Scorpio had been walking home from work, when aliens began abducting people, and things began blowing up, other people seemingly trying to fight back. His mouth thinned into an annoyed scowl that only those of hotheaded descent could create. Feck! I won't get home till late and mum and Valerica will be worried. Ah well, He gave an internal shrug. What am I supposed to do when ordinary folks might get hurt? He ducked into an alleyway and shifted, everything that had been on him transfering into the earth, an odd, but useful connection he had with the earth.

He leapt out of the alleyway in the form of a blonde lion, black King Cobra patterns in his fur. He gave a ferocious roar and started to run towards the place where all the chaos was centered.

Keeping track of where everyone was in the ship was not practical. It was quite a large ship to explore. At this rate everyone might not make it. While Angel had seen others dart about assisting there didn't even seem to be any sort of order. It a brief moment of clarity Sarah and Angel came to the same conclusion. They needed to land this thing or it was going to cause loss of life somewhere. Hopefully someone would be able to help but there was no way of really knowing. Since the craft had no power of its own the only other option was external.

Teleporting to the front of the ship gave a stark reminder of how quickly it was truly plummeting. Matching its speed she slowed until she could place her hands against it. Against the notion of self preservation Angel began to envelope the front of the ship in a barrier. Making one large enough to hold the whole ship was out of the question, but by bracing against the front perhaps she could slow it down at the very least. The portions against the barrier shimmered and the ship groaned as its decent met resistance. Sarah could tell that Angel was weakening by the second. It was something that hadn't ever happened before, running out of the magical energy that sustained the alter ego. What would result from it? Would she revert back to normal? That would not end well, she could not fly like Angel could. A little late to question it now because the ship was practically sitting on them.

Coast City, Night

This city was truly in a mire of crime and villainy. Of course it was not as bad off as other cities, but the disappearance of the Hero Hal Jordan, did take a toll on the city. The morale of the people was ravaged at the disappearance of a once great hero. He who swore to protect them in their darkest times. Yet when it arrived, he was nowhere to be seen.

In these troubling times, the people needed something to believe in. Someone they could count on, to protect them from the things that went bump in the night. Someone, who would be able to fight off the mutated freaks and ego-maniacal eggheads who used their gifts for something truly terrible. They needed a hero.

Despite the pleas of the people, they would receive no hero. No, what they would experience was a terror spoken in hushed whispers. Something that they would assume was only a urban legend. A creature that did not care about the plight of these pitiful apes, and only wished to cause destruction.

Of course Pterrordactyl was already doing that, in its glorified rampage upon the city. This left it open for a different sort of terror, something more inconspicuous. Blrblbubblrubblub, Slimey, or also commonly, 'What the HELL is THAT?' as it was so called took this position in Coast City.

The green blob slithered under the cover of nightfall, moving in and out of the dead end alley. Of course it left a wet-trail behind as it maneuvered in and out. The creature was only concerned with one thing and one thing only.

Food. Slimey needed to eat. It needed to consume. The city landscape had oodles of food, but Slimey craved something more substantial. The sound of a kitten mewing sparked up Slimey's interests. The creature proceeded to slide in the direction of the sound.

Going further in an alleyway, where a few doors led a small grey cat with a pink bow still lodged in its collar began moving out. In the distance there was a cry from a young girl, "Mittens! Mittens where are you!?" The grey furred creature flicked up its ears as it paused. Slimey knew what it had to do.

It was fight or flight. That thing, that made the louder noise gave it the opportunity to strike. Quickly slithering up behind the kitten the slime caught it off guard. It was then the young girl arrived.

She was no older than six or seven years of age, with twin pig-tails. She saw as the Blrbl had caught the kitten. It was yelping in agony, as Slimey was dissolving the flesh from its bones. The girl watched in utter terror as the creature was beginning in the consumption of her loyal companion. She immediately ran back the way she came, "MOOOOOOOOOOMMMY A T-THING IS EATING MITTENS!"

