Hana felt unwell and held herself on her feet by keeping hold on a lantern pole and had taken her shoes off already. Her Reiatsu was suddenly going pretty high and Zant would be able to feel that there was something wrong with her. ''Help..'' she whispered and did a few more steps, she felt like she was drunk yet she only had two glasses of coke. She didn't like to drink any alcohol if there was not somebody around that she could trust. She was now standing against the next pole and her reiatsu caused to let a few strong hollows appear in the city. She heard her phone beeping and got out her phone, but before she could do anything to get help, she got picked up by a hollow.

Nero was enjoying his drink. He wondered how Hana was doing at the moment and if she was enjoying her night out. What did one do when one went out anyway? Did they just drink? Because that sounded stupid and dull. He couldn't really get drunk due to his insane endurance and costitution.

Right when Hana thought she would lose her life, a flash from black and orange jumped up and sliced of the arm of the Hollow. Hana fell to the ground but got catched by the same. She looked up. ''Ichigo-kun!'' she said and smiled some. ''Thank you for getting me out of there'' she said. ''You are welcome Kaori-san'' the orange haired boy said and putted her on the ground. ''Karoi-sama, are you alright?'' Rukia asked. ''Yes.. I don't know what happened but something is pretty wrong with my reiatsu.. Could you help me lose my gigai'' Hana asked and Rukia nodded, putting on her glove and slapping Hana on her cheek.

''Ow..'' Hana said as she lost her Gigai and looked at Rukia. ''I bet you really wanted to do that'' she said. ''Yeah'' Rukia simply said and then looked around. ''Get a safe place Rukia, I don't think you can fight'' Hana said. ''True..'' Rukia whispered and then ran off. Hana looked at Ichigo. ''Five'' Ichigo said. ''Well, at least it aren't twenty..'' Hana said. ''Let's do this'' Hana said and jumped up, yet she felt dizzy before even getting close to the hollow. ''You must rest a little more Kaori-san'' Ichigo said as he jumped up and sliced of the hollows leg.

Nero cursed after he spread out his senses and felt the problem with Hana. Not caring about the fact he sensed Ichigo and a very weak energy as he activated his watch and disappeared in a burst of Sonido. He appeared next to the Hollow Ichigo had just cut the legs out from under and with a one handed swing, cut the Hollow in half.

"Didn't something very similar to this happen not long after first meeting you?" Nero asked as he looked at Ichigo.

The kid had a huge Zanpakto which made Nero raise an eye at. The kid was powerful but had no control over his Reiatsu.

"Thanks for helping Hana Ichigo." He said before looking over and seeing Rukia "Hey chibi, get out of here. Things might get bad for you."

''Zant-kun, no jokes...'' Hana said and looked a little annoyed at him. ''Something poisoned me'' she said and then walked up to Rukia and took her with her away from the hollows. ''Your body'' Rukia said and Hana sighed, she walked back and took the body on her back. ''Let's go Kuchiki-san'' she said and they ran off.

Ichigo looked at Zant. ''So you are a shinigami too Zant-san ?'' he asked and then jumped up into the sky and landed on a building to see where the other four where. ''I didn't expect you to be one, I didn't feel anything... Hana showed me on purpose the first time she came here by giving me a hand and letting go of her reiatsu, normally she can hide it pretty well..'' he said as he slides hand of from the next Hollow and then cut it horizontal in half.

Nero smirked.

"I'm not a Shinigami." He said calmly before he slashed at a Hollow attacking him from behind "I have powers similar to a Shinigami's but I'm not one."

He turned to face the Hollow he just struck and ducked under its wild swing before stabbing is sword up into its extended arm. The Hollow roared as it tried to grab him with its other hand oly for him to disappear in a Sonido and appear above it. He slashed downwards as he fell, cutting the Hollows head in half as he did.

"Rukia didn't even know about me... and Hana only knows because I had to save her from being eaten a day or so ago." He told the Substitue "You can try asking Rukia about me but th ebest you'll get is what Hana tells her... if Hana tells her anything that is."

He then blocked a Hollows fist with one hand and easily threw it back before slicing its face in half horizontally. He then turned to watch Ichigo fight for a bit, eager to see what the kid was capable of.

