Lord Captain Damon Farrow
Damon heard her telling them that she was planning on acting against Donat and picked up his pace. While Damon was no friend of Donat he was also no friend people telling the world they planned to betray him, since he knew any real threat to Donat would force his hand and his men would be fighting most the Kingdoms armies alone. He began to ease his pace as he reached the group, jogging past the people on the outside and walking to Hazael herself. "Are you MAD!" he said when he arrived, breathing deeply from the frantic sprint down once he heard what she was saying. "Do you want.." he stopped, taking a deep breath "Knight Lieutenant Commander, if anyone breaths a word of this in the palace then the king wont last two minutes!" he took another breath, an uncertain look in his eyes "I should lock you up right now, to stop this getting out of hand..." then he shook his head, the hand clutching his sword hilt dropped, then rose to meet Damon's forehead "But.. I wont. If what you say is true I guess I can.. double the guard and.. and then what?!" His hand dropped down again and he vaguely saluted, he may not follow the normal military ranks but he WAS a soldier, even if she would be more likely to salute him then the other way around. "I suppose I am yours to command, if what you say is true and this is going to happen then what's the kings guard going to do against Donat and his pawns?"

Cassie grinned at Astarte's back. Guess she touched a nerve. As the siblings began to act all sibling-like with each other, a shapeshifting mage became extremely excited over her cannon. While the constant shifting would probably be slightly jarring, Cassie grew up in the land of the mages. This sort of stuff was too common to really bat an eye at, even if the mages seemed to think everything they did was some grand display of amazing power. She grinned, putting one gloved hand on the boy's...girl's...thing's head with a ruffle. "It is a cannon, it's the Howler in fact. You can touch it, but as for getting one, you'll need to spend a small fortune. I don't know many gunsmiths who still make them that don't belong to the military." She gave a wink with another hyena grin. "I've modified it to Hell and back. Military grade is fine for small jobs but if you want something done right, gotta customize. Won't find another like it. But it should make that spider explode like a big slime-filled bubble. Boom!" She gave a short bow of sorts, adjusting her monocle as the mage said it's name. "Wonderful to meet you Nex, I'm Cassie. And if you like explosions as much as I do, we'll get along famously." Then she heard Hazael openly announce her plans. And the resulting reactions. She tapped her chin for a moment. Cassie wasn't the sharpest sword in the armory, but even she could see the flaw of just about every plan that was just announced. Years of working on bringing large scale problems down had taught her to look for smaller details that most would miss. She looked around, relieved to see that the gate was MOSTLY deserted except by some civilians who weren't particularly interested in a large group of military people. "Okay, step by step I'm seeing some flaws here. First off, Knight Lieutenant, though honestly openly admitting to rebellion sort of removes your rank, as our happy Lord Captain here has stated, you may have already gotten the royal family killed by announcing your intention. If the Minister, and I'm only saying this as a for instance, heard of your intents and was indeed guilty, then there's no reason to hold off on his plan until the Arachnoblast arrives, but rather speed it up to prevent our intervention." She made a slight bob over to Bristlebane with a grin. "Which relies on us killing the monster to avoid it being used as a living siege weapon, oh I like that, can I be referred to like that? But yes, I do believe we are going to go kill a giant spider." She then focused on the assassin with an ego. "And let's, again just for fun, pretend you DID manage to bring down the target, as every member of your occupation claims they're the best and I'm sure you're no exception, so an entire castle of guards, mages, and people trained from youth to stop your kind clearly makes nooooo difference. Then what? There's now an entire nation with no leader, fired up over expansionist ideals, and someone with less subtlety than the Minister takes control and makes the situation worse. Or someone who supports the current way of doing things takes over and does an inquisition to find MORE traitors. Or you fail, you're head is piked, and he once again speeds up his plan since he knows he's been outed. You're asking for a lot of money for a bad outcome either way." She slid the cannon off her shoulders, letting it thud into the ground as she leaned on it, eyeing everyone from behind her monocle. "Now, doubling the guard doesn't make sense either. Doing so would make the Minister suspicious of why you're doing it. How many of your guard support Donat and how many oppose him? You could just make things worse. You're all shooting at the wall, hoping to break it down, when you need to hit all the foundations at once. If you're goal is to stop a coup, you need to make them unable to move forward but unable to pull back. Or at the very least, force them to start from a weakened position." She pointed at the assassin. "A fake attempt on Donat's life, not to kill him, but to let him think something unrelated to his plan was at play. You could stage a fight with the Lord Captain here pretty easily, which leads to..." Her finger draped over to the Lord Captain. "Doubling the guard due to this assassin's attempt on his life. Hand choose a select few for duty around the royal family, only ones you KNOW don't support the minister's current plan. No one will question why they have extra protection, and will assume you just picked your elites to do so." Her finger rested at Hazael's direction. "Kill the Arachnoblast, as he can't announce that the beast is supposed to arrive alive. He needs it as a surprise. An open conflict with just his supporters could probably go either way, that thing is his trump card. You have orders to kill it. It wouldn't be hard to say the battle became too heated and the body was destroyed in the process. Along with the mage controlling it, who remarkably, had a contract on his body for the assassination of the Minister." The folded her hands under her chin, tipping the cannon slightly as she grinned. "Stop the beast. Double the guard. Avoid a power vacuum. In theory, this would hold Donat in place until he finds a new card to play for an advantage. Or, if he makes a move with limited support, the royal family is surrounded by loyalists who get them out of the city, and your coup begins anyway. His power struggle begins with less resources and ahead of his schedule, putting him in a weaker position. No matter what you do, people are going to get hurt and people are going to die. Mostly the innocents. But as I said, this is all just a for instance."

