well welcome to the land of the sort of living Steven. Your right you did get stabbed but as you can see you are alive. Right now your in our home base so to speak, but really its a clubroom at a school which you should start attending. When I was their with you did you not promise to do your best at whatever you do. well this is part of it, you are now a devil and more specifically a devil of house Amadeus. Sorry we aren't more cleaned up but we had a big fight recently so we may not look like were in our best shape. you pledged your loyalty to my house and as such you are part of our family, you will not feel like you did when you died ever again because as a family we watch each others back. I am Lorenzo the king but everyone calls me boss, Taiga is the pawn which he just left. speaking of which. Lorenzo looked over in his desk and saw lamia relaxing and I said mind going with taiga? she nodded and the snake slithered out of the desk and started to follow taiga and when she got close she changed into her human form and again pulled out a pipe out of her corset and walked with him as she smoke

Seeing a scoop Aya rushed in with her speed despite her injuries grabbing a tape recorder she started her normal routine of asking questions. "So Steven was it? If you dont mind answering some questions like whats your age? do you have a favorite color? do you have a girlfriend? in your own words what do you think of the this new situation you are in? Also some pictures if you wont mind this is all for the sake of journalism I assure you" Aya asked while bombarding the new knight with questions all the while her eyes holding a glint in them making her seem like a overly eager reporter for newspaper.

"Um... Two things Miria. One... Because of me our Queen over there ended up with more than just a few minor injuries-..." Lifting her head up she turned her gaze around letting her eyes come to a rest on Taiga as she heard him speak about her and how he believed that it was because of him that he had been hurt, removing her hand from her knee she pressed it firmly against the front of her corset keeping her breasts covered as it came loose leaving her back bare and showing only some of her injuries to their fullest extent, "Taiga... This wasn't your fault; my ending up like this had nothing to do with you; trust me. This was going to happen sooner or later, and I'm going to at least face another two of my siblings before I'm satisfied."

"And you should probably keep an eye on Kaelani." Frowning as she watched him move over to grab up his bag she turned her head allowing her gaze to flick over everyone who was left in the club room after the boss had seemed to slip out without her really taking much notice though his words about her taking over their training first thing was still ringing in the recesses of her mind causing her to close her eyes and shake her head slightly, "Alright guys, you heard the boss... I know that we're all going to be sore for a while, but we have to do what we have to do. We'll start on training tomorrow after school, nothing stressful, least not yet." Lifting her head back up she let her eyes flick open letting it come to a rest as she caught his gaze before he left the room, her eyes showing that she really was worried for him as she spoke a slight frown still gracing her features, "Taiga, be careful... Mahiro, go with him please."

Ignoring the slightly disgusted looking pout of her familiar as he shifted from his humanoid figure back into his kitsune form the moment he had finished wrapping her upper body in bandages she let go of her corset letting it fall to the couch (her breasts and shoulder covered completely by the white bandages) as she forced herself up onto her feet her face scrunching up in slight pain while Mahiro left sulkily following behind Taiga, looking around her person she leant over snatching up one of the unused bandages her injured wing folding around in front of her so that she could begin to wrap it up her eyes gliding around the room every now and then silently listening to the conversation that was floating about around her the sudden reappearance of Lorenzo causing her to look up her hands still working though now a lot slower, "Say 'hello' to the new family member guys."

Lifting her eyebrow she tilted her head to the side slightly her eyes lingering on the guy laying unconscious before the rest of the group as she let her feet carry her across the room coming to a stop only when she was standing beside Lorenzo looking down at their new Knight, "Another member this close to being attacked... Poor guy, he has no idea what his getting himself int-..." Her words were cut off however as the new member of their little family startled back to life confusion written all over his features as he searched his body for any signs of whatever it was that had killed him only moments before he had been brought into the club room for a second chance just as the rest of them had done when it had been their time, fixing off the end of the bandage she dropped her wing back behind her the ends of both of them laying over the ground behind her but she barely had the energy to stand without her limbs shaking let alone retracting them back in and letting her human form show again, there was just no way she was going to be able to do that not for a while anyway.