Ichigo defeated the last hollow and looked at Nero. ''Ah.. Okay'' he said and looked around. ''The hollows are gone'' he then said. Hana and Rukia came back and looked at them, Hana's reiatsu was now pretty stabalized but still she was in a bad condition. ''Actually, Zant-kun and I met before that but I found out that he could see hollows ánd defeat them after he saved me'' Hana said and leaned against a lantern pole and looked at the two guys. ''I am in a need to get to Urahara and fast, before there are more hollows coming because of me'' she said and looked at Zant. ''Yet I don't think you wanna help'' she said smiled at Zant, then she looked at Ichigo and Rukia and smiled some.

''Sorry for the trouble, but thank you for coming so fast'' she said. Rukia nodded and Ichigo just looked at her. ''I still can't believe you are a shinigami..'' he said. ''Well, I am one, and you know it'' Hana said and then started to walk away. ''see you next week in class.. And do your homework!'' she said and headed to the shop of Urahara.

Nero wasn't sure how to react to her dismisal of his help. Why wouldn't he want to help her? She hadn't done anything to make him angry at her. Did she think otherwise? Or was it something else that bothered her? He turned to look at Rukia and Ichigo for a moment before smiling.

"You need any help carrot top just flair your reiatsu and I'll show up." He told the substitute before dashing off after Hana as Ichigo shouted at his back..

He soon caught up o the woman and gave her a questioning look as he examined her. She wasn't looking all that great but much better then she did when he first showed up.

"Why would you think I wouldn't want to help you?" He asked seriously "You haven't done anything to make me not want to help you. Your my friend and I help my friend. I even told that Ichigo boy to flair his reiatsu if he ever needed help."

''Sorry Zant-kun.. I am not feeling well and mostly I say stuff that I don't mean.. I know we are friend's, I would help you too.. Someone drugged me, somehow... or that's what I think... Normally the highest reiatsu in this town comes from Ichigo... this time it was mine.. I am happy it where only five hollows that I attracted'' she said and looked at him. She laid her hand on his shoulder, her gigai felt warm, almost hot. ''Can you help me get to Urahara?'' she asked with a little smile.

Without a thought Nero scooped Hana up in a princess carry and began heading towards Urahara's. As much as he would like to go hunt down the one who did this he knew that getting Hana medical attention was more important. When he heard Hana mention Ichigo having the highest reiatsu in town normally he gave a half smirk of amusement.

"He has a lot and it seems to still be growing at a high rate... its an impressive amount." He told her "I however have more. I just have near perfect control thanks to years of hiding it."

That would probably throw Hana for a loop. He knew he was quite stronger then her if he released his Resureccion and could easily defeat Ichigo without it... for now. Once the kid learned about and found his shikai Nero had no doubt that it would be a difficult fight without releasing his Resureccion as well.

Hana let out a small scream from surprise and then a soft giggle, she laid her arms around his neck and leaned with her head against his chest. ''Ichigo is a dangerous boy if you ask me.. No doubt that if the S.S would find out about him, he would be killed by them'' she said and closed her eyes. ''They don't like stuff that doesn't fit in their picture of perfectness... This world is pretty corrupt if you ask me... but the S.S is so too... A lot shinigami's are just keeping their mouth shut'' she then whispered and looked at him with half open eyes. ''Zant-kun..'' she said before she started to doze off. ''You are a sweetheart'' she muttered and then fell asleep, yet he could feel it was a dangerous sleep since her Reiatsu started to lower way to fast and also got way to low.

Nero would have made a comment stating that if S.S. killed or tried to kill Ichigo then he would, unfortunately, have to pay the place a visit and possibly raze it to the ground. He was also fairly certain he could lure some powerful Meno class hollows to help, several dozen Gillian for sure, a few Adjuchas perhaps. Why would he use Hollows when he killed them so easily? Because Menos class hollows never came to the world of the living to feed on Human souls.

But he never got the chance before her Reiatsu plummeted.

"Hana?" He asked worriedly "Hana!"

When he got no response he vanished in a burst of Sonido and reappeared infront of Urahara's. He kicked down the door surprising the shopkeeper and Tessai who looked at him in surprise.

"SOmethings Wrong with Hana!" He shouted.

Hana was unconscious and her reiatsu was now at a very low level, staying there yet still slowly fading away. Tessai looked at Urahara and then took the girl over from Nero. ''We will do what we can, keep calm'' he said and then walked away with her, followed by the shop owner who looked at Nero with a serious look on his face. ''I don't know what happened, but I do know you will have to wait here'' he said and then closed the door.

