We've done it before to our selves, it's a massive undertaking yes but to live in a friendly future you must make it. Plus- after we've been locked away for a long time, we accumulated a lot of wealth. Just don't expect anymore spending of that size for a while.

Crunched the numbers, it would cost me USD 338,000,000,000. However if I put my country as somewhere between Brazil and France (nominal GDP), I earn USD 2,525,143,000,000. So yes it will be sizable spending and it will Hirt but it won't destroy us.

That doesn't sound like economic numbers from WWII equivalent time periods.

Malassakian GDP is 680 billion (1990 dollars). Split 75%-25% home islands colonies. The abundant 150+ million powers, assuming everyone should have similar GDPs to prevent unipolarity, should either accept lower standards of living or reduce their populations.

Russia and the US both funded similar reconstruction projects after WWII. I am more worried about the fact that, while such huge funds might be within Ventium's limits, they're far beyond mine. I may be a major rice and tea exporter, but foodstuffs have unfortunately low margins, and Xulao has been wracked by too much warfare to be prosperous just yet.

I get the vague sense that there may be war on the horizon..... a vague sense.... a calm before the storm.