Furrowing her brows as she watched Aya jump on the guy without so much as a second thought she stepped forward placing her hand firmly though still gently on her shoulder giving her a small warning look telling her to back off him slightly and give him room to breath and take it all in, "Aya... It's a lot to take in, remember. Give the guy a break; you can forget about the scoop, get it another day. You know that now is not the right time, not after what just happened." Turning her head away from her she moved over to the guy her hand slipping from the girls shoulder and onto the arm of the seat as she leant on it a warm smile playing on her lips as she held her other hand out towards him, "I know this is a bit overwhelming for you, but we're here to help you okay? My name is Kaelani, I'm Lorenzo's Queen piece. If you need anything, want to ask any questions; feel free to ask me, it's what I'm here for."

"So this is the new guy huh" Harusame asked while limping towards him before getting up to get a better look at him. "Well guess I should just outright say it welcome to our little club I guess you could say. "My name is Harusame Kochiya I hope to get along with you though if yah need anyhelp dont be afraid to holla ya hear I may not be able to help with a lot but ill aid you when I can." She said before going back to sit down "my piece is that of a rook got it I may not be able to help you get used to your speed as a knight piece but im sure there are others that can help in that regards she said while gesturing to Aya."

while Lorenzo was talking towards him he calmly sets his feet on the ground and nods every time Lorenzo ends his sentence although before he knew it some girl was standing right in front of him with an recorder asking all kinds of questions at ones "you can find every answer on the internet just type my full name you find pictures, professional interviews and videos" he answered quickly looking right in the girls eyes Steven was a professional snowboarder and pretty famous since he is the youngest x-games athlete at this very moment and scoring high even earned silver on the last winter x-games although next on it there are some more spicy pictures of him wears he doesn't really wear much beside a pants. when she gets pulled away Steven follows the the arm towards another girl that smiled warmly at him. Steven smiles friendly back at her and grabs her the top of her fingers gently from the hand that she stick out towards him. he moves her hand calmly up towards his face while he twist her hand a bit so her knuckles face up before he kisses her hand and looks back straight into her eyes after it while he was talking towards him "hey Kaelani. i am here to watch your back and hoping i don't get hit with does wings" he said in a joking voice pointing towards her wings before someone else started to speak to him.he lets go of Kaelani's hand and starts looking towards the other girl that talks towards him. when she walks towards him he gets ready to catch her in case she falls over from the limping . when she is done talking he looks towards everyone straight in the eyes one by one "it is nice to meet you all. i am Steven Burton. i hope we all get along" he smiled friendly towards eveyone

Lorenzo smiled at him already knowing to brush off their journalist since he was a pro in which Lorenzo can only assume is sports. Lorenzo then sighed when he kissed Angel on the hand already flirting with his queen not 10 minutes when he wakes up. good to know but a few things you may need to know is that you weren't dreaming you were actually dead. Another thing is that you may want to try and transfer to this school because your part of my house and as such you should stay nearby so your not considered a rouge piece. Normally I would go out and be their one second but be gone the next till you finally figure out that your a devil but unfortunately we don't have that necessity so it comes down to telling you the old fashioned way. Welcome to your life as a devil and do try to fulfill your promise to me about being the best. Tomorrow you will be here training with everyone else here. For now were just finding some arrangements for getting everyone home since I don't want anyone going home alone for a while. Lorenzo said simply trying to figure out who should go with whom since they have a new piece and it was just Angel and Lorenzo that needed to get partners or to go with their new piece as a threesome home

Taiga walked calmly. Honestly, it was kind of dumb. When he thought about it, the idea of pairing up to go home was kind of weird. Even if they paired up, unless people were staying over other's homes somebody would end up going home alone anyway. Though little slumber parties were likely what would end up happening. Even then, the odds of another attack would have been low. Unless the enemy whoever it, or whatever organization it was... Seriously there were too many different people attacking at once. Onmyouji? Priest? Fallen? Even if the priest is understandable as a stray, how would the onmyouji be involved. He sighed and shook his head. And now he had not one, but two familiars with him. "Seriously, I can get home by myself safely." He mumbled to himself quietly.

