After eating all of that delicious, scrumptious food, I felt my teammates leave one-by-one, other than the scraggy. I turned towards him as he sat there, and I said "Bye-bye. Have good night!" and I then scuttled off to my room, or my team's room, rather. I ran about for a while, eventually going outside and speeding off throughout the town, restless. Never before had I eaten that much food, other than every night for the past few weeks. I ran into the forest, immediately coming upon a snivy. Suddenly, I felt something slap against my face, like a vine. "Vine whip?" I ask, using Leech Life and having the pain slowly go away. I then use Harden after he hits me again, with vines. I used Leech Life once more, and I could feel the coward sprint from the fight once he realized that I was just going to leech life and get most of whatever he took off back. I went back to the guild, a little less restless, and I walked into the rooms and rested on the floor, slowly going to sleep.

“Thanks,” I say to Levita as I leave with a cheery smile. “You too!” I manage to find our team’s room relatively quickly, mostly due to experience with hallways back home, and pick up my scarf as I sit down on the lump of hay that constitutes my bed. The scarf was never really fitted to someone as small as a Ralts, so it’s actually pretty big if it’s not folded up so much like it usually is. It’s almost big enough to be used as a blanket, but despite the fact that it isn’t, it feels nice to unfold it and hug it like one anyways. Ready to go to sleep, I close my eyes, and feel like I’m ready to drift off…

Drift off…

DRIFT. OFF...

I realize that a pile of straw isn’t really the most comfortable thing in the world to sleep on. Especially with the luxurious bedding I’m used to. Or maybe I’m just really anxious about what’s going to happen tomorrow. I’m known to do that quite often, actually. Like that one time when Dad said he’d be having foreign diplomats over for dinner tomorrow, and I kept bugging Leon about which way the forks were supposed to go when we were done eating, and it was all at two in the morning. Mom and Dad had a long talk with me after that happened… Yeah, I’m probably just anxious.

I should probably do something more productive instead of complaining to myself about the cheap beds… I think as I get out of the bed and grab my notebook and a spare pencil. I try to think of something to draw, but there’s nothing that’s both interesting and wouldn’t keep me up until tomorrow night trying to finish. I decide to start a little journal… diary… thing. It’ll be nice to have some sort of record of day-to-day events either way, so I don’t have to try and remember them myself.

‘Day One’ I write, deciding to start with the date of our team’s formation. ‘I think I just might have made the right decision: Not only did I find a home here at the guild, everyone’s so nice here. You can literally bump into someone on the street and find a new friend in them. That’s how I met my teammate Levita, actually. She’s really calm and collected while still being compassionate, and kind of cute in a balloon-y sort of way. I guess not everyone’s really nice, though, because there was this very grumpy Vanillite who claimed a whole room to himself, but even then, Scraps was willing to let us stay at his room for a while. Everything here has this weird way of balancing out’

I don’t have time to finish or punctuate that statement when the door opens, and I close the book and hide the pencil in my bag again almost on reflex. Thankfully, it’s just that Nincada again, though he looks a little more scruffy than he did before at the cafeteria…

“Oh, hi there,” I say to him nervously. “Mister… Sir... Um… I don’t think I ever got your name, actually.” I yawn slowly, tired and not sure what to think of the little guy.

With the mission over, Celes walked to her room, tired, eating a couple of berries from her bag before going to sleep. She didn't care that they missed dinner. This day had been too annoying to even give her enough hunger. She never wanted to stay with a client like that ever again. She breath deeply before drifting off to sleep, dreaming. Images of the pass that didn't seem like hers... images of pokemons walking around in a strange village. That is until a strange darness started to form near the village, with pokemons running for their lives. Celes tried to see what it was, only to see the form of a blade in front of her as the vision faded and went on with normal dreams, dreams of happy times, with her family. It then made her think about what her mother told her... all this time she had her real mother guard her... but why didn't she ever tell her... why keep her in the dark about it.

She just didn't know.

----------------------------------------------------------

Eralion woke up the next morning slowly, and stretched, only to see everyone else awake. He looked around a bit. He was use to be the last one to wake up usually... so this was really new to him. He sat down and breath deeply, before getting up and then doing some stretches. He breath deeply and looks at his team. Tini... he was one strange dratini, and full of energy, but very... let's just say strange and keep it at that. Bonnie.... she seemed to have gotten a lot of things happen in her past. Problems with her father, and listening to how she was saying it, it seemed like he did something unforgiving. He didn't know anything about her mother though.
William... well theres one part he didn't quite understand. He seems to be able to use transform and even change into... very interesting transformations. And being a smeargle, he had a lot of moves he could learn and do. His past though was a mystery for him... same for that treecko Samuel. He breath deeply. All in good times. He sat in the corner, waiting for his team to wake up.

