Name: Orion De'Laflour [b]Age:[b] 25 Gender: Male Personality: True to his word, and not at all modest, Orion is a devoted and lighthearted young Mage. He has a habit of saying exactly what's on his mind, or how he feels, regardless of the consequence. His witty remarks are equally paired with intelect of years training under the circle of Magi. Role/Title: Mage | Born in Analia, one of the most magical territories in the country of Gaea, Orion found himself living in the lap of noble luxury. Son to the King's advisor, Orion has been around tomes and the way of Magi for as long as he can recall. History: Quite the bumbling apprentice, Orion was constantly shadowing his father around Analia, eager to meet a new stranger and please them with his enchanting retelling's of dragons and men, clashing against the battlefield of lore. He would further excite and amaze the travelers visiting Analia by showcasing his magical abilities, first the flowers made of light, then with minor healing incantations, and finally, a show of him morphing into his spirit form. While those who watched him fawned over the young mage, he lapped up the attention like a puppy starving for a bone. Soon, his magical abilities provided him with more than just the opportunity to charm an audience. With training from his father, and other Magi from Analia and from afar, he learned how to truly become one with the magic that boiled in his blood. Years had been poured into his training before Orion had become a man of full respect in Analia's court. It was expected of him to follow in his father's footsteps. Expected to, at least. In the heat of summer, as the invisible waves of warmth blanketed his skin, the young mage decided to visit his steed, Neva, before the sun decided to rest and let night consume the sky. The bright flame of newly emerged dragon lilies sparkled against the cool aura of the townsfolk. The day had been long, with courtly struggles and the unbridled thirst for power from man. It was a relief, to say the least, to be out in the fresh summer air. Of course, this was before Orion found himself bloodied and ashamed, laying against the hard ground. Challenged to his claim as the next in line for advisor, Orion found himself unable to decline. He hadn't gotten much farther than the plaza when a power hungry, troll of a man, plodded over to him with his head held in confidence. In Analia, one could only have a hold in prestigious positions if they themselves hold power worthy of such position. Though it seemed odd, challenges never truly occurred in Analia anymore. If anyone wished to have a position out of their reach, they would contact someone with higher standings and make the move politically. Today was quite the day, indeed. Both mages had fought with the elements, fluctuating in power, each quickly becoming drained of their energy. They saw the exhaust in each other's eyes and only spurred on further with their relentless attacks. Orion using wards and ice magic. The dark haired warlock using flames the color of rage, firing it with passion. In the end, the whole plaza had evacuated the premises besides the Magister of the court - Orion's father. Beaten and worn, Orion knew only a way to stall the inevitable. He would lose this, he would lose himself. --- The bumbling young apprentice looked up to his father, wide smile threatening to spill off of his face. "Father, I have a surprise for you!" The dark haired boy laughed as his father knelt down beside him, hand going to stroke his beard in thought. "Why, I wonder what this surprise might be....Might you tell me, m'boy?" His father let loose a smile of his own, crooked at the edges. Letting loose a small giggle, the boy clamped his tiny hands over his father's cloaked shoulders. "I'll show you, pa!" The boy let his smile fade, a deeply focused expression dawning in it's absence. Closing his tender honey coloured eyes, he began to hum softly, the tune was low and melodic, barely audible over the breeze. When his eyes opened, they were aglow with a light similar to the moon. The healing incantation was novice, and one the boy chose to use most often, if not because of the light tune required. Though, something had been added to it, a nerve calming spell that had flowed directly in with the soft melody. The tiny hands that were covering broad shoulders held a faint green orb within them, now traveling between him, and the site of contact. Knowing his father worked tirelessly with staff in tow, he figured a soothing spell might be nice. When the healing incantation was done and over, the boy beamed up at his father, who in turn, ruffled his hair. "You're making out to be my little wizard, aren't you?" He laughed before scooping the boy up in his arms. "With this much power, you'll make a fine apprentice. Power, the only thing you can rely on here." He set the boy down gently, before heading back towards his chambers. Just as his fingertips brushed against the door, he glanced over his shoulder at the boy. "Don't let me down, Orion." --- Standing with the moon at his back, and blood staining his white robe, he began to hum softly. His eyes flickering with a dance of both light and pain. Holding his side with one hand, and clinging to his staff with the other, Orion held fast. His opponent, with eyes as brown as his own, glanced over to the Magisters' presence. Perhaps it was a trick of the moonlight, but Orion thought he saw the ghost of a smile forming on those dark lips. Leaves clustered around them began to whirl in the air, circling around them, drawn in by the excess energy hanging in the air like the pale moon above. Drawing his staff closer to his chest, Orion prepared to cast a defensive ward around himself - his spell was interrupted by a sharp pain stabbing into his back. As Orion fell to the ground, knees catching against the pavement, he looked up at the smug victor in front of him. He co - wait... In front? That shot was a short burst spell, he should've been able to see it if it were cast from... Orion could feel his blood run cold. The only person that could've cast that was - "You've let me down, son." The voice was riddled with age and filled to the brim with disdain. Orion could only blink through the haze that had swallowed him whole. "I've done more than what you've asked. Let me finish this, father." 'Father?' Orion could feel his world began to unravel itself like magical scrolls, revealing the things that would otherwise be left to the imagination. His stomach churned. He turned his disbelieving gaze to his father, his questioning stare met a cold calculating stare. With a wave of his hand, Orion's father muttered a simple worded sleep spell. Orion, too weak to resist, was easily lulled into shutting his eyes. Sleep whispered lovingly in his mind, slowing his heart to a rhythmic beat, his staff slipping out of his numb hand. Before slipping away into the abyss that called out to him, he heard brief shuffling, and a muffled voice saying: "No - It is finished. He has lost everything, why not let him live? He will be going far away from here. There is no way he will return." It wasn't until he had groggily woken the next day, when Orion truly registered what had happened, and where he was being sent. As soon as he stood and gathered up his staff in his arms, it hit him like the waves hit the side of the small carrier ship. He had been beloved by all, betrayed by the one closest to him, stripped of everything. Now, he was standing on a carrier ship filled with grimy pirates and travelers, all headed to the same place; Waylock. Anything Extra: Orion's Theme - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sp7PS_UN8Lo

Name: Rhysln Silverspring Age: 22 Gender: Female Personality: Upon Ovorion's arrival, Rhysln had been impeccably naïve and over trusting. She had been taught to see the good in people first and foremost and tried to keep that in mind when she inherited the throne rather early due to her parents untimely passing due to illness. Even though she is no longer so quick to trust, she is still kind and will do what she feels is right, regardless of whether or not it is to her advantage. She cares deeply for her sister and would easily throw herself before the sword if it was to save her. She is loyal to the three knights who came to their aid during the coup and trusts them above all else. She, however, is not the romantic type. She has no immediate care for such things and wouldn't allow them to get in the way of her ultimate goal of reclaiming the throne. She isn't all that unaware, on that same note, that she does need to marry to keep their line going, it's just not the top of her to do list. Role/Title: She is the queen of Waylox. Currently, she's working as a storekeeper, mostly just inventory and keeping up with the money. She also has been trained to wield a sword, much better with them than axes. She has no skill with the bow and arrow or magic, so she hopes to find someone else that can handle those areas during battle. History: Rhysln's parents died when she was 15, leaving the young princess an early queen, having to rely on advisors to help her run the country. Luckily, it's not as large as their neighbor over the mountains, Caradia, which calls itself an empire, but it was still no easy task to manage. She didn't shirk her duties, however, and learned from her parents most trusted advisors how to rule. By 17, she thought she had it pretty well underhand, though by no means was she ready to handle the whole thing on her own. It was at this point that Ovorion came to her, saying he had a device that could harvest food at a faster pace and therefore get the food back to her people sooner. She had a bad feeling about him and her sister had warned her that she thought that the "bad man" was going to hurt her, but she couldn't ignore him either. He had gone and told people in the towns about what he was proposing and she knew if she ignored him, the people would be quite unhappy with her for not caring about them, especially with the winter months coming up. So she went. She took two guards appointed by the captain with her and went to meet Ovorion in a field that was "large enough" for