A near white blonde head of hair wormed its way out of a blue hood because of the wind. On a billboard a slender figure in blue and black could be seen, he sat along the edge looking out over the city. This was his new home, he hadnt been to his old home since he had initially left it several years ago. He felt no desire to seek out his family, his own sisters had turned him into the DUP, ruining any sort of happy family reunion that he would've had. He wasn't sad though, he looked forward, he was never one to dwell on the past. The billboard behind the boy branded a large sinister skull with tears of blood. A symbol that had come to represent the reapers in this city. But that's not all that was on the board. Now a large flaming phoenix, with the letters NYC drawn into it's chest, was on the board. The phoenix flew upward its wings outstretched, flames coming off its tail like a jet. This new symbol, one to represent rebirth, of himself and the city. It now in part covered the skull. As if to say, you may still be here, but the city belongs to itself not you. A radio chimed at his side. "Multiple Conduits in the Washington Street Area." He stood and took one last look at his art, his message. "Looks like it might be time to see who my neighbors are." He smiled and suddenly a large bird similar to what he just painted appeared. It grabbed him by the shoulders and took off into the air. He arrived fairly quickly and landed on a rooftop next to the action, as he was dropped by the bird it continued to fly, but flew into the side of a building leaving a intriguing looking piece of art.

Cruor Cruor quickly back pedalled away from the sand conduit as he formed his sphere, using his tendrils to help him avoid the slabs of sand that were being hurled in every direction. 'A thick defense, but it must have a weak point somewhere.' With that in mind, he charged the sphere, launching on to it with long, spider-like legs he formed out of blood. As he landed, as expected, spikes of blood stabbed at what might be the height of an actual person, luckily he was high above that height. He crawled all over the sphere, looking for a opening somewhere in the sphere, and avoiding spike as he did so. When he found none, how ever he decided to make one. He charged up a bunch of tendrils, forming a large drill like one, and slammed it into the side of the sphere, making it spin. While he did that, he quickly yelled out to Scorn and Order. "I require assistance in the cracking of the exterior, so if one of you, but preferably both, could help me out, it would be much appreciated." Ash Ash frowned as the sand conduit created his sphere and started hurling sand everywhere, this had gone on for long enough. "We'll have to cut this conversation short Eli, duty calls." Ash nodded before flying down to the ball ash solidifing around him to make an stylized armor, one the look rather angelic in form if not color scheme. He brought his hand up and launched 5 Ash Grenades at the sphere, striking it on all sides, before taking a soaring position right above it. "Lets see if we can make the city a nice new sculpture, shall we Sandy." He then blast a ball of fire downwards, set to ignite the ash and probably cause the entire thing to blow.

Both orders backed off meeting up on a nearby roof, taking a moment to become "True Order" once more. The Sand man clearly has taken their banter rather seriously, unlike those around him who hardly see him as anything but an irritating child. Much like the child that was just referenced he had begun to throw a colossal tantrum, flailing about wildly it damaged a rather wide area. "I require assistance in the cracking of the exterior, so if one of you, but preferably both, could help me out, it would be much appreciated." The mans words interrupted her chain of thought, she sneered slightly at his plea. Her eyes rolled while she lifted a finger and pointed toward the swirling mass of sand. However a massive explosion above the target left her looking at her finger tip for a moment..."I do lazers not explosions." She laughed at her own thought as it was obvious something else had attacked in a rather showy if she did say so herself. What had not been blown away had been turned into bits of glass, The sand from the attacks was recollected to aid in his defence. "Tch" Seems like his barrier was more versatile than she had given him credit for, rather than simply point her hand looked more like a pistol. "Mind the flash." Light visibly condensed as if a small suns had been at her finger tips. No sooner had they formed they erupted fusing into a large literal torrent of pure white heat. The joint attacks of the pair scattered the barrier as if it was a sand castle in front of a bored toddler. Conveniently their was now a tunnel of the most smooth glass straight to the stunned conduit. "If you two had been waiting for an invitation....I think it just arrived."

Jacob had been watching the whole ordeal quite contently now that the churning in his head had calmed. It was the first time in a while he'd taken a recommended dosage, and the dark thoughts floating through his head seemed distant now. It was interesting how many different conduits happened to be around for the fight, a few spectators like himself hanging around the area. One such conduit flew in on a colourful bird that blended with the wall of a building, the image for a moment flashing a deep red for Jacob as he stared. Rubbing his eyes he forced out whatever distortion he'd just witnessed and reminded himself why he was here. Wait for the skull jackets to finish. Then ask one about the other one's earlier offer.

