So I'm somewhat interested in this, but I have a few questions first: 1) How does magic work in this world? Are there magic words? Runes? Staffs? Is magic based on the elements, or on some outside form of energy? 2) Does alchemy/potion making exist in this world? 3) What kinds of non-human playable creatures live in this world? 4) What kind of creatures live here? Are there, for example, dragons or griffons or unicorns? 5) What is the government of Caradia based on? Is this medieval feudalism or some other form of government/political system?

I would imagine Caradia is based on feudal imperialism, given it's an empire with a monarch at it's head. But that's me assuming as a player.

Holy explosion of magical theory, Batman! That's why I like to stick to the ol' "jab a sharp pointy thing at peoples' important bits until they stop moving" tactic, lol. But anywho, I added the history to my character so hopefully she's up to snuff.

*sighs heavily* Review the last three pages for question number one. We're an empire, there's an emperor and his empress, and there are important lords and ladies and houses all around the giant empire. Yes alchemy and such still exists in the form of potions and things of that nature It's a fantasy world. There are mystical creatures, all of which wild and not tameable. We might encounter them in passing, they do not exist in great numbers so you do not see them often. The only thing you're gonna see a lot of is the nasty creatures I explained in the opening post of the ooc. And no you cannot be a half human kind of anything or some other kind of species. If any of those get run in to, they will be an NPC with a particular plot convenience point but that's it. Did I miss anything that time? Sorry if that sound particularly pointed but there's been an onslaught of questions for my other rps as well. And Free I was liking your character before the history so go ahead and post in the rp if ya like. And Skittles may post as well.

You do seem rather hostile, Sana. I know your pain. I'm running a fantasy rp myself and the amount of questions I get asked on a daily basis is enough to drive me into a mental institution (like when this morning some guy asked me how far apart the buildings were in one of the cities in inches). I probably won't be joining, though, as I have a lot of human characters over there and I wanted to play as something nonhuman over here for a little bit of a breath of fresh air. Oh well. Perhaps I should’ve ended the post at her manners, but I figured her basically standing back as more of the “riff raff” arrived would be opportune and I could write a little bit about her thoughts as she awaited [the scene] to basically continue.

There I fixed it. I still don't know where Hector is, but he didn't speak to them so what Adralyn thought still works.

Alright, I positioned Hector for maximum self-esteem issues.

Hector is now open game for Adralyn's pain optimism to strike. She will make him interact regardless of whether he wishes to or not XD And yes, there is security in the garden to make up for the lack of a guard not being directly around the royals. I wasn't planning on going in to much detail about them since they're Esmeralda's guard, but I can dabble a little in it next time

I am not complaining: I just wanted to try and show how Thomas thinks, though he did not proceed as well as he could have done.

Enjoying the setup so far, Hector's analogies (allegories?) were interesting and Thomas' thoughts trailed as I thought they would. =)