his contraption. Her heart had been her throat the whole ride there, the three just on horse back, not taking a coach or anything with them. One of the knights stopped her when the field wasn't too far ahead and the other went to see if there really was a device of any kind. But the enemy had anticipated their wariness and attacked the three. As they escaped, the forces returned to town and attacked her people. But there was nothing she could do. They were outnumbered and people within the city guard had been bought- something she hadn't considered a possibility. But her two knights rushed her to safety and within hours, the captain joined them on the road with her younger sister in tow. That was what lead them to finding their way to Farthing Village. A small place in the corner of the map that most forgot existed until they saw it from a distance. It was situated with its back to the mountains and the Deep Woods to its side. There was no way for an enemy to sneak up on the town, but it also didn't leave much room for escape should Ovorion track them down that far. But Rhysln wasn't going to be idle. She knew she would have to take back her home at the earliest opportunity and she couldn't rely on everyone to protect her. So she had the knights teach her the art of battle while she blended in with the people of the village. She cut her hair and dressed the part, though convincing her sister to do so was a much more challenging task. Now that she's sure of her ability and she's sure that Ovorion isn't expecting her, she has sent her knights out to the other towns to start trying to find people that might be willing to rise against him. She isn't sure what to expect, but she knows she has to try. Anything extra: Regardless of the life she's lived so far, she is still prim, proper, and sheltered and will react in one way or another to things such as swearing or anything lewd. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nklvuocGCAQ

Name: Krager Corbray Age: 46 Gender: Male Personality: Krager is, for the most part, a just and honorable man, firm but fair in his dealings with his subjects. His belief is that power is a responsibility rather than a privilege, and he is quick to remind other lords and ladies of this whenever he sees the common corruption in the noble houses. He has a great love for his family (With the exception of his deceased eldest son for obvious reason) and those that serve under him, and has been known to challenge knights to duels for grave insults to his servants. Aside from this, he is depenable, holds a digust for sham and a contempt for pettiness. Role/Title: Noble, Lord of Karthwasten, the hold Farthing belongs to (If that's cool. If not I'll edit right away.) History: There isn't too much to be said about Krager. Born the eldest son to Barnabus Corbray, he was grew admiring his father for the deeds he had done on the battlefield and his just ruling of his hold. All of his childhood and teenage years were spent emulating his father and preparig for when he would next rule. Against most holds' traditions he married a common woman, a blacksmith from Farthing, with his father's blessing and with her sired four sons. Sadly his wife passed from a stroke only months after he took up his father's title after his death. In the next few years he gained some large amount of fame and infamy when, after discovering his eldest son had made a habit of raping village girls in secret, he beat the beat the boy to death in full view of his squire and master-at-arms. shouting "I'll have a corpse for an eldest before I have a fucking rapist as my heir!". Some nobles decried him as a murderer and fool, while others, along with a huge portion of his peasants, proclaimed him a pillar of justice in his lands. Upon Ovorion's usurping of the throne, Krager was among the first nobles to call for rebellion, and since then his soldiers have been fighting the traitors to a lopsided stalemate, only barely managing to keep them from Farthing, and the heir to the throne. Anything extra: Karthwasten's primary trade stock is cider, apples and pigs. Just for why not?

Name: Ilsibin Haeg Age: 25 Gender: Male Personality: Ilsibin is a quiet and honorable man. He's content to spend his time fine-tuning his crossbow or some other device he's crafted. His quiet nature doesn't mean that he forgoes polite company. He relishes the chance to argue and discuss the finer points of kings, laws, and outlooks. The main deterrent is usually the uncouth company he's forced to keep. Beyond this his great flaws are that he tends to hold grudges, nursing a great deal of anger towards those that wrong him, and a little bit of a superiority complex when it comes to the uneducated. Role/Title: Originator. One of the technic knights of Caradia. His talents include the knowledge of engineering and architecture as well as some skill with cunning traps and devices. Though he has a sword, Ilsibin prefers to attack from afar using his accurate and deadly crossbow. History: Like his fellows, Ilsibin was taken from his homeland at a young age and raised to be an originator. Ha he been older, he might have realized it was the Empire's way of obliterating his people's way of life. Tinkering, sciences, physical training, and philosophy ruled his childhood. Eventually he and his fellows fit the mold of the genteel warriors that Caradia sought. Years later, as a man, Ilsibin joined forces from all over Caradia to oppose the rising undead horde of the skeletal Hill King. After only one day of fierce battle, something happened. The field was cleared of combatants in a cacophony of dirt, wind, and sound. In the aftermath Ilsibin and a woman named Jolu found their life forces inexorably bound together. They would have sought help if the remaining forces of Caradia didn't start to systematically slay the survivors. With no other options or prospects and the betrayal of his benefactors leaving a bitter taste, Ilsibin and Jolu fled the Empire. At Jolu's urging, the two became fortune-hunters. Recently the word of rebellion has called them to Waylox. Hoping for a decent payoff, The two have thrown in with the rebels for the time being. Though Jolu is optimistic that they can switch sides and get a better deal from Ovorion as the civil war rages on, Ilsibin feels a stronger attachment to the rebels and and the high-minded ideals of their queen. Name: Jolu Xoyr (Psena Nict) Age: 27 Gender: Female Personality: Jolu Xoyr tends to glide from one situation to the next, using wit and charm to ingratiate herself with the company she's currently keeping. She has a quick mind, a love of adventure and travel, and a passion for life. For all these virtues, her vices are just as great. She's often selfish, greedy, and prideful. Role/Title: None. Mages capable of discovering her past might dub her a termagant for the abuse and shame she heaped upon her teacher. Jolu is very skilled with the manipulation, binding, and endowment of spirits; like the other mages of her ilk. The most unruly and useful of spirits she finds are usually drawn and sealed into an unassuming scroll case for later use. History: When the Orkaine people were beset by the Caradia Empire, they gracefully folded into the superpower. Thus they managed to keep much of their culture and heritage while gaining the resources the Empire had to offer. One of these traditions was of the spiritualist mages that called Orkaine home. When she was starting to mature into comely young woman, Psena began to manifest a talent for the art and was inducted into their number. Mourdeen, her master and teacher, taught her simple trick and charms, but Psena always wanted more. She wanted to live the stories of mages besting demons and plundering the low places. One night while Mourdeen was far away on business, she decided to take the knowledge for herself. She escaped with as much information, spirits, and wealth as she could carry. Psena made for the independent Colethe lands to the south. By the time Mourdeen returned, she was long gone. Years later Psena returned under the moniker of Jolu Xoyr. Urbane and supremely confident, she had learned well from her stolen research and expected offers and excitement to come her way. It did, but in the form of forced conscription into Caradia's army to face the Hill King. Her talents lent themselves naturally to combating his necromancy. Unfortunately it brought with it a lot more scrutiny from other Orkaine mages that wondered where this upstart mage had come from. After the battle and fleeing with Ilsibin, Jolu tried to break the bond that tied them, but all her efforts were for naught. Deciding to turn this event into and opportunity, Jolu proposed that they pool their talents to fortune-hunt until they could find a way to sever the connection. Ilsibin eventually agreed and that was that. Both: Anything extra: Their life bond keeps them from traveling too far from each other. Distances greater than 50 ft. cause nausea and pain. The greater the distance the more sever the symptoms get. This also means that a death for one of them will most likely kill the other. Name: Thom Eicren Age: 25 Gender: Male Personality: Thom can be described simply as the loudest thief alive, he's overly talkative, lude, and his habits leave nothing to be be desired he is often bragging about heists that he has pulled off to anyone within ear shot even if it gets him in trouble with the guards, if his bragging and obnoxious attitude don't throw people off he is a heavy drinker and gambler often found in a inn with a woman in his lap, dice in hand, and a mug of ale not far out of reach this thief is the very embodiment of sleaze, but when it comes to work he is serious and he always gets the job done with the utmost tact, as well as the fact that he is not all bad there is a certain kindness to him especially around children that seems to stand out. Role/Title: Thom is a master thief if the rumors are true he can get into and go just about anywhere, can find weakness in just about every building and around every security detail, as well as his training as a thief he has training in a variety of weapons and poisons some time when he got into some "shady" work that he doesn't like to mention. His weapon skills lie with a small collapsible cudgel of his design, a falchion that's always on his hip and a bow. History: Thom's mother was a whore and his father was a thief and agent to the kingdom of Waylock, Thom's mother left shortly after his birth handing him off to his father luckily with the amount of coin he was bringing in the man could hire a maid for the boy while he did his work. This left the boy without his fathers guiding hand early on in his life and instead he was taught entirely by the maid about things such as reading, writing, and basic mathematics. But Thom wanted more, he wanted to be like his father he wanted to fight enemies of the king and at the age of ten the boy got his wish. Thom's father saw potential in the boy so he trained him, and in their training the two became as close as father and son should be. His lessons were complicated and the training was hard and for every mistake the boy earned a new bruise or scar. The training hardened him and made a near perfect thief out of him. At the age of sixteen Thom and his father parted ways with Thom's father having nothing left to teach the boy so he stuck out on his own and eventually found a noble who was worth stealing from, the noble in question was scum and was known to treat those under his hold like they didn't exist so Thom disguised himself as a wandering minstrel and robbed the man blind. He gave a majority of the loot to a village and left with the rest. As Thom went he made deals with people under the table for money he was known for breaking people out of jail, or stealing a valuable item or artifact. His success at these jobs coupled with the fact that he bragged about him gained him attention and with attention came trouble, a woman came to Thom asking him to do a lucrative job and kill someone of great importance, at first he refused and turned her away but each time she came back with an offer better than the one before eventually he accepted. She set him up with a contact who could help him and sent him out, his contact taught him a variety of poisons and how to make them so he could get creative. His job was simple the man he was to kill was very influential and his contact wanted him out of the way. So Thom did it without hesitation he poisoned the mans soup and walked away. He knew his job was done when the very next day they announced the man died, his reward wasn't the vast sum of wealth he was promised, his reward was being sold out and put into a prison cell for murder to live out the rest of his days. Eventually the kingdom changed hands and fell into control of Ovorion, Thom used the resulting upheaval to escape into the night and return home to his father so he would have a safe place to hide. What he found drove him to rage, his father had been tortured and murdered for his loyalty to the royal family. In many ways he blamed both sides of the conflict for the death of his father but ultimately it was Ovorion's fault, and when one of the queen's knights found Thom he signed on with the rebels and has been with them ever since. Denemika of the Bellady Nation Name: Denemika. But I like it when you call me 'Mika.' I do. Age: 24. Gender: Can you not see? I am 6'4". 210lbs. I am very much a woman. ~~~~~ Role/Title: “Hunter”. Sister of the Moon and Priestess of the Ground. Mana Enhanced: Can see in the dark, move in silence, merge with shadow, sharpened senses and reactions, nocturnal animal affinity, bond with a tiger, cast spells of oracle and messaging with spirits. Skills: Rituals and rites, keen senses, hunting/survival/first-aid, strength, climbing, running, close combat, spear, dagger, shield, short swords, armour weaving, animal training I have passed my rites. I know all the rituals of my people. I am a Priestess of the Ground. My Mana is strong with the Earth. My body and actions tells me so. But I am also a Sister of the Moon. I am the fastest hunter along the ground and through the trees. I have fought, I have killed, I have sacrificed enemies of my peoples to send my fallen sisters and brothers to rest easy in their home on the Others' Side. I carry all weaponry and kits necessary upon my person. I have a love-partner, I have a four-legged soul sister, and I have even captured a worthy male. I have birthed one child from that male. I took him and ate its heart so that our baby may be strong and bound to the ground. That baby will be worthy of his rites and rituals; he will be always be there for his people. He has to. But he will never know his birth mother. He will never utter my name. I will never allow him such shame. ~~~~~ Personality: A mother tiger in the body of a woman. Wild, curious, friendly/family-oriented, blunt, violent, tenacious, loyal, honourable/honour-bound, abides by cultural rites and rituals, and flirty, fun and playfully capricious at times. Can read 'outsider' language and speak it at basic levels I miss them. I remember them. All of them. Even though I have no right to keep them so close to my thoughts and heartbeats... I will still remember them even if it is forbidden for them to remember me. I still pray. I still offer the voices of the Ground my songs, dances and blood. They take me to this woman of importance; this Queen. They say I must protect her, fight for her. Live for her; Kill for her. What honour does she have? I am told it is only blood that gives her title; not her actions. What does she do to be revered in awe or fear? Our eldest mothers and leaders have their stories written upon their skin. Each attested and witnessed by ritual; when they preside, the voice of the Mothers in the Ground sing of their deeds, triumphs, failures and pains. So then... this woman... this Queen... I will keep my thoughts to myself to others for the moment. And though I will keep my oath to my people... by sisters and brothers soul embraced by the Ground, I will not be subservient to this Queen unless she proves herself worthy to be respected and followed. I will not... ...unless she has a firm biteable bottom... rawr... hahahah...! ~~~~~ History: Bound by honour to leave her peoples to never return for she will become tainted by outsider forces/customs. But she undertakes the most honourble act of ancestral sacrifice to keep her peoples protected from the ruling outsider takeover. In my homeland, they loved me. I was grown as a hunter. My bloodline is that of large bodied females. Not the lovely plump ones that populate and run the feed and stitch huts, no, I am a big woman grown for pure brutal physicality. I am meant to fight, hunt and protect us. I was not one of the taller girls growing up. They used to fight me and tease me because of who my father was. But I would always push back. I always had to prove that I could run with them. That is how I earned my Face with them. You see, my father was an Outsider. That is who my mother captured; that is where I received my name. Denemika means “Moon eyes.”That is why I like it when you call me Mika. It means Moon. Old Lady Moon watches over the hunters. I love her as much as She still loves me... oh, that silly old maiden... never had her lady parts tickled. That's why she's so fickle. Hahahah... But as I was saying... I earned Face with my sister hunters when I outran the lead one of our pack, Ellianis. But still. She needed to prove she was still lead and so she would be me into submission. But no. I was ready. I waited for that day she would raise fist or weapon to my body. I prepared. I fought back regardless of her size and weaponry. I bested her and beat her bloody. Then I wildly bit her arm, as wildly as a frothed animal would, and marked her. She was mine. I told you I prepared. I was thirteen... and I was absolutely and madly in love with her. Ever since we were little I knew we would be love-partners. When she recovered, we were tattooed and she learned to love me back. She accepted my Face. And she kneeled for my Face in time; She relented and I was to be the lead of our pack. And with such prestige grown amongst hunters, I was also taught the way of a Priestess of the Ground. The years toiled away and the inkings upon my muscular frame reflected just how very large and powerful I had become with not only flowing with Mana but also with Leading Hunt. I was much larger than Ellianis by then. It was strange to stare down upon her rather than the other way around for so long as children that was how we were. But her station was no longer that of a hunter; El became a shaman and ritual leader. Oh, how I miss her dark eyes and soft lips... but El helped me to bond with my newest sister. Yes, I earned a soul-sister. A shaggy, striped four-legged creature with gigantic paws and a disproportionately big and cute head. I killed her mother to take her hide and her feline power. My soul-sister to be was the only surviving cub and so I took the baby tiger in and, by the voices of the Ground, I trained her and performed El's rituals to bond her with my soul. Halajah was mine as much as I was hers. She would become Tomeni's big sister. She would protect him. She would die for him. Live for him; Kill for him. Oh, my sister Hala... Oh, Tomeni... how this mama loves you both so much... I had captured a male from another island tribe. He was not pale like my father, but he was just as worthy. He was large and with eyes twinkling with humour and sparking with wits... well as far as I could tell beyond the fact that he wanted to kill me and eat my own heart. But as soon as he seeded me, and by the confirmation by GrandMama Acasteles that I was indeed with child, I unchained him. He was indeed how I knew him, humour, wits. But he was also great in strength for it took me a while to beat him into awe and revelry of our peoples. And in the end as he screamed to rest with his ancestors, I took his heart. I thanked him and his ancestors and took that piece of his name for the child he provided me. “Kai'Meni” was the male's name and my mother's name was “Torenika.” “To” from my proud mother, “Meni” from his honoured sire. I love you Tomeni, Mama loves you and misses you so much... I can only hope your Mi'Mama Ellianis keeps you loved and your sister