Scorn By now the rogue conduit was getting peppered on all sides, the few remaining CTU agents around with a few conduit by standers tagged along to help in the matter. It spoiled some of Scorn's fun, she wanted to play still but in the end she figured all fun things must come to an end and she still had a rather busy day to continue on with so she put her own abilities to the test at breaking the rogue's defenses. Eventually they did break and in one last ditch effort the rogue tried to send a blast wave of sand in all directions. Sand burst forth every which way, blinding most but out of the corner of Scorn's eye she noticed the rogue get flung back only a block away, hitting the side of a building and falling into an alley. She quickly dropped to the ground and half ran, half skipped to the wounded prey perhaps to get a few more hits in but even by the time she reached the alley their was a crowd. Even the CTU agents that made it over before her stood back making her curious. They were all staring awestruck at what was happening. Scorn pushed her way through the crowd. She could hear what sounded like sobs at the end of the alley? Why were they just standing there? Why weren't CTU agents trying to capture the rogue who had just made a mess to her city? She arrived at the front, and what she saw was awful. At the end of the alley, the rogue conduit was on his knees. He wore an old hoodie and tattered jeans. His hands were on his lap and he was staring straight into the sky, his mouth hanging open. His eyes had rolled into the back of his sockets. A man was holding his scalp. He wore the traditional garb of a Syndicate – the trademark mechanical mask and the clean suit. He wore the same gloves seen in the video about a year ago. He held the rogue’s scalp tightly, and a blue neon energy was seeping from any available orifice from the rogue right into his glove. Scorn slowly raised her hand, but she was too late. The man let go of the rogue’s scalp and the conduit dropped to the ground, unconscious. One conduit by her raised a hand and let loose a swirling blast of shrapnel. The Syndicate member raised his glove, who’s neon lines now glowed a dark, shadowy grey. His arm morphed into a swirling tornado, and simply absorbed the shrapnel. The tornado disappeared just as quickly as it turned. The Syndicate member flexed his metal gauntlet, forming a claw in his hand, staring down at it. He slowly rose his mask to face the crowd. “The Syndicate sends it’s regards.” He said. And with that, the man turned around and walked off, suit fluttering behind him. As he melded into the shadows of the alley, most of the conduits launched their attacks. Paint, rubber, smog. All of the attacks hit a brick wall at the end. It was as if the man had simply disappeared. The crowd just stared at the alley for a long while, the unconscious rogue norm lying on the ground, while Scorn had made an attempt to run forward and catch the accursed Syndicate member with no success. "Damn it!" Scorn finally said in agitation and quickly disappeared into the shadows before the CTU agents could regain any form of thinking to notice that they had the leader of the Reaper's amongst them. She for a brief moment stood beside Order seemingly forgetting that a Syndicate member had just been there. "If you still wish to meet and have a discussion meet me.... oh let's say atop City Hall, seems to be a reasonable place to hash out some form of agreement if we come to one. Ta-ta Order and do learn to have a little fun it wouldn't kill you." Scorn let out a slight laugh and once more disappeared, getting away from the crowd of Conduits before seeking out Cruor "Now Cruor, know any other lovely conduits we could invite to our little gang to deal with the Syndicate menace we just saw," she asked upon finding him.

Cruor Cruor had barely avoided getting scorched by the ash cloud explosion, and by the time he had regained his senses, the battle was over, and a crowd had formed near an alley. He was quick to approach, and was able to witness the Syndicate member drain the sand conduit of his power. He refrained from firing the volley at the wall, knowing it would do no good. He instead followed Scorn away from the scene, a dark rage forming in the back of his mind. How dare those syndicate pigs take that man's god given gift, when he catches that man, he will be sure to make him scream, oh how he shall scream. Upon hearing Scorn's request, he closed his eyes looking for any melodies that seemed to be of any use. He found two, both on top of rooftops, and was quick to point them out to Scorn. One drew his interest in particular, he'd remember that sound anywhere. 'He must have reconsider Natasha's offer.' "If you'll excuse me Scorn, I'll go check on the one over there, you go to the one on the roof of the building with the bird on it. Since that bird wasn't there before, I can already guess what his power might be." With that being said, Cruor rushed to the building, quickly climbing up the structure using both his hands and tendrils before he jumped over the edge of the building, and landed right behind the man, his hood over his head and leaving only his insane grin visible to the him. "Looks like I should let little Natsha do the recruiting more often, that is, if you came here to join us. If so then follow me and we'll get you a good meal, and maybe a shower while we're at it." He pulled down his hood, showing his eye filled with welcome and his smile now warm and inviting. Ash Ash had been about to bombard the sand sphere when Order took it upon herself to deal with it, followed by Scorn finishing the fight with a bang, getting sand everywhere. Once he had gotten it out of his eyes, he had wished he hadn't, as he saw the Syndicate member drain the sand conduit and then disappear into the shadows. Damn those assholes, they were only adding to the problem, making conduit's afraid and more likely to lash out with their abilities. With a sigh, he landed near the crowd, catching sight of Cruor going up a nearby building and Scorn standing near Order. He considered trying to apprehend her, but decided that it would cause more trouble than it was worth. He suddenly heard rapid footsteps behind him and turned to see his a group of Vanguard members, including his top guys, Roger Jenson, a fire conduit, and Ace, a concrete conduit. They seemed ready to take on Scorn, but a motion from Ash cut them off. "Not today" was all he said, his ash armor falling away as he walked over to Cruor and Order, wooden staff in hand. He reached into his pocket to pull out a cigarette, lighting it and taking a quick drag and exhale. "Well that was a hell of a fiasco with a bittersweet pay-off. Anyway, so your this Order I've been hearing about. Definitely an interesting one with that choice of dress, I'll give you that, but that's beside the point. I'm just hear to make sure you don't cause any unnecessary trouble in the city. As you can see, we have enough with rogue's like Sandy, or nuts like Scorn here. Keep a low profile, keep collateral damage to a minimum, and stay out of the Vanguard's way, and I'm sure we'll get along fine." Ash took another long drag, before exhaling, this time the smoke coalescing into the Vanguard symbol for a second before dispersing. "You see that symbol on any building, you can go there for any assistance you may need, or if you want to get in contact with me. Oh, and do yourself a favor of avoiding the aforementioned nut, your likely to catch her insanity." Ash then turned to Scorn, taking his final drag before blowing it in her face. "By all accounts, I should be trying to bring you in, but their's already been too much damage to the city as it is, and the Vanguard will get billed for it if I cause anymore. So you get a free pass today, but the next time I see you, I'll be sure to get your crazy ass shipped back to your cell in the Cay, sure they miss you there." He flicked his cigarette away before walking back to his group, all the while standing on guard in case Scorn decided to pull something. He couldn't lie, he really wanted to take care of her now, as her and her Reapers was a massive pain in the ass, but if he started an altercation that led to more property damage, than the Vanguard would have to foot the bill, and they already were having financial issues as it is. What they need was a wealthy sponsor who didn't mind paying for all this shit, instead of relying on donations, but since no business man wants to invest or have anything to do with them, they had no choice but to pick their battle and try not to throw the first punch.