No, really, look at my face." Tsubasa glared at the woman, a snarl on his lips and malice in his eyes. "She wants somebody dead. I want money. I kill the guy, I get the money, win-win. Obstacles? Don't care. Power vacuum? Don't care. Whether you, the rest of these people, the poor, the rich, the good, the evil, the starving babies, toothless grandmas, anyone at all lives or dies? Do. Not. Care." He turned back to Hazael. "You're the only one with something to say I DO care about, namely being, are you willing to pay or not? If not, I'll just leave town and find somewhere my services would be more acceptable. Or maybe, when your little coup d'etat goes horribly awry due to the collective incompetence of this bunch of know-nothings, Donat will put some bounties out, and I'll get my money THAT way."

Lord Commander Damon Farrow
Damon was getting pretty annoyed at this point. "Suddenly this army grunt is a master strategist?" he said over his shoulder with a hint of spite in his voice. "I could probably double the guards without any notice as it stands. Its not like they in the council consider me at all, other then as a nuisance..." he muttered the last part "My point, little miss gun!, is that I don't have enough guards to fight off the kingdom, I doubt my men could take on even the city guard, despite their skill, the numbers are simply not in my favor." With this he spat at his feet, in her direction, muttering "I will not have a commoner with no rank order me about!" before saying, in a more audible voice, "Why don't we listen to the Knight Lieutenant, who has earned her high rank, sometimes there is not time for such subtleties. I'm sure she have thought deeply about this." At this point he finally turned the face the insolent soldier and looked her square in the eyes, his body tensing. "I just want you to know, if you plan on undermining authority then we will achieve nothing. As a soldier you should surely know the importance of order, discipline and rank, even if you, madam, appear to have none of those a fore mentioned mentioned skill sets." Damon was painfully aware that his aggression and displeasure was clearly visible but he was also aware, more so, that what was at stake was the lives of all those before him, the leader he respects so thoroughly and the future of the entire kingdom. No rebellious child would put them at jeopardy, he may not be able to command the city guard but, for now at least, he still had authority among them and would not hesitate to arrest the girl, anyone, even the Lieutenant if he thought it would protect his trusted friend and the kingdom he served.

