One would of never have known that there was trouble or people on the run. But then such things were never big news, the only thing that made the new was if a family protected those that would of been other wise on the run. The street looked like any other that would be in a city, it needed some work but it was okay. There was very little going on and one would assume that everyone was in their backyards having a barbecue, and having a few drinks with friends and family. Yes it was that kind of lovely late spring day, warm, blue skies, and not a cloud to be seen. Everything was perfect.
Screams rang out from a small but neat house (house 312), the street was no longer peaceful. People came out to see what was happening as screams like that meant that something was seriously wrong. The people already out on the their front yards watched as a young girl stumbled out of house 312, she was crying and looked like she was trying to get away. A shot rang out and the girl fell to the ground clutching her leg, those watching saw a large man stand in the front door of house 312 with a shot gun in his hands. The barrel of the gun smoking.
"Please Daddy!....... I... I'm your daughter! Pl... please!" The girl cried out as she held out one of her hands as if that would stop her father. Those close enough could see that the girls once blue eyes was mismatched with a black one. She was a Gifted.
"You are no longer my daughter! You are a monster!" The man yelled as he reloaded his gun and walked down the front steps. The girls mother was in the door way now, tears streaming down her face but she did not try to stop her husband.
"DADDY!..... I sw... swear my...my... my gift isn't dangerous!" The girl cried through heavy tears as she tried to talk her father out of killing her.
"How can I be sure? .... No, it's better this way." He said as he raised his gun to take aim.
"NO!" the girl held up her hands as if that could stop the oncoming led. Another shot rang through the air and the girl fell back, her body lifeless.

Lucky felt his stomach turn at what he just witnessed, but he knew this happened more than people cared to admit. He was lucky enough just to have parents that sent Hunters after him, and not out right kill him. He stood on the sidewalk a little longer, his eyes unable to leave the dead girl. Only the sounds of sirens pulled him away from the scene in front of him, he knew that those sirens would bring Hunters so he had to leave. He turned slowly and walked back the way he came, if he came across anyone he could make them forget him and he could safely keep walking. It was only when large groups of people saw him that it got complicated.
He pulled his hood of his sweater up on his head to keep people from seeing his eyes, though he knew that wearing a hoodie usually caused people to look at you. As they wanted to see if you were a Gifted, and if you were, you better be marked in some way by your master. He ran into a few enslaved Gifted, they usually looked scared, worn or just plain beaten. It was no life for anyone, he knew that the Regulars had every right to do what ever they wanted to their Gifted.

Lucky shook his head, he had to have a clear mind in order to survive, being lost in thought could get you killed or worse. He looked about himself and took note of his surroundings, he was downtown. There were a few people walking and enjoying the beautiful day and doing some shopping, he had to do some shopping though his shopping was stealing. He walked into a corner store and grabbed a few things then walked up to the cashier who had been watching him. "Forget." Lucky said lowly as he looked the cashier in the eyes. The cashier got a dazed look come over her face and Lucky knew that he had about a minute to get out of there. He walked quickly, though he had no idea where he was going he simply let his feet take him.

He walked to the other side of the city to an abandoned train station, it was in use before the fast rail came. "Nice choice feet." He joked as he smirked. He went into the station to see what was in the old building before going out to the tracks where there were many abandoned train cars. He opened one of the cars, looked around to make sure that he was alone before jumping in. He closed the door but left it open just enough that he could see the station house. He knew that he had to be careful as Hunters occasionally checked abounded places.

Nice sat in a corner of a library, perched on a comfy seat, burrowed in a book. Her hair falling around her face, blocking it from view. Her hair and hood keeping her hidden in a crowded place. Hunters wouldn't look in a library. It's crowded, chock full of people and if they say a gifted one someone would notice. It took someone like Nice, who looked so natural burrowed in a book, not tense, not hesitant, just silent and focused. An upside to the gift that Nice held.

"Excuse me, where can I find the mystery section?" someone asked. Nice looked up, rubbing her red eye so that only the blue one was visible.
"It's over there," Nice said, gesturing to the mystery section before returning to her book. She had to use underhand tactics to stay in a place like this, but no Hunter in their right mind would someplace so crowded.