With the blast of sand Jacob had lost the skull hoodies, and was desperetly trying to search for them in the crowds now scattered about the streets. "Great job, Sherlock. You lost them," someone behind him sneered, eliciting a growl of frustration from Jacob. Angrily he spun around, about to mouth off at whoever it was but hearing them speak first. For a moment Jacob just stood there confused, not really understanding the change in tone and briefly trying to look behind the man to see if anyone was with him. "His jacket, moron," someone murmured, and Jacob's attention was draw to hood which though it was down, he recognized the jacket as one of the ones below on the street. "Oh, uh, yes. I think," Jacob replied, having lost a fair chunk of what the man had said while bickering with himself mentally. "Um, my name's Jacob," he then blurted, trying to put behind what confusion he had.

As the conduits all went there separate ways, Order finally took a moment to yawn. Being active for over 38 hours straight let alone such liberal use of her powers, rather draining to say the least. Scorn, and apparently some man that is unaware that he is not in the nineties anymore, had both informed her of meeting spots. "Meet me here....When, would have been an ideal bit of information Scorn. Leave it to a lunatic...Vanguard hits me as someone I should speak with in the future." Order erupts into light heading straight up. Orders flash appears atop city hall, where she sat and waited for the meeting with Scorn.

“Mmph.” He mumbled, drowsy. “Mmrphh.” Dean Finnigan slowly rose, his breath short and halted. The thick, black tarp on top of him wrinkled, and morning dew slid off of it. The boy blinked twice, his eyes heavy with fatigue. His hair was a mess, disheveled and greasy. The taste of bitter morning breath greeted him, with it’s same old “Hey! Go fuck yourself!” The boy had become accustomed to a New York City good morning, after one long month of disappointment. When he had come here, he had come imagining it as some conduit haven. The city where any conduit could find a job, and food, and money with ease. His opinion on the matter quickly changed. In fact, if he hadn’t brought some of his own starting money when he came here, he doubted he would be even living right now. The boy set the tarp down gently, flattening it. He walked to a nearby, rooftop generator, one of many on the wonderful roof he lived on. The generator’s top was polished clean, similar to a countertop. A porcelain plate, a set of utensils, a paper cup, and a cheap coffee brewer sat on top, with fresh, cool beads of morning dew sliding down. The coffee brewer appeared to be sloppily hooked up to the generator. The boy began the brewer, and began to prepare breakfast. He first opened up the generator’s innards, where a mess of multicolored wires and metal boxes lay. Dean reached inside, pulling out a steel pan, a box of matches, a chunk of tree bark, and a canister of gasoline. The average, run-of-the-mill supplies for a healthy breakfast. He lay the wood down in a nearby pile of ashes, and added a supple amount of gasoline. He lighted a match, and set the wood ablaze. The fire’s orange plume flickered, sending embers floating up into the stack of smoke. Usually, the smoke and smell went unnoticed, luckily enough. He held the pan above the white tongues of flames, and reached back into the generator box. It was dangerous, maybe, reaching into a box of deadly electric wires, but he was pretty stupid. The boy, after a moment of fiddling around, pulled out a carton of eggs. He set several into the pan, throwing the eggshells over his shoulder, and stood, holding the pan over the fire. Occasionally, the boy would shake the pan, sifting the eggs about, trying not to sear his hand. He bent back over to the generator, and reached inside. He pulled out several small bottles of cheap spices, and added them generously to the mix, flavorful black and red specks mingling with the white yolk. After several minutes time, he pulled the pan back, and dumped the contents onto the plate on top of the generator. Not bothering to stamp out the fire, he picked up the plate, fork, and cup of cold coffee, and walked to the edge of the rooftop, where a street of bustling cars and people hurried along. The fire would fade soon, but for now, a distinct scent of gasoline wafted by. He sat, letting his feet dangle off of the edge, just like every morning. For his regular morning dose of eavesdropping, he usually listened into conversations on the streets. It was often fun, listening in with his increased hearing. Sometimes he'd get arguments, which were always fun. The boy sighed, taking a long sip of his cool coffee. It was distastefully bitter. Unfortunately, a lot of the conversation was boring, mostly discussion on the state of weather or what they should paint their room. He began to dig into his eggs, taking a large forkful. They tasted like rubber shit. On a nearby, lower roof, he noticed a sudden flash, and a woman dressed in white faded in. It was good for him, too. He was starting to get tired of his morning entertainment being the idle chitchat of people in coffee shops and the like. Hopefully, this woman would do something interesting.

