Naddy looked over to Miller as he seemed quite excited. She was more excited by the prospect of having a comfortable bed at this moment. Getting up she removed her coat, her tank top showing all the tattoos down her arms, as well as the ones on her lower back and even comingup the the back of her neck. She fallowed Cole over to the kitchen and opened a cupboard pulling out a glass as she moved the fridge getting some ice. After that she moved over looking and finding the Bourbon. Pouring her self a glass she lifted it up to her mouth and took a sip of it. Smiling she felt that golden brown liquid flowing down her throat with that little tickle of a burn. "Now that is refreshing" She set down her glass sighing as she was able to relax for the first time in what seemed like months. She closed her eyes as she was taking sips of her drink.

As she stood there a handgun was handed out to her her. With out even looking she grabbed it, dropping the clip she pulled the slide back and looked forward raising it up as she pulled the trigger. It clicked but since there were now rounds that was all it did as the slide locked back. "Nice, smooth action, quick response. You take care of your guns, the hammer is a little slow on the response." She released the slide lock as it slid forward and she pushed that magazine back up into it's home as she reached back pushing it into the back of her pants. "A holster would be nice" She added grabbing her coat and her drink heading into the living room after hearing cole talking about a meeting. She draped her coat over the back of the couch as she sat down leaning back into the nook of it and took another sip of her drink.

John followed Chris as the two made their escape, running into the alleyway as the sirens got louder. You could hear the screech of tires, followed closely by the opening and slamming of car doors. There was a moment of shouting, accompanied by the whirring blades of the orbiting news helicopter. A ferocious scream then broke through the air as if the shouting of men and the whirring of the helicopter had only been little more than crickets chirping, capable of belonging to no one other than Valkyr herself.

John slowed down and turned to look behind him as Valkyr pounced on an officer, beating his head into the pavement as a shock baton rolled out of his now lifeless hand. The other authorities reached for their sidearms, but Valkyr had already taken the one from the officer she had just killed and began to fire on the other men. Twelve gunshot rapidly rang through the air as four men fell to the ground, dead. The surviving officers took cover being the cars they had arrived in, and Valkyr began to look around frantically. She was doing something...she had an objective...but what? She growled almost as if out of pain, struggling to remember the man with the two shock batons. That was it! She was after him...but where did he go? Valkyr then looked down the alley way and saw a blur of movement disappear around the corner, taking it as a sign of her prey she then bolted off down the alley while the officers began to open fire on her from behind. Meanwhile, John had returned to running after Chris as fast as he could, grunting with every other step as he felt a throbbing pain in his broken arm.

Chris felt all of it. The cracking, the tearing, the crying and the dying and the fear, pungent and mortal, all of it burst into his head as the men were torn apart by the monster. He screamed, fell to his knees, clutched his head with tears streaming from his eyes. One man was afraid when she tore at his throat, afraid to die - another was sad, very sad, because he had never seen the Eiffel Tower. One was guilty, because his son wouldn't be able to sleep without someone to read him bedtime stories. These feelings, these images, were the last things that would ever pass through the minds of those men - and now Chris would forevermore be the keeper of their dying days.

He struggled to his feet and kept running, trying to shut out the pain as he had tried so often to before. It was a losing battle, but he could at least ignore it for now. Most days, he hated ignoring other people's pain; it felt selfish, irresponsible. But he needed to focus now - he needed to get to the stash of supplies he'd hidden, the little place he'd carved for himself during his short time in this city. There, he could think, he could rest, and the creature wouldn't be able to kill any more innocents.

He was, of course, quite certain the place would be empty. Who ever went to train stations these days?

Thomas heard Lucky tell him to help up Lilith, and he extended his had to pull her up. Thomas looked into her eyes, and stared. She looked so pretty, and he wanted to tell her that. He wished that he could, but he hadn't spoken to anyone in so long, and he had barely spoken to people to begin with. Maybe she felt the same way about him, and she could ask him out. Thomas hoped that his staring wasn't too creepy.

Miller Anderson

Swimming contently, and after a while, he felt finished and decided to dip out of the pool to change and go to the 'meeting' that Cole had called him for. Miller bites his tongue accidentally and says Someone's talking about me or somethin' he thought to himself, while getting out of the pool. After drying off with the towel that was conveniently placed there, he upped and started to walk by to his room, dragging water that was still on him onto the floor.

Passing by the living room real quick, it seemed like him and Naddy were talking about something and then he handing her a gun "Hehe, you guys done flirting over here?" he says poking his head in the doorway and then walking off to his room, it took a bit before getting there since the place was a tad bit huge. Finally grabbing a change of clothes, he decides to shower before hand. Quickly running to the shower, he hums the tune that was being played in the car.

Getting out of the comfy heat that was provided by the shower, he wiped himself off and started changing. Walking back to the room that Naddy and Cole were, he sat down on the sofa with a plop, "What's up boss?" he says to Cole while his attention was snapped on the tv, apparently it was some Terminator-esque thing chasing down people, who Miller presumed were gifted, otherwise this wouldn't happen. Clicking his tongue and narrowing his eyebrows he says "What the fuck is this and why is it being streamed on the news?"

