@WilsonTurner I'm sorry, but I didn't gather that it was limited to Skyrim from the intro post. It never stated that. I interpreted the reference to the lore to be merely a starting point, but that there were no limitations. If the GM can confirm this, then I will consider a new character.

It takes someone who's read a bit of Elder Scrolls lore to realize that it's all set in the Elder Scrolls universe. The date, the locations, all of it is all Elder Scrolls.

Who knows, maybe he will. I just don't see why you're making it needlessly complicated. Dark elf is pretty much a night elf- but no one has EVER called them night elves. I haven't even considered the name. Is it so hard to just change the age more in line to that of a Dunmer's, and change "Night" to "Dark"? The name would be unusual for a Dunmer, but there have been stranger names.

He may have had a relative that died, snowed under with hw, internet provider bought out and abruptly removed for renovation, etc.

I agree, we really should let him handle it. I say there can't be mutiny until he has been offline AT LEAST a full week. Anything could have happened and since he hasn't officialy called it off I still have hope