Halajah keeps you safe at nights. I see your name upon my breast and my hand. It is only ink, but it is all I have left of you, my little TomTom. I miss you so much, my love, my son, my joy. For came that day... that day the outsiders came to take me away. I left you all behind. My people. My island. My Love, my Sisters and Brothers, my Soul, and my Joy. My heart and home... I left it all behind because the pale male told the grandest of GrandMama's that their beloved Danemika was chosen from the outside to serve their kingdom and their kind. And as with the words of treaty agreement told us, we would exchange one each of our own with one each of theirs. They wanted a great hunter. And in place they left with us a singer. A tiny, frail, yellow headed, blue-eyed weakling girl. I was pried from my station for such a thing... she takes my place. That is not equal. But upon my honour I will take leave now to make my families proud. They will never know my name again; I am now forgotten. But I swear that when the wind blows at night, across the waters of the shores of my island, rustling through the grasses and trees of my homeland and whispers into Hala's striped tiger ears, she will know I am fine and I am still loved; I swear that that cannot be helped. I am bonded to Halajah's soul afterall. And if Elliannis asks Halajah thoughts upon Denemika then it is not my fault if Hala responds. I cannot help it if my love-partner understands the speech of beasts. And I especially cannot help it if my love-partner sings songs to her son TomTom about me during bedtime neath the light of Ol' Lady Moon. I swear it cannot be helped. Very well. Let us meet this woman of importance... let us meet this Queen... ~~~~~ Anything Extra: I am strong... I am strong... I will make them proud. I am strong... I will not... I will not weep...! I--I am so alone out here without my family!! I... I am empty. I am impure. I have nothing... I... I am nothing...

Name: Winter Age: 23 Gender: Female Personality: Winter is as cool and collected as the season she was named for. Elegant, sharp, and unforgiving, her icy exterior hides a wicked rage, festering just below the surface. Over the years she’s learned to hone her emotions to fine points, using them as weapons where she needs to, and cutting away any moral qualms she has about the work she does. Because, believe it or not, every now and then her conscience seeps through her wall of cynicism and reminds her of her life before she was a killer. Usually this is all for naught, though, as she has a will of iron, and once she agrees to do something, no matter how abhorrent, she does it. Winter is control, creativity, and measured fury. Role/Title: Assassin – Though strong for her size, Winter relies primarily on her resourcefulness, flexibility, and ruthlessness to get the job done. She’s capable with most weapons, and is also very proficient in Qiran healing techniques. History: A lifetime ago, there was a girl who went by another name living in the war-torn empire of Yeojin. The two main ethnic groups, the Yeo and the Qira, were in a decades-long conflict, culminating in the Qiran genocide in the last several years. The girl, a Qiran by blood, listened to the sounds of war every day until it invaded her dreams, and she could no longer tell if she was awake or sleeping. The girl’s family was well respected among the other Qira, and her parents were masters of healing. While healing magic wasn’t rare in this world, few had advanced it as far as the Qira. Whether with potions, herbs, magic, or meditation, the Qira had perfected this valuable skill. The girl, though still young and clumsy, was making good progress in her studies. But that ended one day, when she watched the war she spent so many nights dreaming of came to life in her home. Her parents, grandparents, brothers… she saw the Yeo steal them all away and all she could do was cower under the stairs, silent tears trailing after her family. Eventually she pulled herself out of the ashes of her former life. Lost and orphaned, she eventually found her way into the Qiran resistance, which was struggling to fight back against the Yeo. She was valuable due to her healing skills, and continued to refine them as time went on, but it wasn’t enough. That was when she began learning how to kill. She learned to kill with her hands, with a blade, with a wire, with stone… she even learned to alter her healing concoctions into poisons. She learned to sneak and lurk, frighten and beguile. And all of these skills were put to use against the Yeo. Unfortunately, the girl, who had taken the name Winter, was largely inconsequential in the grand scheme of things. The Qira were still being massacred every day, and soon it seemed they would be irradiated completely and the Yeo would move on. That is, until, the queendom of Waylox stepped in. Many are grateful for Waylox’s intervention, happy that the death and war that has plagued the empire for so long has finally ended. Others, more disillusioned, claim that they had only chosen to step in after decades of bloodshed because they feared that the Yeo would turn their attention to them once the Qira were dealt with. Winter, hardened and bitter by years of pain and violence, was a member of the latter group. With the fighting finished, Winter could no longer see a reason to stay in Yeojin. Her people were a crumbling shell of what they once were, the infant time of peace left everyone on-edge and highly regulated, and there was no longer much demand for her set of skills. Winter was still damaged by the genocide, and unable to let go of her pain long enough to stay and help her people rebuild. And so she left for Waylox, putting her skills to use there. Ovorion quickly found her and hired the assassin. He saw the resentment she held for the royal family, and capitalized it, earning her loyalty, if not her trust. The large sum of money he paid her was appreciated, but more than anything she wanted the Wayloc queen to pay for seemingly stepping in only when it was relevant to her interests. She wanted her to pay for stepping in too late. Winter was instrumental to Ovorion’s coup, quietly eliminating those who refused to be paid off. When word got to the usurper that the exiled queen was gathering a party to try and take back her throne, he sent his assassin to take care of the situation. And thus, Winter has inserted herself into the young queen’s party on Ovorion’s orders. She is to gain their trust, learn what she can, and when their hope is at its highest, she is to strike. Ovorion knows that simply dispatching the queen will do nothing. People will just rally around another name – likely the princess – and carry their late queen like a martyr. They need to eliminate more than just names on a list. They need to eliminate hope. While traveling with the queen’s party, Winter is acting under the guise of a young Qiran healer, inept in battle, but a useful ally to have. She supposedly volunteered out of gratitude to the royal family for their part in ending the Yeo-Qira conflict. Anything extra: Winter's Theme

Name: Nautica Silverspring Age: 16 Gender: Female Personality: Although Nautica can be predictably childish at times, she's determined to be useful. She hates being told she's not doing something right as she just figuring out how to do it, but will obstinately continue to learn something until she reaches what she feels is an acceptable goal. She hates being looked down on just because she's so much younger than her sister. She's also one to hold grudges should you piss her off. All that being said, she is not a classy princess. She's lived in Farthing all of her teenaged years so it's been the most impressionable on her. Role/Title: She is the princess of Waylox. Rhysln isn't quite sure what she's going to do with her as she hasn't really bothered to pay attention during any weapons training and barely knows how to use a sword much less anything else. Or so she thinks. Following her nature, Nautica took upon herself to learn how to wield something. Swords frightened her at the idea that she could actually hurt herself if she wielded it improperly. So instead, she leaned how to use something that could keep her back from the blades but allow her to be useful. She knows how to use a bow and arrow. History: Nautica was 12 when her sister took the throne. She still had a simple understanding world and so when she saw Ovorion, the first thing that came to mind was "He's a bad man." She tried to tell Rhysln, but her sister told her that she didn't have a choice. She had to go meet the bad man away from the safety their home else the little trust she had earned from the people would go away. She knew how hard her sister had worked to that gain that trust and how badly she wanted to make things better for her people, so she stopped trying to talk her out of it. She stood by the door the next day and watched her leave. And she stayed there until the attack came, kicking and screaming any time anyone tried to move her from that spot. She even pitched a fit with the captain when he picked her up over his shoulder, but he snapped at her to be quiet so he could get her out of there alive. She didn't fight him after that. She got on the horse with him and they met up with Rhysln and the knights, riding as far from the city as they could get. Being outnumbered didn't do much for them in that case. Within the first couple of months within the realms of Farthing Village, she saw her sister begin to train so that she might take back their home. At 12 and 13, Nautica was wanting to try everything there was to try, but Rhysln chastised her for being troublesome and not taking it seriously. So Nautica picked one. She didn't like the idea of swords and most natives of Waylox didn't use magic. She also had no skill for being quiet so that eliminated anything that required that. Instead, she picked up the bow and arrow. Due to her nature of hating to be told that she's messing up while she's learning, she only attended a few formal sessions to really get the basics. The rest she figured out on her own. She would sneak out while Rhysln and the knights were busy doing their thing- she apparently wasn't old enough to listen for awhile- and she went and practiced on her own. It was hard. She messed up a lot, but she was determined to be thought of as useful to her sister. Plus she wanted to sink one right between the "bad man"'s eyes. And that was how she got to perfecting her skill. She imagined she was getting that shot, the chance to take down the man that ruined everything her parents and sister had worked hard to establish. He pit the country back in to a dark age it hadn't seen in three generations, crumbled the foundations of peace that they had slaved to make. She made her first bulls-eye when her mind was focused on that. And she nearly broke the bow because she was overwhelmed with the urge to punch something. When Rhysln decided, finally, that they were going to take back the throne, Nautica started practicing even harder. Staying up late at night if she couldn't get out till everyone went to bed, and then getting chastised by her sister for being lazy. She doesn't want to admit to practicing until she gets it as close to perfect as possible, but she gets very tempted on those mornings. She's more than eager to get back to the castle and give that bastard Ovorion what he deserves. Anything extra: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=djgCiV4jJUE

