It's a nation roleplay with multiple militaristic nations and people who want to make sure they're being understood and not assumed anything.
And I doubt any of us are perfect. Sure, coming to think about it, me and him could've collaberated and written a single post with the entire battle, from start to finish, with full consideration to both sides.
Except... that usually happens afterwards. We're post-by-post, so that kinda thing is usually only by those who prefer them or seek them. I don't.
I found that following strict rules usually got me hated. I used to be the GM of multiple skype roleplays, on multiple roleplays on a different, now closed website, and on Minecraft and some other online games. Strict rule-following is great for the things like excessive cursing or being a straight-up asshole, but this is nation roleplay. We can't specify everything, and we're not going to be perfect. Arguing WILL happen. Repeatedly. It may or may not have my two cents in every single argument, whether because I'm part of it or because I think my opinion is, in some way, relevant.
That's my bit of experience. Just say the word and I'll scat because i'm imperfect.