John was wrapping gauze around his head and over his purple eye, making sure to get the bandage under his hair so as to not make it so obvious. He had already put some dried meat from a hamburger under the gauze and over his eye, so as to make it look swollen. Once finished, he looked himself over in the mirror and decided he'd done a decent enough job trying to blend in. Might not fool a doctor, but it should certainly trick somebody who doesn't know a thing about medical practices.

John then opened the door to the men's restroom inside a burger joint, looking around the place with his one, uncovered eye. It was weird, this whole one-eyed concept, but it was necessary. John walked the door to leave, and a woman was approaching the door to enter. John opened the door and stood to the side to let the lady in, to which he noticed she gasped slightly at the sight of his eye. But the woman didn't speak, she just hurried through the door. John took that as a sign of success, and left the burger joint to take in his surroundings as best as he could. Now, with his disguise complete, it was on to the true matter; the gift he could sense being used nearby. So John walked up and down the sidewalk on one side of the road until the sensation in his mind peaked, and he crossed the street.

"A public library? Clever..." John muttered and chuckled to himself. This gifted was hiding out in plain sight? John was impressed. He proceeded to enter the library and followed his senses until he noticed a fairly pretty girl sitting in a chair in the corner of the library, reading a book with her hair covering her face. He hesitated a moment, and the approached to ask a simple question. "Excuse me, miss, but uh...do you know where the science fiction section is?"

Kithra Moore

Pain stabbed Kithra's stomach as she passed a small bakery, she hadn't eaten in three days. Last time she ate, she had stolen a sandwich but she was nearly caught. She wasn't the best at stealing, or lying or anything that would of helped her to survive. No, she was helpless and she knew it. It was a miracle that she wasn't caught by hunters or any of the normal people, she was clumsy and was a sad thing for being Gifted.

Her gift wasn't even one that could even help her survive, dancing. If she danced she would attract unwanted attention, her dancing entranced others making them forget their problems. Heck, she knew if she danced and asked for money she would get it, but what good was money when you couldn't spend it? The cashier would see her different colored eyes and would call the hunters or worse. She saw what happened to those that had what others called "dangerous" gifts, one way ticket to the shooters range. She wouldn't be taken to such a place, no she would taken and sold as someone's slave, to be entertainment. She had also seen what happened to entertainment Gifted, they were often abused and not taken care of. She rather die then be someone's pet.

Another pain racked her stomach, she was so hungry. She stood in front of the bakery a little while longer before moving on. She needed to fine a place to spend the night and maybe a garbage bin to go through. Look at what I am reduced to! She thought angrly as she kept her head down. She never thought she would be reduced to such a state, where she would be going through garbage bins searching for food. She wished she was never a Gifted, she wished that she was a normal person.

She knew she would die alone, and by the way things were going she was also going to die hungry.

Damien glanced around the tiny shop, in which he had entered in easily with no problem at all, walking with confidence through the shop as he examined the goods of the bakery. He eventually found out what he wanted and headed to the cash register to go pay, and approached the female cashier who was in charge. He smiled as he gave some small talk to the girl and paid before leaving, it was an easy job as he had contact lens in the color of light brown. During his conversation he silently wondered why it was so hard for other 'gifted' individuals to not go out in the open, they simply had to use their brains and work around the problems. This thought had came to him when the tv, inside the store was turned on with again another news, of a 'gifted' individual killed in their parent's backyard.

So, after his purchase Damien walked out of a bakery that he had stopped by to grab some croissants, in general they were his favorite type of food on the go, however his last batch had gotten dry and hard so he had threw them away. With a new package of croissants and several other baked goods in a bag that he was carrying he took a right and started walking to his car. Passing a girl who looked rough shape and from the brief glance he stole at her face he knew what she was. Would he risk talking to the girl, or should he help her? In the end his compassionate side took over and gave in, and he wanted to tap the girl on the shoulder but instead went up to the girl and discreetly talked to her as if they we're related somehow.

