Hana walked to the office of her Captain, the always smiling Gin Ichimaru. She knocked and when he called her in she entered and bowed. ''You wanted me to visit you Captain Ichimaru'' she said and bowed again. ''Stand straight Kaori-chan, you know you don't have to bow'' her captain said and she stood straight. ''I know Captain'' she said, only a month ago she had found something about her family and shared it with her captain. She did trust him with everything and only they both knew about the Kaori-clan. ''I have a mission for you'' he said and help a piece of paper up. She took it from his hand and read it. ''The human world?'' she asked and smiled. ''Yes, the Human world... After your last visit when you were still in squad 6'' he said and looked at her, or so she assumed. ''Yeah..'' she said and didn't think about it, she was lucky that Captain Kuchiki only gave her a new squad and not a death penalty. ''I'll find this person sir.. Thank you for trusting me'' she said and bowed again. ''you are most welcome Kaori-chan'' he said and then waved her goodbye.

She left and walked to her simple apartment to pack her stuff, or at least the little stuff she did need. Then she took her note and walked towards the portal and gave the note to the guards. They opened the doors and she started on her journey to the human world.

Nero was bored. He had just returned to Karakura after ten years and had just spent a few hours finding a place to stay and now he was on his way to Urahara's store. He felt he needed to check in witht he eccentric shopkeeper... he didn't want to because the guy irritated the hell out of him. But the man had helped him when he first arrived in the World of the Living and felt he had some responsibility to the man to keep him informed of what was going on.

As he made his way down the road he heard the unmistakable soud of a Hollow roaring nearby and sighed in annoyance. All he ever saw in this world were the weakest of the weak. The Hollows that would never be able to survive the harsh and brutal world that was Hueco Mundo. He did what he could do to protect the living when the Shinigami could not. Since getting out of his gigai was dangerous for the weak souls around him Urahara had devised a way to keep hidden from the mundane Living. A watch on his wrist would make him invisible to the spiritually unaware and he could then draw out his blade from his soul and slay the hollow just like a SHinigami would.

Entering an alley he disappeared in a burst of Sonido after activating the watch, quickly killed the Hollow and walked away.

Hana had just arrived in The World Of The Living when her beeper went off, standing on a building she looked at the location and saw the hollow was only two blocks away. She decided to go and kill that one before she would visit Captain Urahaha's shop and get her Gigai, the one he had given her when she had first came here. Right at the moment she arrived where the hollow was, the signal disappeared. ''strange...'' she said and looked around, she didn't feel the energy of other Shinigami but felt something else, something she never felt before and that made her look down from the building.

She watched the, pretty strange guy, change and frowned some.. Not that she laughed or smiled much but this frown was deeper than the usual look on her face. She watched how he killed the hollow, changed back using some kind of watch and then walked away like nothing had happened. She looked where he was going and saw he took the easy way to the little 'candy' shop from Captain Urahaha. She thought for a second but then jumped to the next roof and when she was a little in front of him, she jumped down. Landing a feet or three away from him. ''Who the heck are you?'' she asked and held her hand on the handle of her zanpactou.

As he was making his way towards Urahara's he was stopped when an attractive woman landed in front of him. She was obviously a Shinigami going by the way she dressed and according to what he could sense from her a decently ranked one at that. Though why would such a Shinigami be in The World of the Living? Hearing her ask a question he cocked his head to the side as he observed her closely. She was cautious judging by the fact she had her hand on her Zanpakuto, was experienced based on how she looked at him, and was confident in her abilities judging by her stance.

"My name... is none of your damn buisness." He told her calmly "And its polite to introduce yoursef before demanding someone elses name."

Hana looked at him a little surprised when he said that. ''My name? Why would you be interested in my name?'' she asked and gave him a little smile. ''Well.. If you do not wanna tell me your name 'none of your damn buisness'... Then at least tell me what the hell you are... I saw you killing that hollow but I do almost know every person in the higher ranks of the Seireitei Squads and I do not know you or ever seen you before... Are you a substitute Shinigami like that Ichigo-boy?'' she asked. She didn't relax or change her standing and kept her eyes on him.

''I got a mission here and I am not pleased to see that it's delayed already because of your appearance'' she said. ''So just tell me who you are and what you are and we can be over with this'' Hana said, she had left her Lieutenant badge home because she didn't like to wear it at all.