Scorn Scorn smiled at Ash's words and gave a laugh."Oh I would be welcomed back as a queen for my exploits and the guards would shake in fear for Augustine can no longer protect them from me." In a split second though her face went from unkempt insanity to one of stern seriousness."I warn you once Vanguard, stay out of my way and we won't have problems, my war is with the Syndicate and those who don't understand that we are now on top and change is coming. Plus do you think I am out her on my own, ask yourself how many of those in the alley think like me and follow me. Not all of us wear coats. Any chance of you trying to stop me would only start a bloodbath where the blood lies on your hands not on mine which would be sad since my hands always do look good in red." With those words of cation the insanity was back on her face."Now dear Vanguard I have people to see and places to be. Ta-ta and behave yourself, mommy can't watch all the children at once after all." With that she left disappearing into the shadows and making her way to her first stop which was to meet up with Order. Upon reaching the roof on Town Hall she was somewhat shocked to see Order there all ready but then again she hadn't specified a time as she thought about it. "My, my I guess it's true what they say, you are all about the order of things," Scorn said to introduce her arrival ",Though I'm happy to finally have the opportunity to speak with you. You are the one thorn in my side that I actually enjoy, but I doubt you wish to chit chat so let me get down to my offer for you. You want order and I want order. Oh yes indeed I do I merely want a new order which requires a bit of chaos and insanity before it can come into play. The world stands on the precipice of change. Please though before I keep going at least express any interest." --- Kiera Kiera was getting off her shift and making her way over to a bar called The Amp, a bar that was the first of its kind really. By now most places were accepting of conduits but some still had trouble with them however The Amp was an all conduit place. Not to say no normal people didn't go there but most of the patrons were conduits, all but the bar tender which was one Zeke Jedidiah Dunbar the friend of the Cole Macgrath the most famous conduit of them all and was the patron saint of New Marais. As she walked she manipulated a shard of glass, having it shift in shape and form to keep her thoughts from haunting her. You are my Sister of Darkness, a chilling voice said, a voice she feared yet longed to her, not as friend but as family if she could merely succeed at her own plans. The walk seem to go by in seconds and soon she was in it's interior, being greeted by Zeke."I take it you will take the usual table?" he asked once greeting her. She nodded and went over to a table that she usually sat and waited for Eli.

Order felt a bit of relief when Scorn showed up sooner rather than later. As she began to speak and lay out her plans Order raised a brow skeptically but she had to at least humor the chance for a lower body count. Scorns rather aloof nature leaves Order also acting a bit more hospitable than she normally would with someone of Scorn's history. "yes yes, I am paying attention but may I ask you to pick a form of insanity and keep too it. I had thought you a madwoman killing and maiming anyone whom you disagreed with. Yet here today you aided with the dispatching of a rogue. If this was a ruse to get me to listen to you, I must say it shows more intellect than I thought you capable of. So rather than think you the mastermind I know you can not possibly be, I will listen as you some how convince me that the slaughter of the masses that you and your cohorts have done in the past was all part of an action to bring about a lasting order." Orders posture relaxed into that of a "Sass'd" Student from her normal commanding presence. "Forgive me, I am rather tired and would like to avoid you attacking me. I totally would not see it coming." Her joke is lost on those who don't know, but she cant help but smile at her own lameness. --- "Chirp" A BMW M5 with what looks to be a nice brass finish parked at a parking deck near a local conduit friendly bar. The owner dressed in a rather clean suit, once again with the strange off colored cufflinks and buttons. His phone also maintained his rather gaudy motif, upon it screen had the location of a bar and a photo of a young blonde girl. "A sister of Scorn, poetic when you say it out loud." The man memorized the photo and the name before placing the phone in the inner pocket of his suit jacket. As he stepped inside the man looked around the bar and looked about. "What a wonderful place to spend my afternoon." Though the words had sounded sincere his rather lopsided brow betrayed his obvious irritation in the matter. He walked over to the bar hoping to find a barkeep that would know both information on the girl and also how to make a seven and seven proper. The barkeep however seemed to be away from his station though, normally this offense would definitely cost them the tip, but since the man was forced to look about for him it made him find his target far sooner than he had hoped. As Zeke walked by the man asked if he could make a 7&7 to the table where he just sat the fine young woman. Zeke seemed hesitant but had no reason to suspect anything...Hesitantly he agreed but looked over at Kiera somewhat apologetically. The man stepped up to her table and gestured if he may take the seat. "Hello, I am led to believe that you are Kiera Drogoth. My name is Miguel Smith. I am a Federal investigator looking into your sister." He pulls out a badge and places it on the table in front of the girl. He stepped back making sure to remain standing as the girl had not given him permission as of yet. "I am hoping you wouldn't mind if I asked you a few question."