Slimey heard more, and louder footsteps. This delicious and succulent meal, may had to be cut short. At least Slimey felt bigger, and stronger. It would hunt better prey in time. But for now, Slimey had to flee.

March 5,2020:

As you attempted to stop, or at the very least, slow the ship down you began to realize it wasn't enough. Fortunately you weren't alone in the skies, it seems that someone much more powerful happened to have some free time, and showed up to lend his help. A blur of red and blue raced through the skies, and under the mother-ship. The clouds in the wake of this streak parted, revealing even more of the night sky. Suddenly you felt as if a great burden was being lifted, quite literally, as the ship slowly began to steady, and in a few moments was set down onto a small island off the shore. The being flew back up to you, and the first thing you noticed was a giant 'S' shield, much like superman's; but this person seemed to be far younger, a Superboy if you will. "I would have been here earlier, but it seems all us 'super' people are busy these days." The boy quickly turned his head to the distance. "Like right now." Superboy then disappeared as quickly as he came, presumably towards Metropolis, the home of his older counterpart.

To Everyone:

Every civilian on the streets, or behind a television set, in Jump City were glued in place as the red and blue blur saved them all. They couldn't tell who it was, Superman? Supergirl? But it didn't matter, the ship was stopped from crashing into the city, the aliens were gone, and that's all that matters. People gave cheers of joy as the being zoomed in and out of their city. Various cheers could be heard, mostly people just voicing their happiness or supporting whom they had assumed had saved them.

"HEEEEEELP!"
"Quiet, lady! Nobody's gonna help you here! You heard the news: Green Lantern is gone!"

A thuggish, evil-smelling man in a gray hoodie clutched a purse in his hands. Judging by the screaming woman he was running away from, the purse probably wasn't his. The thug sprinted out the alleyway and rounded the corner before his victim could work up enough courage to chase after him.

With fearful hatred in her heart, the woman escaped the alley and searched for the man who robbed her. Fortunately, she didn't have to look very far to find him. Unfortunately, the thug was looming not even a foot away from her, with a dead look in his eyes and a scowl on his face. Fury giving way to fear once again, the woman gasped and hesitated. The thug spoke in a voice that was very clearly not his own. For one, its tenor was a pitch lower. For another, it sounded like it was coming from within the bowels of a tin can.
"I am sorry, miss. I've done a terrible thing. Please, take your purse back."

The thug shakily reached forward, purse in hand, and presented it to the woman. Fear giving way to fury again again, the woman scowled and punched the thug in the face with a mighty *THWACK!* The thug didn't even flinch!

"Please accept my apologies. Goodbye."
At that, the thug sprinted away, kicking up a small cloud of dust. Normally this wouldn't be disconcerting, considering the speed at which he was running. The only suspicious thing was the fact that they were on the sidewalk. The woman stood flabbergasted as the low-hanging cloud of dust seemed to follow the thug's exodus.

With a shrug, the woman looped her arm through her purse's string and went on her way, flustered but largely unharmed.

That's one mugging gone right! Homefront thought to himself as he forced his thuggish host down 13th Street. I should get this boy a good ways away before I cut him loose. Wouldn't want him causing any more trouble for that lady!

Five blocks away, at the picturesque coastside, Homefront decided to relinquish control. The thug scratched his head in bewilderment as consciousness came rushing back to him. He couldn't remember much, only how he'd been robbing some lady and... somehow ended up here. One thing stuck out in his mind, a statement: Robbing people for their money isn't a good way to make money. Go to a trade school or something and learn something marketable. With nothing else to do and a strange feeling that he'd just made a lucky break, the thug decided to call it a day.

What exactly happened in the last few moments were hard to identify. The weight of the ship suddenly left and in a daze Angel could only briefly make out who it may have been that saved them. But there was no time to think about it. Already she could barely keep aloft. There was no time to make for land, she would have to hope Sarah could handle swimming to shore. Diving down she began to slow when the energy gave out. The image of an angel faded away with the light and left behind a normal girl. Still twenty feet from the waters surface Sarah fell out of control and plunged into the seas.

