Name: Adrain Tyler Age: 48 Background: Adrain taught biology at the local high school and is recently separated from his wife after an affair with the school secretary. She took his youngest daughter with her. His son who is 23 has not spoken to him since the divorce. Though this was never taken public, most people heard the rumors. Generally laid back and mellow Adrain is well liked by many townsfolk, though his reputation with the fairer sex has been dramatically damaged by allegations of the affair. In light of the hell that they now live in Adrain longs to reconnect with his family, but has no idea where they might now be. He didn't have the best experience in high school growing up. He was considered the nerdy kid in class. (Because he was open about a love of video games) Everest had a rough home life. His parents were not very involved in raising him. They were more likely to buy him something to get him out of their hair then to actually mentor him. Same goes for his little sister Lily. After high school, Everest attended the local community college. He began pursuing a degree in music production. He also got a job at Gamestop. Everest was at work when everything happened. He came home to an empty house with no sign of where anyone went. He grabbed what he could and left. Items: Everest was able to grab a survival knife his father got him for his birthday one year. He has never really used it. It was part of a survival kit. He never thought it would come in handy until now. Inside the rest of the kit: Two life straw water filters, 10 waterproof matches, emergency led headlamp, emergency radio. His school backpack to carry everything. Smartphone, charger, 3 bottles of water, and 10 cans of spaghettios. His favorite book: Looking For Alaska by John Greene. And one change of clothes. Age: 23 Gender: Female Description: Feisty. Outgoing. Happy-Go-Lucky. Sarcastic. Adventurous. Goofy. Background: Iris was born of Italian descent into a lower class family. Her mother and father were both unemployed, and she never had quite the easiest time keeping a job growing up. She is the youngest of 3 children; her two older brothers: Ian and Ivan. Twins, and both quite the troublemakers. Growing up Iris spent a lot of her time with her brothers, following them around like a lost puppy. They protected and kept her safe, but also brought her into the world of vices while mom and dad were away trying to find work, or sleeping soundly in bed after a night of partying. A party here and there, a drink here and there to match. Iris couldn't keep track of her days, her nights, or the faces of the people she slept with, and to be honest she almost didn't care. There wasn't too many memories of that night besides the rancid taste of vomit in her mouth and the gaping gash on her forehead when she crashed into a truck. She was lucky no one was killed, but she did face the consequences. Her license was suspended and she was given enough community service hours to last a life time. The bus was her only means of transportation these days, and she used it quite often. It was when traveling to her community service building she noticed something wasn't quite right. Items: Just the contents of her purse and what it can carry: A lighter, cigarettes, wallet, her work papers, some sanitary items, Tylenol, cellphone, glasses case, hair brush, and a half used tube of burgundy lipstick. Skills: Speed- She has gotten pretty quick from her days of running from the police. Rough Housing- She has two older brothers, what can you expect? Making friends- Iris tends to make friends wherever she goes, at least she'd like to think so. Other: Iris has a small black widow spider tattoo on her foot.

Name: Dolro Oublier Age: 24 Background: With her father being head at the towns police station, and her mother as a Phlebotomists expert at the local hospital, it seemed like Dolro had two options; live with the connections of her father and work in the law enforcement or, become a nurse with her mothers connections to the health departments. Wanting neither of these, she moved out of their home some few towns away and began working at a small diner as a cook, hoping to start from scratch and make her way up the Culinary scale. She put her life towards it, working day in and day out for a passion of her own for roughly three years of school. It didn't make a difference when the apocalypse arrived, and people began eating one another. Items: A wooden axe, stolen, while her backpack has a map, a pistol with no ammo, a stolen lighter, some first aid material, some canned goods and some clothes she, again, stole. Skills: Basic medical skills, good at compromising tough situations, good with a knife thanks to culinary. Sewing and singing as well

Name: Ben Clark Age: 22 Background: Ben was a student at a University studying for a degree in software engineering. When this mess started he was visiting his parents at their new home in Riverside. He barely had time to get out of the house after the neighbours crashed through the back door and ate the family dog. Ben had only been scraping by at university, lacking the motivation to do much other than sleep and party. Ben is a keen runner for two reasons: 1. To keep fit and 2) to sweat out his hangovers. He's doesn't know anyone in town having just visited for the first time so he has been quite lonely during his stay in Riverside. However he was probably going to be meeting a lot of more of the townspeople in the days to come: both alive and dead. Items: The clothes on his back and a spade from someone's garden. Skills: Stamina: Ben is not fast but he can go for miles. Poor Sense of Direction: He is almost completely lost in Riverside. Untrusting: Being the new guy in town makes him wary of strangers.

Name: Devika Jones Age: 22 Background: Devika is an adopted college student from the south. She's intelligent and quick witted, and good with people. Her parents were both in law, so she grew up learning to debate and speak well, and to stick to her convictions with courage and pride. While she may not be the most physically adept or combat ready, she is willing to learn. She knows someone has to carry the stories of the days after the world ended, and she is willing to take that challenge. Items: Large notebook, pens and pencils, metal bar (for melee), a couple of books that might be useful for fire material Skills: Well spoken, writes well, excellent memory, sharp eye for detail, is a very quick learner

As a child he learned how to play guitar, and growing up, loved kids. so he became a daycare teacher. He was on his way home from drill when the outbreak escalated. Items: flashlight, fire axe, pocket knife. Skills: Hand to hand military training, very persuasive and charismatic, play guitar (that I'm sure doesn't count but what the hell.) Unfortunately, he has bad eyesight without glasses.

She had her brother Everest around, but they never really spent too much time together, especially not since he'd gone to college and she was still stuck in school. She had a complete circle of friends, most of whom were only there because her parents were rich, showering her with gifts, but very few words. She had taken athletics elementary school, and by the time she got to high school, she was rated among the top of her class. She also enjoyed occasionally partying with her friends, but mostly spent time in her room listening to music, writing, and updating social media. When the news of the outbreak hit, her parents were nowhere to be seen, and her brother at work, so she left on her bike to go find him, but by the time she got to the gamestop, he was no longer there. Name: Damien "D" Savage Age: 23 Background: Damien attended the local community college on track to go to law school. He almost lost his funding last year when he was brought up on charges of battery and sexual assault of one of his classmates, but the investigation was discontinued after the girl recanted her statements about what happened. No one really doubts that these allegations could have been true as Damien's temper is well known and it is generally accepted that he would have gone to prison already had his brother not been an officer with pull at the local station. More than once he had pulled Damien's butt out of the fire. Items: Backpack, Hunting knife, Unlabeled bottle of medicine? Skills: Brawling, Intimidating, firearms

Name: Dima Kriskof Age:30 Background:Dima is a native Russian, and is proud of his heritage. His father was an outdoorsman and passed the passion on to his son. Before his father, Taras, died in an accident. Dima is a typical Russian man, roughly 6ft/5in tall, and heavily stubbled. He is on vacation visiting America to experience the country. This is his first time in America, and has been here for a few months. He cannot speak or understand a lot of English. Dima is used to living off of the land and is an avid hunter and fisher. He is very friendly and non impulsive. But is a recovering alcoholic. Dima generraly keeps to himself, although he isn't antisocial.