Cruor "A pleasure to make your acquaintance Jacob, and while I'd love to give you the grand tour of our facility, I make an effort to stay by Madame Scorn's side whenever possible. I will, however, give a guide to take you to our facility, though you may find the experience. . . discomforting." With that said, Cruor used a whole canister to create a wolf-like blood construct, this one much larger than what he had made to transport Natsha, to envelop the other conduit. "Once you arrive at the base, please try and find Natsha or her brother Nova, and they'll give you the tour in my stead, ta-ta now." And with a snap of his fingers, the beast took Jacob quickly through the city, taking a number of twist and turns on the way to the hide out, in case anyone had been following it. Once it arrived, it dropped Jacob off near the front of the tunnel, pointed him in the direction of Natasha's room, and quickly left to return to his master. If Jacob went in the direction the wolf pointed, he'd find Natsha fighting with another boy, while a smaller versionmof the wolf construct watched over them. Meanwhile, Cruor was on his way to City Hall, homing in on Scorn's blood rather easily until he got distracted by a powerful melody coming from a nearby rooftop. He was quick to investigate, and found a boy who seemed to be observiingnthe events going on on the roof of the building. Landing on the roof with a flourish, Cruor coughed into his hand to catch the child's attention. "Don't you know it'srather rude to spy on people, boy, especially dangerous conduits like those two.Though, since you're a conduit as well, I guess it's not that dangerous, though it still rather rude. So, do you have anything to say for yourself?"

Jacob flinched at the sight of the wolf thing, and instinct told him to back away. He stumbled though, and the thing was upon him before he could recover. Faintly Jacob could hear the man say something about finding the girl from before, unsure if he should struggle against this thing or stay still and hope he'd be alright. Whatever was happening it was obvious the thing was moving, and Jacob tried not to breathe the stale pocket of air left inside the thing. The liquid which was no doubt blood sickened him, and each second of his journey felt agonizingly more putrid than the last. When the thing finally dumped him out Jacob scrambled to his feet and began cursing, rubbing everywhere he could still feel the fluid on him. In truth it had only soaked into his already red jacket a minimal amount but it certainly didn't feel like it. "IGedubluuuugaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!" Jacob managed to babble, giving one last shudder as he began to calm down. "Go on then, go," someone behind him commanded, and he turned to see the wolf like creature point towards a tunnel before leaving, but nobody being around to have given the command. He was in a tunnel, a large tunnel, with a few sets of tracks going in and out of a few passage ways. Everything was poorly illuminated by gas lamps and a few lights hooked up to a generator, the lights in the run down train cars either not on or not working. Realizing he was on the tracks Jacob moved back worriedly, but his fear was lessened upon realizing parts of the tracks were paved over. Must be an abandoned section of subway system, he thought to himself, slowly walking forward as he looked around. The wolf thing before leaving had pointed towards one of the tunnels, and hesitantly Jacob began walking down it. The graffiti skulls covering the walls made him feel watched, and in the back of his mind he could feel something creeping up on him. Wishing to escape this he made his way down the tunnel, staying off the tracks and moving towards the sound of voices. Before long he came across an odd, makeshift wall of sorts blocking his path. It looked to be made from a metal fence and cardboard, decorated with posters of the skulls he'd seen earlier and though it wasn't eye pleasing it made sure one couldn't easily see through to the other side. Taking a deep breath Jacob pushed past the curtain and found what looked like a sort of sleeping quarters, and inside two children fighting. There was another bloody wolf like thing in the room too, and it gave Jacob a passive glance before returning it's attention to the squabbling kids. The two hadn't seemed to notice him, and so Jacob tried thinking of something to say to make an impression that wouldn't have the girl want to 'cut him' like she'd threatened before. It was hard to think with the two shouting at each other though, and before he could put together his thoughts Jacob blurted out, "What the hell are you too fighting about?"

Natasha & Nova The two stopped their tussling, with Natasha on top of Nova, the former sneaking in another sock to her brother's face before she got off of him and skipped over to Jacob, a confident smile on her face. "Gah, what the hell Natasha? And who's this guy." Nova held on to his jaw, getting up slowly and inching back aways. He kept a collection of knives, shivs, and broken beer bottles in a cubby near by, just in case somebody ever came in and tried to mess with them. Natasha ignored her brother, instead walking up and smacking Jacob lightly on his chest in welcome. "Hey hobo-guy, glad you could make it, I knew you couldn't stay away for long. Since your here, you must have decided to join us. Good on you, and as for our fight, that was because Nova over their is a fucking tattle-tale." "How many times do I have to tell you, I didn't say shit, it was one of the non-conduit reapers." "Bullshit, they'd no better then to tell on a conduit like me, I'm above them in every sense of the word. They would be too afraid of my wrath to even think of defying me." "Why, your a tiny loud mouth who suffers from delusions of grandeur, plus you don't have any powers to make them afraid of you, except the power to be incredibly annoying." Nova scoffed, stopping his pursuit of weapons once his sister said who the intruder was. If she knew him, then that meant that he was okay. "Don't get all uppity because you managed to recruit one person, it really doesn't make that much of a difference." "Yeah, well your face doesn't make much of a difference!" "That doesn't make any sense!" "Your face doesn't make any sense!" "Well at least I'm not so ugly that I have to cover it in makeup every day." "That's it, get over here and say that to my face!" And their they go again, locked in another brawl like Jacob wasn't even there. The wolf creature gave the man an expectant stare, as if to say 'Hey, do something about this already'.