"You read alot, so what's your favorite book in old literature?" Damien looked at Kitty, he didn't expect her to be a book reader type, more of a iphone girl to be honest. But, he didn't judge... much but since she asked him a question he didn't mind. So, into his head he dug for books that he liked about old literature, he preferred fantasy but he sometimes ready these old books once in a long while filling him with nostalgia when he did. Finally picking out an answer he said "It has to be from Shakespeare sadly, as that's all I read from that genre but my favorites would be Macbeth or Midsummer Night Dream."

He yawned as they pulled up to the Library... "Oh look dead people, Kitty! Would you look at that! Wait what, dead people?!" Daimen said disbelieving about what he had just said and was current right now seeing. A lone body was dead, as it seeming patient 0 if you could explain it like that, and then there was a cluster of other bodies torn and destroyed by some raging creature that he saw running into the alleyway. It wasn't much of a secret that it led to the train station, as he had sadly been there before when he didn't have his RV. This was a long time ago, but now they had a problem to deal with. He only hoped that the two would survive, long enough because whatever killed those police officer was a threat to be dealt with and very cautiously of course.

Cole Harland
Cole heard Naddy's comments on his guns and he simply replied,"They've gotten me this far haven't they, with or without a holster". Just after saying so Miller passed through the living room leaving a comment in his wake. "If it's flirting I'm doing a hell of a lot better job at it than you", Cole retorted with a slight grin. Upon Miller's return Cole's attention was brought to the tv after hearing him talk about the thing on tv. It was hacking away at the cops and pretty much anyone in the area. "It's hunting our kind. It's meant to scare us...and the regulars. Any gifted seeing this will see what's coming for them. Any regular seeing this will see the seriousness of the 'gifted threat' and the costs to keep us at bay", Cole looked away from the tv and back at his G36C. His veins began to turn black but only for a moment before he regained control of himself. "Tomorrow after this is done we should look for any gifted survivors, and bring them here. Don't get used to the luxury because things are changing. Fast"

Lilith smiled up at both Tom and Lucky, her smile wide and her teeth still surprisingly white. She took the arm up from Tom when he offered it, and she looked back at Lucky.

"Well, I have a thing with plants...and animals. I cam call them to me, and plants can grow at my word. It's weird huh?" Lilith dug around through her backpack, and she found a granola bar. With a pleased face, she opened up the package. It felt so good to hear The sound of the plastic tearing. But the taste was would brought her over the edge. She only ate what she needed to to survive. Usually She would manipulate the ground until edible plants grew, but sometimes hunters would find her if she did that, and she couldn't do it often. The granola bar was one of her very few delicacies. "So, I was wondering. How do you think we're going to solve this?"

Kithra Moore

Kithra smiled when she saw the look that Damien gave her. He no doubt thought she was more of a magazine type of girl, sure she didn't read much but that didn't mean she didn't like to read. She remembered reading the Narnia series, and truth be told she thought it was the best series of all time. But she didn't voice it very often, not now as she was running for her life.

"It has to be from Shakespeare sadly, as that's all I read from that genre but my favorites would be Macbeth or Midsummer Night Dream."

Now it was time for her to feel embarrassed as she never read anything from Shakespeare. It wasn't a required reading in her English classes when she was in school. "I heard that they were good. I saw the play once, but I fell asleep a quarter way through." She said as she felt her cheeks go slightly pink. He has to think I'm an idiot. Like I can barely take of myself, and I feel so uncivilized. She thought as she bit her lip as she looked down at her hands feeling a bit silly and child like as she needed someone to help her.

"Oh dead people, Kitty! Would you look at that! Wait what, dead people?!"

Kitty looked at Damien with an odd expression as he said the words kind of casually at first. She then looked at the horror before her, never had she seen a dead body before. And just like that the fuzziness that filled her head from Damien's words vanished. Her mouth hung open as if she wanted to scream but couldn't. She looked over at Damien with a thousand questions in her head, as Regulars never killed their own if they were hunting Gifted. But here there were a lot of dead Regulars. "What would kill like this?!" She asked as her brain seemed to stop working, she truly felt like a child even though she really wished not to be.

Lucky Newman

"Well, I have a thing with plants...and animals. I cam call them to me, and plants can grow at my word. It's weird huh?"

Lucky smiled and shook his head as he continued to watch for trouble. He didn't think that Lilith's gift was too weird, in fact he thought it could be rather useful. That's when he wondered if they could run to a place where few Regulars went and start a kind of colony. They would be safe or at least the could be safe. If enough Gifted came together and helped each other, there was a possibility they could survive.

That would mean that you would have to trust again. A colony can't survive without trust. The words drifted through his head in a female voice. He knew whose voice it was, and he hated it. Frowning he looked at Tom and Lilith, he felt bad that he couldn't fully trust them but his past wouldn't let him.

