Hokey nodded his head to Vlad then proceeded further into the gym with the others. He glanced around with fascination at the contents of the gym. It had been somewhat renovated and outfitted with new equipment for their latest batch of test subjects, it appeared. He tried to mentally link the more specialized machines with the test subjects they were intended for. The extremely challenging ones belonged to Crusher, that much was a given. He couldn't help but notice the occasional curious glances he received from Shane, though he wasn't yet able to piece together the reason for them.
His head then turned to the new, unfamiliar voice. Felice. He hadn't heard him speak at all earlier, now that he thought about it. Though something was... off. Hokey did not comprehend. He repeated a recording of his words in his head, and with that the true nature of the situation quickly occurred to him, and as soon as it did, he raised his head. Without waiting for Vlad to acknowledge him, he began to talk, a hint of exasperation in his voice. "With all due respect, sir, isn't the goal of this program to make super soldiers to defend -America-?" he questioned, thudding a metallic paw against the marble gym flooring slightly at that last word for emphasis. "I mean, if they can talk English as well, that's swell, really swell, but I think coordination will be a bit, eh, impacted, if we can't understand each other, you know? I mean, I'm outfitted with systems that can not only transcribe audio into text, but also parse it through a translator, but... ever used Google Translate? Babelfish? It's not great, is what I'm saying. If I have spoken out of line, I accept my reprimand, but I hope you understand that I just have concern for group cohesion."