Scorn "I'm full of surprises," Scorn answered Order ",Oh but come now you give me to much credit. I have hardly killed anyone. If you wish to know how many there was the one Syndicate agent from my lovely show, the unfortunate ones that were there the day my powers came to being, I think that was seven, and two wretched creatures that deserved their fate for what they did to her." At the mention of the murder of her first two victims her face turn to disgust and hatred for a brief second before turning back to her normal insane self. "You see I don't kill just anyone. Far from what the news likes to say, after all that CTU agent from earlier he didn't die, I just gave him a permanent smile for getting in my way. Why murder our own when our own are the future of this world. Oh how I do enjoy the chaos I cause but most of what I do has a purpose as random it may seem. Driving out other gangs from the city was more then just getting turf, it was about establishing control and base of operations and having no one to put holds on my plans. Yes perhaps a few people were killed between the turf wars that erupted but sometimes a stick is necessary to beat out the rats, my hands were dry though in that I had bigger fish to fry and couldn't be bothered with small things the other Reapers could handle. Beating people perhaps near death primarily the other gang leaders were the only mess I got into in that matter. Even that rogue earlier needed to be stopped for the strings of my web to still be of use. Those I save for more personal matters are only the Syndicate, they deserve the death I give them for what they do to us. Tell me how you would feel if suddenly you had no powers? Your identity suddenly taken. You would want them to pay as much as I would." Scorn turned to the edge of the roof looking at the city below her remaining silent for a brief few seconds to let her words sink in before continuing. "Oh I do hate the normals, they let her suffer and only I helped her, I saved her but she was broken by the time I could truely save her. I create chaos out of necessity for my plans as well as much I do enjoy it. Man though, they are chaos incarnated. They deserve punishment but not like the Syndicate. No they deserve the fear I create. They will see that the time of man is ending and the time of conduits is coming. After all look at the many ancestors of man. Those that came before our gone, those inferior forms. This is just another step of that evolution." She said this more so like she was thinking aloud before returning to Order. "Indeed I create chaos but it's to bring in the order that the rest of our kind could have. You are all about Order yet with man being on top do you think this world will ever have order. No there will never be order because man thrives and lives off the chaos that they create," she said ",This broken and shattered mind of mine has more sanity then you think. So tell me now, shall I keep going or will you turn me away like the Vanguard does, those who try to cling to a world that never will have order." Keira Keira was about to ask politely the man to leave who had sat down at her table but had her blood good ice cold at the mention of her sister. She had told no one about what she had learned through her digging of old Curdon Cay files. Of course she probably should of expected that some form of agency would find those files themselves but she had never expected for someone to come looking for her. "I don't know what you are talking about," she said in an attempt to just get him to stop asking questions but she doubted it would work especially since Miguel knew her name ",I have no sister." She only wished now Eli would come in and get Miguel to leave before asking questions or worst as other thoughts came into her mind on why he was there looking for her. Perhaps being Scorn's sister made her likely up for arrest. She would rather die then return to Curdon Cay.

"I believe a tour or something was mentioned," someone murmured, and for a brief second the image of a shadow split Jacob's vision in two. It looked impatient and frustrated, talon like hands passively scratching the chin of the bloody wolf before it disappeared. It's not there- it's not real- it's not there- it's not real-, JAcob chanted mentally, glancing at the wolf which hadn't reacted to what Jacob had seen only a moment ago. Habitually he reached up to his face and adjusted his glasses, the lenses dirty and scratched up but allowing him to see better than he could without them even if by a minimal amount. "Your uh," he began, clearing his throat before continuing, "your friend with that makes those blood wolves told me you would give me a tour or something?" he inquired, making sure he was loud enough that they should hear him. "YoU CAN't IGNoRE mE FOREVER!" a voice screamed, causing Jacob to flinch. He was about to reach for his pills but remembered he'd taken a second one only a short while ago, it hopefully having yet to take affect. They're just mad is all. They'll get over it, he thought, hoping what he told himself was true.