"Oh Hey, how are you long time no see!" He said happily smiling to her, cheerfully glowing before giving a face of concern "You don't look so well! What happened to you, if you stay out here any longer you, you know 'They wont be happy now' ! I also heard there are hunters in the town now, so there is a lot of tension right now. I think we need to lay low back at home and let things settle down, come-on lets go."

As he was talking to the girl, his voice felt oddly soothing but soon ended as with a flick of the wrist, he smiled before slipping his hand into hers and guided her to his car. Once he had reached his motorhome, his keys went into the door before it opened, before releasing her hand and motioned her to go in first. He spared a glance or two both sides of him cautiously as he always was looking incase trouble came along.

“Forgive me father, for I have sinned.”

It was warm in the church, and bright – but where Chris sat in the confessional it was dark indeed. It was funny – he’d been afraid of the confessional box when he was a child, but now it was one of the only places he felt safe. Wherever he went, no matter how far his self-imposed exile took him, there was always a church, and always a confessional. Nobody could see him in that dark box; nobody would be afraid.
“It has been twenty days since my last confession.”
The woman at the pew, crying softly. Mourning someone. Her… husband? No. Boyfriend. A hunter. Killed in action.
“I have brought pain to my fellow man… I have sown fear and dismay with my presence…”
Begged him not to go. One more hunt, he said. Promised. Begged him.
“I have lied to friend and stranger… I have defied the laws of the land…”
Dead on a knife. Killed himself. It told him to, and he did it.
“And I have failed to do as much good as I could do. As I should do.”
They should all be killed. Put down like the wild animals they are. All those crazy-eyed freaks-
“My child?” The priest’s voice was soft and steady, as though it had always known exactly what it was about to hear and exactly what it would say in reply. It shook Chris away from the woman, back to the dark box and his own head.
He continued. “You are… gifted… aren’t you?” His voice was still steady, still calm, but Chris knew he was afraid, afraid of the answer to his question, and the strange young man who had wandered into his church.
Chris said nothing. The priest was silent for a moment, then spoke. “I will speak not of it. Three Hail Maries, three Our Fathers. Go and sin no more.”
Chris rose from the confessional, pulled his hood up, wrapped his scarf around his face and placed his sunglasses over his eyes. It wasn’t exactly a stealthy get up, but the alternative was no better – and might hurt people.
As he walked toward the doors, he stopped by the weeping woman. “It didn’t take him away. He was still him, and he wasn’t afraid when he died. He was thinking about how much he loved you.”
He kept walking before she could reply, before she could look at him or recoil in horror at his presence. He didn’t know if what he said was true; hell, he wasn’t even sure what it meant. All he knew was that she needed to hear it. It would help her.

As he exited the church, Chris saw a public library across the street. Crowded, but as good a place as any to spend the night, if he could find a quiet corner. Maybe he could try the mystery section.
“Our father, who art in heaven…”

A man sat in chair at the center of a room with a black bag over his head. The place seemed to be abandoned and the only light source was from the holes in the boarded up window. The rays of light illuminated the dust particles that floated around the dimly lit room. The bagged man was unconscious but soon awoke to darkness. As one would expect it caused him to become alarmed and he soon began to call out for help. His cries alerted a man outside the room to enter but his heavy footsteps did not comfort the bagged man. "Listen whoever you are just let me go! I won't tell anyone about this I swear to god just don't hurt me!", his pleading did nothing but have his captor remove the bag. His reaction was instantaneous horror, "NO NO NO NOT YOU OH GOD PLEASE NO!-" before he could finish his rambling Cole delivered a punch to the man's jaw. He quickly silenced himself as the pain prevented him from continuing to scream. "Are you done? Good, because it's my turn to talk", Cole took a step back and began to pace around his captive. His eyes locked on the man with a look of sheer hatred and scorn. "I know you've been following me...Terrance Crewe. I know you aren't a hunter and I know you aren't a bad person. I know you lost your family to a gifted and you've become this Gifted-Hunter. In truth I don't give a shit who you are or what you've been through. You are making my life very difficult. In truth I could have left the bag on you and dropped you off at a gas station or something but you'd still hunt my kind....however this is way is more enjoyable for me"