Substitute Shinigami? They had those? And who the hell was Ichigo.

"I've never met anyone named Ichigo. I've never been to The Soul Society." He replied rudely "And as far as what I am... I'm human."

A blatant lie but there was nothing she could do to prove him anything else. His gigai and the tranformation hid his Hollow traits perfectly and the only way for anyone other then Tessai, Urahara, and Yoruichi to discover he was an Arrancar was if he left his Gigai... and even then everyone would just assume he's an incredibly strange Hollow and nothing else.

"Now if you'll excuse me Shinigami I need to get to Urahara's." He told her irritably.

Hana looked at him and then gave him a poor smile. ''Great, then we can walk together, since I do have to go there too'' she said and left her defensive mode and did a step aside. ''Go a head, I will just walk next to you.. Just do not try any trick, I am fast'' she said and once he started to walk again she followed him and walked next to him. The first minute she was quiet, just listening to the sounds of the city.

When they almost were at the Urahara shop, she looked up at him for a brief moment. ''Kaori-san.. That's how you can call me'' she said and bound her hair together in a ponytail. ''I do not mind if you don't tell me your name, for my sake I'll just call you 'none of your damn business' but if you like to tell it, then go ahead'' she said and then she looked at Ururu and Jinta cleaning the ground again. Or, Ururu cleaning and Jinta making huge story's.

She walked a little faster and laid her hand on Ururu's head and smiled brightly at the girl. ''Hey kid, is He home?'' she asked with a friendly tone, it almost was like she totally changed. Ururu nodded and Hana smiled a little extra. ''Great, do you wanna tell him I am here? He probably knows already but I do not like to get his slipper at my head like the first time'' she said and Ururu left to get inside and get Urahara

Nero scowled at her as they reached Urahara's and then smirked. That smirk quickly turned into a friendly smile.

"Hello Kaori-chan! Its such a pleasure to meet you! You can call me Zant!" He said happily before waving at Ururu energetically "And I hope we can be good good friends!"

As soon as Ururu went inside he went over to Jinta and glared down at him. He really didn't like this little brat. He was a smart mouth and a bully, always mistreating little Ururu no matter how many times he hit the little red haird brat for doing so.

"Oh its you again." Jinta said dully as he looked at the scowling young man :Are you here to freeload again?"

"No... I never freeload. I always pay Urahara rent for the room he lets me use so you can just shut up about me being a freeloader." Nero told the little punk "Have you been bullying poor little Ururu again? Cause if you have... then I'm gonna have to belt you a few times."

Just the Urahara came out followed by Tessai and Ururu.

"Well hello there!" He said jovially as he looked over the two "Its so nice to see the both of you! Are you out on a date with Hana-chan Zant-kun?"

Hana looked at Zant and shook her head. ''You really wanna have trouble aren't you?'' she asked but then she simply rolled her eyes and ruffled Jinta's hair. ''Jinta, please tell me my room is not filled with boxes and stuff...'' she asked the red haired boy which gave her a dirty look. She smiled and then looked up hearing Urahara coming out of the store.

She looked at him, placing her hand on her hip. ''Date? Really Urahara-sama?'' she asked, she always had great respect for him and would never lose that. ''I am here on a mission.. I must find someone.. And during that time I only wondered if I could stay here or that I have to go to the little apartment I still have here.. And of course I want my Gigai'' she said and smiled.

"Sure sure Hana-chan!" Urahara said jovially "I have your gigai and room for both you and Zant-kun!"

Nero scoffed at the familiar tone Urahara spoke to him with. It annoyed him to no ends and he really didn't like the honorific the hat wearing man used with his name. He knew that this was how Urahara acted but he had seen the man when he was serious... the rare times he was. The first time he had seen Urahar serious was when he first arrived asking for help, the second was when he returned after exploring the world a hundred and fifty years ago to show the shopkeeper/scientist his Resureccion. Since then he had gotten serious only a few times but had never told Nero what had made him that way... thusly Nero hadn't cared.

"I assume you'll take the usual fee for me staying here?" Nero asked.

"But why would you want to stay here when you have a nice mansion to live in?" Urahara asked slyly.