"Hm." Dean Finnigan observed, his interest piqued. "Scorn." The boy had heard of her before, among some questionable conduits. A finicky, distasteful conduit, with an odd, sexual interest in shoving rail spikes up others asses. The other one was anonymous, unfortunately. She appeared to be named.. Order? Scorn and Order. It was a shame that parents nowadays refrained from naming their children normally. They were having some long, philosophical conversation on chaos and insanity. He sighed, chewing on cold eggs. It was a shame that such great powers were wasted on conduits with such an inane disinterest in fighting. A fight between shadow and light could've been so entertaining and fun. He could imagine it now; good v. evil, shadow v. light. It would be like something just out of television. He- His train of thought was rudely interrupted by a raucous cough. He turned his heard glancing behind him. A man stood, in a flowing jacket, cascading over his shoulders. He recognized the garb. It was It bore heavy similarities to Scorn's own jacket, except less scandalous and showy. The fellow stared at him, his eyes dark, before demanding why he was eavesdropping. The man, also, apparently knew he was a conduit. That was a shame. He'd been working hard on keeping that a secret. In New York, business owners seem to tend to be somewhat reluctant to hire conduits, unfortunately. It was something about property damage, he supposed. All of that work erased by some smuck with the ability to detect conduits. He didn't bother to stand up, let alone put aside his breakfast. "I'd appreciate it if you'd leave me alone." The final word echoed, dripping with venom. It seemed almost unnaturally loud, and slightly deeper and bolder. Dean wasn't quite in the mood. "I'm trying to enjoy some breakfast here, reaper."

Orders patience was dwindling in this conversation, this lunatic spoke to her as if she was the mastermind behind a work of art. But yet she uses the tactics of a child playing a game of speed chess. Making risky moves to scare her opponent into a sense of damage control from costly mistakes. Her subconscious made several chess boards appear about, that imitated moves that bait the queen into bad plays. "You act like you understand this conflict but all you are doing is exacerbating a situation! Now that I have spoke to you, it is clear the wheels you have set in motion can not be undone, and the death toll is going to be far more than human or conduit had anticipated." She looks apologetic, "Myself included."Several boards began to show a check mate. "I am honestly at a loss for what lead you to think challenging the powers that be with terrorist tactics is the right course..?" Order steps closer to Scorn beginning to emit light, in doing so increasing the shadow of her conversation partner. "You have trapped any who wish to lower the bloodshed into a position where they must join you or fight you" Her hand grasped the mini-vest of Scorn as she pulled her even closer. "Order does require blood. I just wish the one that set this in motion was not more blind than I." She sighs as she relinquished her grasp "As much as I would find satisfaction in at least attempting to maim you, I feel the ramification of weakening your influence would be far more detrimental than pushing it through." Order for the sake of her point fired a beam of light at the general direction of the other two nearby conduits, not dangerous just enough to inform them that the pair was more than aware of their presence. "I am watching. And if I don't like what I see, I will burn away your shadows. I would ask you for more but standing out here exposed with your men so close, lets just say I really don't trust you. " She starts to levitate "We will be in touch." Not even waiting for a retort she beams off in direction of the vanguards. A cell number was left burned in the stone from where she left...(Yeah shes not gunna regret that later) ---"Migel" The girls stern but rather blunt refusal made it Crystal clear. "Now now, lying to me is a federal offense. I had no intention of taking you back, afterall, its not like you have done much outside of serve drinks for some time." The man reclined in the chair, and as if on que the drink had been placed in-front of him. The barkeep wanted to come to the girls aid but the badge just sitting out like that, it was clearly a dare. "You know I could make your life hell, and all of your friends lives hell. I have quite the file on you, and the potential that you may follow down the path of your sister." He grabs the rather plain drinking glass and sips at it before he continued. "Lets pretend you cooperate with me, and you tell me what you know about her. I give you a rather large sum of money, enough to finish off your car payments in addition those, while rather quaint credit card debts disappear." The mans gaze acts inviting but his words, do not seem like those of a normal agent. Nor does his phone when he sets it on the table, if anything the phone is the most unsettling part. "Look Miss Drogoth,im not asking you to help me kill your sister or even get you arrested. All I want, is information. It would help my....Investigation out immensely if you would consider it." He places a pure copper card on the table, it shines as if freshly mint and has his figure sculpted onto it....probably the most off putting aspect of the entire encounter.

Scorn Scorn remained where she was a grin still on her face from the affair that transpired."Ah but like any good chess player I let you see what I want you to see, I lull you either into security or paranoia or even thinking I'm foolish. As much light as you wish to shine to try and dampen my shadows in truth only the opposite shall happen for shadow is born from light. The brighter the light the larger the shadow. We shall indeed be in touch Order. More then you think for now I let you see what I want you to see as I create my web," she said to herself as she looked at the number left behind ",I'm sure we will either be best friends or mortal enemies but either way things shall indeed be fun."