"PLEASE NO NO NO N-", It was too late. Cole grabbed Terrance by the throat and within seconds life left his body. The blood vessels around his neck became black and he seemed to have been starved within seconds. His eyes were sunken in and his face looked as if it had seen the devil in his last moments. When it was over Cole felt an overwhelming sense of euphoria as he leaned against the wall of the room. "One less regular to worry about..", he said as he got off the wall. His business here was done, Cole left the body where it lay and exited the abandoned building. Outside waiting was his car which he quickly got into but before he turned the ignition a thought entered his head. "This is the second time a non-hunter has come after me. Maybe it's time I got backup..., he didn't think about it for long before he started up the car and sped away. He was heading for town, perhaps he'd find a like minded Gifted.

Thomas was walking down the street with sunglasses on. He could make people stop noticing him, but he didn't want to risk any hunters knowing that he was using his power. He looked at shops where he could get some clothes, these ones were starting to get worn out, and then saw a cheap clothing store.

Thomas walked into the store, and started browsing the clothes, and then heard someone behind him, who spoke in a gruff voice, "Excuse me," he said to Thomas. He turned round quickly, gasping, hoping it wasn't a hunter,
"Yeah?" he asked, scared that they might attack him,
"Do you know where the jeans are?"
"Oh, yeah," Thomas said, relived that he wasn't a hunter, "There over there," he told him, pointing to a clothing rack,

After a few minutes of browsing the clothes, Thomas decided that he wasn't going to get anything here, and stepped outside, the sun feeling warm on his pale skin, and he walked over to his car. He sat down in his car, and rested. He didn't have anywhere to live anymore, and he had been relegated to his car for months now. Thomas put some music on in his car, and hoped he could find someone like him.

"Uh, yeah I do," Nice answered. She covered one eye, appearing to try and rub something out of it.
"It's over there," a Nice said, pointing. She then went back to reading, her face hidden once again. It was pesky that people were asking her questions, but at least no one would ever meet Nice. They would only meet Marianne. It was the perfect disguise.

It's been over a little over a year after he left home in an attempt to get away from the Hunters, and he has observed the stubborn attitude of other 'Gifted' people like him, refuse to leave the place they called him, only to have the 'Hunters' move in and subjugate them. Only to leave the home with deadpan eyes, all light from those eyes have been drained away by something. He has watched it happen, and he has tried to tell them to leave so that they wouldn't get caught, some heeded his advice, leaving quickly, but the unfortunate others who ignored him had become Hunter fodder.

He was deeply pondering these thoughts, as he was walking along the side of a stretched out road. The heat was getting to him, he had already finished his last bottle of water he packed from an earlier town visit, 20 minutes ago. He was going to pass out sooner or later, and he knew it. "I really should've packed more water, haaah." he said to his deteriorating self. A building was clearing in the distance, he thought it was a trick of the eye but as he got closer, the building only increased in size. "Fuck yes, lucky, now how much money do I have on me?" he asked out-loud, not really expecting an answer.

He began to walk towards the gas station, before entering, he put on his sunglasses. Opening the door, a ring came which signified the owner if there was a customer, a burly man stared at him and uttered a nonchalant 'Welcome'. Not really caring right now, he immediately walked towards the water section and grabbed himself 5 bottles, all costing 1.50 dollars "Cheh, whats with these overpriced water bottles" he said to himself again. Bringing the water bottles to the counter, it totaled to 7.50 dollars, grumbling he fished out a 10 dollar bill out of his bag and handed it to the clerk. "You know, your prices are really expensive." he said to the clerk, with him just shrugging back and in his burly voice, saying "Well it's all the way out here, deal with it." Being handed the 2.50 dollars, he pocketed them and went outside, sat down on a sidestep and greedily drank one of the bottles down.

Cole hadn't been driving long when his car signalled that it was low on gas. "Son of a-", it wasn't a matter of money that angered him because he had a good amount. What bothered him was that he had to watch his expenses at all. "These regulars have it so easy they don't even know it", he thought as he pulled into a gas station. The regulars think because we have gifts makes us all killers, Cole knew he was a killer but that was only because he was protecting himself. Gifted are hunted down, sometimes killed by their own family. Why? Because one day they woke up with a different color eye. He knew other gifted, some of them didn't even have dangerous powers. If anything the hunters should be coming after him and gifted who could kill. Not that he was going to let them however. His life was his own, he was human just like them..he still is human. Until the regulars learned to deal with us properly the gifted would continue to run, hide, and kill if necessary. Hunters were mot the answer.

