The girl didn't seem to like to talk. Yeah, Hiiragi wasn't good with those kinds of people. They seemed hostile but not actually hostile... if that made any sense. After Hiiragi saw her being all well, creepy with some of the things she was repairing, she decided it was better for her to bail before the girl started laughing creepily like an evil scientist. Why did she get this crazy girl as her roommate anyway? Did the teachers found it funny? Having a paranoid girl about her guitar and a dismantling freak in the same room seemed like a recipe for disaster.

"Fine, knock yourself out! I'm out of here! And if I get back and see my guitar in any other place that isn't on her stand, I'm totally going to sue you!" Hiiragi said, before goinf to the door, opening it and then slamming it shut behind her. Ugh, she didn't know exactly why, but it got on her nerves like nothing else. All of that was just... stupid. Hiiragi was plenty sure that she wouldn't be able to get along with her. Maybe she needed to go find someone that shared her passion for metal and rock. There shouldn't be a shortage of those in this academy.

"Now, where to start looking? The cafeteria? Any other place that isn't my room? Yeah, let's go with the second one."

"A giant dinner you say?" Goro asked, his interest starting to peak. "Straight out of Harry Potter?" Goro started to pace the room back and forth, "Oh man! Why didn't you say anything before, I'm starving!" Goro started to rub his stomach, and licking his lips thinking about all the food that would be at the dinner. Goro stopped pacing the room, and looked back at Michael with a determined look on his face. "Well, What are we waiting for! We got to get there soon, you know as they say. The early bird gets the worm. We better get there before everyone else so we get all the food to ourselves!" Goro yelled aloud, before looking down to Michael and smiling ear to ear.

"We also need to hurry, the seats might fill up fast. I don't want to be stuck having to sit by obnoxious people." Goro crossed his arms and rolled his eyes. Completely oblivious to how obnoxious he was being. Goro took his drumsticks and tossed them on his bed, landing softly on his pillow. Goro walked out of the door, into hallway before looking back at Michael. "Are you coming with?!" Goro yelled back into the room.

Does he have any actual right to call others obnoxious?Michael thought to himself as he watched Goro go ramble on and on incessantly. It was almost like that this guy had to talk or else he would die due to some weird medical reason. For the past five minutes that he had met this Goro he's done nothing, but talk and talk and talk and surprise, talk. There's nothing wrong with being talkative, but god there had to be some limits! It was like he was talking to his mother. She almost never stopped talking and there were times that nearly drove him up the wall because there would be times he couldn't even get a word in edgewise. As nice Goro was, the feeling that this was going to be a long year crept in the back of his mind.

Shrugging, he stood up and walked out the door to follow after the hyperactive blonde. Michael decided that he may was well get to know the guy that was rooming with him for the entire year. After all it's just plain courtesy to at least to learn about about him...though there was one tiny problem. He didn't know what to ask this guy! As sociable Goro was there were probably things that he didn't want to talk about and Michael just didn't want to say something to accidentally offend him.

Fukatsu put away her box and stood up, walking towards Hiiragi's bed. She sat down next to her roommate's guitar and amp. She admired them, looking at their beauty. She reached out a single hand, feeling the amp. Hiiragi had said not to touch the guitar. So, Fukatsu would settle with leaving the guitar alone. No matter how hard it was, Fukatsu was a trustworthy person.

After sitting for a while, Fukatsu remembered the large dinner that they would be having. It was always good. Fukatsu pushed herself off the ground and headed towards the door. On her way out Fukatsu put her wrench under her pillow. If anyone was to try and steal it, they would have a very mad mechanic after them. Fukatsu left her dorm room, deciding to walk around a bit, until dinner would start. Maybe meet some new people.

So, Tsukino was a literature major with some other hobbies. And likely shared similar taste in music? Sounded like a guy Michio could get along with, and the added bonus of having the subject of Tatsuya to fall back on. Michio decided that he liked Tsukino, and would have no problems rooming with him.

His reverie ended just as Tsukino asked a question. "Huh? Allergies? No, none. Actually, I'm a pretty big night owl myself, and I could safely estimate that my body is about sixty-percent instant ramen at this point." He laughed a bit at that, if only because of how painfully true it was.

