Sorry for the somewhat short posts. Not much to post when my character doesn't really fight, haha.

Haha, sorry I was in bed, otherwise I would of jumped on the change. Quite an interesting run of musical chairs I missed out on! If you don't mind some more waiting, I can definitely make a post within the next few hours, though I'll be away from my computer after I type this up, you won't need to wait over six hours or something like that.

So if you want to switch it to me again, you'll get the post to move us forward definitely soon. Besides that we can still wait for @HaltingBlooper to type up some android goodness.

Also @CorruptedShadow You wrote Kota off as a different character name, that's happened to me before, but you might want to change that when you get a chance.

If you hadn’t guessed, Vanina was originally named from the vanilla plant, although people often think that her name actually refers to the banana fruit, which would coincidentally match up with the theme that Frieza’s soldiers are named after fruit.

Also, the Vanassian naming convention has Van used firstly as reference to their planet and race, followed by a given name of their parent’s choice. In cases where one would be with family or very close friends, she would only be called Ina, but around superiors and the general public her full name is used.

Race: Giras (( Hey, i figured it would be a nice choice xp since it is a canon race and nobody picked it, plus i think they're totaly underrated xp ))
Fighting Style: A mix between professional wrestling and the fictional Mishima Style Fighting Karate.
Abilities:

Enhanced physical strength: Improved strength over regular human beings.

Merry-go-round gum: a regular ability which all giras possess is to produce a sticky and durable gum like substance named merry go round gum which can be used to tie and bind opponents, making them vulnerable to assault and can only be broken via ones strength own strength or an incredibly powerful blast of ki such as via a kamehameha.

Flight: Using a set of wings, Gelato is able to fly, lacking the ability to fly using ki yet.

Appearance: Gelato takes the standard shape of a bulky slightly rotund Giras, and supports a set of small spiked horns along his wrists and neck. along with a standard horn upon his snout. His main colour scheme is also radically different from a regular Giras, suffering from Albinism which gives his frontal body colour a pure white pigment (rather than green), but does not suffer from having a red eye colour, and instead possesses dark brown chocolate coloured eyes, his back colour, instead of being a dark blue is instead a lightish pink, his claws are also a bright light yellow colour.

When not in a fight, Gelato wears a miniature tiny black tophat upon his head and a chefs jacket around his chest area, which only covers his chest, due to size issues.

Biography:

Normally all Giras are raised in their tribe and live among each other till the end of their days, however as an egg, Gelato was carried off by predators and was going to end up being killed off before he was born, it was only lucky that hunters, seeking to get a big meal were able to stop his egg from being devoured, and was unintentionally saved as the hunters also, along with taking the beasts carcass, took the eggs to cook as well. Had he been a second too late, he might have ended up served on a plate, as he unconsciously struggled in his own egg before being ready, surprising the human hunters as Gelato broke from his egg, alive and well.

The humans turned out to luckily not be sadistic monsters, and didn't kill Gelato, instead deciding to raise him, which unintentionally became a problem during the Giras' early life, due to his tendency to be picked on for his albinism, and his uncontrollable tantrums from being pushed around, causing Gelato to lash out violently at others. It came to a point where he would have to be schooled by a tutor, which proved to be a costly decision, and so, under the noses of his parents, secretly brawled illegally, stole and took dangerous jobs as a teenager to pay for the tutoring himself, feeling guilty for what his father and mother would have to go through. The constant fighting, and jobs helped to pay for his learning, and also helped improve himself as a fighter, however it wouldn't take long for his parents to find out about his fighting habits, but luckily not his thievery.

Gelato was forbidden from fighting claiming it promoted his violent tendencies, however this would only see him lash out more, until a certain man approached him, Leonardo Valentine, A professional fighter and trainer, interested in teaching self defence, having never seen a Giras before, he claimed it would not only be beneficial to Gelato, but a challenge for himself to train the beast, being able to persuade his parents that this would help to improve his strength, make him stronger and help him release any pent up anger brewing within him. After enough persuading which took days to go through, his parents gave up at saying no, and allowed him to train with Valentine, helping to train him in the use of Professional Wrestling techniques and foreign unforeseen quick and powerful fighting moves Gelato had never seen before.

To make a long story short, Gelato studied with Leonardo and continued his learning studies at the same time, helping to improve and enhance his fighting prowess, and make him a better fighter, with each loss, he would get closer to improving himself, and that was all the determination the Giras would need, taking in skills from his parents as well such as cooking, and maintaining himself, he was able to be taught in all the correct places, and left his home two years later to follow Valentine and continue his training at age 22, becoming more independent as a result.

With more improvements having come, and hearing about the new tournament coming up, Gelato couldn't hold himself back from wanting to compete, it would be a great way for him to get stronger, whether he wins or loses, though he wouldn't mind wining, but that would depend on his opponents power... What would be waiting for him would be a mystery.

Honestly, if anyone wanted to make a Giran type character or an animal person I’d be fine with it considering they’re races that have been established on earth.