Chloe twirled one of the steel rods in her hand, its weight and balance where good, not perfect, but pretty close. Dante the blacksmith did good work. She placed the rod back with its fellows and wrapped them loosely within a cloth cover. Her 'art' was performed through the medium of paper, that was the nature of her magic and only paper was susceptible to her will. Though that might sound limiting and perhaps to some extent was from a non magi point of view it had its benefits as well. Focus being one of them. The steel rods had no impact on her magic directly but would serve their purpose in the right situation. She took the bag from her back and carefully placed the rods in amongst the stacks of paper. It was starting to get heavy. Chloe turned and took one last look at the workshop, taking a moment to contemplate the impetuousness of its owner. There was chance he would never see this place again. She smiled softly to herself. She had promised him twice the usual rate of coin for the work and in a sudden fit of enthusiasm he had neglected any payment save for the reading of a letter and a conversation. It could be that that was all he was looking for. The determined look on his face suggested as much. It had been a good expression. Chloe stifled a hearty laugh and made in the same direction but with much less haste then the blacksmith turned adventurer. After following Dante for only a short distance she turned into a side alley, cautiously checking the opening behind her for sign of pursuit. Finding none she looked up the edge of the rooftops above. Far too high to jump and climbing was not her forte. Both facts were irrelevant of course. She grinned to herself as a storm of paper erupted from her backpack and swirled and twisted around her, writhing like a tornado. In a coordinated flurry of motion a portion of its mass fell upon her. Within moments she was covered from head to foot in long hooded coat of white, made from individual sheets of paper. The flexibility of the paper bent to her will, so it was an easy enough trick. She reached into her backpack, which somehow remained above her new coat and pulled a stick of bread free, taking a large, satisfying bite. Magic was energy. In her case energy she generated much of it within herself, so there was a cost to be paid for its use. Magic was about balance after all. The still swirling mass of paper coalesced into a mass beneath her feet that exploded upward, propelling her onto the rooftops. Chloe made her way to the meeting point more of less in a straight line, her paper rushing ahead to form bridges between the rooftops before returning to trail along with her. Sure it drew plenty of attention, but it would have required a very specific skill set to have followed her. When she arrived at the meeting place she could hear voices, though she could see no one as she was still on the rooftop. She was not a stealthy mover so it all likelihood her presence was already known. Despite the breeze her coat remained perfectly still as she listened in. Rebellion was in the air.

He blinked once, then twice and for a good measure a third time before he looked around. His head was pounding as yesterday had mysterious disappeared and slipped trough his hand like grains of sand. He remembered bits and pieces of what happened yesterday, however after reaching his room yesterday and right now, he didn't remember much. His eyes wondered around to where he was and recognized some faces... yes he remembered now where he was. The red flyer that he had read yesterday had lead him to this group meeting today to kill a Arachnoblast.. well until that Hazael girl said to capture it alive? It was a silly idea but he went along with the majority of it until the Donat part. And then there was light- not, as the one of the other readers of the flyer left about some sort of assassination attempted in short. He wasn't understanding anything at the moment, it seemed like this meeting was to discuss both about something a civil war now. In all honest it wasn't interesting for what Yunan had in mind... And then there was another person talking about a plan to delay this civil war and trying to stall Donat... It was all too confusing for what Yunan had in his mind, that he was trying to remember. Guessing that he meeting was over, he decided to leave again and find a nice cool and relaxing place for him to remember. So before he left he asked a simple question: "Are we going to meet again, or we are gonna start the trip here? If we're meeting again, where are we meeting?" He asked while leaning on the wall, feeling sick to his stomach now. It must of been the heat or something as, he began sweating a bit and it was definitely not a good thing. Any further time spent here than necessary will be wasted and his secret might be revealed...

Dante Dante soon reached the meeting place, seeing it was full of people. "Whoa..." he murmured, stepping around. "Oh, is that Hazeal?" he pondered aloud. There seemed to be people arguing over many things of politics and murder and battle. He saw a lady with a HUGE gun and stared for a moment, admiring the fine craftsmanship, and surveying other people. "Geez, there's a lot of weird things going on..." he muttered, jogging over to Hazeal and giving a quick bow. "Ah, nice to get here and meet you. I would like to help with the mission... Both of them. I mean like, the hidden one. You know what I mean, right?" he asked, nervous already from talking to a high ranking officer. He was nervous enough, talking to knights.

"Grunt? Heehee!" Cassie grinned at both men. Adorable. She figured her plan would be met with this reaction. Greed and pride were just a few traits men who think they have power were prone to. She remained grinning, eyes flitting to Hazael. The assassin was just that, an assassin. Trying to show how little he cared, for coin. Too easy to manipulate, too easy to remove from the picture, since anyone with nothing to prove would have just stayed quiet. The Captain...well, depending on how things went, he wouldn't have any authority or power over her soon enough. Still, his pride was showing. A lot. She understood his position though. But now that she'd seen his reaction, she knew how to better handle him. She watched the Knight Lieutenant instead, jackal grin wide. Her intent was what would matter. Despite all this, Cassie hadn't made up her mind on whether or not she would remain with the military or join this coup. Judging by the gathering...it'd be way easier to just side with the Minister, report them all, and watch them burn. But it wouldn't necessarily be right...she hated having problems she couldn't just shoot aside.