Even though Angel took the brunt of the ordeal she was still exhausted. Suddenly being dumped into the ocean did not help in the slightest. Disoriented by the rolling waves she barely made it to the surface for some air. Gasping and fighting to stay above water the one thing she could really make out was the huge ship on the island. Slowly she made her way in that direction but the current was against her. Growing weary she had to force herself to stay awake. Others, there had been others on the ship. Drawing on what little strength she had she called out for help. Her voice couldn't keep it up long though. This may very well end up as the nightmare she expected since becoming a hero.

Coast City General Hospital

Timmy sat in the hospital room with his parents, who were finally awake- if barely. Their arms and legs were in casts, and the father was getting a blood transfusion. The nurses had left the TV on for him, and he was watching cartoons when an emergency broadcast went out.

A sweeping crime wave in Coast City following the absence of Green Lantern has come to a head, with a mysterious new supervillain calling himself Terrordactyl going on a rampage through the city's residential areas and attacking children. Police artists have constructed the following likeness from eyewitness accounts. If you see Terrordactyl, alert the police immedia-

There was a crash as the glass from the room's window broke through, a brick sailing towards the TV and shattering the screen.

"THERE'S A P AND MY BEAK IS NOWHERE NEAR THAT STUPID!"

Pterrordactyl pushed through the broken window, a paperboy's sack full of bricks at his hip. He tossed a brick up and down, staring at Timmy before looking at his father.

"Hey Timmy. How's... things?"

Basoth was confused when all of a sudden his ally disappeared in a flash of light. He was in no condition to fight themm all on his own and so he ran, he understood how cowardly it was, but he couldn't fight them all on his own. Basoth's next goal was to find an exit to the hell hole of the ship, as it lurched about he became even more lost in the labyrinth that was the alien ship. financial the ship stopped lurching he felt that he was on solid ground again. he had will power again.he ran as fast as he could to the sound of a woman's voice. he reached the air lock and looked out into the water. A girl was there, half swimming, half drowning. Basoth knew he had to do something, but he couldn't go near the water. He jumped out of the ship and turned into his Rc Helicopter and flew after her.

"Do not be alarmed. Human, help will arrive as soon as possible." He flew out to the nearest patrolling news helicopter and changed back into normal form making the helicopter to lurch slightly to the left. "Please humans, there is someone in peril you need to fly you contraption to her." he said pointing at her whereabouts. The pilot looked slightly shocked, but still nodded as the helicopter changed course flying as low to the water as they could. Basoth reached out his hand and said: "Human, Please take my hand."

@philp123

There was a reason when rescuers used helicopters they hovered well above the surface and lowered a basket down. The first was that it was hard to fly that low and remain stable, putting everyone at risk. The other was the props generated so much force that it pushed people away or under. Such was the case here as Sarah slipped out of view. Several feet away she came back up again. Only now she was floating on her back and didn't appear to be conscious any longer.

"Grables!" Basoth exclaimed as he human's body rose to the surface, he didn't have time to check the vitals he needed a quick solution. "Thank you for your help humans. You will no longer be of assistance." He jumped out and formed back into the small RC helicopter. in proximity was a small boat Power boat. landing on it he said: "Human I am sorry to make nuisance of my self, i am new here, I need you to save someone. They are stranded in the water." The person turned around somewhat shocked by what he'd just seen but just nodded along. He turned around with shock and headed in the direction of the unconscious Human. the boat slowed down making sure not to make any ripples, Both Basoth and the human helped lift her out the water.putting her in the back of the boat. the driver of the vessel looked at him "what next?" asked the driver "I don't know,How do you humans respire?" The driver looked dumbfounded "just drive to the land, there should be Medical engineers there, yes?" The human nodded and left towards the land where the others were he picked up the unconscious human and jumped on the land, "Humans, Please, this one needs medical attention"

As Horus flew towards Press, a blue blur shot past it. Horus paid it no mind; it was irrelevant compared to its main goal.