He wasn't entirely sure it was all necessary. Far be it from him to question the king. He just felt some decisions could have been made better. Regardless, he had some things to handle. One... He was hungry. He needed to get food. Familiars... Do they eat? "Hey... Do you eat?" He asked the two calmly. They were about halfway to his home now. He'd need to call his employers. "Geez... It's such short notice. I hope they don't get too upset that I'll be needing to take some time off." He was speaking mostly to himself as he waited for an answer from the familiars. He probably should have asked for someone to come with him so as to avoid this, but... Girls... And even though the new piece was a guy... He didn't know him. Thoughts of his sister telling him to be more outgoing flashed through his mind, but he shook them off. He had enough to worry about without getting all upset about her.

He got to his house door with the two and opened it. "Make yourselves comfortable. And sorry you've been sent with me." He said to them as he walked in and and took off his shoes, as was customary, waiting for them for a moment before closing and locking the door. He headed to the phone first. No messages. "Tch... Like anyone would call." He sighed as he shook his head. Of course he had a cellphone, but it was dead. He picked up the phone and began to dial. "Hello?" He asked when the person picked up. They spoke for a bit and he exchanged various "uh huhs" and "yeahs" before he began. He apologized and soon hung up. "Phew... I get to keep the job." He said to himself before moving on to the kitchen so he could make something to eat. "Seriously, if you two are hungry I'd like to make enough food for all of us." He added to the two familiars.

He didn't live in a large house. Nothing huge, but it definitely wasn't tiny. It was a two story place with four rooms, two bathrooms, a family room, a kitchen, and a laundry room. His sister had gotten and maintained it. There was still money left from his parents and with his job things were going smoothly. So, he could maintain it. Though aside from the furniture and some scattered family pictures it was pretty plain and empty.

He went into the fridge. "I can probably make something... Beef, Rice..." He looked surprised. "I thought I ran out of vegetables." He whispered rummaging through everything. He would need to go grocery shopping soon. But for now... He was getting things out so he could cook for himself and then he could maybe head to bed.

"So who's going with who" Harusame called out while sitting down on the couch as she waited to find out who was heading home with who in order to best "protect them" in case of another attack if she was not mistaken. With a sigh she winced in pain as she stretched it was going to be worse tomorrow she thought as she tried stopped stretching due to the pain. With another sigh she quietly waited for an answer as she prepped her stuff sigh it kind of sucked that despite everything things had to take such a bad turn oh well if anything she now knew where she needs more practice.

at taigas place:

Lamia followed taiga to his home and when he asked if she was hungry she shook her head, as a snake she couldn't speak and even as a woman he only way of communicating was the simple shake or nod. Although she could use her pipe to make smoke messages if she tried and as she followed him back to his home she shook her head again as she made a message when she blew out smoke not staying, going back to boss. she let taiga know, now that he was home her job was done and as a familiar she could easily get back without worry. she put her pipe away and changed into a snake again then proceeded to slither back home, a human couldn't get around indiscreetly as a snake could so she was safe to get back.

club room:
me, angel, and Steven will go as a group back to his place then ill walk angel back home. Harusame you can come along if you want or you can go with lamia-chan when she gets back which I can assume will not be long. Lorenzo said thinking a group of 3 would be fine and that even Angel's familiar wouldn't try to attack both Lorenzo and the new guy when they would just be walking home for protection purposes. Lorenzo wasn't going to let anyone walk home alone for a while until he visits hell tomorrow and talks to lord Lucifer about what happened...

Aya was unsure on what to think though thankfully things was simple. It was time for rest and let the boss sort it out she was thankful for times like this is was easy and simple and most of all she was allowed to freely coast along at times. Reaching her home she casually dropped on her bed letting the day's wariness wash over her as she let herself drift off. Grabbing her phone she quickly cancelled any appointments she had for the next few days after today a few day's rest away from the hub bub of daily activity was not only earned but needed.

Harusame sighed as she walked home she knew she was being followed as per the boss's orders but she understood the basic idea behind it. Walking she let her shoulder cape cover her torso as she walked briskly to her apartment. Turning the street she reached and grabbed for the key before entering. With a sigh she slipped off her shoes and hobbled towards her recliner it wasn't the best but she rather sleep in that rather than a bed. Sliding off her eye patch to reveal a clouded eye she went to sleep it was going to be a long week for awhile she supposed.