Avon Ruhame
Everyone was starting to talk strategy and Avon could barely follow along. Also, tons of these guys had military background? And what was this about being subtle about stuff? Avon was never able to decode the 'secret message' in the poster due to his rusty reading skills, so some of this 'subtle' stuff was flying over his head. He was rather slow, plus the fact he wasn't expecting this talk was throwing him way off as well. But whatever, he was ok with this. As they continued to dabble in their militaristic talks, he did his best to follow along. However it looked like some Pirate-looking chick was going to do the summarizing for him, while also trying to talk to everyone at once? Whatever, he listened to the best of his abilities and tried to play catch-up. Well first of all, she was openly talking about rebellion? Avon was quickly getting more and more confused, as far as he knew this was supposed to be some spider-hunt. She went on about how the royal family might as well already be dead, and that if the minister heard about this they should have to hurry up. Now that Avon agreed with, from what he had heard about from his father the minister sounded pretty prone to solving uprisings with quick and violent strikes. Avon moved in closer to the girl to make listening a little easier, she then went on to talk to someone who Avon had never seen. This was something he had a lot more trouble following, mostly because he had no idea who the person was. Occupation? What the fuck does he even do? Target? Was this some sort of assassin? Who was she referring too? However, after she talked about the results Avon started to understand a bit more. So she was talking about killing the minister. Some of the after-effects sounded somewhat extreme, but then again, Avon didn't know much about leadership or history, so maybe she was right? However he doubted someone who might do such things was that closer to leadership. But his knowledge of the power structure was also only as great as his knowledge of being a leader, which again, was close to none. And the lady kept going...and going...and going. He had trouble following along and started to drift off a little bit, not to sleep, but into other's conversations.

Nex had been waiting patiently and politely for Cassie to finish so he could inspect the Cannon, but he frowned as she kept going. "I have no idea what anything you just said means, but I think that Red Head and the Grumy guy are just jealous cause their ideas suck." Nex said, cause in his mind, the longer it took to explain something, the better the plan. Cassie's explanation had been really long, so she must have thought it out a lot better than the other two have, right? "Also, if you need something killed, than Nex can do it, as Nex said, he's good at hunting monsters. People, like these bandits Nex met one time, are really easy, and so fragile too. Just a little bit of pressure in the right place and they pop like balloons." Nex giggled at the thought, remembering one time where he had done just that. It had been really funny. "Oh, but don't worry, your all my friends and I'd never kill my friends, not ever, never. I swear." Nex made a salute, before falling over giggling again, unable to get the imagine of that man popping out of his head, it had just been to funny. Nex wondered if he should show somebody, deciding that if any asked, he would, then they could all laugh about it later. Nex stopped giggling as he looked up, hearing the sounds of ruffling paper, and a lot of it. He quickly got up and scaled a near by building, using his tendrils to help him up. Once he got to the roof, he saw a red haired woman their, and she was making paper fly around. Nex's eyes were as big as saucers, and he immediately zipped over to her, unable to take his eyes off the papers. "Wow, this is awesome, like really awesome, is this a type of magic, where did you learn it, can you teach me, please, please, please?!?!?!" Nex was on his knees, looking up at the lady with a puppt dog expression. This magic looked so cool, he wanted to learn, now, now, now, now!!!! @Constantine @Deth_Glitch @Zeroth @Spawnling

Bristlebane's magic senses tingled again as a lot of it was used and it was emitting from... up on the roof. "Yeah blowing stuff up, tell me when we do something fun." he said to the cool living siege weapon, Then he quickly followed the creepy cool shadow it guy/girl up swinging the building using the sign and landing on the top almost the same time Nex did. "Hey you can't team him how to and not me, teach me tooooooo!" he said eagerly. Think of what he could do what paper magic. His paper airplanes would be class S, no one would be able to top them.

Ralena watched as many more people arrived and soon the details of this mission were soon made clear. Well then. Seems like I was right to come here afterall. She listened to everyone around, slowly learning more about each person nearby as they spoke. With a grin, she continued to listen to the ongoing conversation.

