The set up for this RP is simple as can be. The story takes after the show only a year after the group has found and saved Supergirl (Instead of Superboy) and started up as a small group. No other members have joined since and they've made their HQ out of a large chunk of the Hall of Justice in Washington DC. On the anniversary of starting this small group, Nightwing, Kid Flash, Aqualad, and Supergirl get the word to come to the main headquarters for an important meeting. What they thought was a promotion was instead a new base and a slew of new recruits. Shenanigans ensue as the team have their new teammates and a brewing trouble on the horizon.

In terms of the RP itself only canon young DC heroes are allowed. Though edits to their character are allowed, personality, back story, even gender. The character will not be accepted if the very core of what makes the character who they are is changed. The character will be coming in from either being a superhero on their own or a sidekick and is a new recruit for Young Justice through either their mentor or a grown hero on the Justice League sponsoring them in.

Powers: As he didn't earn the nickname “the fastest kid on the Earth” because it sounded nice. Kid Flash can run at speed of sound speeds. Second only though to his mentor in terms of how fast he can go. Kid Flash can use his speed in a variety of ways. Like run across water and up buildings. Produce powerful tornadoes from running in a small circle. Most notably, although he hasn't quite gotten the hang of it yet, Kid Flash can vibrate his molecules fast enough to be able to go through solid objects. On top of all this his reaction times are faster, and while he is more durable than a normal person. He can heal injuries much quicker. Though he needs to make sure any dislocated or broken bones are put back into place first, otherwise they don't quite heal right.

Skills: Despite Wally's seemingly dim witted nature. Its something that hides his surprisingly solid intelligence into science and chemistry. Its something Wally has always shown both an interest and keen knack for in school. Though truthfully outside of that, Wally is a good cook and can tell you anything about video games or dumb pop culture trivia.

Brief Bio: Wally West grew up a class clown who almost had no direction in his life. He didn't know or care what he wanted to be when he grew up. It was video games, TV, and figuring out new, fun, and inventive ways to drive the teachers he didn't like crazy. His mom blamed the fact that she broke up with Wally's father as his directionless life. The two loved one another but his life in the police department in downtown Central City made things too difficult to keep the marriage together.

When Wally was 12 he got a shock when he met his real father for the first time, police detective Barry Allen. Both Barry and Wally's mom finally decided they needed one another and Barry needed to be in Wally's life. Leaving the both of them deciding to get remarried. Wally resented it all at first, not wanting any part of the creep who left the family when he was little. That is until Barry decided to take Wally to his police station. Not to scare him straight, but because he began to notice Wally's report cards always had straight Cs in all the classes except science. With that in mind he showed Wally the police station's CSI lab. It caught Wally's fancy immediately, however what he ended up having happen next really blew his mind. His father had gone out on a lunch break and left Wally at the station when suddenly The Flash showed up to put a criminal he had caught away. Wally got an autograph and suddenly found himself Flash's new number one fan.

Though while most kids would simply stick with idolizing the superhero. Wally went deeper, studying the superhero how ever he could. Suddenly though he began piecing the puzzle together and came to the shock when he found Barry's ring which released his costume. His new dad, was The Flash.

Quickly Wally's research into the superhero turned father figure began to show what had happened to Barry to get his powers of super speed. Wally, not thinking about any real consequences, set everything up in his room to recreate the set up. It all worked, and Wally suddenly found himself seeing the very dimension known as the 'speed force' for himself. Where everything is peaceful and serene, but moving in a graceful slow motion. Barry though quickly found out, and was not impressed. It took Wally almost a week of non-stop nagging and risk taking to convince his dad to let him become a sidekick. Which brought forth to the world Kid Flash.

Now on his own with his friends both old and new in Young Justice. Wally West is still the lovable goofball he always was, just now with a chip on his shoulder the size of a small European country.

Notes: A tournament level player in 'Combat Club', the popular fighting game. Though Nightwing suspects Wally uses his powers to cheat. Wally denies it, but totally is.

Powers: While Nightwing does not really have any superpowers in the traditional sense. His physical and mental game are razor sharp thanks to years of training from his adopted father Bruce Wayne, and his time in the circus. His fighting style, a mixture of numerous martial arts. Is a combination of using speed and airborne movement with more traditional punches, kicks, and take downs. Nightwing does keep a variety of tools with him. From wingshots, similar to Batman's baterangs, to a pair of escrima sticks which not only can be quickly made into a single bo staff, but have taser points at their upper tips. The sticks also have a security measure that if a hand that isn't wearing Nightwing's gloves grabs hold of them to send out an electric shock enough to knock someone out. Only Nightwing himself has the means and knowledge to turn that off if he wants too.