Meanwhile, Press was still on the ground, waiting for the last few seconds of repair time on his wings to run out, when a little icon flashed on his visor, signaling the arrival of his trusty automaton falcon Horus. Press raised his forearm, and Horus used it as its perch, landing on his arm before climbing up to Press' shoulder.

"What do you have for me, Horus?" Press asked. Horus responded by downloading the video and other information it had obtained while on the mothership. The alien leader was clearly marked, and Press knew that such a being would not be defeated easily. The others that had been fighting on the ship were doing what they could, but it wasn't much.

Then the odd blue "hero" caught his attention. Pausing the video playing on his visor, he saw this blue and red blur shoot across the sky, saying the ship from a terrible crash and preventing a massive loss of lives. Was that... Superman? He was too fast to get a proper look at, but...

Where had he been this entire time? Especially with all these aliens around? And what was going on?

Setting aside the questions for later, Press constructed his wings. They weren't at optimal performance, but they would get the job done. "Save the civilians, everyone!" Press said to the others.

Shooting off towards the mothership, he used the information of the ship's layout to determine where the prison cells in the ship were. Press knew there were civilians who had not been very fortunate, and someone had to free them.

As you made your way through the ship's hallways, you could see they were dimly lit, the only lighting were the emergency lights which flashed every few seconds. Perhaps if you could restore power everything would brighten, and perhaps you can make better use of the alien ship. The prison cells were more like pods, built to merely keep it's inhabitants asleep, and unknowing of the outside world. There were a few alien consoles still online, and fortunately for you they were in English. The console screens listed the chemical composition of the human body, as well as organ placements, and a few more average statistics.

Bolt was drinking in a bar somewhere in the city that had not been touched by the aliens and he wondered how he up his game as a mercenary. His downing his fifth mug of vodka when an idea came into his mind and he liked what it was.

"Ah ha! a team of mercenaries is what I need, metahumans who are willing to go on dangerous and destructive missions for money and glory" he said to himself as he finished his last bit of liquor and then set out to gather other bad guys for his team.

Residential Alleyway, Coast City

The alleyway was home to activity once more. A young girl was cradling her injured kitten in her arms. The cat meowed again in agony, as the girl continued to cry, as her tears stained her cheeks. The hind-legs of the cat were nothing but bones bare of flesh. Out of the back of the kitten was large gaping wound from which one could see the viscera within. The mere fact the cat managed to stay up past the shock was nothing short of a horrible curse.

A woman in her early to mid-thirties knelt down near the girl. She adjusted the brim of her glasses as she gingerly placed her right hand on the younger girl's shoulder. The child continued crying as she glanced at the woman, "M-m-mommy, M-mit-" She snorted out a large glob of mucus and wiped it against the sleeve of her blouse. "M-mittens."

The woman tried to hold back tears of her own. Her daughter, was brought into such sadness. "Honey." She spun the daughter around to face her as she glanced into her quivering eyes. "Mittens, will go to a better place. But nature has to take it's cou-" She was interrupted as the daughter placed the kitten down and began crying into her mother's chest.

-------

The creature had made its escape, before being spotted by them. The slime was fortunate that creatures were distracted by a partially eaten meal. Perhaps the bipedal creatures were busy feasting upon the meal that the ooze had taken a bite out of. Obviously they knew the creature was a tasty one, for why else would they stay in the area when other prey was there?

Slimey was content in its escape method, which was speeding past the alley and taking a path that led right-ward. The area had one of the great bins of food, the dumpster, and was next to the pathway where other predators emerged. Slimey was about to mess with the bin of food when something scary had emerged. Slimey paused in its motions, not wanting to anger the loud predator that was ontop of the black asphalt path.