Name:Rand Thorsa Age:23 Gender: Male Personality:Some say Rand is built from stone. He does not show much emotion, he says barely two words to anyone besides the queen, and he cares not for the lives he takes in the name of the queen, he is fiercely loyal to the queen to the point where it's more like worship than it is loyalty, he is also a man of honor who will not kill an unarmed or disarmed opponent, and he will not kill or harm the innocent. Role/Title: Rand is a knight to the the true queen of Waylox. His skills lie in that of the blade where even in his few short years of battle he is considered a master at. The blade is literally an extension of his arm and when he fights it seems more akin to dancing than battle, he is also fair in the way of tactics, riding a horse, and using a lance like a usual knight. History:Rand was born outside the kingdom, the son of a miller and his wife. They had a happy life together despite being poor they tried to give the boy everything they never had, but things like that never last. Shortly after the boy's thirteenth birthday a war broke out between two of the nobles and the noble that controlled Rand's village drafted everybody above the age of twelve. His father was deemed to important to go to war and instead was switched to making and repairing boots for the lords army. But Rand wasn't so lucky he was fitted and sent to battle for a war he didn't want to fight. Knowing this many of the sergeants and leaders within the military took advantage of how young the children were and basically brainwashed them into seeing the enemy as horrible people who would kill their families if they didn't fight. Rand bought this and he became fiercely loyal to his noble lord seeing him as just and trying to bring peace to the situation when it was actually him who was the aggressor. But nonetheless Rand fought and in his first battle he and the other children proved themselves to be fanatics who stood their ground against an ambush, many of the kids died but somehow Rand lived and managed to kill a few of the enemy which was not expected of them. When reinforcements arrived they found 43 kids out of the 400 sent to the fight still standing Rand included. The children went from battle to battle, their numbers slowly dwindling down from 43 to 26, from 26 to 12. And each time Rand defied the odds by remaining standing a field of carnage around them. His last battle came in the form of a siege against one of the great enemies fortresses, arrows came down like a deadly rain, and things seemed like this would be their last battle. But Rand and children let out a rallying cry and stormed the ladders leading up to the battlements they pushed the enemy back and gave his lord time to regroup and help take the walls. Eventually the fortress fell and they were ready to move on. But then the country of Waylox intervened and put a stop to the fighting. The soldiers of Waylox, it's here where one of the knights heard of Rand's exploits and saw a natural soldier in the boy. So the knight gave the boy the offer to become his squire and come to Waylox with him. Rand agreed and together the two returned to Waylox. The knight taught Rand a great many things, how to use the blade better, how to ride a horse and joust, and military tactics among other things. At age sixteen Rand was released from being a squire and knighted by the kingdom of Waylox, becoming one of their youngest knights in service. And over the years he served the kingdom with honor and distinction. Always setting their goals above his own and the rumors were that he was to be made a vassal and given a fief to better serve the kingdom but that all changed with Ovorion. The usurper tricked the queen and ambushed them. So he listened to the queens orders and fled with her until they were met on the road by the captain. When they reached their safe haven the queen had them sent out to bring allies to her aid so Rand obeyed. The first person he approached was his old master, but what shocked him was his older master had betrayed the queen and joined with Ovorion. His master revealed to him that he had been helping Ovorion in the shadows, this crushed Rand but nonetheless he gave the man a chance to redeem himself and help the true ruler of Waylox but his master instead decided to let his blade speak for him and the two clashed. In the end Rand slew his master but not without earning many grievous wounds, after the fight Rand slunk away trying to get back to the queen but he didn't make it before he succumbed to his wounds and passed out. When he awoke he found he was in a village and one of the villagers found him and healed him, he stayed for awhile and helped the village before moving on to return to his queen. Anything extra:N/a

Name: Blayze Corvana Age: 22 Gender: Male Personality: Blayze seems to be a child trapped in an old person’s body at times. He loves to mess around and pull jokes on people. He will be your best friend and will be as loyal to you as he can. He can sometimes be very quiet when you first meet him, but he opens up pretty quickly. He can be serious and whenever he is, he gets whatever things are commanded of him done. He does not disobey a direct order from the Queen and will never ever betray her. He has this quirk to where he cannot actually directly disobey an order from a person in charge of him. He feels a moral obligation to carry out every command that he could from that person, no matter if it is the captain or the Queen or the Princess. He would do anything that they told him to do. Role/Title: He is a noble knight to the true Queen of Waylox. He is much untrained at close, hand to hand or sword, fighting, but he is an amazing archer and can make almost impossible shots for a normal archer. He can even shoot riding backwards on a horse. He began to get better at sword fighting after his father died History: Blayze grew up inside Waylox during the Royal Family’s reign. Every time they had a public appearance, he and his family were there. His father was a knight before him and this is what inspired Blayze to become a knight himself. His father was a knight who protected the former Queen and King (This Queen's Parents) and he began to teach Blayze sword fighting when he was about six years old. Blayze’s mother was a seamstress working in the lower levels of the castle. She caught a deadly sickness from one of the pieces that she had been working on for the young Queen when he was ten years old and died on his eleventh birthday. After his mother’s death, his father threw himself headlong into protecting the newborn Princesses of the Queen and King and began to ignore Blayze more often. He would come home tired and fall immediately to sleep, not saying one thing to Blayze. He would ignore Blayze for most of the day and when Blayze asked him, he would say painfully, “You look too much like your mother for me to look at you.” This hurt Blayze very much and he began to train harder than ever so his father would not see his mother and rather see him as a man himself. Once the former King and Queen died, his father protected the new Queen until his last breath. His father died inside their house and was completely alone. Blayze had been out training with a few of the other younger knights when his father came home and practically collapsed on the ground. Blayze’s father died of natural causes when Blayze was only seventeen. Blayze then took up his father’s place in the Queen’s army and began to protect the new Queen himself. He worked hard every day, even training in his periods of free time throughout the day. He wanted to make his father as proud as he could. He knew his father would watch over himself as he began to work beside the Queen. He began to refine his sword fighting skills as well as his archery skills. He began to get better and better every day. When the Queen needed protection from the tyrant known as Ovorion, Blayze was one of the first to step up. He knew that this was the moment that he had been waiting for his whole life: the way that he could make his father proud. He would protect the Queen until his last breath, like his father had done before he had died. They escorted her away into the night and Blayze was mostly the one helping to train the Queen and Princess in combat before they could come back to the castle and claim it back for the right of her Majesty herself. He taught them everything he could, ranging from archery to hand-to-hand combat, sword fighting to knife throwing, anything that had to do with combat he taught them. He would stay up late at night keeping watch outside and almost never sleep. He even forgot to eat meals sometimes. He was dedicated to the two royalty. Anything extra: Blayze has a slight, very small crush on the Queen, but he ignores it because he knows that it will put both himself and the Queen and Princess in danger.