Cole was brought back to reality and the task at hand. He hooked up the pump to the car and waited for it to fill. Only a few minutes after he did so was the gas tank full and the pump sounded with a ding. "They still have the ding at the pump? Damn this place is older than I thought", he said to himself before looking at the price. "Alright let's check the vault..", he said as he walked over to the trunk of the car. Upon opening it there was a duffel bag filled with cash. Over the years he'd done some...not so legal jobs with less than friendly company. Sometimes it required him to use his gifts but he needed the cash and in the end it just made him stronger for what he needed to face in the future. Cole grabbed the required amount of cash and headed towards the inside of the gas station. Exiting was a man with a good amount of water bottles in his hand. The way the guy chugged down a bottle told Cole it had been a long time since he last had a good thing going for him. He could be a gifted on the run or another homeless bum. Either way there was no certain at to tell without bringing unwanted attention to themselves. Too bad, if he was a gifted Cole would have helped him out. Fortunately Cole did not see the dog shit he was about to step on until the last second, he managed to move his foot out of the way but it caused him to lose balance a little and he his leg brushed against the guy with the water. Suddenly he could feel that he was no longer alone with his thoughts. This guy was gifted after all,"Wait in the car.." he said to water boy quietly before heading into the store to pay. "Looks like I'll have some company for bit"

John chuckled to himself quietly, and eyed the girl curiously. He stood there for a moment, crossing his arms as he looked around to make sure nobody was within earshot. It was clear, for the moment...corners had their advantages, it seemed. "I know who you are." He said, pulling a chair over so he could sit down. He then gestured at his bandages eye. "You and I...we're of a kind, you know?" John continued, sitting back in his chair. "For example...we both enjoy books. And we both have a secret. We've both been oppressed. The government has always favored those with money, and the powers belonging to the people are being taken away..."

By now, John was trying to send this girl a message by emphasizing words in what might sound like idle chatter. You could tell he wasn't the best at this kind of communication, as the topics he discussed didn't exactly have the smoothest transitions. "The government has all the power now...and they don't want anyone else to have any. The government says that they know what's best. We've little choice but to agree and do as we're told." John leaned forward, and continued to speak more softly. "So that's why the government watches over us and protects us like they do. It's a dangerous world out there, and it's getting worse. I'm just glad I found you before any of those other freaks did...you never know who might be watching you..." John finished, and leaned back in the chair again. He hoped that the girl was smart enough to understand what he meant, so that he might get her to leave the library. John didn't want to have to hurt her, but his master wanted another body...and John was running out of time. Maybe if she had some gifted friends? He thought, as he wanted to make a point of only capturing those that were gifted with more...dangerous gifts. Nah...we...no...THEY...usually hide alone. But...I could never hurt someone like her...but...I'm also running out of time...

Kithra Moore

Kithra was trying hard not to feel the pain in her stomach when she heard something that sounded a human voice, but as soon as she heard it she felt calm and the pain in her stomach dulled slightly. She looked at the man beside her, did she know him? She must have since he seemed to know her, but she wasn't sure. Something in the back of her mind seemed to telling to run, but before she could react he grabbed her hand. She let him lead her to his car, she got in without protest which she would of never had done. She maybe bad at stealing, lying and naive in some aspects but she was smart enough not to trust a stranger. But it was like she knew him or in the very least he knew her.

As they drove they were silent which seemed to clear some of the fogginess from her mind. She looked over at the driver and took notice of his eyes, He's a Gifted! in her old life she would of been terrified but now she was kind of relieved, though she was still careful as not all Gifted were the nice kind. She knew that some killed and some abused people, regardless if they were Regulars or Gifted. The car stopped and Kithra suddenly realized she had no idea how to defend herself if it came to that. She took a deep breath and allowed the Gifted to lead her to what must of been his home. She looked at Gifted as he ushered her to his motorhome and motioned her to enter first, she was about to shake her head but the smell of food suddenly caught her attention.