An ambulance was speeding off with the sirens blaring. The noise was obviously its survival mechanism. Slimey slithered back as the predator paused at a scene that was nearby. Another of those bipedal creatures, this one more withered and pruned had a large gash-wound on its head with blood coming from it. Nearby was a brick which was stained in something. From the unidentified loud predator emerged two men carrying some sort of device which they put the man on. The things returned back into the ambulance with the man intact, before speeding off.

There was still a pool of substance beneath where the man once stood. Slimey focused its attention back on the dumpster. It spotted the dim glow of eyes of a creature Slimey was all too familiar with. Slimey began moving towards the bin.

It was time to feed once more.

Jump City -> Coast City

Skeleton Man exited the clinic, bandaged and ready to dispense further justice. Of course, the lady working said clinic had advised him not to do that, but she underestimated the awesome power of Earth's boniest defender! No mere stab wound could prevent him from seeking out evildoers and defeating them, or his name wasn't Charles Osso, sworn protector of truth, justice, and the skeletal way. To punctuate his internal hamming, the Calcium-rich Champion attempted to strike a pose, only for a sharp pain to course through his body. On second thought, it will slow me down, but that is merely a temporary inconvenience! Soon, I shall recover, and no evil shall escape my Skeleton Eyes!

Osso's train of thought promptly ground to a halt, however, when he noticed the most recent news bulletin. Not the one with Superwhatsit saving the city from the aliens, mind you, but the one about the Pterodactyl Man terrorizing Coast City. "Hmm, Green Lantern's gone, so there's nobody to stop ol' Big Nose from wreaking havoc. Looks like Coast City needs a hero more than Jump City at the moment. To the Skele-car!" Skeleton Man began to run towards his personal vehicle, only to remember that it didn't actually exist yet. Turning on his heel, Osso amended his statement with a shout of "To the public transit station!"

The Bus

Skeleton Man, legendary hero in the making, was presently doing his best to look inconspicuous while taking public transportation. Given that he was still wearing his suit, this wasn't exactly an easy task. Though this was only temporary, as the assortment of folks on the bus eventually grew bored of examining his heroic frame, and directed their attention elsewhere. Save for one, that is. The citizen in question was best described as the spitting image of a stereotypical grubby homeless man, sporting a bushy beard, ratty clothes, and a scent that one couldn't quite place; the usual accoutrements of the common street hobo. But that was beside the point, as he was presently staring intently at Skeleton Man for reasons unknown.

"Is there something wrong, citizen?"

With that, the presumably homeless man suddenly looked up, as if only just acknowledging that Osso was a person rather than a piece of scenery. "Ah, sorry sonny, I was lost in thought. Anyways, from the looks of it, you're one of those 'superhero' types, ain't ya?" After Skeleton Man responded with a nod, the man continued.

"Figured as much, by the outfit. So, who're you supposed to be, Calcium Kid or something?"

"Skeleton Man, actually."

"Right. Anyways, I've had my fair share of experience in that field, so lemme tell ya a few stories...

Several hours of drunken rambling later

"So anyways, Bone Boy, that's the tale of how I escaped the moon-leopard corpse pits of Talon V."

At this point, Skeleton Man was so astounded by the absurdity of the man's words to bother correcting him on his name. Thankfully, before the man had a chance to start another of his nonsensical stories, the bus made its stop in Coast City. Breathing a sigh of relief, Earth's boniest defender rose from his seat. "Your adventures were certainly exciting sir, but I'm afraid our time together has come to an end. Skeleton Man, away!" With that, the Calcium-rich Champion proceeded to swiftly exit the bus, and set foot on the streets of Coast City. That peculiar experience now behind him, Skeleton Man could now go about protecting the good people of the city. His first priority would be Terrordactyl, the reptilian fiend that had been attacking children. Such an act was unforgivable in the Skeleton Eyes of Skeleton Man, and thus would be punished.

But first, where might I find Ol' Big Nose?