"Actually... boss... If it's alright with you, I'm going to stay here the night. I hate to admit that Taiga is right, but I'm in no condition to go home..." Moving back from the group as she spoke, she crossed over the room, her wings dragging lightly on the ground behind her as she made her way back to the settee that she had called her own, her hand coming up to brush back some of her long black and white locks. Reaching out she let her hand slide slowly over the arm of the couch before she turned herself around, her large wings ruffling slightly as she sat back down, her head lifting so that she was able to connect her gaze with Lorenzo's, "I mean, I'm not even in any condition to change back yet... I'll be fine, I know where the blankets are, and I have my cushions. You guys go; I'll be right here when we meet tomorrow."

The Next Day

The night went by. Taiga had eaten. He wasn't sure exactly when Mahiro had left. Not much of a conversationalist. Not that Lamia was either before she went. He sighed. It was probably because Mahiro didn't really like others. Not guys anyway. But that wasn't the point. Truly it wasn't. He'd been glad when he was alone. He needed time to think. Time to himself, really. He really was upset. Angry, disappointed, frustrated... Weak. Above all else, he felt weak.

The combination of emotions was why he spent a good deal of the night doing exercises, some secret training. He was exhausted. He'd barely slept. Even when he did he had nightmares. But now he was on his way to school. Dressed, groggy, sleepy, the bandages mostly out of sight. Anything seen could be explained. He sighed. Even with the healing abilities of a devil, it might take a bit to heal up.

"Hopefully, the day goes by without much of a hitch." He sighed. "I just wanna hurry and get out of school." He mumbled to himself as he made his way to the school and up to his class and then sat down. Soon though his head dropped to his desk.

Lorenzo sighed as he got up from the club room bedroom. Yes it was where he slept because this was his home and base of operations, of course he would sleep in it. Lorenzo didn't do anything to angel while she slept here but Lorenzo was worried about her throughout the night she stayed so when he got up and made some breakfast in the small kitchen they had he made sure to make something for her to and put it on the night stand next to the couch for her as he went and changed into his uniform. Once Lorenzo changed he put a note next to the breakfast 'if you don't get up by the time school starts ill just say you were absent and let you sit this day out, feel better' Lorenzo sighed as he got his bag and went to class knowing that above all else Angel was the one hurt the most since she needed to be carried back from her injuries. Lorenzo is going to talk to lord Lucifer once school was over and try to get to the bottom of this. He got into class and went through all the formalities as he sat down and waited for class to start...

With a sigh Harusame sat through the class barely paying attention to morning banter of people. Her eyes was closed her hand gently resting on her head as she rested from last nights excursions. To be honest she would rather have stayed home and slept but she doubt that would have flied well with her boss. Sitting down she let her thoughts drift off mainly focusing on how to get stronger to make sure she wasn't helpless again the feeling it gave was one that she was sure she would never forget. Letting out a soft sigh she could only hope that everyone else was ok and not to badly injured.

If anyone was outside they could hear the tree leaves as if a strong wind blew on them, but in reality it was not the wind.
hidden in the tree at the edge of the close by forrest (?) Was a single figure clad in green black clothing and robe, only his/her eyes were visible under the cap and above the robes high collar.

The figure looked at the school from its hidding spot and sighed as if the person was not into what it was doing.
under the robe it grabbed some pieces of paper, pictures of some people or students in this school, according to what the person was told they were all devils and the person was told to kill them...

Her soft pink lips parted as she began to stir on the couch that she had made herself comfortable on the night before, the light from the sun streaming in through the club room window causing the rays hitting her to warm up her body, in turn causing her brows to furrow together and her lips to turned up in a gentle smile as the sensation spread through her. Groaning softly she slowly opened her eyes, letting the dark brown orbs adjust to the light of the room before she flicked them over everything that was lain out in front of her, the young woman happy to just lay there and enjoy the silence and aura that was surrounding her.

Closing her eyes once again she pushed her hands into the couch cushion, shifting her body into a sitting position as she very slowly slid her legs around and off the couch, the balls of her bare feet lightly brushing over the rug that covered the floor underneath her, the several blankets that she had managed to cover herself with the night before slipping down to her lap as she moved, now revealing a more human looking girl rather than the beaten up fallen angel that had been in her place yesterday.