She entered the motorhome and what looked like leftovers from that morning, she felt her stomach twist as she bit her lip. But when she heard the door shut she turned and looked at the Gifted. "What is your name?" She asked before he could say anything, though she noticed that her mind was still kind of fuzzy. The fuzziness seemed to get worse when he spoke, so she hoped that she could keep her wits about her when he began to speak. She heard about Gifted having strong gifts but she never expected to run into one. The longer she looked at this one she felt herself losing her mind, as she thought he was pretty. Keep your mind Kitty. She said to herself, using her old nickname.

Lucky Newman

Lucky had fallen asleep, for how long he was unsure. All that he knew was that he woke gasping for air and he was on the verge of tears. "Forget!" He yelled though he wasn't sure why. He must of been dreaming, maybe about that Gifted girl he watched get shot by her family. Or maybe it was the countless other horrors he had witnessed since going on the run. He never realized just how violent, unforgiving and deadly the world was until he entered the world of being a Gifted. It was like a kill or be killed world, he watched his kind starve to death. He tried to help but they were too far gone, so all he could do while he was with them was make them forget their pain. Though he couldn't make them forget their past hurts, he could make them forget what they were currently feeling so long as he was with them.

He wished he could make himself forget, but he tried that once and nothing happened. He rubbed his face before standing and getting out of the rail-car and going over to the abounded train station. He needed to walk, couldn't stay in one place. He felt tortured by his own mind almost like he took on the pain of those that he watched die. He wanted to be a doctor, he wanted to save people, relieve their pain, heal them, but he was a thing that everyone feared. Well what the Regulars feared anyway. "I can make others forget, but I am stuck remembering everything!" He said to himself, he was feeling a little sorry for himself but that usually happened when he woke up from a dream that was more like a nightmare.

He walked around the abandoned train station, just to easy his mind. He was tired of being lonely.

"I agree that we are similar, sure. But I think that all your bullshit about the government isn't something to discuss in a library. But hey what do I know about about people like you. You guys try so hard but you end up alone. Stuck without a companion. You should learn better conversation skills," Nice responded, not looking up. She was pretty good at things like this. She closed her book and returned it to its home on the shelves. She scowled and walked away, as if she had just had an argument. Nice was great with people. She always seemed to know what they were thinking. But before exiting the library she ran her hands through her hair and put shifted her hair over her eyes. To any other person she would seem like a young girl who had just been in an argument with a friend. But hey, covers were Nice's specialty.

Chugging on the second water bottle, he noticed a man pull up, to the driveway, with a sour face, filling his car with gas. Not really minding, he went back to drinking water and the man seemed like he finished filling up the gas and was about to go into the gas station to pay, when all of a sudden, the man lost his footing, due to the dog poop he was about to step on, he brushed against Miller.

Miller then saw through the eyes of the man;
It was a dark and dingy road, the person was following a man, who seemed to have noticed his presence and walked faster. The person matched his pace and finally cornered him to a dead end. Feeling a sense of euphoria come over the person as he siphoned the life of the struggling man, he finally fell limp and dead on the floor with deep sunken eyes. He spat on his face and walked away. "That's for my sister you fuck."
---

Another scene pops up, he's seen taking to other people with different colored eyes, he was talking about freeing the other trapped gifted when all of a sudden, people, who are assumed to be hunters broke in their rendezvous area and began to gun down some Gifted, the person is then seen siphoning the life of another man and his bullet wound to the shoulder was getting healed...
---

A final scene was shown to Miller, "...In truth I don't give a shit who you are or what you've been through. You are making my life very difficult. In truth I could have left the bag on you and dropped you off at a gas station or something but you'd still hunt my kind....however this is way is more enjoyable for me" he said right before grabbing his neck and siphoning more life out, he again felt another surge of euphoria right before the memory ended

===

Finally ending the surge of memories that were siphoned by him, the sour faced man simply stared at him, seemingly knowing that he's already gifted and likewise. He simply said "Wait in the car..", still taken aback by this mans memories and his roughness, he couldn't blame him for being like this,
"Fucking hunters." he thought to himself and started to walk towards the car, bag and water(s) in hand. He sat on the 'shotgun' seat and strapped himself in, waiting for the other Gifted to return and be on their merry way.