He had forgotten about that. Nero had a large amount of disposable money thanks to the numerous times he had gotten lucky in his investments in the past. Truth be told he had more money then he needed or cared to have... he only stayed in apartments or hotels and generally ate out. His money was pretty much unimportant to him. It had its uses of course and the only true home he owned was here in town, an 'old family home' he had purchased several decades ago that was managed by Urahara while he was elsewhere.

"I forgot I had that." He replied.

"Then why not have Hana-chan stay with you while she's here!" Urahara suggested happily.

But Nero hadn't heard that. Instead he had heard Jinta mutter 'Dumbass' under his breath and was currently beating the rude brat up.

Hana giggled some about how Urahara talked with Nero but didn't really listen. She was chatting with Ururu and helping the girl a little with cleaning when she saw Zant-san beat up Jinta she simple walked over, grabbed his wrist and turned his arm on his back. ''Do not ever raise your hand up to him.. He might be a brat and very annoying but he is a kid and you do not beat kids when I am near'' she said and then kicked him away from Jinta.

''Urahara-sama, I am not going to stay at his mansion.. I do stay here or in my own apartment.. I've found some stuff about my family.. I do know I was sort of a princess but I do not care about big houses..'' she said. ''Ururu-chan, could you get me my Gigai so I can leave?'' she asked and Ururu nodded. ''I did change your clothes after you left.. The ones you wore were bloody from the last attack'' she said. ''Thank you sweety'' Hana said and Ururu ran off to get Hana's Gigai.

Five minutes later Ururu came back and laid her body on the ground. ''Ururu.. that is a pretty short skirt...'' Hana said a little shocked. ''I really like it'' she said. ''Thank you.. I'll keep it then'' she said with a smile and then Hana entered her Gigai and stood up again, pulling her skirt a little lower.

"The brat deserved it." Nero grunted in reply "I've known the brat for years and no matter how many tmes I tell him to be polite he doesn't listen. So now I hit him when he's rude. Plus I'm planning on selling that place. I have no real need for it and the only reason I bought it in the first place was because of a whim."

"Well then you can stay in the spare room while your here Zant-kun!" Urahara announced jovially "I'm sure Hana-chan won't mind you stayinghere with us!"

Nero had to try hard not to stare when Hana got into her gigai. The Shinigami was attractive to beginwith ut now she had a sexy officer worker or buisness woman thing going with her. He also liked the look of her legs in that short skirt.

"Wow Hana-chan." He said teasingly "You look really good. So very hot and sexy!"

Hana looked at Urahara and smiled. ''I can't decide about your spare room Sir'' she said with a smile. She did fell Zant's eyes on her but tried to ignore it, yet when he said she was hot and sexy, she turned around and walked to him on the heels she wore and grabbed him by his shirt. ''I might not be able to use my sword right now but you can assure yourself from it that I do know very well how to kick your butt when it is needed'' she said and didn't smile for a moment. ''So don't try anything'' she said, then let go of him and pushed him away.

''And about Jinta, your not his father and so he doesn't have to listen to you Zant-san'' she said and laid her hand on Jinta's head. ''He is a brat and he will be one the rest of his life.. simply because he was born that way.. Accept it'' she said and then placed a broom in Jinta's hands and took the baseball bat he mostly was carrying around. ''You are gonna brush this clean, together with Ururu-chan and if I see you hitting her, I'll take you downstairs'' she said and winked. The boy showed his tongue when Hana walked off but Hana didn't care, of course she knew he wouldn't listen, Jinta loved sparing and fighting.

Nero grunted. He wouldn't hit the annoying brat... unless he really, really pissed him off... or he caught him hitting or being mean to Ururu. As Hana walked off he turned to Urahara.

"Do you have any idea who she's looking for?" He asked the man.

Urahara responded by opening the fan he always carried and held it in front of his mouth.

"I might... and I might not." He responded cryptically illiciting a growl from Nero "Oh calm down Nero-kun! I doubt she's here for anything that could cause you trouble."

Nero growled. He hoped that Hana hadn't heard him use his first name as she was leavin. He knew the shopkeeper knew more then he let on but whether or not he actually knew why the Shinigami was here was up to debate. Even if he did he probably wouldn't tell the Arrancar unless he absolutely had to. Grumbling to hmslef he turned and made to follow the Shinigami, maybe following her on her search could provide him some entertainment until Urahara had something interesting for him to do.