Radiant/Rodent Name: Radiant. A pleasure to meet you, it is. Age: 17, but I'm 18 next... week? Aye, next week it is. Gender: Lass. ~~~~~ Role/Title: “Dancing Fire Mage”. Formerly: Radiant of the Extraordinary Sisters Elementalistas!!! Still goes by: Sister Radiant Mana Enhanced: Can see in the infra-red spectrum, heat resistance, fire immunity. When dancing: sharpened senses and reactions, heightened acrobatic agility and strength/endurance for performances (dancing, climbing, tumbling, leaping, grasping, swinging, running, throwing), fire starting/manipulation/shaping/growth. Skills: dancing, acting, climbing, running, acrobatics, forgery/appraisal, painting, reading/writing, fire manipulation. Other than magic, she will use a staff to defend herself. Fires started by herself are small at first and needs to dance for it to increase in size. Right now, she can only control fire while dancing. I was a member of a dance/performance troupe of the now-defunct Carnivale of Wondrous Wonders. There were 7 of us. We were all sisters. They called me Sister Radiant in the carnivale. But others... outside the carny; they called me slave. For I was tattooed. On my head. Aye, the tattoos gave me boosts of magicks to enhance me performances, but nay, I never fancied meself as a slave...? But now the jealous and the haters do their best to take me from glory. When the jealous found out who I really was, they laughed and called me Rodent. I'm not a Rodent! I am meant for better things! I am Radiant, I am!!! ~~~~~ Personality: Vivacious, dancing street rat growing up into hard times, and it's taking its toll, but really still just wants to be a good girl. Boisterous, energetic and fun-loving and very much daring and adrenaline driven yet still considerate, sharing is caring, enduring chick. But waning naivete and increasing dour view point of others affects her attitude and trust issues do not allow her to keep friends nowadays. She's not violent and doesn't like to fight or hurt things really; she will defend herself or flee. She can take a pounding for such a scrawny thing. Who can I turn to now? No one. Utterly and completely. People outside the carnivale... you cannot trust them. They tell you one thing, they promise to you, swear it, alack... oh but they are lying...!! They just want to use you. They make you do things for them... to them... because you believe them. They hurt you. But I am done hurting. I protect meself. I was Sister Radiant afterall. I do my work that needs doing. But I still wear rags. No one suspects me... perhaps this Rodent name serves the look? Hmmm... But still, I feed the dogs and the other poor, lost and destitute-- I'm not one of them, do know that! But see... That's where most my earnings go... to feed us streeties. And to keep the rodents away... Rodent. Anyways... well, that, and it is rather expensive to live on the streets here! Mother Bradford commands such a price for keeping me safe on these streets! Thank all goodness for her... who knows where I would have ended up should she not have found me! ~~~~~ History: A former 'circus slave' who wants to live up to her lost life of grandeur but cannot get over past and present shame. They say I ended up at the carnivale as a bundled love joy; a gift on their front step... if there was such a step. But oh! O' Brothers Adestav- Carnivale of Wondrous Wonders!!! Oooh... such stupendous spectacle! Such extravagant entertainment...! But bother... lost only in mem'ry nowadays... but still! Me earliest memory was holding the kind warm hand of Brother Piotri as he took me for a tour into the Wild and Dangerous Beasts from The Mythical Lands of Wilderness and Damnation!!! Oh, they were lovely... and such a pain to clean and clean up after... but they were lovely nontheless! And not just Mythical Beasts, but wonderous performances too! Like... oh, the Amazing Acrobatic High-Flying Death-Defying Angels. And the Extraordinary Sisters Elementalistas! Was one of them, was I... aye, I was. I was thirteen when I received me own spotter light solo dance. By then I had already mastered my arts. I could read and write with the best of them. Had a discriminating eye, I did, said Brother Mishkan. I had talent. At first I din't feel so good about copying things... but they said it was craft and my versions were better than theirs; it was art in me blood! I painted and wrote things just like original paintings and writings of others! I was very good, if not better than me sister Elementalistas, must say meself. Radiant was talented at her craft; her arts. And so I received more tattoos as reward! Me head was shorn and ink patterns laid there upon me scalp. Such loverly designs, aye... They were magical! They helped me master physical performing feats that no others could do! I was being groomed to be an Elementalista! The tattoos would aid me, but I couldn't grow out mine own hair. It would hurt when I did, I was told. I couldn't go farther than a stones throw from the carnivale or it would hurt when I did, I was told. Nights of bed with the brothers to ease and please would stop the incessant buzzing in me head due to the magicks. I din't mind those nights as much as the other girls, but I was one of the older girls afterall. But oh, thirteen! What a year! What a year!!! And oh, was I welcomed with such applause and admirations! I began to hone me skills of the poi, staff, fan and whips! They loved me, they did. And so to practice, the Brothers made me do 'excursions' exercises. This was where I went outside the carnivale and practiced my performance skills to earn money and... and... ...and the day came when Ovorion took over. The carnivale was decimated. Burned to the ground and I fled and hid in the streets. They laughed at me. Street people laughed at me. I said my name was Sister Radiant. They just laughed and called me Rodent. They told me that I should realize that the Brothers of Wonders were illusion-makers and kidnappers and child rapists. I was a victim. They used me and my sisters to create art fakes and replace real arts with my forgeries. They used me and me sister Elementalistas to write fake certificates and fake legal documents. But I swear I was not a slave!!! I chose... I chose to live like that but... ..but I escaped and I found my way to Mother Bradford and she took me in. She made me pay for safety because... because others did so on the streets and... so I danced and made forgeries for her too so to earn my keep... I... at least I'm not a slave! I can grow my hair if I want! I can, it does not hurt! I just... the tattoos, they make me look tough! But I couldn't live like that anymore! I couldn't be one of the poor and suffering! I was an Elementalista! An Extraordinary one, y'know! And... and... ...and then she saw me. She saw me dancing and she took me with her... to see the Queen. The Priestess swore to protect me. But she... she stole me from Mother Bradford and my new guardians... but... ummm... I'm okay with that, I am. I ne'er told em I actually wanted to go with the Priestess. For the enormous woman was crude and rough around the edges; a fish out of water too... and she was to meet the queen. The Queen! A seal proved it! So then I would guide her. I would show her this world and lead her to the meeting. I ne'er told them I would fight Orovian because of what he did to... my family. My people of the carnivale. O' Brothers Adestav. They loved me... I know this is true. They did not use me... they did not... they taught me skills... But anyways the last I told Mother Bradford was that I would pay for what I owed her, I would return and shower her with gifts and riches. For I am honourable and keep my word; I am and I do... ...unlike this Priestess. She hits me. She says I must earn what knowledge I learn. What does that mean?! She can barely speak our language! Ohhhh... and She says she will protect me... but everyone who says they want the best for me... they used me. They will all use me. But not the Queen... oh, but I remember performing for her, I swear we performed for her and her royalty! The Brothers said so! I was 13. I swear I saw her applaud and admire me. 13... what a year! What a year. She must have loved our performance...! For I'm Radiant, I am. Not a Rodent. I'm meant for something greater... whoosh... ~~~~~ Anything Extra: One day I'm going to be a queen too... and I will rule together with Queen Rhysln, aye... Side by side! We will love each other and rule our queendom together till we die. I love our Queen... she applauded me... admired me. A queen loved what I did... loved what I am... And so it must--nay, it will come to pass. Together. Forever.A radiant queen... and her queen Radiant.