"We could be called the dynamic duo!" he whispered to himself and lightly chuckled.

Chris was doing his best to read the pulp mystery novel he held in front of his face, but in a crowded place like this, it was a losing battle.

She lied. She said she loved me.
Have to find it, HAVE to find it.
I can't miss rent again...

Chris shook his head to clear the voices and looked up from his book to see two people in a heated argument a short distance away from where he was sitting in the corner. She rose and stormed up, and he expected to hear a few thoughts of frustration or anger at the bandaged boy in front of her, but there was... nothing. The red-headed girl walking past him was impossible to read. Curious, he reached out, trying to identify any sensation of discomfort: a minor ache, a disappointment, an ancient regret.

... Nope. Nothing.

He turned his power to the bandaged man in hopes of some answers; answers which were forthcoming as he immediately noticed that the apparently injured eye seemed to be bothering him not at all.

But...I could never hurt someone like her...but...I'm also running out of time...

He inhaled sharply. They were like him. Gifted, and trying to hide it. What was more, she was in danger. He watched the girl leave the library.

Without a moment's hesitation, he grabbed his bag and his guitar case and set off to follow her.

Naddy rode though the highway. Soon passing another sign, She looked the darkness of her visor filtered out the sun from hitting her eyes as she leaned into a turn while riding that GSXR-1000. Black with red trim, it was the only thing she had left from her father. He and her got it cheap, then restored it back to it's former glory. With a twist of her wrist she hit the throttler speeding down the rode. She looked down and smiled closing her eyes. Soon she leaned and turned, left, long turn, road getting even straight away so she hit it. She leaned to the left avoiding a pot hole before opening her eyes. She in truth didn't know how her gift worked, but hey it did. She slowed down and soon pulled into a gas station pulling in front driving in front of a car as she turned her head looking at the man in the passenger seat. Kicking out her bike stand as she got out off of her bike. Her jacket and pants hid her figure, though they did form to her slim frame.

She took off her helmet as her long hair fell down out of it and she shook her head running her hand through it. She looked over to the car as she looked at the passenger, she got a bit of an odd feeling from him, but not un-trustworthy feeling. Her eyes were a strike contrast one pitch black, the other almost pure white. she didn't have her contacts in as she hadn't had much need from them being out of civilization. She looked over at him and smiled bringing two fingers up giving him a little salute. She then headed into the store to grab a bit of a snack as she pulled some sunglasses out of her pocket and unzipped her coat. She wore a cropped tank top showing the tattoos on her stomach. Her belly button was framed by an angel wing on her left side and a skelatal one on the right. The words "Never Surrender" right under them as there was an old dirty harry looking magnum going into her pants. She walked into the store looking at the little pair at the cash register, "I hope you remembered to roll down the window" she said as she grabbed a bag of chips and a drink walking up to pay.

Cole had paid the cashier when an unfamiliar voice spoke to him, "I hope you remembered to roll down the window". Cole glanced at her then out the store window to the car. He chuckled, for the first time in a long time he actually displayed an emotion other than anger. "He should be fine, hopefully he ain't a mouth breather. That bike yours? It's nice", He usually didn't talk much with Regulars unless he had to but this one seemed alright, after all she did manage to make him laugh a little.

Cole exited the store but not before checking her out one last time, "Nice tattoos by the way, lovin' the gun" was the last thing he said before walking away and entering his car. He looked over to his new partner and with his usual sullen look said, "Alright listen up, last time I had a group shit got bad so before you assume we're good pals think of the next couple days as probation. If you survive by then your in, if not..if you give us away, sell me out, or slow me down I'll kill you myself. Got it? First question, what's your gift? Second, how long have you been on the run? Third, what's your name? And fourth...what do you think of tats in there? She a hunter? She mentioned you in the store".