Skills: On top of his combat skills Nightwing keeps a portable computer system in his left glove's wrist which helps him hack into systems.

Brief Bio: Dick Grayson was born and raised in the bright lights of Caper Brothers International Circus. His family had held court as premier circus performers for generations. From the trapeze, to the tight rope, to more recent things like the motorcycle ball of death. Dick Grayson took after his family as he began training from an early age. A childhood learning from the RV the family used to get from location to location, playing with other kids of circus performers and occasionally the animals of the show. Finally when he got his first chance to perform it gave young Dick Grayson his first taste of adrenaline. A feeling from that night on he had to feel however he could.

When Dick turned 9 however, things took a turn for the absolute worst. The circus was in Gotham City for a special charity show. Many of the city's luminous and wealthy were in attendance, including one Bruce Wayne. During the performance, the notorious criminal known only as The Joker ended up hijacking the show. Killing the ringmaster and holding the entire arena hostage. Harley Quinn, his partner in crime, went to place a bomb in the arena as instructed. She didn't count on Dick Grayson following her, and knocking her out to get himself enough time to get the bomb into the nearby bay. Where it detonation without harm to anyone. Dick Grayson's joy in succeeding though quickly faded when he returned to the arena, and watched his family be tagged and taken to the hospital's morgue.

Dick Grayson soon found himself in a nearby foster home. Though it wasn't for long as he was adopted. A man none other than Bruce Wayne. It didn't take long for the crafty Dick Grayson to not only find out Bruce Wayne's double life as Batman, but be able to sweet talk his way into training to become Robin. Batman's famed sidekick. Years later when Robin, alongside Kid Flash and Aqualad, saved Supergirl and became the team known as Young Justice. Robin decided the time had come to make a name for himself and not just be Batman's sidekick. He dropped the red and black of his old Robin costume and donned the black and blue as Nightwing. Getting Batman's blessing for it first.

Notes: Dick owns a specially made supercross style bike he uses as Nightwing. The bike is a 600 custom made engine with a specially made kevlar body and high grade metal and carbon fiber frame. The bike has devices in it to hide it from different kinds of radar, and self re-inflating tires.

Atlantean physiology- Kaldur'ahm's body is adapted to withstand the crushing pressures and freezing temperatures of the oceanic depths. As such, he boasts increased strength and durability far in excess of the average human being. He also sports gill slits on his neck that allow him to breathe underwater as well as webbed hands and feet that make him a superb swimmer.

Electricity generation- The eel-like tattoos running down his arms allow him to generate a powerful electric current from his palms.

Water constructs- Kaldur'ahm possesses a unique piece of Atlantean technology know as 'Water Bearers'. These twin handheld devices enable him to create and control constructs made of water, most often in the form of shields or various weapons. The Water Bearers are powered by electricity from his tattoos.

Skills: Kaldur'ahm is an expert hand-to-hand combatant, having been extensively trained by Aquaman. He also speaks fluent Atlantean in addition to English.

Brief Bio: Born in the Atlantean city of Shayeris, Kaldur'ahm was raised by his loving parents: native Atlantean Sha'lain'a and Calvin Durham, an enhanced human from the surface world. Entering mandatory military service at age 12, he later transferred to the Conservatory of Sorcery in Poseidonis to study at the age of 14. It was there that he received his tattoos and learned to manipulate water constructs under the tutelage of Queen Mera.

While returning home to visit his parents, Kaldur'ahm's life would be forever changed during an attack by the villain Black Manta. His henchmen broke into the family's home and held Kaldur's parents hostage, claiming that they knew the location of something that belonged to their boss. It wasn't until they forced Calvin to reveal that he had once worked for Manta himself and that he was not Kaldur'ahm's father that the teenager realized that in fact it was him that Manta was looking for. Sha'lain'a confessed that Black Manta was Kaldur's true father and that they had kept it secret from him for his own protection.

Luckily for all of them, Aquaman soon arrived and saved them from Manta's henchman. He decided it would be best if Kaldur was relocated to the surface world, fearing no place in Atlantis would be safe for him. He promised Sha'lain'a and Calvin that he would personally see to Kaldur's well-being and safety as well as prepare him for the day he would eventually have to face his father. While occupied with his responsibilities as a member of the Justice League, Aquaman left Kaldur'ahm in the care of Arthur Curry, the lighthouse keeper who had discovered him as a baby and his own adoptive father.