Kamina

Yet another day full of exciting adventure had come to an end. So Kamina retired to his bed...only to quickly realize that his bed had been made with a Magikarp in mind "oh yeah...I forgot all about that. Huh. Oh well, this is still better conditions then back in the ocean" With his old bed now a pillow, Kamina drifted off to sleep. His dream filled with excitement and adventure...also explosions, can't forget about the explosions. I mean, there was a lot of them after all

---
Tini

Tini woke up as fast as he had gotten to sleep "yay! I'm awake!" He cheered as he sprung up wide awake. Taking quick stock of his surroundings, he saw that only Eralion was awake right now "hi new friend!" Tini greeted him with a wave from his tail tip. His greeting completed, he took another quick look at his surroundings. Then he spotted the sleeping Bonnie, and his little brain switched on 'didn't she need hugs yesterday? What am I talking about, everyone need hugs. Silly brain'

'Oh no, this is all you. I don't have anything to do with it' his brain replied

'You're so silly brain. Still, I think I might remember something about Bonnie needing extra hugs...who was that? Oh well, it doesn't really matter right now. What does matter is that she gets those hugs.' Feeling determined, Tini made his way over to Bonnie and started to cuddle her

How long since I joined this team? A week? Several days? Felt like forever, to be honest.

I had gone through so much shit within that time. First I find out Davis is some ungrateful asshole, then we get caught up in a fight against Desia. Not even that and already I was on the verge of being a psychopath. In the end, I just wanted to go to bed. I didn't need to care anymore. I had new friends, a job (that pays well), and I was content with my life. Letting go of the past is sometimes the only option.

Yet, something still bothered me. Just a nagging feeling. Even when bleeding on eons old tiles, I still think about what is bothering me. "Spruce, hey-" Before I could say anything, Spruce had left the lobby. Celes had already departed to her cabin, as well as Kamina (who snaked through the corridor). For some reason, I felt... a rumbling. Empty, in fact.

I was hungry. I was never hungry. Food was the first thing that popped up in my mind. I was going through some weird change as of lately, but I had never bothered asking anyone about it. At least I didn't seem to change dramatically - hand behind me was still there, but my magnets had stopped twitching. I thought about a wild hypothesis while strolling towards the dinner room, considerably less packed than it was 10 minutes ago. Is this change... a manifestation of my anger and evil? While I wasn't sure, it did have a reasonable amount of credit to it - these changes seemed to come up when my emotions flared up.

But, then again, I didn't want to care. If was content with my life, surely this would stop or even reverse. I felt like smiling to myself, still wondering how I'd get that bowl of berries inside me. Oh well, here comes smashing them against my eye...

Everything became blurry from that point. I remember I ate a lot of purple berries, which seemed to have been picked by some dubious kid Pokemon. What did I do? I had no idea. I did remember slamming into bed by all the others, so I guess it wasn't so bad.

"You can't save her."
"She's gone."
"You'll never find her."
Those three phrases echoed through Josh's head. He looked around, trying to find the source of the voices, but it was pitch black, and the voices seemed to be coming from multiple directions at once. He tried to get away, but the voice was just as loud as it was before.

Josh opened his eyes to find that he was lying on the ground in a puddle of water. Somehow, he managed to overturn the bucket in his sleep. Thankfully, Matt was already awake at this point.
"Having nightmares again, are we?" He said, picking up Josh's bucket. "I'll go refill this for you. Just sit tight for a moment."
Matt then left the room, leaving Josh with Xeno. He couldn't tell if Xeno was asleep or not. His eyes were still open, but he wasn't sure if Sableye slept with their eyes open. For all he knew they might not even sleep at all.

Before long, Matt returned and put Josh back in the bucket, which was now full of water once again. As they both went out to eat breakfast, Josh began to think about the nightmare he just had. "You can't save her", "She's gone", "You'll never find her". He knew that voice was referring to Kiera. She could be alive, dead, or worse, and he didn't know. He hoped that he would find her soon, or at least find out what happened to her.

Slowly, Xeno's consciousness began returning to him as his eyes once more began to process the images before them. Feeling groggy and somewhat confused, he had begun going over the ridiculousness of the dream he'd had last night. A world beyond the caverns; preposterous , he mused, grinning slightly as he pushed himself to sit so he could claw at his eyes (the sableye equivalent of rubbing the sleep from them). The first thing Xeno became aware of was the light filtering through a window on the opposite end of the room, then the neatly arranged elevated areas and piles of material he'd recalled pokemon resting on, and finally he put two and two together.

"Oh," the sableye breathed, allowing himself to flop sideways onto the ground. He hadn't been dreaming, though he certainly wished that was the case. But no- his home has nearly crushed him and his neighbors had wanted to hurt him, or worse. Now he was here, with those other pokemon; what were their names? Matt... John... and Aunty... he thought, spending only a moment trying to recall if those were correct. For now, it was good enough he supposed, and a quick glance around the sleeping quarters revealed none of them were present. There were a few pokemon here still but none of them were who Xeno was looking for, so feeling more than a little anxious the sableye crawled off on his own.