The same person, but they have two identities: Public Identity: Name: Mikel Hunt Age: 36 Gender: Male Personality: Friendly and helpful, he wants people to like him, almost to a fault. He'll always willing to lend a helping hand, and will go out of his way to do what's best for others. Role/Title: Hunter, a peasant that was conscripted by Ovorion's military shortly after he took the throne. Skills include basic herbal poisons and medicines, as well as throwing knives, and expert level archery. History: He was a hunter, working in a village to the north of the capital. One day the military came into town and rounded up every man in town between 16 and 40, forcing those that were able-bodied to join the army. After receiving training, he was sent to the Capital to work as a city guard. While there, he fell in love with one of the palace maids. When she refused the advances of one of Ovorion's personal guards, though, he killed her. Ovorion refused to punish the man for the murder, as he was one of the best guards, Mikel left the city through a secret passage so that they wouldn't be able to stop him. He went to search for the Queen after that, knowing that she was the only one that could bring Ovorion and the guard to justice. Anything extra: --- Secret Identity Name: Avarice Age: 36 Gender: Male Personality: Devious and sneaky. Once he sets his mind on a goal he will pursue it with a single minded purpose, regardless of what it costs or how long it takes. Role/Title: Assasin. Skills include master archery, knowledge of toxins, antidotes, and simple medicines. He is also adapt at shadow magic and the "memory smudge" technique. Shadow magic allows him to intensify shadows around himself to hide, blind his opponents, and use shadows as portals to travel 30-40 ft. If he uses a shadow, however, he must wait several minutes before using the same shadow again. Memory smudge allows him to make memories less clear. He doesn't need to touch you if the memory is being formed, but if he's altering a past memory he does need to touch you. With enough use, the memory smudge technique can give memories a dreamlike quality, where the victim doesn't know if they are real, a dream, or a story they once heard. History: Growing up in the northern half of the kingdom, he was taken at a young age by a group of assassins. They raised him, training him in their ways. When he was found to have a gift with magic, he became the apprentice of one of their master Assassins, learning the Memory smudge and shadow magic techniques. They taught him to hate royalty and nobles, as they were simply people who used their power to take from and harm those beneath them. When he learned of the power struggle for the throne, he asked his master for permission to try and assassinate Ovorion and the Queen. His master allowed this. He then traveled to Ovorion, presenting himself as an assassin for hire, and was hired to eliminate the Queen. Anything extra: He secretly hopes to eliminate both of them, and instead install a puppet aristocrat that can be convinced to dissolve the power of the throne.

Name: Alniyat Age: 17 Height: 5'10 and 175lbs Her sword is roughly 6 foot and about 80lbs Gender: Female Personality: A proud strong young naive girl. She is driven to gain strength simply for the sake of being strong. Rank and status do not apply in her mind, meaning she will tell anyone her thoughts and lacks the tact to even put a filter on it. Her ignorance for social situations is made up from in her well read back ground, making many question just how "naive" she really is. Role/Title: "Annoying thorn" History: She lived on a border village well outside the real reach of the empires influence, the most she had heard had been stories of its beauty. Her village had proven itself strong enough to hold its own for many generations it was really just bad luck that her generation was the time it would fall. A ball clanged desperately in the late hours of the night, waking her from her sleep. Her mother ran to her side and her father grabbed his blade and ran out the door. Her mother comforted her telling her it was probably nothing more than wolves again....If only. What felt like an eternity of waiting was brought to an end by the shriek of one of her fellow villagers and then a roar of something far scarier than any wolf rang out. A large group of bandits had laid siege to the small village. An orange glow began to add a more horrible back drop to befit the symphony of screams. Her mother scooped her up and attempted to run out the back of their small cottage. The sound of something whistling in the air proceeded her mothers sudden stop. But she did not fall, she looked down at her daughters terrified face and began to force herself to limp onwards. Once more something whistled in the air but this time the noise seemed to slam into her mother, but she still did not stop. She made it a few more feet before blood began to drip from her lips onto her daughters tear soaked face. "M-mama?" Her mother placed the girls feet on the ground, allowing her to stand. The woman smiled while blood ran down from her mouth and nose, trying desperately to look strong. "Run." Alnyiat even at such a young age was strong, she forced a wavering smile and ran, and ran, and ran. She ran till her feet bled, and she continued on. For almost a straight day she ran. She collapsed at a spring almost another mountain away, it was here the Gods saw fit to reward her strength. The next time she would open her eyes, it was in the "cave" of Olluron. Of course, the first thing she would do when she woke was try and run, but at entrance Olluron had been waiting, or more likely had been watching the sunrise... Alniyat once more reacted the only way that seemed logical she grabbed a stone and smashed the man in the back of his head. Olluron turned his head to look at her, tears already forming in her eyes but the stone still raised to hit him once more. "Good morning." She shrunk back as the massive man turned and reached out for her. His hand's shadow encompassed her head, she remembered the stories of how gaints grind your bones for bread, she couldnt believe her luck.Nor could she when the massive hand simply stroked her head. "How 'bout we grab some fish" she stared at him confounded when he picked her up and sat her on his shoulder. When he got them back to the spring of the day prior he sat her down at the waters edge after setting up a strange looking conrtaption in the water (Later she learns its a trap for shellfish) he returned and began to wash her wounded feet. She cringed and balled her hands into fist but she knew it had to be done. "Small one, You are quite strong. Where have you come from?" She could not fight the tears that fell from her eyes but still she kept a strong face. After he properly dried her wounded feet he sat beside her, more than eclipsing the young girl in his shadow. She looked at him slightly confused while the man stared at the water, she was startled when he began to speak again. "I am sorry you have lost so much when you are so small. I lost much but I was big, Not as big as now but was still much larger than you small one. Hahaha! But you are much stronger than when I was a small one!" He pats her head again, this strange and awkward gesture is oddly comforting but she couldn't help but question if the man thought she was a dog. "I will teach you to be stronger okay! That way you are able to make bad not happen!" She smiled and laughed, cried and growled but she refused to speak. Olluron however never expected to her, he understood well enough, though it was on more than one occasion he came to the idea she couldn't. It was in one of the rare town visits that Olluron was trading furs for books that Alniyat finally spoke. "Thank you." The man was startled for the first time she had seen since she met him. He turned to look at her with the dumbest grin, "Small one!" Overjoyed Olluron threw all the furs he had to trade and took as many books as he could carry...Hardly an equal trade and thus Alniyat said spoke to the merchant as she was carried off with the books. "Sorry!" While she read and learned, she began to find herself with a desire to bring about justice and serve the land like the knights in the tales. This had some side effects that Olluron was forced to deal with These include and are not limited to: sneaking off to try and defeat some highway men, her being hurt trying to lift his axe, getting in fights with boys in the village so she could prove herself stronger, him caught in constant bouts with local fighters because she says that hes so much stronger... When she was thirteen they had become a rather common sight at the villages near the foot of the mountains, and Olluron had become something of a local hero. Alniyat had also become a prize to be had by many of the local boys, much to her secret glee. However a traveling aristocrat had taken fancy to her, and decided she would be his. After several turned down