Suddenly, Michio's mind referenced back to Tatsuya's text message, and he remembered something. The dinner! Of course! "Oh, isn't there an introductory dinner tonight as well? It probably starts soon, I'd expect. Shall we? I bet Tatsuya's waiting for us." He gestured to the door, leaving the invitation open-ended. Once again his formal side was showing through, a set of mannerisms which he'd probably have remnants of much later in life.

The First Day: The Dinner

For as long as Tatsuya could remember, she had always been a crowd-pleaser. She was always intent on going on adventures, making new friends, and finding a puzzle inside of everyone. Don't you ever judge anyone, Tatsuya. The world already has enough coldness, you know? Her mother's words hummed in her head. From a young age, she learned quickly to be warm, and that was always rewarding. Paris had reminded her of that with the smile in her bright cheeks. The gleam in her roommate's eyes set her walking once again to a palace of bliss. She had done good. And the best part was, she genuinely wanted to get to know this funny Uzumaki piano prodigy. Even though she said she wasn't a prodigy, she had to be to get into Ongaku. Tatsuya grinned. A modest prodigy was rare to find!

"Good! You didn't have a choice anyway~" Tatsuya chirped with enthusiasm.

~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~

Hm. So, a new roommate wasn't always a bad thing. He could already imagine Tatsuya crossing her arms and spouting something about shounen ai. Well, unfortunately for her, Tsukino found he was comfortable enough with his new roommate to throw her comments out the window. "Right." Tsukino stood, brushing some dust off of the shoulder of his hoodie. It was the best dinner of the year, excluding the Christmas dinner that everyone usually missed out on. They were all gone to their families, opening expensive presents, dining in the most exclusive locations. Tsukino didn't blame them. He followed Michio out the door, finding his mannerisms quite.. interesting. So, it was true. He really had been financially well off in life. Brunette hair covering his eyes, Tsukino could feel an involuntary smirk coming on, and he shoved his hands in his pockets.

~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~

"Come ooooon, Uzumaki-san! We're gonna be laaaate!" Tatsuya pushed, adjusting the signature bun on her head. That was how, Tsukino had once told her, how he distinguished her in crowds--the bun on her head. Applying pink lip gloss finally, Tatsuya found herself tugging at her roommate's hand and rushing down the hall. She had decided to beat Michio and Tsukino there, and if she didn't beat them, well, it was totally unfair because Michio had a Senior and she didn't. Though, truth be told, she would trade away a Senior for her modest piano prodigy roommate any day. Looking back at her, Tatsuya grinned widely. "We're gonna beat 'em for sure!"

Dragging her poor roommate along, Tatsuya followed all the signs leading to the grand dining room, and stopped when she saw the open doors leading into a warm occasion. Hundreds of tables covered the floor, but there was even enough room for people to walk around. Surely this was the hugest room at Ongaku. Tatsuya's eyes grew large when she stared at the ceiling. Chandeliers. "Holy-- Whoa! Uzumaki-san, isn't that cool?! It's so huge! Everything is! And--" She stared around the room to see people already there, including.. Tsukino and Michio, having sat at a table near the right of the room, having two chairs saved. "Damn it! Those bastards won!" Tatsuya could feel her cheeks growing hot, but the girl shook her head, heaving a sigh. "No matter. We'll win next time, huh, Uzumaki-san?" She stared down at her roommate, who was probably gasping for air by now, but Tatsuya was too oblivious to notice.

When the girls made it to the table, they were greeted with a smile from Tsukino. "Ah, Tatsuya. It's been too long. And this must be your roommate." He grinned, tipping his head at the poor girl next to Tatsuya. "Good evening. Are you alright?" He asked, already assuming the worst. Tatsuya puffed out her cheeks and crossed her arms. "Hey! Why're you asking her that? Hmmm..!" She pouted, turning to look at Michio, puching his shoulder playfully. "Well, you might have beaten us to the dinner, but we beat you to Ongaku in the first place!" Tatsuya teased, taking a seat, noticing all the people starting to file in.