Ururu opened a other door and looked at Nero. ''Follow me Zant-san'' she said and looked at him with her pretty big eyes. ''Jinta and I have to make sure you do not follow them'' she said, she took Nero's hand and pulled him away from the door that would lead him to Urahara, Tessai and Hana.

Nero was fairly certain that, if he wanted to follow after Urahara, Ururu and Jinta wouldn't be able to do anything more then stall him for a moment or so. However he understood that Urahara and Tessai would needsome privacy so that they could determine what was wrong with Hana. In the meantime he wondered what he should do while he waited for news.

He could go and try and find out what happened to her at the bar she had gone to but he didn't know where she went. He could go see if there were any Hollows wandering about but he didn't sense any. Finally after a few minutes of thinking he decided to just got to his room and continue drinking.

After hours Urahara opened the door of Nero's room and looked at him. ''I did think you wanted to know she is stable, she almost died but we did save her'' he said, he wasn't planning on telling him what he had to do to save her but he simply had too. She had survived the hollow-fication because everybody knew the Kaori family had always given their children a injection with gens of strong hollows.

Hana sat up in a different room and looked at Tessai who was watching her closely. ''I don't like this.. if the S.S hears about this they will send others for my mission and that could be very dangerous...'' she said. ''I know Hana-chan'' he said and then got up. ''Stay put'' he said and looked at her. ''woof'' she said and sighed, he left to get some food for her.

Nero had never been hurt bad enough to get close to death. He wasn't sure if he was allowed to go and see Hana but, from what he saw on T.V. visitors to people who were put in a hospital and nearly died weren't really allowed.

"Am I allowed to see her?" He asked calmly.

He would rather she rest to regain her strength but wanted to see for himself that she was okay. He wouldn't be upset if Urahara told him he couldn't see her... well he wouldn't be very upset anyway.

''Yes you are allowed yes, a t.v. serie isn't the same as real life... She even asked for you'' Urahara said and then left to the shop again. Tessai walked by with some food for Hana and looked at Nero. ''Nero-san, can you bring this to Hana? She might be weak and maybe even could use some help with eating right now and I have a lot other things to do and so has Urahara-sama'' he said and offered Nero the food, it was some rice and a little bowl with fruit.

That irritating shopkeeper/mad scientist must be mildly psychic to have guessed his thoughts. However he still got to his feet and made his way to her room. Whenhe saw her he thought she looked terrible... which made sense to him as she had nearly died.

"Hey Hana." He said nervously.

He wasn't sure what he should say to her. This wasn't a situation he had any experience with. So he defaulted to his usual response... payback.

"Do you have any idea who did this to you?" He asked calmly with a hint of intended malice.

''Hey Zant..'' Hana said and smiled a little even though she didn't feel happy at all, she rested her head against the wall and looked at the ceiling. ''I see that Tessai gave you the rice and fruit he was going to get me.. As long he didn't give you orders to feed me, I am happy'' she said and looked at him. She heard the intention in his voice and rolled her eyes. ''If I knew that, I would have told Urahara since he knows best how to handle stuff like this, you would probably rush to the person and fight him or her'' she said and looked at him but she kept her head against the wall.

Her stomach made a weird noise. ''Could you give me the bowl with fruit?'' she asked and she reached out her hand but she was weak, too weak to keep the bowl in her hand and she knew it but she didn't want to admit it, not at first but then she sighed and laid her arm down. With a sigh she said '' Could you place the bowl on my lap, I can't hold anything'' She continued with looking at the ceiling and said: ''Some kind of poison was used to drug me but what or how it got to me I really don't know.. I used my gigai the whole time and mostly if something hangs in the air, the real you is protected by the gigai you wear.. This must be from someone that knows how to poison souls'' she said and sighed again.

He followed her instructions and placed the plate of food in her lap before looking at her in confusion.

"Fight them?" He asked with a raised eye "The only way I'd fight them is if they caught me before I stabbed them in the back. Scum that thinks using poison is a viable way to eliminate an enemy is a coward that isn't worth fighting."

He was fairly certain, about 80 to 95 percent anyway, that if any poison entered him he would only need to release his Resurrecion to purge it with his powers. It would need to be made of Reishi to affect a spiritual body and thusly he would be able to isolate its distinctness within him and remove it.