advances he arranged a trap, one that had Olluron convinced that she had been taken by the commander at the local empire outpost. While the fiend had her to himself he had thought she would melt in fear without her giant, but it was quite the contrary between her sweet lips spilled pure venom. She cursed him informed him of how low he was and how pathetic this was, this of course led to him having her bound and gagged...and beaten. Later that night she was brought to his chambers still shackled. He asked her if she was ready for what comes next as he removed her gag. "I am strong."At first he thought this was her compliance, But the girl kicked his groin with enough force to force him to his knees. Before he had time to collect his first thought she drove her head into his brow, knocking the man to the floor. "I am strong." As the man heard the words and the spots began to clear from his eyes he saw her foot coming down on his throat, with a raunchy crunch. As he gurgled and tried to stand she watched her eyes beginning to water....It was some time before a servant came to wake the lord only to find him dead in the floor and Alniyat sitting in a chair as if waiting. Olluron had Commander arrived seeking to correct this strange mess. But rather it appears the son would demand justice for his fathers demise, and it was apparently cold murder. Alniyat had been re-gagged and beaten again and tossed in a cage before the commander could even look over the situation. When Olluron finally saw Alniyat, and the state she was in, it was a as if they had stolen a bears cub. The man cared not for explanation he forced the dungeon door open much to the shock of all but the commander. "What happened little thorn!" He didn't even wait for an answer before he turned his eyes on the young son. The commander adeptly stepped between them and lifted a hand to gesture them to wait. The young son commanded the knight"Excute them both, they are murderous savages! They don-"The Commander floored the boy, "I am in service of the queen not your petty house." The commander knew enough to not only prevent repercussions for Alniyat and Olluron but he took it a step further and had the house shamed. It was this example of justice that led Alniyat to dream of being a Knight. And it was enough to convince Olluron that perhaps these people from the capital are not all as evil as what he had gathered from previous encounters. Some more stuff happens blahblahblah---present The pair is now known as the White Rose, known as bounty hunters, sell swords, but the are more or less body guards for only those loyal to the purity of the crown. Name: Olluron More to come but seriously writing a book in back story is probably not my best plan. Name: Glenndaugion Mithrandir Age: 318 and a few moons. Gender: Male Personality: Paragon. Glenn unlike most of his kind tends to think highly of his short lived friends. He tries to advise the royal family in ways that are both peaceful and productive. While normally a pacifist he does rile when one threatens the royal family or (maybe even more so) Children. Two paragraphs. Glenndaugion Mithrandir is of a rather unique and influential clan of elves in the northern mountains. The Mithrandir predate the empires and according to folk lore the humans themselves but the clan has made no such claim. Glenndaugion was for all purposes incredibly young when he left his people, but in the thirty years he spent with them he had learned more than many humans could hope to gather in their life time. *Some amazing exposition here about how he got to be a royal advisor....But you know spoiler.* After the first two generations Glenn began to act as both tutor and guard to the children of the royal family primarily because children tend to be a tad bit more likely to grasp concepts such as listening. Glenn worked to train kings and queens in everything from etiquette to sword play, though he does have a habit of sexism as he finds the boys should use broad swords and girls the rapier. After the first century passed Glenn began to attract animosity of the lords and the like, many began to suspect him of being something of a puppet master. Manipulating the children or worse using elven magic to control the king and queen directly! Any who knew him never gave these accusations a second thought, the only magic he had ever shown the capacity of using was the illusions he used to entertain the children. Glenn attempted to distance himself from any who where not of the royal family simply to give the appearance of being disinterested in the politics of the empire. Unfortunately this worked too well, as soon he did loose the influence at council meetings but if he was honest with himself he was happy about it, as it freed him from the mess that was internal relations. Fast forward to the present situation and Glenn's effectiveness has been rather shocking. He was separated from the queen due to the planning of the tyrant. He had been sent to act as a mediator with a clan from the deep woods but alas the only thing waiting for him out there was bandits. A few dozen corpses later a very agitated Glenn now searches for the Daughters of the empire....Hopefully their Knights reacted quick enough. Anything extra: A theme that sums up the story you probably skipped XD https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ski6AYbfU-A

Name: Knight Commander Bayweil Mawblack Age: 47 Gender: Male Personality: Mawblack is dutiful through and through. The lord of the land's word is law. Anyone who questions that should be put in their place. The Queen and her sister are the most important people in the country and he will die protecting them to mend the mistake of not being able to protect them from the enemy. He would love to be the one to gut Ovorion like the pig he is, but he would provide the Queen with the ability to do so, so that she might keep the honor. Anyone who threatens her deserves to be punished and he will hurt anyone who so much as touches them in a way that is meant to be harmful. Role/Title: Knight Commander History: Mawblack was born and raised by the sword. His grandfather joined the army during the first of the Silverspring line, and his father continued to serve after that, so it was only fit that he would serve as well. Before he got anywhere near commander, he was a foot soldier, put on the field to fight. There was more than enough skirmishes on the far end towns, the ones near the mountains and the crags, ones that needed to be reminded that they were not the ones that got to make the big decisions. His military career began with King Silverspring. The princesses had not even been born yet, the marriage had been barely consummated. He fought hard, followed orders like it was the very essence of his being. His king was one that actually would go onto the battle field and fight with his troops, and the queen would easily maintain the castle in his absence, having been raised in the politics. They worked like they were just always meant to rule as a single body. Rhysln began learning the politics a few years before her parents died. She was going to be just like her mother, that's what she wanted. And Mawblack watched her grow, got to know the young princess, being told he'd most likely be her guardian because of how much her parents trusted him. He did what he could to keep that trust, to prove he was worth the honor they were giving him. Then his beloved leaders died. And his charge was thrust in to a world she had only just gained the bearings on what the world expected from her. He swore to her that he would keep her safe, so her only worry needed to be getting a grip on the politics. She was flourishing, gaining the trust, trying to fix things not even her parents hadn't gotten the chance to start on yet. She worked as hard as she could, almost to tears when the implications that she couldn't fix everything.... that she wouldn't be as good as her mother set in. But there was nothing he could do to protect her from that. He tried to teach her strategies, tell her ways that she could approach things better, but her own sense of worth couldn't be mended by that kind of thing. Then Ovorion came in. He crushed her dreams, her work. And Mawblack failed her. He, Blayze, and Rand failed their leaders. And he would live with that shame even after they restored her to her throne. When they got to the village at first, he gave Rhysln her basic trainings. They were going in turns to search for recruits, for help. Each time, his princesses seemed to be stronger and more resolved. Rhysln was becoming, in his opinion, more like a combination of her parents, and he hoped that her resolve to gain her country back would give her the courage she once seemed to lack. Anything extra: He isn't going to be pleased when he realizes neither of his subordinates bothered to think that one of them should have stayed in Farthing with the queen and princess. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kYVHxM-IXEE
