I'm thinking of joining, but I've only plays through gen 2. Could I be a berry/apricorn farmer with a butterfree I raised from a caterpie (caught it eating one of by plants and used an apricorn ball on it)?
Of course if you get confused with the new pokemon or references ill refer you to the pokemon wiki

@Pie Flavor your levels are a tad to high for starting out especially for someone whose not a battler
ehhh i'll make them bare minimum which is basically like evolution level then, unless we could have different staged pokemon at lower levels.

@Prints Avoid yeah, I should have made that more clear haha. I like your character history, and an Aipom nice! any idea what you'll be doing first?
Hoenstly I'm not sure. From the goal I've set for him, he'll be moving through regions pretty slowly. So unless I find some reason for him to have a set destination it's a lot of sitting around in the wild watching Pokemon and complaining, moving on occasionally. I think it might work out in my favor to have him seek out Professor Rowan, who could give him assignments and such. "Go research the Snover, see how they behave differently when they've evolved", go visit Johto and see if you can find any difference in the Aipom there, etc. etc

Zenn, do you want our characters to meet? They might have actually met each other before, though, as their stories and locations are so close.

Yeah, I sent him to Eterna just because a month seemed to long to travel between Jubilife and Sandgem. And since he passing through Floaroma, maybe he and @Pie Flavor's character can meet up

I've got a question. Why do you get paid for beating trainers? Is it just customary for them to pay anyone that beats them, as a reward for their effort, or are we betting on the fights? And does the league give them the money or do they earn it themselves fighting other trainers?

@TheUnknowable I thought of it as an understood courtesy, like saying bless you in this world. Also when all your pokemon have fallen to exhaustion you have no means of self defense. Your opponent still has some left its better to offer up a cash reward than being robbed

Yeah, I think so. I'm not entirely sure how though. Just find a way to meet up with everyone else?
