Backstory: Before joining the crew Joanna was a worker at a Apothecary in a town where there, she learned much of medicine from her employer who was a middle-aged man who taught her the basics of medicine. There she developed her skills in medicine through personal and self study with the assistance of the library that was available to her when she was working there. Although not professionally trained, she was able to learn much from the enormous amount of books and soon branched out into studying diseases. This was useful for Joanna as it helped her identify what was needed for a buyer's needs, as she was able to see what kind of symptoms they had. At the same time she started another buisness, dealing with poisons to those who had enough money to buy them from her. At the apothecary she had the available supplies to make what was needed to make what her buyers wanted. However she was soon found out by the owner and was unfortunately fired but she had already made her money, so she went on a small adventure to pursue her own personal goals. On these small adventures she was having, she spent a good time studying the toxins of snakes but during the same time she was recruited by the crew of Free Wind Mage: Joanna is a black mage who specializes in the magic of uses diseases and with this skill applies the use of poisons as well creating techniques which can kill opponents in various lengths of time without her being there if she wanted. Outside her specialization other uses of Black Magic she wields them at a level slightly above basic knowing slightly more but her ability to versatility use them are however limited due to her inexperience with the area of magic. Skills: Joanna has experience in the field of medicine and before joining the crew worked in an apothecary and is well versed with plants that are used to create various kinds of potions. However, with her skills in medicine and plants she uses that knowledge to produce poisons that have various effects and potency. Outside the medical field, she is avid ophiologist and focuses on the majority of the venomous snakes due to her interests in her toxins that they heave.