For the next two years, Kaldur'ahm was regularly visited and trained by Aquaman, who eventually agreed to make him his partner. Kaldur'ahm was a quick leaner, adapting well to life on the surface and his duties as a hero. His interactions with surface dwellers were limited due to the fact of aquatic adaptations, but over time he became like practically any other teenager. Kaldur later joined a team of fellow sidekicks apprenticed to other members of the Justice League who grew to be his closest friends and companions. Together they now make up a considerable force in their own right primed to take on a greater role alongside the League.

Notes: This version of Aqualad is slightly better acclimated to surface life and is more easy-going and less intense. Imagine his personality as more like Superboy from the series, who was speed-grown in a lab but imprinted with all the information he needed to know about the world.

Brief Bio: Kara's father was Zor-El, younger brother to Jor-El and also one of Krypton's leading scientists. Knowing that their children were growing up during the last days of Krypton's existence, her father and uncle were both consumed with the monumental task of finding a way to save their doomed planet. They differed, however, in their beliefs as to how it should be accomplished. Zor-El was in favor of a mass evacuation while Jor-El sought to actually save Krypton. All their efforts would be in vain however, as Krypton began to collapse before either of them had developed a workable solution. Zor-El was still able to evacuate his teenage daughter ahead of the cataclysm, sending her away from their home in Argo City in a rocket which would keep her in stasis until she arrived at a safe location. Jor-El was able to do the same for his infant son Kal-El.

Kara's rocket drifted through space for some time due to its navigation system being damaged during the destruction of Krypton. It had been programmed to track the signal emitted by Kal-El's rocket, however, and eventually it brought her to Earth. It made a crash landing in the middle of Metropolis, its surface covered with fragments of her homeworld that had converted into kryptonite. This drew the attention of LexCorp as well as the Justice League. An extraction team of mercenaries sent by Lex Luthor clashed with the teenage sidekicks of several Justice League members over the fate of the rocket and its contents. Luckily for Kara, the junior Justice Leaguers succeeded in destroying most of the kryptonite before it could fatally poison her and freed her from stasis. She awoke disoriented and confused, but was able to assist the team with fighting off the LexCorp mercenaries.

Kara was subsequently reunited with her cousin Kal-El who to her surprise had grown to adulthood as a result of his rocket arriving on Earth several years earlier. Leaning on each other as the last known survivors of Krypton, she became Superman's sidekick and joined forces with the team of teenage heroes that had saved her. Together they began to work in close contact with the Justice League and eventually earned a reputation as a force in their own right, resolving many threats the League was either unable to tackle or could not do so publicly.

Aerokinesis: Maxine possesses the power of wind manipulation. She is able to mentally summon cyclones and whirlwinds, project powerful bursts of air, and glide through the air on wind currents.
Deflection: She is able to deflect approaching objects with ease.
Cyclone Creation: She can create massive tornadoes, huge cyclones that react to the environment by themselves or bend to her will. Likewise she can create smaller twisters to blow down doors or small enough to gently blow loose clothing and hair.
Air Blasts: She can force wind outwards in an air blast cone, direct blows and in larger areas around herself.
Flight: She can either glide on wind currents or create a direct cyclonic wind beneath her to guide her flight.
Sound Wave Manipulation: Newer power, but she has the ability to control and move sound waves, as well as silence them or make them louder.

Skills:
She is very intelligent and is great with artsy type stuff. She knows a lot more than people thinks she does and she is also very fit. She has the ability to light up most everyone’s day, but she tends to be kind of a know it all. Because of the nanobots, she has the ability to hack into computers with ease and her knowledge of science and technology is immensely more than most of those.

Brief Bio:
Maxine Hunkel is incredibly intelligent. With an SAT score of 1300 she's a 4.0 student of Harvard University. This intelligence alongside her naturally bubbly nature has made her somewhat of an outcast due to her unintentional seemingly oblivious know-it-all nature. Except she's not completely oblivious. At the age of six, she was kidnapped by T.O. Morrow and infected by nanobots. These nanobots are the apparent source of her powers, but luckily the kidnapping didn´t cause her psychological damage or negative effects, as Red Tornado says.

Things began to change when she started developing her powers. A sneeze demolished her grandmother, Abigail "Ma" Hunkel's, home, and a few days after that she woke up on top of a roaring tornado. Her grandmother trained her to control her powers and she has only recently started to be able to control the new power of her sound wave abilities. Those are not fully under control. She honors her grandmother and her grandmother's sidekicks, the Cyclone Twins, by calling herself "Cyclone".

Notes:
She is beginning to show the first signs of depression because of her isolation from most people because of her know-it-all nature.

You freaked me out with the beginning of that post. xD Alright, cool. I got one for Cyclone up. I watched a couple episodes and I thought it was amazing, but I could never find it again for some reason.