Miller Anderson

Sitting down on his car, trying to turn up the radio, he accidentally broke the handle, and in panic, quickly tried to prod it back. All of a sudden a lady with a lot tattoos is a LOT of places. She then turned to him, without wearing any eye protectors, with her different eye colors.
Heterochromia... or she has the gift. Probably the latter. he uttered to himself. She met his gaze and smiled, doing a two finger salute. "Anndd kinda cute too." he said to himself while blushing.

Observing them, she got into the store and she started chatting with the other Gifted. Seeing the sullen, other gifted laugh, made him quite suprised, "So mister sourball can laugh too huh." he thought. He suddenly snapped his gaze to Miller's and made his face sullen again, walking up to him and asking him a series' of questions too fast.

"Alright listen up, last time I had a group shit got bad so before you assume we're good pals think of the next couple days as probation. If you survive by then your in, if not..if you give us away, sell me out, or slow me down I'll kill you myself. Got it? First question, what's your gift? Second, how long have you been on the run? Third, what's your name? And fourth...what do you think of tats in there? She a hunter? She mentioned you in the store"

"Whoa, Whoa, slow down for a second, I'll answer your questions, but slow down a bit. We're not gonna miss a bus or anything." he said while gesturing him to slow down.

"Well to answer your questions properly, I won't do any of those things you're accusing me of, you're one of the few Gifted that I've met in months."

"My gift, huh, I've got the basic gist of it." Miller said while proceeding to touch his arm, "I can transmit my thoughts to you directly, I can also read em. I can do this over a distance but gives me a headache if I do it for too long. and today I found out that I COULD look at memories if I have direct contact, though I didn't pick the order... Sorry about your sister, by the way."

"Now back to normal talking, cause' using my gift does put stress on my brain, no clue why. Anyway, My name is Miller Anderson and i've been in the run for over a year now." he said and catches his breath, too much talking.

"Finally, about that 'tats', whom you so delicately named, I think she's a gifted, she looked at me without eye protectors or anything, one of her eyes were pure white while the other was pitch black." Miller's replied to his last question.

"If anything, we should ask her and maybe try to get her along with it, the idea, I am not sure entirely sure how."

Damien looked at the girl before his leftovers, that were on the table that was from his meal at breakfast. He sighed before he began collecting them and made a note to make something out of them. He motioned her to sit before he went to his fridge and put away his bread that he bought, only taking two crissounts out to make something for the girl, explaining while he did.

"My name is Damien, sorry for the awkward introduction but you looked terrible and you are a mutant as well. You were kinda sticking out like a sore thumb and I didn't want you to get caught for not being able to take care of yourself. Especially in your situation, nobody would know how to deal with it, so I decided to help. Again sorry if this is weird, but also word is going around that hunters are in town so you would of been found eventually this week."

He sighed as he briefly pushed aside the blinds to look outside before continuing his task. He kind of ignored the girl as he was making her food, which was an croissant sandwich, consisting of the bread, egg and some slices of bacon. It wasn't that hard, as he buttered the cresent shaped bread that he had cut in half and slightly toasted the bread, making it warm and slightly crunchy without burning it. At the same time he cooked the eggs that would later go on the sandwich, and warmed up the bacon as well. When he was done, he pulled out a plate before asembelling the sandwich on it, and presented to the girl.

"Sorry, I wasn't expecting guests but its what I can do with what I have right now, so sorry. Anyway, what's your name? I already told you mine, so I hope you don't mind telling me"

He said before pulling a towel out of his drawers and set it down on the counter and flipped a switch before he sat down across from her with two cups in his hand and juice in another. He gave a cup to her before filled it with orange juice and did the same with his cup before grabbing a book that was discarded on the table. He was half-way through the book, which seemed to been read many times either by him or by other people but it wasn't clear.

"Also if you want you can take a shower after your done eating, but Im not sure if you would want to due to you not having spare clothes, if you we could go shopping latter, after we do something about your eyes. I believe that I have spare pink contacts but if you dont want to use it you don't have to."

He said, his eyes rising up from his book, and left his seat going to his kitchen and dug through his drawers before he pulled out a flat capsule. Putting it on the table for the girl if she wanted it or not.