The first place he found himself was outside, and a quick glance around revealed no familiar faces so he retreated back into the large dwelling. In a way it's many spaces reminded him of the caverns he knew so well, but they felt unnatural in how smooth everything was so he decided against crawling on the walls for now. Feeling somewhat purposeful, Xeno hurried around the next corner in hopes that if he retraced his steps from yesterday he might find someone. So after passing the sleeping area once more he followed the hallway that led back to where they'd magically been transported the other day. Then, low and behold, Aunty the Goomy was standing in front of the entrance to another area of the building with a pokemon that could float like Matt.

"Aunth- um- you," Xeno called out, rushing over on all fours like he was afraid the Goomy would run off, even though it wasn't really capable. "Oh good, I found you; this dwelling is confusing to navigate," the sableye remarked as he drew closer, slowing down and transitioning to his hind legs only. Upon drawing nearer he became more aware of the other pokemon's presence, and looked up towards it with a slight air of confusion. "Are you another that I need to remember?" Xeno asked the driffloon, scratching the back of his neck as he continued to look upwards in order to make eye contact.

[Spruce]

I woke up to an odd sound, a clanking sound, from nearby... as in, the next room over. I rushed over to the sound thinking that it might be an intruder, and notice a strange water type pokemon on the ground, with a reuniclus nearby. Wait, no, I knew these pokemon... Joe, right, and Marty? There were also a couple of unfamiliar pokemon as well. A starly, and a, erm, vanillite? I had already rushed into the room, and probably looked like I was spacing out, so, I ended up finally saying something "Um... hello? I, um, heard something fall onto the floor, something heavy. I didn't know our rooms were so close to each other. Joe, right? From Beach Cave?" I really hoped I didn't mess anything up, but, to be honest, it's been a while since I've seen, well, anyone from that group. The goomy whose name I couldn't recall wasn't present. Either this meant that they kicked him off the team, or he just wasn't here at the moment. I wouldn't be surprised if that goomy ran off and stole from someone. He WAS an outlaw before all of this, after all. The room, itself seemed somewhat cleaner than my team's room was, which was weird, considering the fact that they had at least one slime-based pokemon on their team, and sleeping in that room.

[Anthony]

Levita, as I learned her name was, and I talked through the night, which was fine, I wasn't exactly tired, and I was sure the guild would provide a chesto berry for me if they noticed I was dragging my non-existent feet, or falling asleep during the morning chant thing. Funny thing, nobody ever seems to actually go to that, anymore. Sure, the newer teams wouldn't miss a single one, but after a while, they'd just head right off to whatever job they were doing. I guess the reason for that was that, unlike Wally's guild, we didn't have any sort of loud pokemon to wake us up for that exact chant. "Hey, Levita... I was just sort of wondering something, but, do you think that our guild got the reputation for being undisciplined because almost none of us go to that dumb morning chant?" She seemed new, so she probably didn't know, but unfortunately, the question just sort of found its way out of my mouth before I really thought it over. Maybe I really was tired. Again, though, the guild will probably give me a chesto berry when they find me like this. Out of almost nowhere, Xeno showed up, and asked if he was supposed to remember Levita. He was already having trouble remembering my name calling me 'Aunth-something' I chuckle a little, and say "Good morning, Xeno, and sure, she's Levita, a newer member at the guild. Also, the name's Anthony," I then look back at Levita, wondering where the rest of her team ran off to. I was almost certain that they fell asleep at some point, and considering where we were, they'd probably find us soon enough. I then notice a female nidoran with an odd, shining necklace. Static woke up at that, and seemed to be trying to fight his way out of my bag until I opened it for him. "The light orb! She has it! We have to take it from her!" Static shouts almost as soon as he shows himself. "Uh... that's Static. He's kind of a part of some important mission I'm on," I then say to Levita in an effort to make Static's sudden interruption a bit less rude.

[Bonnie]

I finally woke up from my sleep and notice Tini uncomfortably close to me. I scream almost by accident, and almost fling him off of me. "Oh no... sorry Tini, it's just... well... sorry!" I say to him afterwards, hoping that I didn't convince him that I'm some sort of evil pokemon, or something. Eralion was sitting in the corner for some reason, awake, though Samuel and William were still sleeping for whatever reason. That was pretty bad. I just hope he doesn't take my screaming the wrong way. I just don't like it when other pokemon get that close. I always think they're going to attack me or something... maybe I should try to stop that. These are my friends, or at least, my allies, they're never going to attack me. I think as I start heading towards the mission boards. The walk there was littered with other pokemon awake and ready to take missions, as well as Larry shouting at... whoever that diglett sentry was. I never really got his name. Apparently, a belsprout, a camerupt and a ponyta were all visiting the guild from wherever the heck they came from. Larry let the team in, and I finally got a look at the boards. A familiar-looking bidoof was seen on a 'lost pokemon' poster. That same bidoof that took the mission to find and arrest my father. No... he didn't... I think before tearing off the mission and racing back to my team's rooms. I show them the mission, and remind them "That's the bidoof that tried to take down my father. I... I think... well... look, if there's even the slightest chance we can get him out of there, we have to do that. NOW. He won't last long in there,"

[Nina]