This is the kind of performance you only get with the legendary Master of Menace, the Wings of Woe, the Aerial Asshole! Let's see how our favorite contestant is doing today!"

Coast City General Hospital

Timmy was pinned under a pile of bricks, the room's door barred and preventing doctors from coming in. Pterrordactyl held the boy's parents by the throat.

"You see, Timmy, there's this test explorers do to measure gravity on a planet. Each planet has a gravitational constant, which determines the acceleration of falling objects... barring wind resistance. So you drop objects from a great, pre-measured height and see how long it takes them to hit the ground..."

Pterrordactyl began walking to the window he'd broken, looking between the boy's parents. He turned to Timmy, who was shaking like a leaf and trying to move the bricks off his arms.

"...But I guess that can wait, Timmy. You don't look very excited to learn about gravity. Maybe I can help. I know JUST what makes everything exciting!"

The alien made his way over to the cabinet where medical supplies were stored and grabbed a syringe, filling it with adrenaline. Timmy's father came up behind the alien, wincing in pain as he walked on his cast... only to be backhanded by Pterrordactyl's arm and have a bag of bricks poured out onto him as well.

"Honestly, getting in the way of a child's education! Nothing more despicable. Now then! Time for shots. I understand they make you all big and strong and shit."

With that, Pterrordactyl jammed the syringe into Timmy's veins. He grabbed the boy in his feet and flew out one of the unbroken windows to get the kid's blood pumping.

"NOW, TIME TO GET EXCITED ABOUT LEARNING!"

Cartog finished his twelfth bottle and stood up unsteadily, "Wellll I'm gonna turn in fer tha nigh'. G'bye hunams, I'll be sterminatin' ya tomorra!"

He stumbled unsteadily towards the door an drew his map and stylus, giving it a couple of swift, sloppy strokes. A crude, flower-like rock formation erupted from the floor before Cartog. He stepped onto it unsteadily, the petals closing inwards to form a cocoon-like shape around Cartog, plunging down through the earth and into parts unknown and leaving nothing behind but splintered floorboards, smooth earth, and a giant, nigh-impenetrable dome of rock encasing the building.

"Fuckin' aliens.", the bartender mumbled as he dialed emergency services, "I tell ya, that Crux guy's got the right idea."

Ironclad

After flying a little while Ironclad finally reached his target, Jump City, and meet up with the National Guard to gather information on what he can help do. Flying down to a Mobile Command Center Ironclad alighted to the ground and was greeted by one of the many soldiers. “Ironclad, thank God you are here.” Ironclad looked to the soldier as he spoke. “We are in some deep trouble here the CO will want to fill you in.” the soldier motioned for Ironclad to follow. “I apologize but I am not here to meet with your CO” Ironclad responded holding up his hand to stop the soldier. “I only wanted to establish a link with your comms for quick response.” Ironclad reached out his hand. “I will require your radio for a moment.” The soldier stood for a second just looking at Ironclad with a look of bewilderment before hesitantly handing over his radio. Ironclad held onto it for only a moment then gave it back. “Thank you.” Ironclad turned and flew off once more as he tapped into the National Guard’s comms.

By this time the ship had already been guided down, but the news stations that Ironclad was listening to were all unclear as to what really happened. Some said Super Man had brought it down others said a young girl and her boyfriend were responsible for the evaded disaster. What really happened was not important at the moment as Ironclad making his way to a scene where a collapsed shop has left several people trapped in the rubble. Speeding over the downtown Ironclad looked to the landed ship before landing at the shop front.

