Karn
Fiore || On the way to Mt. Hakobe village
Interacting: Mithera, Melina, Zenoram/Zero
Karn listened to the sickly dragonslayer before blinking as Ru was mentioned, causing the blonde to smile brightly.
"Yup! Ru is really smart. He's a Chimera and he's lived for quite a long time. He knows quite a lot about creatures like dragons, hydras, unicorns and such. He taught me how to hunt and a lot about how to survive in the wild. He also had many stories. People think he's scary but he's really nice. It be nice if you could meet him someday." Karn explained, a soft smile on his face as he lovingly thought of the beast like a parent.
Before chuckling a little as Zero complained about his weakness and smiled a little.
"Well that's what friends are for! Everyone has a weakness. If you can find someone to count on, then that will make you stronger. Me and Mithera might not trigger your sickness because your so used to riding Hemlock. So maybe its just none living moving things that bothers you?" he suggested before blinking a little as Damian came closer and Zero spoke.
Karn kept forgetting, that not everyone just already realized a Dragonslayer when they saw one. The blonde's sense of smell notified him, simply because Ru sort of had that dragon smell as well. But normal people don't have those senses. He needed to remember that.
As Zero pulled him closer to whisper, Damian promptly pushed them apart and scolded them for keeping secrets. Karn tilted his head to the side a little as he listened, glancing to Zero who would probably get upset before looking to the taller higher class wizard.
"Everyone has secrets. It doesn't mean we don't trust you, it just means we aren't ready. I'm sure not everyone in the Guild knows everything about everyone in the Guild. Doesn't mean we should push them into telling everything. Because I trust them enough to let them take their time and if they need a shoulder to cry on then I'll be there. Guildmate or not. Anyone deserves to have that. I would tell you, but I promised to keep quiet and I keep promises to my friends." Karn said with a warm smile though it turned into a frown at the mention of 'kill' and his emerald eyes saddened.
"You shouldn't be ready to kill anything, especially before knowing anything. Preparing for a fight or to defend sure, but not kill. Every person, animal, beast has a side to their story. So we should be ready to go and talk with the villagers that sent the request then investigate to see if it's true. For all we know, it could be just a big misunderstanding. It could be Ru and if I wasnt here to talk in his defense, you would just kill him like everyone else? That's just cruel. I know we're new, but a little trust in us wouldn't hurt either... But I am sorry for keeping it all from you. But a promise is a promise." Karn said. He wasn't angry. He was just sad. Because he was afraid of people like Damian who didn't seem to understand.
Hemlock at least could talk. Ru couldn't. Karn understood because he basically was raised by the Chimera and understood his tongue. Damian didn't. Probably never met a Chimera. It made him shiver... To think it was possible for someone of the Guild to go on a job and end up bringing back Ru's pelt.
...he was unsure if he would ever be able to forgive them. He didn't know what he would do. But, he trusted that no one would actually do that. Yet... As long as it was in the job, did they care? No he shouldn't think so negatively.
So much so, that he felt tears well in his emerald eyes before he realized and he quickly wiped at them, knowing he had to keep his emotions under control. It was then his emerald eyes snapped wide open, sensitive nose twitching as he sniffed the air. A familiar rustic like scent wafted into his nose that instinctevly sent shivers down his bare spine.
Blood.
Turning his eyes toward the forest where the two females went, he frowned, feeling conflicted. He was told not to follow, but the smell of blood was heavy, so heavy it made his mind whirl and instincts roar. Smiling to the others, as if nothing happened, he hummed.
"I'm going to go check on the girls. Make sure they are okay." Karn said cheerfully, like nothing was wrong, though Zero probably will pick it up once he feels a bit better. Karn wasn't sure if there was really something wrong, or it was just some system the two girls had. Since after all one of them smelled constantly of blood. But this smelled like Mithera.
Not bothering to put on any clothes, he transformed into his cat for, and bolted into the forest. Bounding along and weaving around tries, the scent of blood growing stronger, he slowed his pace as his ears perked and transformed back into a human. Walking through the forest, bare feet feeling the soil underneath him before he came upon the source of the strong smell of blood.
"Mythy? Blood Mary? I know you told me not to follow but I was a little worried." he called softly.
Prince
Fiore || Magnolia || Phoenix Wing Guild
Interacting: Ariel, Trinity, Elyse Listening to the Guild Master, Prince hummed a little at the slight hesitance Jamie had in sharing the information about Karn. Interesting, at least they seemed like they cared about the boy. And they were cautious over him rather than being blatantly naive and just letting anyone who asked give Karn away. But before the tall man could reply, knocking of the door drew Jamie's attention and the feline like man couldn't help but chuckle.
"Phoenix Wing is sure popular indeed." Prince mused before blinking as that girl who was speaking to the strange fella with the little girl got on a table and reached up.
Feeling the rubbing on his ears, Prince's carefree smiling face twisted into one of shock. Face turning a beat red as his entire body trembled at the sensational touch, tail twitching and proofing up into a fluffy red fur. Despite his reaction, he somehow managed to keep calm, and stutter over his instinctive loud purring. Gingerly reaching and gripping his attackers hands and pulling them away from his ears.
"Awe b-beautiful Madame! I-I realize my ears are the most attractive part of me, but they are quite sensitive to rubbing. Unless you're actually going for a intimate approach." he grinned as he calmed down before looking to a little blonde girl and smiling brightly.
Scooping her up into his arms and holding her in his left arm.
"Well hello pretty lady! How are you doing this fine lovely day? Making friends with all the Guildmates here like these two lovely ladies?" the feline man chirped as he noted to both Trinity and Ariel