Apparently, the guild was already closed by the time that my mother and I got there, so we had to stay outside for a night. Honestly, though, it was still more comfortable than the bed at her house. Of course, I'd never say that to her. Not directly anyways. Either way, after a seemingly short night, the guild opens up, and I yawn as I wake up, the sunrise looking even better than it did yesterday, with the usual oranges, and reds, though, the clouds were covering the sun, a little bit, which only made them look orange or red, rather than actually cover the sun, itself. My mother was still asleep for some reason, so I used double kick on her to wake her up. I knew it wouldn't actually hurt her, so, I didn't hold back. She woke up after the second kick, and started mumbling something about the light orb, which just made me roll my eyes. "Yes, please go back to the swamp, the orb needs you. Who knows who could have tried to steal it by now," I say in an almost sarcastic tone to her. I then take a few steps towards the guild, and end up getting stopped by a couple of pokemon. More specifically, a gurdurr, and a machoke. "And who might you be, nidoran?" the machoke asks me, with me answering "I'm Nina, and I'm going to be a new apprentice at the guild, whether you like it or not," the two laugh, but move out of the way, with the gurdurr saying "Yeah, you sure have the bravery of an explorer. You'll fit right in here, missy," I decide against glaring at them, and simply enter the guild, that is, after they unlock the front door.

Once inside, I was almost overcome with the sheer number of pokemon that were just generally milling about the place. I passed by a drifloon, and a goomy who were talking to each other. Maybe they were a part of the same team, or something. I didn't pay attention to what they were saying until a pichu popped his head out of the goomy's bag, and shouted something about my necklace being the light orb. "What!? Are you insane? Why the heck would I have something like that?" I shout back to the pichu, who jumps out of the bag, and says "No. I am never wrong about an orb's location, and you have one. It's around your neck, isn't it? Are you the guardian of the light orb?" I shake my head, and step away from the pichu. Did he really want to steal my necklace because he thought it was the light orb? Thank goodness I got my mother to get back to guarding the real thing, then, if thieves were about and hiding in explorer's bags. I then overhear the goomy say something about the pichu "Uh... that's Static. He's kind of a part of some important mission I'm on," that confirmed it, then. They were thieves, and trying to throw this world into ruin by stealing the orbs of balance. I wouldn't have any of that, so I started running off, however, that proved itself to be impossible, as Static was faster than I was, and quickly blocked my way towards the guildmaster's office. "Give us the orb," Static put bluntly. "Never!" I shout back at him. I would have told him that this wasn't actually the orb, but not only did I have a feeling that he wouldn't believe me, but it would be safer for the real orb if he actually thought this was it.

Celina woke up soon afterwards, hearing Spruce walking off to another room. She got up, and then stretched, before fallowing Spruce and seeing the familiar pokemons. She looked at the group and then breath deeply.
"Well... long time no see I guess." she says sleepy a bit. She looks at Joe and Marthy, slowly waking up. She didn't know what to think about them at the moment... She was too sleepy to even react that much. She saw that a certain goomy was not there with them. She didn't know where that goomy went, and to tell the truth, she didn't think too much about it.
"So.... what been happening lately?" she then asks sleepily, slowly waking up. God.... she should have just taken some of her soup right there to wake up before going to talk. This was a bit awkward for her at the moment.

-----------------

Eralion looked at Bonnie woke up and.... actually screamed hard and almost threw Tini away. He looked and then chuckles just slightly. Well... one thing for sure.... he might have reacted the same if a snake like pokemon would be this close to him when he wakes up. He walks to Tini slowly and.... then gives him a hug.
"Next time you might want to think before hugging someone in their sleep like that.... especially when they don't expect it." he then says before letting Tini down and then fallowing Bonnie as she heads towards the mission board. He listens to what Bonnie had to say and though about it just a bit.
"Alright... then I will help... if everyone else wants to help... though we will need to have a way to strike him by a element of surprised or something, cause it migth be bad to just attack head on." he then says.

I woke up quickly, shaking. I curled up into a ball, but I just felt so... cold... like an ice cube. I got up and saw Tini and Eralion hugging and Bonnie was out of the room for a second before she ran back in with a mission, telling everyone that a guild member, a bidoof, had gone to defeat her father. I shuddered out of fear for the bidoof. "Let's head off, then," I say, waking Samuel up and getting my stuff ready. I handed Bonnie an Oran Berry, and walked out. There were a lot of pokemon and a diglett that was being yelled at. I pushed past the crowd and walked outside. I waited for the team before heading off towards Sunswept Plains.
-Chip-
When I woke up, I thought I heard commotion, and when I went outside of our room, the only 'commotion' happening involved a pichu chasing a female nidoran. I scampered in their direction and said "No chase! Bad pokemon!" and I then began to scold both of them. "No running in morning time! Everybody asleep!" I say boldly. "You woke Chip because of run-chasing!" I chide. I then look at both of them. "What cause the run-chasing?" I asked, angry because my sleep was rudely interrupted.