Upon landing at the scene there were a few police, National Guard and a crowd of civilians behind the police tape perimeter. A few people pointed up as Ironclad descended, and the police and NG turned to look. The officers questions each other and went to the NG who explain, as well as they could, who Ironclad was and why he was there. Walking to one of the NG and asked “Do you know how many are trapped inside?”
“There are four people, two women and two children.” The soldier responded. “Everyone stand back.” At this the police and NG personnel stood by waiting for their next instruction. Ironclad on the other hand made his way to the pile of rubble and could hear the cries of the people inside. At once Ironclad began moving the large pieces of concrete that would weigh up to 500 pounds, until an opening was made. It was only big enough to reach a hand through, but that was all the survivors needed for fresh air. Now their cries could be heard clearer as hands began clawing at the opening. “Please, stand back.” Ironclad insisted. The hand retreated, but the cries for help continued. Ironclad reached his hand in and grabbed hold of the rubble from the inside then pulled hard. At first nothing happened then the concrete began to shift and pieces began falling away until Ironclad ripped a large opening. He moved quickly to brace the above rubble as it began to cave and yelled. “Get out quick!” without further motivation the four people crawled out quickly and began to run as soon as they could stand. Once they were out Ironclad dropped the rubble and it piled on top of him. The surrounding crowd gasped and fell silent as they watched the shifting concrete fall on top of the robot, but just seconds later the rubble exploded as Ironclad took off back into the sky making his way to another location.

Underneath the dumpster was a rodent that was scavenging for its own food. The ooze slithered under the dumpster, as the larger than usual rodent hissed at it. Slimey was undeterred in its movement. Blrblbubblrubblub knew that it was the superior predator. This creature, this brown rat would not scavenge the various pieces of trash that was underneath the dumpster. No, this trove of succulent vittles belonged to Slimey.

The rat was prepared on defending this territory it eked out for itself. As such the creature charged at Slimey. Perhaps this rat had something unusual, something that was not explained by fight vs flight. A creature striking against one that was sure to win, this desperation was it boldness?

And so the rat bravely charged to swipe at Slimey. It was during that moment the slime wrapped around the creature and engulfed it. Slimey would feed yet again.

Over Watch Team

Tactical Sub

“All stop.” Said the captain of the USS Tactical Submarine Lurker as they reached their position off the coast of Jump City, but more importantly just a few hundred yards away from the Mothership crash site. Looking around at the crew and controls within the command deck the captain grabbed a wired radio phone, pushed one of the many buttons on it and spoke. “Weapons control this is the captain, do you copy? Over.”
“Copy captain, go ahead. Over” The voice of a young man called back.
“We have reached the drop off, load them up and let them go. ”
“aye, aye captain.” The Weapons Control Chief hung up the radio phone and turned to four men dressed in diving suits. They were already unlocking the thick metal hatches to the torpedo tubes and climbing inside. Once they were inside the two tubes some of the sub crew came up and secured the hatches shut giving two pounds on the door and receiving one in return. “ Green to open the doors three and four.” The weapons chief called to the command deck through the radio phone. Looking to the person on the weapons console he nodded, and the man flipped two switches and pressed their corresponding buttons.

In the two tubes were four men by the code names Riggs, the team leader; Dex, the tech specialist; Wolf, who ran recon; last but not least Buster, the demolitions specialist. Each one of them were in full scuba gear, but without the air tanks as this would hinder the nature of their stealth operation. As they waited in the torpedo tubes they slowly filled with water and each of them took a deep breath before swimming out into the dark of the ocean. Once out of the tubes Dex turned on his flashlight and pointed it at Riggs, who in turn made a series of gestures, telling the team the landing plan, before moving out. As they swan away Dex tossed, in a manner of speaking, the flashlight back into the torpedo tube then followed the others as they swam towards the island.

It was a full five minutes of submerged swimming before the team surfaced to look at their target. The dark of night made it very hard to see what was going on, but before long Riggs motioned to a stealth tube boat for them all to move in. The boat was drifting with no motor, no seat, juts a water proof duffel bag containing what they would need for their mission. Crawling into the boat Over Watch began gearing up with some of Paradigm’s Electro Pulse rifles, Rail Guns and other gadgets. Once equipped with their weapons they got out of the boat once more and simply drifted alongside it as it made its way with the current to the crash site.