Chloe cocked her head on its side, her eyes wide and clearly a little confused by the sudden turn of events. Within the space of a few heartbeats another magi had scaled the wall using some dark energy. At roughly the same moment another person had scaled the wall with the ease of a monkey and now stood off to her other side. As attacks came it was most...unsettling. The magi had almost immediately prostrated himself before her. Which is not usually how this kind of thing went. The monkey joined in almost at once, as if in competition. “E-excuse me?” she managed, her brow twitching as she struggled to comprehend the situation. She looked down below and saw a reassuringly familiar face and reacted by using another exploding column of paper to propel herself into the air and away from her two newest...admirers? Her coat dissolved and rushed ahead of her, creating a cushion that softened her fall by catching her before reforming into her white paper coat. Chloe slipped behind Dante. “Remember when I asked if you could use what you make?” she half whispered to him meaningfully as she stared up thoughtfully at the dark magic user for just a moment. She turned her gaze and looked at the ensemble that had assembled. Knights, soldiers, mercenaries? A dark mage. A monkey in human form. “Admirers aside,” she said as she drew her attention toward the one she assumed to be Hazael. She looked meaningfully at the woman and made a show of curtseying to the knight. “Chloe Magnolia Chevalier, here to join your little....rebellion?” she said as she looked at the multitude of faces. It was obvious that not everyone here was in agreement. That could prove...useful. “It is a nice day for it, after all.”

Dante Dante pivoted around on one foot when he heard a rustling sound, and was greeted by Chloe... falling from the sky? Suddenly, before she hit the ground, her cloak turned into paper? And it softened her landing, allowing her to make a graceful decent into the ranks, before she got to him. "Whoa! What's up with that!?" he asked, amazed and curious about her magic, or skill. "What type of magic is that? I've never heard about it." Dante asked, quite curious about it. "Remember when I asked if you could use what you make?" Chloe asked, in a whisper and seemingly worried about something. "Yea, I can use swords, even pistols, if I get my hands on them." he whispered back, putting a hand on the almost invisible sword hilt in his cloak, the blade hidden behind his cloak as well. "It's the special blade I made for myself." he told her, grinning.

Nex frowned as the lady ran away, he had wanted to learn the magic, why didn't she want to teach him. 'Maybe it was because she didn't want something for nothing, maybe I should trade, let her touch the book and learn my magic, then she can teach me hers. That'd be fun.' With a smile on his face, he gave a wave to the other guy who had asked for learning before jumping down from the top of the building, tendrils catching him and slowing his descent by forming a slide, which deposited him right next to the red headed lady and sme other guy. They seemed to be whispering something o each other, but Nex didn't care, he wanted to learn that magic know! "Hey lady, do you want to trade magic? Is that why you won't teach me? If so I can teach you mine, it's easy to learn," He reached into his cloak before pulling out a thick tome, the cover covered in thick black scales that seemed to pulsate at every second, the pages seemed ragged and were yellowed with age. Upon contact with the light of day, the scales of the book shiver and started to move ever slightly, a pulse of sickening magical energy filling the area, unnoticeable to all but magic users them selves, or those with an apt sense for such things. It would trickle down their spines, filling them with a feeling of unease and possibly disgust. "All you have to do is open the book and boom, you got it. Well, there is some stuff in between, but Nex can't remember what it is." Nex's eye became uncharacteristically distant and dull as he tried to recall those memories, but they were hazy and indistinct, understanding seeming to float just out of reach. Nex quickly snapped out of his stupor, however, and was back to his chipper self again. He was abut to say something else, when his body suddenly snapped straight, his eyes rolling up into the back of his head and his mouth open in a silent scream. He stayed like that for a moment, before his body relaxed and his eye came back down, though his entire demeanor seemed to have changed. Gone was the childish and friendly aura that had surrounded him, now replaced by one of calm speculation, vast intellect, and a look in his eye that could make even the most bold of men cower when forced to behold it. "Excuse me for the interruption, but I had to stop my apprentice from doing something stupid and potentially dangerous. My name. . . is not important right now, all you need to know is that I am this boy''s master and that he does not have the authority to teach you anything about our magic, and he very nearly got you killed. This grimoire belongs to me, and can only be safely wielded by me and those I deem worthy, if somebody un approved were to touch it, they would be struck by a very fatal disease, dying a slow painful death. . . if hey are lucky. As for the unlucky ones, well, they have their uses. So, if you don't wish to be a new experiment for my studies or die, I would heartily recommend not touching the book."