Kamina

Today was his first full day as a Gyarados, and Kamina was going to make sure to enjoy it thoroughly "GOOD MORNING WORLD!!!" he cried out with his new set of lungs as he woke up. Now that both he and everyone else within hearing range was wide awake, he began to stretch out in his new body "yeah, this is going to take some getting used to...but it's still so awesome!" Noticing that M was the only one other then him left in their quarters, he moved to his side and said "rise and shine M my friend. There's a brand new shining day outside, just waiting for use to grab it! Come, let us go find Spruce and Celes so that we may begin today's adventures!"

---
Tini

Bonnie had nearly flung him away with a scream when she awoke to find him, that concerned Tini. Not because he almost got intimate with the wall (it couldn't hurt anymore then being tied to a boulder held up in the air by a very strong rope, and crashing into another boulder also held up in the air by a very strong rope when he failed to poke the second boulder to death), but because her first instinct upon seeing someone showing her affection was escape by throwing...this had to be fixed. After taking the time to enjoy a fuzzy hug from Eralion "yay! Fuzzy hugs!" He left in search of his cuddle fearing friend

He soon found her at the mission board. "Bonnie" Tini began, sounding uncharacteristically serious "you're sick in the brain. That's the only reason why anyone would respond to cuddles the way you did. I don't know who, why or even how, but someone hurt you. Someone who should have showered you in love and cuddles hurt you bad. Because of that, cuddles remind you of the hurt. Rest assured; whoever did this will taste fried justice" he said the last two words as he held aloft his trusty frying pan which may or may not have been there a second ago "but the bigger problem is fixing you, healing you. That is exactly what I intend to do. I will shower you with so many cuddles that it will eclipse the hurt in your heart. Maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow, maybe not even next week, but someday you will enjoy cuddles again!" he declared before wrapping around her in a tight but not painful hug

The sound of Josh knocking over the bucket seemed to have attracted the attention of a couple of Pokemon from the room next to theirs. They seemed familiar, but he couldn't quite remember where he'd seen them before.
"Um... hello? I, um, heard something fall onto the floor, something heavy. I didn't know our rooms were so close to each other. Joe, right? From Beach Cave?"
Now he remembered them. This was the team they were with when they first encountered Anthony and Martin. They didn't seem to remember his name, but to be honest, he didn't remember theirs too well, either.
"It's Josh, actually." Josh said. "And you're...uh...Sprout and Cecilia, right?"

He was pretty sure those names weren't right. It didn't really matter, though. If he was wrong, they would correct him.
"So, we were just about to-"
"GOOD MORNING WORLD!!!"
Josh was interrupted by an earth-shaking shout from next door. "...Well, that probably woke up everyone in the guild." He said. "So, anyway, we were just about to go down and get breakfast. Care to join us?"

“What do you mean, ‘we don’t have any coffee?’”

“I mean that we don’t have any coffee to make at the moment. Perhaps if there were more of a demand for coffee, we would have it in more often. If you need something to get through the day, we stock plenty of Chesto Berries on our breakfast menu.”

“Chesto Berries? You can’t listen to jazz while you eat a Chesto Berry…”

“I-I’m not aware of any jazz bands in town at the moment, at least not any that play at this hour…”

“... That’s a good point, actually… Thank you!”

I take the berry and nibble it absentmindedly as I exit the cafeteria and walk through the guild. I hadn’t really slept well, mostly on account of the beds. I should have brought over a pillow or something, now that I think about it. I bet if we had better beds, the efficiency of the guild would increase by at least ten percent… Does Levita have this problem, being all balloon-y and such? Does she even sleep? She either got up really early or never went to sleep at all, or otherwise I wouldn’t be out looking for her. Wait, if she was up all night, she might need a Chesto Berry, too…

One food trip later, I return to my previous location with another Chesto Berry. I guess these things really do get your day started. What’s even in these things, anyways? In my wandering, I eventually manage to find Levita, who seems to have found herself embroiled in what could be an epic conflict in the making! At least, I think that’s what it could be…

“Hi Levita,” I say in an admittedly strange blend of nonchalant enthusiasm. “How are you today? I didn't see you anywhere after I woke up; did you sleep at all last night? Just in case, I got you one of these Chesto Berries. Also, what’s up with the Macguffin? What’s it do?” I offer her the berry telekinetically, taking the opportunity to inspect the necklace in question around the Nidoran’s neck. Apparently, it’s some sort of “light orb”, so I guess it glows in the dark? Or maybe it’s just not very heavy? Neither of those seem very valuable, actually. I notice that the elusive and mysterious Nincada, Chip... is no longer elusive and mysterious! I smile, delighted that I've found the answer to one of the world's many conundrums.

For the whole night, Levita never seemed to grow tired; in fact, she was all the more energized during this time. During their night-long conversation, the Drifloon has learned of the Goomy's name - Anthony - and had completely forgotten about "asking" him. She was a bit surprised the gooey dragon Pokémon didn't fall asleep by now, and when he got onto the question of missing out of morning calls, Levita suddenly jumped up. Morning chant! I almost forgot about that! "Umm...from first impressions, the guild is pretty chaotic and wild, but I guess we have individuality over order," Levita replied after some thought. "I'm not advocating for any guild...they all have their pros and cons, but what really matters is getting through problems. As a team."

