It's just a warning for next time. He's an npc, but he's a named npc. I give you guys limited control over them, but not total. For example, if sara was someone's wingman, I'd allow them to control sara in combat.

I'd say that depends on the mission parameters. But it's ultimately up to Myke.

Tis up to hex who wings with who, but we agreed that current teams are:
Sokolov and Astelion - putting them in a team makes it easier to ignore them as NPCs
Beowulf and Kimiyosis - Both are heavies, and despite the fact that Kimi's unit serves as a ranged unit, it has plenty of staying power
Hexaflexagon and Harbringer - mainly for story/upgrade purposes, but also because both are mediums/relatively sturdy

This group would probably make up the core of the formation, a sturdy front line with good close flanking ability.

Princess and Reaper - Both use relatively mobile units and have similar engagement ranges and would be able to keep up with eachother
Myself and Deadnaut - Both use high speed units, and have similar engagement ranges as well

These two teams would probably act as far left and far right flanks of the formation

Howler and Sara - Would work well as a scout-sniper team, and would either go ahead of the formation or snipe from another angle.


^ These teams are subject to change as Hex feels necessary and as suits his strategic combat style, but those are the defaults

Huh. I woulda thought Wes would've been thrown in with Delacroix, seeing as both their units are close quarters fighters who belong on the front range, not in the back protecting artillery.

Looks like artillery to me.

What I'm saying is that Wes and hers wouldn't really mesh well together. Wes would run to the front of the battlefield while Yuu would be forced to stay back. They're not really much of a team.

Also, Myke. I'm requesting the chance to bump up Disposal's gatling gun caliber. 30mm seems more akin to an assault rifle than a minigun. Perhaps 35 or 40?

Well, there is the case of utilizing either of the two primaries at times.
The Auto-Flak or the Laser cannon

Granted, the concept was based off me playing a flash game called Final Fortress(2)

They're still on the front lines. And like I said, those formations are subject to change at the squad leader's whimsy.

Also, miniguns fire assault rifle caliber rounds. They just fire them at an extremely high rate of fire. If anything, a minigun/rotary gun should be using a smaller round rather than a bigger round. Most of the other gatling style weapons in this RP are currently firing 20mm rounds instead of 30mm rounds, so no I will not be allowing you to bump it up to a 35 or 40mm.

Yeah, but nobody said she couldn't just shotgun the enemy with an artillery shell at point-blank range. I mean, even if the explosive isn't primed, that's still a very massive shell hitting them.

Just look at what Soviet SU-152s did to tanks like the Elefant even without penetrating their armour.
