They're doing some sort of event called Convergence which is meshing the New52 and Pre-Flashpoint stories so it's likely going to be mostly the New52 but most of the things people complained about being gone are likely going to be back haha.

You guys need to remember that they're going for a New 52 style universe and Hal seems pretty young in that continuity
Where in the New52 is Batman twenty years older than Superman?
I'm going off of the fact that superman's costume is very similar to his New 52 look and also because Cyborg is going to be a member of the Justice League. Also they cast Ezra Miller as the flash and he looks young so I wouldn't be surprised if Hal is young as well since they are close friends in the comics.

Eh ten years at the most. I myself as a millennial will always see John Stewart as the Green Lantern. Idris Elba would kill it but I want other less established actors to be given a chance.
I like John but Hal is just better characterized for me. Hal and Guy are my favorites, I never understood why so many people didn't like him

Way I hear it Starfire is gonna be getting her own solo series, with Red Hood and Arsenal getting rebranded into the imaginatively titled Red Hood/Arsenal.

I'm looking forward to the post-Convergence DCU. Dr. Fate is getting another monthly [but I hear it's still on Earth 2 possibly], Martian Manhunter is going solo, GL Lost Army will replace GLC, and we're getting another new League title. JL Dark is being retitled Dark Universe, possibly to tie into that movie that director insists on making. And there will also be a book for the rest of the mystics called Mystic U [Universe?] as well as We Are Robin where a street gang tries to be Batman's new sidekicks. Some of this stuff sounds interesting, still a lot of stuff DC could be putting out there though. Superman's new power isn't bad, his new costume though is barely what I'd call a new costume and a step down IMHO. ~KL~

The only new monthly that really caught my interest was Black Canary but as superficial as this is, the cover art is throwing me off. Still will likely give it a chance. Probably will also check out Harley Quinn/Powergirl since that sounds good for some laughs.

I think the problems with the film mostly had to do with the fact that it was confined to the arkham universe, I think the story could have better if it wasn't tied down by the video games. Aside from the story I really enjoyed the movie, I thought the character dynamics were really great and Captain Boomerang was hilarious. But I really wished they didn't kill off KGBeast so early

My mistake, what I should have said was that I think the fact that Batman had to feature in it in someway may have hindered it. I just feel like the Squad could have gone on a really big mission and would have had a better story if they didn't have to have the movie take place in Arkham. I hope the Suicide Squad live action movie has a bigger and better story.