After finishing her explanation, she felt a presence...and turned to the Sableye nearby her. Ugh. These crystal-eyed dolls or something give me the creeps sometimes, she thought; she lightened up, however, when he greeted them. Anthony quickly introduced her for him, and she gave a friendly wave back. "Yes. Nice to meet you, Xeno," she greeted, stretching her arm strands. "Actually, I may have to go soon. My team is probably waking up by now, and I promised one of them that we'll be starting a mission today. I hope we'll-"

Suddenly a Pichu jumped out of Anthony's bags, which startled her. Arceus, what's with the Pokémon here? It's like they're all designed to murder me... Anthony introduced him as Static, who was currently rambling about some Light Orb that the female Nidoran had. "Important mission? Light Orb?" she repeated. The idea of them being some undercover agents or guardians of the world sounded improbable and humorous, and Levita moved away, hoping not to get involved in this drama.

But her fellow team members, who had just recently arrived on the scene, did get involved. And finally...the Nincada revealed his name! In a third-person style, though. He didn't seem to happy; Levita didn't believe the commotion was that loud, but then again, Nincadas, like many bug Pokemon, had profound senses of hearing, which would have made a bit of sense. Rebecca came to the scene as well and greeted her, and the balloon Pokémon glanced back at her.

"Um...I was out for the whole night. It's virtually impossible for me to sleep in the dark. Ghost, remember?" she replied. "Can't starve, can't die from dehydration, and I'm more active in the night. As for the Light Orb..." Levita floated toward the three and swiftly casted a Tailwind to blow the them back.

"Alright, we need to all calm down here. First of all, what is this Light Orb and Guardian whatever, and secondly, I doubt such legendary material is on a regular Nidoran like her. She doesn't even know what's going on, and I don't know what's going on, and can we talk like civilized Pokémon?"

Don't you like it when you go to bed and wake up without dreaming? Feels like time skipped and knew when to stop.

It was good to get up, albeit drowsily. Those berries seriously must've been those wild ones, 'cause I still felt somewhat sleepy. Either way, the sun was shining in my eyes... and for once, it wasn't blinding. It didn't even bother me - it was just a yellow orb in the clear blue sky it was, leaving thin streaks of radiant light which made the room quite bright.

And, I was hungry, a disturbing feeling of emptiness within myself. I was still used to these odd and new senses, and unfortunately I was no closer to finding out than I was several days ago. This adventure felt like months and even years have passed by, with odd intermissions from time to time.

Smiling and rising out of be-

Wait.

...

That wasn't white noise.

"Yeah, whatever Kamina." I grumbled, twisting my magnets when I realised I just kinda ignored him. Poor guy. How the hell did I miss the giant fish in the room? "Let me just follow my normal schedule. Includes adding your response to my post, 'cause I forgot."

There was a peculiar image of myself that I wasn't familiar with while inspecting the magnets. While the guild didn't provide us much aside from protection and bland cabins, they did provide some amenities - for example, a framed mirror on the wall with dried spots of water dotting it, obviously from previous inhabitants. It caused the illusion of making the room feel bigger-

Oh, for goodness sake. Brushing aside useless narrative and Kamina himself, I peeked in the mirror to see what was wrong with myself. And, there it was - a blue pupil in place of my old black one. Nothing too dramatic and I breathed out a sigh of relief, but that just left questions as to what the hell was going on with myself. I smudged my eyelid, the now-flexible metal of my magnets feeling like it was grinding against a sheet of... well, metal. "Has my eye always been blue? Bah, I got a schedule to stick to."

I left my room, hovering down the corridor and passing some rather talkative Pokemon. Just a normal day, though I ended up spiking upwards at a random scream. "Oh for fuck's sake." I mumbled, preferring not to get myself into some domestic abuse incident. This was a guild - they could handle themselves.

As soon as I opened the doors to the lobby, my supposed ears were compounded by sound after sound. It was busier than usual today, with several new applicants joining the guild. A Nido-something for one. I spent about 5 minutes looking around for Spruce and the others (they had left without me - and I forget about Kamina telling me about that), but afterwards I got bored and trailed back to my room. I steered clear away from that room with a scream, but I did get an attraction to another one.

Before going there, I went back to my room. Evidently, I left Kamina alone and sad. Well, less emphasis on sad. "Right, where to?" I sounded a bit bored and somewhat stern, though I was definitely in a better mood than I was yesterday.