"Hey Hana-chan!" He said happily as he caught up to her "Can I help you? I know alot about the town!"

''First of all.. I am Kaori-san for you'' Hana said, she didn't look at him but just laid down the money for renting her room for three weeks and some extra for a few lollipops she had taken from the store with a note for what the money was. ''And no, I don't need help, I do know this town pretty well. I've been here before, several times.. And I might even know more than you do'' she said and then looked at him for three little seconds. ''If you excuse me now, I need to settle myself down and then go on a search'' she said and left to go to the back of the store where the spare rooms were.

She opened the door to the room she always used to find stuff that didn't belong to her. She saw some jeans and black shirts. ''aah.. I see that I have a new room..'' she said and closed the door again. ''Urahara-sama.. Where can I find my room? This one is Zant-san's now I guess'' she said.

"Well yours is right next door Hana-chan!" Urahara told her "And don't be so hard on Zant-kun. He's had a very harsh life and it seriously messed up his mind. He's very crazy!"

When Nero heard Urahara say that... he hit him into the wall. He was NOT insane! He was a Hollow... sort of. He used to be a Hollow and the definition for insanity in regards to Hollows was debatable. They all had problems mentally but thats what happenes when you have a million or so voices and wills inside you fighting for control... at least when your below Vasto Lorde.

He admitted he had... quirks but he wouldn't go on killing sprees... unless they were other Hollows... or someone really, really, really pissed him off... like in 1944. He must have killed at least a hundred humans and thousands of Hollows in just a day or so. But he hadn't enjoyed it!

Yes he did. They had deserved it... the humans anyway. He was being merciful when he put down the Hollows. But nevermind that, he was NOT insane.

"I'm not insane!" Nero stated "I'm perfectly balanced for what I am... oops."

Now he was in trouble.

Hana looked at Urahara and opened the other door and smiled. But when Zant pushed him into the wall her smile disappeared like snow for the sun and she listened to what he said. ''For what you are huh?'' she said and suddenly she left her body and tackled him as a shinigami. ''Then tell me what you are before I kill you'' she said and laid her hand around his throat. Her knee was resting on the lower part of his belly while the other foot stood on the ground. ''Because I have a very good reason for that already since you hurt one of the greatest Captains that ever lived in the soul society...'' she said and for a second she turned to Urahara. ''I did my search on the squads before I did my exams at the academy'' she said.

Nero wasn't worried at all. His gigai could be killed but that would only do two things, release him from it, and make him mad. It didn't affect him whatsoever. Also Hana obviously did not know much about Urahara... or she was stupid. Urahara was banished from Soul Society after being framed by Aizen for conducting Shinigami/Hollow hybridization research. Even if he had been one of the most respected Captains before, now he was a disgrace and would probably be executed if he tried to return... Tessai too. He wasn't sure what would happen to Yourichi but then again he thought she had just left... she had been a Captain that abandoned her post so she could be executed or imprisoned.

"You are a fool." He growled "Urahara was banished. Any respect he had among Soul Society is gone. As for me telling you what I am... go ahead and kill me. You'll be in for quite a shock when you do."

''I am not a fool.. I know about his history'' Hana said and looked at him. ''And I do not have any intention on killing you, unless I really have too'' she said and narrowed her eyes. Then suddenly she felt a hand on her shoulder and looked up, it was Tessai that looked at her and shook his head. ''No Hana-chan'' he said and Hana felt a little weird and then got up. ''Okay.. I won't do anything to him.. But he better stays away from me, at least for now'' she said and walked to her body, entering it and standing up.

First thing she did was pulling down her skirt again and then she entered her own room and closed the door.

"Thanks big guy." Nero said with a nod which was returned.

Grumbling to himself he made his way back out. He really did not want to spend much more time with the irritating woman but wondered what she could be here for. As far as he knew there was nothing of any interest to the Soul Society in Karakura... other then the Visored but the likelihood of those idiots having been discovered was slim to none... they were quite secretive after all. The only reason he knew about them was because Urahara had thought that he could help them learn to control their inner Hollows... which he couldn't.

Could they be interested in that Ichigo person she had mentioned? He honestly had no idea. As he was making his way down the street however he sensed a group of Hollows nearby and decided to take care of them in an attempt to cure his boredom and so made his way into an alley, activated his watch and disappeared in a Sonido.