Scrunching up her face in both pain and suppression she hunched her shoulders slightly as she did her best to stifle the yawn that was escaping through her lips, her arm lifting up as she slid her fingers into her hairline, working as best as she could to push the long dark brown locks back off her face though it was all in vein, the long strands of hair falling naturally back into place the moment she lowered her arm back down, "So I see you've finally decided to wake up, remind me again why I had to go home with the one responsible for all of this..?"

"Huh..?" Lifting her head up she narrowed her eyes slightly, her gaze slowly scanning the room around her before they finally came to rest on the familiar figure of the kitsune leaning against the wall near her desk, his eyes full of worry as he kept a careful watch over his mistress, wanting nothing more than to make sure that she was alright and that she wouldn't hurt herself anymore than she already was, "He had nothing to do with my injuries, and if you want to get technical about it all, if it was not for him giving me more power... I more than likely would not be here right now..."

"Kaelani, he was reckle-..." His words cut off quickly as soon as he caught the look that she was giving him, the young fallen obviously not in the mood to hear out her familiar's jealous or angered opinions of the events of the day before, her eyes falling down to the plate of food and the note that was sitting on the nightstand that stood beside the couch, scrunching up her face in pain she reached over picking up the note between her fingers so that she could read over it, her eyes focusing on the words that were on the page in front of her as she spoke, "He was doing the best that he can, now I don't want to hear you ever speak another word about it. Understood?"

Twisting her body slightly she let herself fall back down onto the couch, her arm lifting up over her head as she dropped the note on the table, her stomach growling as the smell of food hit her, though she did her best to ignore it... she was still completely exhausted, there was no way she was going to have the energy to go to class and then hold the regular club meeting later on that day. No, today was going to be used for nothing more than resting up... and now, she was going to sleep until she couldn't any longer. Reaching down towards her feet she grabbed hold of the blankets, pulling them up and under her chin as she turned into the back of the couch, her back facing the rest of the room as she closed her eyes, letting herself slip back into a slumber...

Lorenzo went through the school day like it was any other but to anyone who could notice he was not paying attention to anything the teacher was saying and was instead focused on getting to the bottom of this situation and to figure out what caused all this. Lorenzo couldn't let this ever happen again.

As soon as school ended Lorenzo went to the clubroom and went to find their evidence and to check on Angel Angel I hope you are feeling better. just stay off your feet for a while I want you to make sure that everyone starts training. We cant have a repeat of what happened so im trusting you to handle things while im away, if you are in trouble Lamia-chan is in my desk Lorenzo told her as he went and grabbed the sleeping fallen and the staff used on of his pieces and he created a magic circle before transporting to hell and he walked through the halls to get to lord Lucifer...

School ended and doing what she always did Harusame quickly did her usual she forced her way through students and went towards the her club room. Thankfully the abandoned building that it was situated at had multiple rooms in it but this time she headed out back of the building. She was weak that was for certain but never again she thought as she went through motions she did not have a weapon she was not born into the supernatural like some people. In terms of strength the only thing that stood out about her was her strength and even than it was nothing special gravity infused punches along with the natural strength of a rook. With those thoughts in mind she continued her onslaught punching the rock with nothing more than trying to control her sacred gear a bit more.

The figure was moving around in a manner only something that was less then human could, trying to explore the building where it was told the targets could be found.
Suddenly the figure stopped, a female was punching a rock, it did not seem like there was anything special to the female as far as the figure could see.

Still just to be sure it grabbed the pictured and checked if this female was one of the targets, once the right picture was located did the figure sighed and put the pictures away.
The figure grabbed something from its pocket and threw it to the female, not knowing its punches were enhanced with gravity.
The small orb got lodged between the females fist and the rock as planned but while it should activate the moment the girl hits the orb, the gravity knocked the orb away, activating the bomb of light while it flew into the air.

Having failed the figure tried to run, but the light was strong enough that his/ her vision was effected and it fell out of the tree on its head with a loud thud and the pained moans of a girl...
She tried to get up and run away but immediately fell down again due to the blow to her head, all she could do was try and protect herself but first she had to figure out which side was up and soon as she was told the devils would kill her the moment they found her...