[Spruce]

After the entire room shakes from Kamina waking up, I shake my head at the incorrect name and reply "No, actually, the name's Spruce, and she's Celes," Josh then asks if we were going to follow him to breakfast, and I shrug, saying "Well, I don't have anywhere else to go right now, so, sure," I then follow him past the already busy guild, and past a blue-eyed magnemite who kinda looked familiar, somehow. It didn't seem like he saw me, however, and he simply floated off to my team's room. I somehow got to the mess hall before Josh, and I wait for him, as well as Celes, for a little while until they finally get here, and I ask "So, what's up with Anthony? What'd he do to get kicked off your team?" I then recall a few others who are no longer in that room, a combee, who I think might have been named 'Vex', and something else that I can't remember. Of course, that combee was their leader, so, chances are that they didn't kick her off... unless she kicked THEM off, and they started a whole new team, one which eventually kicked Anthony off of the team for whatever reason. Anthony could have just woken up before everyone else, but he didn't really strike me as an early riser, though. I suppose whatever he did, he's an outlaw again, and probably either on the board, or turned in by his old teammates. That fight must have been fun to watch, with all of them mad at each other about Anthony getting kicked off of that team. I think as I wait for a response from Josh or Matt, leaning on the door frame as I also wait for them to go inside.

[Anthony]

Static and Nina, the new apprentice, were running around, with Nina trying and failing to get away from Static, who blocked her escape at every opportunity. "Static, stop! Why would an unevolved pokemon be in charge of something as important as an orb of balance, anyways?" He thinks for a moment, and eventually comes up with the solution of "To fool us, that's why. Besides, we're unevolved pokemon, and we've taken down a guardian before, so maybe she's like us, secretly powerful," Nina didn't seem to like the sound of that, and the others, as in, those who I assumed to be the rest of Levita's team, started crowding the area, and were all telling Static and or Nina to stop this right now. Nina said, in response to Static saying we've already beaten a guardian "W-what!? No! That's... impossible!" She seemed scared, which for some reason struck me as not in her character, at least, from what I've overheard from the guild guards. Nina, after looking at everyone, and trying and failing one last time to run off, uses double kick on Static, who didn't see it coming, and somehow took the hit, both of them. Static then responded to that with a laugh, and a use of his thunder wave, basically stopping Nina in her tracks. She probably couldn't talk at the moment, but she looked terrified, which again, didn't seem to fit what she said earlier. Maybe she's just afraid of being unable to move, of being stuck in one place, or something similar to that. Maybe she thought we were thieves, trying to destroy the planet with the power of these orbs... which reminds me, a ralts who wandered in on the scene seemed to ask what these orbs did, and since Nina couldn't talk, I answered for her, as well as for Static, "This orb is a part of a set of four, with this one representing the sub-type light. Every pokemon has a sub-type, most of whom, like myself and Static, have 'normal' as their sub-type. What these orbs do is keep these sub-types in balance, and prevent one or the other from taking over... just as well, they also control the power of all pokemon with that sub-type, so, if one was destroyed, say, the normal one, all pokemon with that sub-type would wither away and most likely die. The reason we need them is basically to perform some sort of repair job, as they seem to be losing their power, at least, according to Static, they are," I then turn my head towards Static, who was using thundershock on Nina. I figured it wouldn't do any good to shout at him to stop by now, as he's already ignored everyone.

[Nina]

Unfortunately, even the tailwind didn't seem to do much to deter Static the determined pichu. In fact, all it really did was make him angry at me. Thankfully, Static's own teammate shouted out "Static, stop! Why would an unevolved pokemon be in charge of something as important as an orb of balance, anyways?" I was relieved, as this might mean that he would at least think about letting me go, and he did, for a moment, which I saw as an opportunity to escape, however, apparently that was a mistake on my part because as soon as I did, Static ran back to block my way again, with an even angrier face. Static then answers with something that horrified me beyond belief, "To fool us, that's why. Besides, we're unevolved pokemon, and we've taken down a guardian before, so maybe she's like us, secretly powerful," No... that can't be. One of those orbs is ACTUALLY in danger now. This can't be happening, but... if this is true, then, why didn't I see any withering or dead pokemon on my way here? Why am I not withering away? Hm... maybe they started with the Shadow or Void orb, just so their deed might go unnoticed. I think before eventually saying "W-what!? No! That's... impossible!" That seemed to give the pichu a smug smirk on his face, which I thought might give me an opportunity for escape again, but, like last time, I was dead wrong. "Please, just listen to the others and STOP!" I then say before using double kick on Static, which had him retaliate with thunder wave, paralyzing me, and making it impossible for me to walk, let alone escape. This is the end, isn't it? The end of all pokemon... who'd have thought it would be a pichu that ends us all? I think as Anthony, the goomy who was trying to help me earlier, explains exactly what the orbs do to the other team. I tried to speak through my paralysis, however, I couldn't. All i could do was change the expression on my face to basically say 'Help me!'. I looked at the ralts as I did this, as she seemed like she'd be a bit more of a help than the drifloon, and I wasn't sure who the nincada was affiliated with.