"So, I was wondering. How do you think we're going to solve this?"

Lucky was pulled back from his thinking when Lilith asked the question. though he wasn't sure on how to answer it. "Truth be told, I am not sure. I was hoping to just see where this goes and survive the day let alone the night. Though we might have to move later." He said as the feeling of dread grew in his stomach. He suddenly wondered if they should leave now, as the last time he had this gut feeling he ended up having to kill everyone he thought were friends.

"Hehe, you guys done flirting over here?" She laughed some sitting there as Cole responded "If it's flirting I'm doing a hell of a lot better job at it than you". "I didn't know I was some prize at a competition" She said jabbing back at them. Though the TV caught her attention as she looked at the screen. She watched as that...thing indiscriminately kill any in it's path. She leaned forward a bit as she watched the scene unfolding. She could hear Coles heart beating faster, same with Millers. Though she could even feel her own starting as well "It's hunting our kind. It's meant to scare us...and the regulars. Any gifted seeing this will see what's coming for them. Any regular seeing this will see the seriousness of the 'gifted threat' and the costs to keep us at bay" She looked over to Cole and saw the veins in his arms turning black before fading away "Tomorrow after this is done we should look for any gifted survivors, and bring them here. Don't get used to the luxury because things are changing. Fast" She looked at showing that little half smile "so basically, our entire lives since we turned 18". Her tone was very different then normal, more serious as and lacking that playful thing.

Naddy stood up before walking back into the kitchen. She set her empty glass down and looked at it. She didn't even notice that she drank it all as she poured herself another one. Lifting up she took a drink of it as she grabbed two more and filled them up as she walked over to the two boys. She set both glasses down as she leaned back "Before you make any jokes remember, I'm armed now she said trying to lighten the mood a bit, even her own.

John ran along after Chris, noticing that he seemed to be experiencing some sort of pain or discomfort. "Come on...d-don't falter now...k-keep your head!" John cheered at him, the pain from his own arm causing his sentences to break with sharp inhales and exhales. Some distance down the alley ways, and just before a turn, John looked back to see if Valkyr was still pursuing them. He saw nothing, but that alone was not enough to assure their safety...not for him. As Chris continued on, John quickly moved to knock over some trash cans in an attempt to fake a path that Valkyr might follow, and once he was done with that he tried to catch back up to Chris.

Valkyr, however, was blindly running into almost every trash can in the alley as she followed what she thought had been the path of her prey. New sirens approached from somewhere behind her, and this time they were the sirens of ambulances, to which Valkyr only growled. It seemed as though she was starting to calm down, but not by much, as she was beginning to carry herself a little bit less like an animal and a little bit more like a human being. But that wasn't going to make her any less dangerous...

Cole took his glass from the table and said plainly, "So am I". That thing on the news had Cole on edge. The last time Hunters were this close to him a lot of people died. Every now and then he'd glance at the door or check his gun. "Relax Harland, you're safe here. For now", eventually getting himself to relax Cole downed the drink he picked up but never actually drank. "I'm going to sleep, you two have fun together", Cole got up from the couch and headed to the bathroom. After taking a shower and the works he headed into his room and laid on the bed. It didn't take long before he was asleep but his dreams were anything but sweet.

They were almost there. Chris wasn't sure if that was a good thing, seeing as how they hadn't lost her yet, but at least at the train station nobody else would... be... hurt. Oh, no.

Warm bed warm air, mother, father, smells like pine trees, far, far away. Cannot go back. Friendly faces foul, fear, famous fault on a favorite festival, freak freak FREAK GET OUT OF HERE FREAK. Numbers burn, want to and don't want to, afraid of friendly faces.

Lucky, so lucky, lovely lady, sings like strings. I think I'm in love. Blood, blood, sticks and coats and cloys, he won't die can't die smells like copper burns like hate.

There were people here, at the train station. Chris called out a warning as he came towards them at a dead run, hoping that if the monster wouldn't scare them off, he might. "Run! Run run run!"

Cole awoke the next day before the others. For a moment it felt just like old times as he got up out of bed and headed towards the bathroom. After showing and brushing his teeth he headed to the kitchen to get something to eat. Turning on the stove he began to cook some bacon and eggs while brewing coffee. All the while listening to one of his favorite songs from back in the day with his old crew. Once breakfast was ready he fixed himself a plate of the bacon and eggs leaving the rest for Naddy and Miller. Sitting at the kitchen counter he sipped his coffee as he began to compile a plan for today. That thing from last night might still be lurking in the town so his group had to be extra careful if they were going to look for survivors. That was their second problem. The Suite was meant for a small group. If they found a good amount of Gifted there was a chance they'd have to send some away or be forced to look for another place to set up shop. Sure they could take the above ground rooms of the motel but that would mean putting them in danger while he and the original group sat pretty down here. "Wish you were here Jane...You always knew what to do", Cole said low but aloud. Taking another sip of his coffee followed by a bite of breakfast Cole looked towards the stairs to the pool. "It's been a while since I last swam in there, maybe today"
