It's an encroachment on what Shima prides itself on; neutrality. Seeing their home being assimilated is kind of like revoking their right to choose where they stand, so Tetsuya's not a fan. :3


Then we should talk to Shima about standing up and taking the reigns, unifying this land under one banner.

But that's the thing, he's for neutrality. He'd rather do his own thing, as well as Shima do its own thing, than try to control or be controlled by anyone else. :p

Well there's an unknown group ahead of them, they don't have time to question each other and it doesn't look good in front of the guide who is risking his life just by being with us. Gin joined you so you have something to go off of but Jiang is concerned with survival. He asked Gin to watch after Takumi because in his eyes, he is the best one at doing that. Physically the strongest, Oni genes means that he can shrug off attacks and kill anyone who may have caught him off guard. I know you may have thought it was him being dismissive of Gin or the race but he was honestly putting all of his trust in Gin to carry out the most important task of protecting the most important person in the group.

Wait, Jiang wasn't saying that he should stay behind where he was. He was saying that he should stay behind them and move together. "Stay near him as we move forward." Keep the important person behind them as the others move forward. He just asked him to stick to Takumi as they move. Like you have your first line of defense, if these people attack and get past that then they still have to get past Gin to hurt Takumi. As of right now, Jiang is beside Takumi and suggesting that you all go forward with them right behind you.

I think the only person in this group that Baji could take right now is Kenji. I don't include Takumi and Metou as eligible combatants though.

All good, still gives them something to work with. If you're ever unsure of what I mean though you can either have Yuudai ask IC or ask me OOC.
