get in? He studied the area. There was no official door. They created it as they needed to. This help keep things out. He reached for the door. "You might want to move back. I don't know his we will react. The box has upset the balance." (I think that's close to what they discussed about the kidnapping.)

Kalinda didn't move, stayed where she was. "I'm going to stay right here. You won't hurt me" she said, and beyond anything else, it was easier to keep griffin's confusion back when she was touching. He seemed more primal in his emotions, and thus the touch helped give her that connection. "That's right, a team. You compliment each other. It's going to be okay"

Kijani was thrashing in her sleep. Even with the chemical darkness of the sleeping pill, there was fear on her face. She was sweating, and struggling, and finally jerked awake, eyes wide. She gasped like she'd been drowning and had just broken the surface. Looking around wildly, her eyes seem to shift as she came back into the room. "...Connor?" She rubbed her eyes and made sure she wasn't just dreaming him at her desk. "...why are you still here?" She got up, silently noticing that her shirt was damp with sweat.

Connor had been watching Kijani thrash, and while he had wanted to go and comfort her, had been afraid that would only make it worse. He sighed softly, wondering if it would be better to wake her up, then to let her continue to thrash when she woke. He let out a slow breath. "Why?" He said softly, "Because I didn't want you to wake alone" he said, watching her, concerned.

Kijani gave him a long look, one that was clearly puzzled but trying to work through it. Apparently, she gave up after several moments. "Well, turn around then. I need to change my shirt." She strode to her closet and made sure Connor wasn't looking before she stripped off the damp clothing and tossed it into the hamper. Pulling a shirt at random, she put it on and sighed, rubbing her hand across her face. Why hadn't the pills worked properly? Maybe she needed a higher dose or something. Now that she was decent, she joined Connor's side, leaning against him. "I wish you wouldn't skip class for me." Because of her weakness. "But I'll admit, it is nice to have you here." She smiled and gently kissed his cheek. Softly, she inhaled his scent. He always had a sort of smell about him. Not really cologne or even soap, nothing like bo. Just sort of... Connor-smell. She wondered if this was a normal thing, but really had no one to ask. Maybe she'd research it. Snatching up her laptop, she booted it and typed in her long password. There was an email waiting, and she opened it reflexively, not really paying attention. Her brow furrowed as she started to read. Slowly, her eyes got wider and wider, the color slowly fading from her face. Even so, she couldn't stop reading. Seeming to hit the end of it, she blinked several times, and then wordlessly shut the laptop down. "Hey, Connor... I really feel like getting a smoothie or... some juice or something. Come with me?"

Connor looked away obligenly, returning to his phone and what he had been doing, while Kijani changed. When she came over to him, and said she wished he wouldn't skip class for her, he said "All they are doing is fighting Mimic in groups, and only one has gone. Something's happened in the class, but it doesn't seem serious" He held up his phone, which showed the power development class on it, and smiled, almost shyly. He glanced to his phone as Kijani used her laptop, glancing to her, and frowned at the paleness that seemed to over take her, but didn't connect it to what she was doing on the laptop, instead, worried that she was sick or something. When she asked to get a smoothie or juice, he nodded and said, "Sure"

He seemed more primal in his emotions, and thus the touch helped give her that connection. "That's right, a team. You compliment each other. It's going to be okay" Griffin hesitated. Whatever balance he had now would be gone when he opened the door. He wasn't sure how he knew. Buthe was certain of it. He owned the door slowly. He was afraid that he Woukd see nothing inside. But there huddled on the floor shaking and crying laid his brother. The one he was suppose to protect. He had failed. Seeing his brother broken again brought back everything the the pain, fear, and anger that Kalinda had taken when Arnold first appeared al those months ago roared to life. Griffin roared as emotions he had locked away overwhelmed him. A deep Austrailian accent could be heard not only inside their mind but by those outside as well. "the balance has shifted. We will be back." the Austraillian pushed the intruder's from their mind. He shoved the bodies near them away uncaring where they went as long as they wer not touching him. He snarled at them on all fours. More animal than man he didn't recongize any of them. He took of out of the room looking for a place that they felt safe.

Kalinda cursed when she heard the voice of Arnold, and flinched away in time to not be pushed back. Beyond Griffin and Zack, she didnt much like their third personality, and without much thought, she chased after them. "Hey! Arnold! what the hell do you think you are doing?" Why, why, why did he have to return? She didn't know Arnold, and had no idea what to expect. "Damn it, Griffin! Zack! I know you can hear me!" Although she didn't know that, as chances were, if Arnold was in control, then the two were pushed back. Or so she thought from the time she'd interacted with Arnold.

He needed no on. E ran as fast as he could on all fours until he remembered that he could fly. He launched them into the air. Unfortunately he didn't have the experience of the other two so h's flight wasn't as smooth or as controlled as theirs would have been. He began searching for a place for them to hide. He dent see alot of promising places.

Not expecting to be so forcefully pushed from their mind Estella was left slightly dazed before getting pushed away. Putting her hands to her head for a minute she waited until things cleared a bit more. *"What was that? There is a third person in there?"* Picking herself up Estella looked around a bit confused. Right, they were in class still. "Should we go after him?" Kagerou asked curiously. Although for once this was directed at Mimic as she really had no idea what was happening. If she needed to spring into action then she would. That is if Mimic could still think clearly after the flower thing.

Annoyed and frustrated, Kalinda didn't want to go running all over the school and perhaps the city, but Arnold didn't know the school or the surrounding areas, and he didn't seem one to share information, given the fact he looked like a baby bird on its first real flight. With a sigh, she leaped into the air. She stayed far enough away that he couldn't attack her, but close enough that she could try and prevent any injury or harm. "It's going to be a long afternoon" she said to herself. ---- Phoebe watched what happened, and seemed to hesitate, before shaking her head, "No, that might not be a good idea. We will probably just make it worse" She said, going over to mimic "You should be fine in about half an hour. Sorry. But I deliberately chose one that would work for a while. Not knowing how immune you'd be" she smiled, and shrugged, then turned to Makoto "Do you want me to finish showing you around?"

"S-sure..." Makoto said hesitantly, turning to watch a small group of students leave after Zack/Griffen. "Will he be alright?" she asked Phoebe, concerned for the boy's well being and feeling completely helpless to be of any use.

Arnold was tired. Between the fight, the chaos, and flying they were quickly running out of energy. He hadn't seen any place that could keep them safe. It couldn't be any place too small. Or the boys would panic again. But it was hard to hide in the open. Finally he found a garden. It had some overgrown areas. It wasn't ideal. Especially with the girl so close. But the had no choice. He headed for the densest part.