Astarte & Hazael
Hazael sighed. She just knew that people would mostly be like this. Incredulous at best, aggressive at worst. It wasn't like this movement had no head and feet. Hazael had obviously thought thoroughly about it. She had already issued orders and many other things. Her soldiers and those loyal to the king were on standby, ready to counter the coup d'etat whenever it might arise. It wasn't an insurrection what she was doing. It was the resistance against said insurrection. Astarte heard everything, and knew that more than one of the guys there were right about one thing. Hazael sounded like crazy. "They are right, sis, completely so! How do you think announcing this in broad daylight will work in your favor!? Are you an idiot, sis?!" Astarte snapped and started shouting at his sister, before a slap, fast as lightning, went across his cheek. Astarte was surprised, to say the least. "I see your point, everyone. Indeed, announcing this in broad daylight is crazy. However, don't you think I already have something planned for being as bold as to put up those fliers? My steel has already verified who is guilty and who is innocent. The Dragon Knight is the only one still uncertain, I can only hope he is loyal to his king, at the very least." She quickly turned to Damon. "Double the guard, of course, would be the most logic course of action, but as said by our friend Cassie here, doing so without a reason. You, the assassin. I'll give you double, no, triple your normal fees. I get what Cassie is saying, but make it a fake attempt on his majesty's life. One that will end in a failure. Get arrested, be thrown into the dungeons and then escape. My agents will provide your weapons and armor that will be stripped from you after the arrest. Damon will have an excuse to increase the guard, and we will have the perfect alibi. An army has already been rallied, by me. We will defeat the Arachnoblaster tomorrow, make sure he loses his trump card, and then return to the kingdom. I fear that by the time we do, though, the rebellion might have already started." After that long explanation, she took a deep breath. Astarte merely listened to what his sister had to say. "We aren't rebelling, we are actually the last line of defense against the coup d'etat staged by the prime minister. We'll meet here tomorrow at afternoon. If any of you feel like going to the prime minister or trying to arrest me, you'll receive an arrow to the knee, err, I mean, to the head. This is no joke. The king's life is in danger, princess Strea must also be protected at all costs." She thought she had answered all the questions everyone directed at her. "Anymore questions? If not, feel free to go back to your houses, and we will meet again tomorrow. I pray that all of us are safe through the night. My knights will be watching over you."

Bristlebane was somewhat skeptical of the ability of the army lady's archers to be EVERYWHERE, and was pretty sure that he could make it to the prime minister if he felt like. In fact he was almost tempted to simply because of the challenge of it, but more importantly, he needed to know how to use paper magic. He now realized that his thoughts before were to small, why stop at paper airplanes. Why not create.... PAPER ROCKETS THAT COULD FLY TO OUTER SPACE. He giggly excitedly at the thought as he moved out of the nice paper lady's way and followed her down to ground floor again. The cool shadowy magicy guy was offering her a deal, frantically Bristlebane thought of what he had that she would want. Money? he had lots of that, wait that was it. The nice army lady said that they could meet back here tomorrow and do some fun stuff like blowing up the spider thingy so he filed away that information and then moved onto his plan. "Hey nice lady, i have an offer for you and its a good one. If you teach me how to use paper magic then... I'll be a slave for you! I can do lots of things, like carry things, make music for you, ummmm, set up camp if you ever need to do that, and i got lots of money so I can pay for you if you want to stay at an inn or something." he said to Chloe beaming with delight at his brilliant idea. He was positive that there was no way the magic lady would refuse his generous offer and he would finally learn how to use magic. For some reason all the other mages he managed to find had told him that he was to wild and irresponsible. Bristlebane had no idea why, last time he broke into a bank he had totally owned up to, coincidentally that town had had a really nice prison.

Salazar felt the emotions of the party that had gathered pressing against the walls of the mental fortress constructed in the illusionists mind. It was akin to the heady feeling of drunkenness yet every muddled feeling, emotion and question came to his mind with complete clarity. It was a heady cocktail of confidence, fear, aggression, loyalty and deceit. One that told Salazar all he needed to know about the party. His eyelids shut for a second as he remembered the instruction his teacher had once bestowed upon him. “An Illusionist is nothing without the inborn ability to read minds” The grizzled Grim growled at the young man that was his protégé “To heed the darkest fears and the most upheld ideals is how we ply our trade…so you must learn to decipher the emotions” the man’s voice was more guttural noise than human words “Got it? Good” Salazar opened his eyes to the group which had once more gotten bigger in the moments he had taken to compose himself. Things were crawling walls and another mage had gathered to the cause. The little trip of reverie down memory lane had taken longer than the Illusionist had expected. He caught the final part of Hazael’s speech and nodded gently, the fighting was something he could possibly not help with too greatly…illusions were notoriously ineffective against things of lower intelligence. Looking over the group he noticed a prostrated man kneeling to the mage that had appeared. He stifled a grin “ahh…Chloe Chevalier…such an honour that you grace us with our presence” he said with a good natured smile before clapping Hazael on the shoulder and leaning down to whisper to her “When they leave…I must have a chat with you…in private” He straightened back up and held his palm out, blue energy flowing into it and creating multiples of the little blue bird messengers that was his favoured method of communication. He breathed animation in to them before letting them loose to gather some favours he deemed necessary. The birds, crystalline sapphire formations, shot into the air and spread out quickly.