It took him a while, given the vast amounts of things he had brought with him, but eventually Hiro managed to unpack the last bag and with a hefty sigh, he collapsed on the bed. He had no idea that moving was quite so tiring, usually he had people to do this sort of thing for him. He flicked a stray strand of hair out of his eyes and pulled on his headphones, putting his iPod onto shuffle and relaxing. There was no sign of his roommate yet, but he wasn't concerned right now, he was too tired for such frivolities. He would deal with that hurdle when he needed to. Providing whoever it was, they didn't touch his things. He could share his space with someone else, providing they respected that this side of the room was his side of the room. This was where he sat, he worked and he slept. No-one else was to set foot on Hiro's side of the room without his blessing.

As he lay on his bed, some Scottish indie band that only really Hiro listened to blaring into his ears, Hiro began to notice the swarms of people moving through the corridor, all heading the same direction. Eventually, with a sigh and a roll of his eyes, he removed his headphones, letting them rest around his neck, still blaring music and stood up, strolling over to the doorway.
"You there. Where is everyone headed in such a rush?" Hiro barked at the nearest fellow student, you looked rather taken aback at Hiro's attitude.
"To that meal they hold for the new students. Apparently is a pretty big deal or something." The guy responded before darting away. Hiro contemplated returning to his bed for a moment, but eventually he shrugged and put his headphones back on, closing the door behind him. There would be plenty of time to meet his roommate later, right now, Hiro was hungry.

He found his way to the dining room without any trouble and strode into the room with his usual holier-than-thou swagger. Now this was what he had been expecting! Proper furniture, chandeliers and the smell of good food. At last, Hiro was starting to see a glimmer of promise about this school. The room was beginning to fill with students, people grabbing seats with people they had met so far, sitting in groups. Hiro didn't really want to talk to anyone. He spied an empty area at the foot of one of the longer tables, the other end already occupied by chattering students but he didn't necessarily need to bother himself with them. He slid himself into a seat, sitting upright with perfect elegance, the sort he had been taught by his family and waited patiently for the promised food.

Goro had been walking for a couple minutes, unable to find the dining hall. "Awh man! We're going to be late!" Goro yelled aloud, stopping in the middle of the hallway and throwing his hands up. After a couple seconds, Goro started to walk again this time at a faster pace. After a couple more minutes, Goro and Micheal finally located the dining hall. Students were already packing into the room, tables being taken left and right. Goro scanned the room, before locating a table untouched by any students. "Over there!" Goro yelled above the noise in the dining hall. Grabbing onto Michael's forearm, Goro pulled Michael over to the table with him in a hurried fast walk.

Goro and Michael reached the table, still empty. "Haha! We made it!" Goro yelled again. "Sit down, quickly before someone comes and fills in the seats!" Goro sat down on one of the chairs, before looking at Michael. "So when do you think the food will get here. I'm starving over here!" Goro looked around the dining hall. "I hope they don't give a giant speech before they give out the food, or I might die of starvation on the spot." Goro looked at Michael again, "While we're waiting for the food, we should get to know each other... If that's fine with you." Without giving Michael the chance to answer, Goro started. "Well I'm from the suburbs of the city, I have five brothers and we all live with our mom. I started drumming at a early age. I actually used to drum for money on the streets!" Goro yelled aloud, getting a little excited over the memories. "How about you!?"

When they'd arrived, Michio had marvelled at the dining room; the pristine tables, the high-end decorating, all luxuries that Michio was stranger to. While he'd done his best not to openly gawk, he was sure that his awe had been noticed by someone. Still though, soon enough he and Tsukino had found a mostly-empty table, making sure to save two spots for Tatsuya and her roommate, which both knew would definitely be joining them. After all, it wasn't like Tatsuya to let a new friend slide out of her grip so easily.

Soon enough their suspicions were confirmed and in waltzed Tatsuya, new, pink-haired roommate on her hip. Tatsuya referred to the girl as Uzumaki, between some jabs about winning and losing and the like. Michio only smiled at her until she sat down, and responded to her playful punch with a jab to her sides, sure to make the ticklish girl squeal.

"Is that a challenge, Aika?" he bickered, pointing at her 'menacingly', "We'll see about that!" He had to laugh, there was something about the girl, as he'd known for a long time now, that just made people feel inexplicably better.

While Tsukino politely conversed with Uzumaki, Michio couldn't help but notice a kid at the end of the table, seemingly sulking by himself with headphones on. Deciding, rather uncharacteristically, that 'the more, the merrier', Michio whistled to the boy and waved, calling, "Hey, would you like to sit with us?"