Cruor Cruor simply raised an eyebrow at the boy, wondering if that was him trying his hand at intimidation. If so, he wasn't very good at it. 'So his ability has something to do with sound, very interesting and possibly useful. He could be useful, but I think it best to allow him to call us on his own terms, he seems like a stubborn one.' "I'll be out of your hair then, just wanted to see why a conduit was spying on Scorn's meeting with Order. However before I leave, I give you a gift." Cruor held out his hand and collected a small amount of blood, forming it into the Reaper's logo, before he snapped his fingers, crystalizing the blood instantly. "If you ever want to sow a little more chaos into the world, just break this and I'll come find you. Consider it an invitation to the Reapers, if you feel so inclined, as it seems you could use some excitement in your life. And with that, I'll be on my way." He handed the sigil to the boy, and then proceeded to walk towards the roof's edge. Suddenly, the blood beast that he had sent to transport Jacob smashed down on to the roof, seemingly from out or nowhere, growling slightly at the boy before dissolving back into liquid and flowing back into the canisters. "Also, as a bit of advice, next time you try to intimidate someone, break something, be it stones or bones. Show your strength through actions, not words or parlor tricks like what you did wiith your voice. Just something to thing about." Cruor then leaped off the roof, using his blooc tendrils to give him the extra boost of power he needed to launch him over to the roof of city hall, where he landed with a crash across from his mistress. "So I take that since she shot at me, Order didn't decide join us. Can't say I'm too surprised." Natsha and Nova Nova pushed Natasha off of him, turning around to face the new guy but also keeping an eye on his sister in case she tried to charge him from behind. "Sure, we can give you a tour, just follow me. And watch out for Natasha, she bites." "Go fuck yourself Nova." Nova ignored her sister and took Jacob by the hand, leading him through the rest of the hideout. "The room we were just in was Natsha's, mines in an off shoot tunnel down this way." He pointed down aways, showing another makeshift wall, this one decorated with a bunch of graffiti art, mostly ones of angels doing various good deeds. The art was very good, and the subject was quite the contrast from those on the other door. "I did the graffiti, Cruor says that I'm an artistic genius, but I just practice a whole lot. Not much else for me to do around here." Natasha, who was behind them an riding top of the blood wolf, didn't say anything on the manner, as she knew she couldn't due anything artistic for the life of her, except maybe her face paint, and even that wasn't very well done. She could say a lot of things about her brother, but she couldn't say he was a bad artist. Nova continued on with his explanation of how the base was set up, "Cruor and some of the other Reapers have rooms in the train cars, and Cruor has a entire tunnel to himself. You're not allowed to go in their without his permission though, so we won't be going in there for now, it's the tunnel with the big red skull over the covering. Scorn's room is somewhere around here, I don't know where though. Do some exploring to find a tunnel you like, when you do, we'll get to work building up a privacy wall for it. We also have a storage area, for weapons and clothes, on that big freight car in the back." Nova ended his short tour by pointing at the large Freight car that was near the very end of the tunnel. It was large and covered in various graffiti, a bunch of skeletons reaching out with clawed hands, baring their teeth like fangs and staring into your soul with glowing red eyes. Nova released Jacob's hand, jogging up to the sliding door and opening it up. Inside one could see a coat rack holding various reaper jackets and hoodies, of various colors, though the dominants were red, white, and black. Their was also a number of guns inside, such as AK-47's, shotguns, hunting rifles, and even a few RPGs. "So, that's the end of the tour, so go ahead and pick out your reaper jacket and we'll go back to Natasha's room, it's the only one where we can get her laptop to work properly, so that's where the two of us usually spend our time. Any questions?" Ash Ash and the Vanguard were currently still at Washington Avenue, helping with clean up and re-cinstruction as well as applying medical aid to anyone who need it. Luckily, their were no casualties, though the men that Scorn had attacked would be scarred for life, physically and probably mentally as well. Sandy, whose real name was Rick Stevens as what could be seen from his wallet, was currently unconscious, his face scrunched in a pained expression, moaning every few seconds in pain. Ash looked at the man, unable to contain the rage he was feeling. What the hell gave those Syndicate goon the right to take away a conduit's powers, to leave them in a state such as this. He clicked his tongue as he turned around, facing Ace as he came up to speak to him. Ace was a tall man with a shock of dark hair, somewhat tan skin, and intense grey eyes. He was wearing a casual outfit of a black t-shirt and some jeans, though it bore a covering of dust from his work at re-stabilizing the less damaged buildings and creating a frame work around the more damaged ones to avoid further collapse. "Sir, to be blunt, I think you should have bagged Scorn right then and there, she was open and we outnumbered her three to two, with more on the way." "Did we really," Ash asked, taking a drag of his cigarette in an attempt to calm himself down, "Scorn was right about one thing, we don't know how many Conduit are sympathetic to her cause. They may not be radical enough to join a group like the Reapers, but they are still out there. Besides, it would have done more harm then good, you know that we're in over are head enough finacially without having to add the destruction that fight would have caused on top of it. Trust me, I want her locked up in the Cay as much a you do, but we have to be careful how we act. As far as the government sees it, we're little better than the reapers, and that's only because they can control us. If we want to start helping conduits get a better name for themselves, then start thinking with your head, not your heart ace." Ash dismissed Ace with a wave of his hand, looking around as the Vanguard went to work. Lucy, and african-american woman who was a silk conduit and a certified nurse, was providing treatment to the CTU soldiers that had gotten injured in the fighting, Ace went back to stabilizing buildings, and Stephen, a sand conduit as well, was busy cleaning up the huge mess of sand and loading it into dump trucks. 'This mess could have been much worse without us around, we have to show people that Conduits can help people more than we can hurt them'. That's the first step to clsoing the rifts between normal humans and Conduits, and the Vanguard were the ones building the bridge. 'If only people like Scorn weren't constantly tryng to burn it down.'