New Torrea
Tsubasa
"Triple, huh? You remember, I hope, that half of my fee is paid up front and that it may increase based on expenses I incur?" Tsubasa crossed his arms as he turned to Hazael, but this time he wore the smallest semblance of a smirk. "My equipment is very important to me. Having it taken away, even temporarily, is going to cost you. But, for three times the price...sure. Consider Donat as good as dead." He turned away to head back to the same inn he'd mentioned before. "Remember, half the money by tomorrow, or I can't guarantee anything gets done. Same inn as before, ask for Kojiro." A fake attempt on the King, for the purposes of getting close to Donat. A bit of a roundabout...but potentially two birds with one stone, if he played his cards right. The fake attempt would give him the layout of the castle, and having the guards under Hazael's control on his side would give him plenty of escape opportunities or ways to get back into places that would no doubt be under heavier guard after the attempt on the King. It wasn't nearly as bad a plan as he'd initially thought, but...only an amateur wouldn't expect something to go wrong. No strategy, no matter how articulate, survives reaching the battlefield. He'd need to do a little bit of "research" tonight...but that would be no problem.

Astarte & Hazael
People seemed to come together a bit better now. They were now willing to follow her, or at least, that's what she thought. Now, what was next? She motioned something to her brother on the rooftop. If someone were to turn around, they'd see a shadow hurrying out of sight. Kendrick, Hazael's brother, who was watching over everything and will now inform everyone of Hazael's companions and who they should be watching. It was thought, Hazael was almost sure that Donat was already on their case. She felt the approaching danger, that's for sure, but right now, she couldn't back down, not after so many preparations. "Dismissed, then. We will meet right here again tomorrow." Astarte was confused as ever, and wanted to demand some kind explanation. What his sister had said meant nothing to him. He'd follow her to her home if necessary, but he wanted a real run down on how the hell did Hazael got on to everything that was happening. "Sis, I-!" Before he could say anything, Hazael stopped him by simply putting her hand up. "Ask anything you want to Kendrick. I have some things to take care of right now. Don't be late tomorrow, Assie." Hazael said, smiling at her brother and then walked to where Salazar was and motioned with her head for him to follow her. When she was sure there was no one else aroudn, she raised her voice. "Then, what is this about, Salazar?"
The Next Day
Three figures stood next to the gate, at afternoon. Donat didn't do anything all throughout the night, and that was all the more worrying. In the gate were the three siblings of the Triumvirate. Many looked at them, all armed up and wearing suits of armor. Hazael was wearing really light armor, as well as her brother Kendrick, who had a bow hanging around his back, and lastly, her baby brother, Astarte was using heavy duty armor that looked extremely heavy, along with a sword and shield.
"So, dear sister of mine, how the hell are we going to bring the other pair of girls here with the Arachnoblaster in our butss, huh?" Kendrick said, while Hazael just sighed. "Whaaaat... No comeback, really? I thought you were a better straightman, woman, that this, sis." Kendrick then started laughing sarcastically. "Then, were there any hot chicks in the group from yesterday? I got a look, but not a real good look at them.... Did any of them have a nice body, sis, unlike you, that are merely bones and skin?" With that, Kendrick won himself a punch to the face. "Ouchie! I've told you not to do that, sis, my face is my toold of trade." He stroked his nose as he said that. "Shut up already, Ken. I've got enough to worry about as it is." Hazael said, though she said so, she didn't seem all that stressed, meanwhile Astarte didn't talk at all, though. 'He must be nervous... I can't blame him.' (@Musoka Let's do that chat through PM's, sorry. :P)