[Bonnie]

As soon as I showed them the mission statement, it seemed like everyone was ready to go, and, in fact, William surprised me with his speed as he raced off towards my dad's old place, near Sunswept Plains. I follow him, and I had to assume Eralion and Tini would join us shortly, but as soon as we made it to the plains, themselves, I knew what I had to do. I had to point the team towards my old house, and, towards my father. I hesitated for a moment, and tried and failed to say anything about it until I walked halfway across the plains, and saw the old path. It was somewhat overgrown due to a lack of pokemon using it, but it was still visible. "Th...this way," I say to whomever was with us at the time. I then head down the path with all the memories flooding back to me. I was sweating, had a scared look on my face, and shivered with every step I took towards that horrible building which probably looked like a nice, expensive mansion to everyone else. To me, all it looked like were those memories, a hostile, evil place. One that I swore to never return to unless I was strong enough to beat my father. It seems like time has a funny way of making you break your own promises to yourself. Even so, it got harder to move on the closer I got to the building, and the closer I got to the building, the slower I moved, mainly out of fear, until I was behind everyone else. I then look around, as if I'd find some sort of secret stash, but really, I was just coming up with an excuse for my suddenly slow speed. "Uh... yeah, it's around here somewhere, my old stash of warp seeds, that is," I half-heartedly say to my teammates as I continue to 'search' for the 'warp seeds'.

“Oh,” I say to Levita, withdrawing the Chesto Berry and holding it in my hand. “I guess I’ll just eat it myself… actually, wait, no, that’s a bad idea… You still didn’t sleep all day, did you? Or do you not need to sleep at all? I’ll just save it for later.” I listen to what the Goomy has to say, wondering why I haven’t heard of something so ridiculously important as I think about what to do. I notice the Nidoran emanating a really intense feeling of despair towards me, and I use Confusion to move the Pichu slightly to the right, diverting his attack from the Nidoran, and Teleport between the two of them. I noticed that Levita's Tailwind move blew my hair around in a way that I thought was pretty cool, and I think I should tell her to do that more often later.

“Okay, okay,” I say to the two of them, trying desperately to keep a straight face and not break out laughing as I hold up both of my arms as a way of telling them to stop. “Let me try and shed some light on the possibilities here; what we all really need to do is… lighten up...” I snicker and grin at my puns before calming down myself. that should soften them up a bit, one way or another…

“All puns aside, though,” I reason, “There’s a lot of problems with this whole situation. First off, like Levita said, I highly doubt that this necklace is the real deal. If this Light Orb is really that important, then why would this lady here just waltz into a guild full of tough adventurers like us and just wear it around her neck like that? She’s either toting a fake, or she’s not very bright, and I highly doubt the latter. Also, Static, if you want to recharge these orbs or whatever, you should probably just slow down for a moment and try to reason with her instead of just trying to trap her here and take it from her. That’s kind of a jerkish thing to do.” I have to admit that this is still kind of confusing, though. But maybe if I manage to make everyone stop hitting each other, I can glean something more out of this...

I sensed them chase each other more, and I got angry. "WHAT DID CHIP JUST SAY TO YOU? NO. CHASING," I yell at the pichu and nidoran before the pichu attacks the nidoran. Levita immediately jumps in and tries to talk some sense into them, but peace is NOT the answer! Not for these type, anyway. I jump in and use sand attack on the pichu, who was probably going to win the fight if Rebecca and I hadn't jumped in. I listen to Rebecca and her lecture, and I look at the goomy. "Is he friend of yours? He not good friend. You should not be friends with bad pichu like him," I say to it before turning back and using Harden, just in case it was going to retaliate like it did with the nidoran.
-William-
I noticed Bonnie begin to get nervous as we got closer to the mansion. She mentioned something about a stash of warp seeds and I look around. "Well, maybe whoever owns that mansion found your warp seeds. Besides, if you hid it and you remembered it was somewhere around here, then you should be able to remember exactly where it was. Where was the last place you put them?" I ask, beginning to look with her. I felt like either the heat was getting to her, or she had something to do with the owner of the mansion, because she looked like she was sweating bullets. I was able to find a red gummi while I was searching, though, so that was a bonus.

Josh, Matt, Celes, and Spruce all went down to the mess hall together. Once they got there, Spruce stopped for a moment, asking what happened to Anthony. For some reason, he'd assumed that he was kicked off the team.
"Anthony never got kicked off the team. He just woke up before Matt and I did." Josh said. "He's probably looking for a mission for us to do or something."

They appeared to be serving Chesto Berries today. Josh and Matt each took one, and sat down at one of the tables.
"So, anyway, there's been a few changes to our team since the last time we ran into each other." Josh said. "Hex left the team a while back. I'm not sure where she went, though. We've also recruited a new teammate. A Sableye named Xeno."

Levita stopped and turned back to Anthony, nearly sputtering out in shock. The Goomy could say all he wants, but the idea is still there; the orbs were basically weapons of mass destruction. It sounded insane, but she doubted that he would intentionally make up stories, otherwise Static won't be so riled up about it.

As for Static and the Nidoran, she didn't feel like intervening, not when there's electricity involved. The Thundershock narrowly missed her, adding to her reluctance. "Hey, watch out there, Reb! I don't...do very well with discharges," she warned, moving away from the two. "And, you know, trying to attack a Nidoran possessing said so-called Light Orb isn't a very good idea if you're trying to preserve the balance of the world."

The balloon Pokémon sighed. "It's just a big misunderstanding, all right? How about we interrogate her, without bringing the whole place down, and see what is going on here? Where are the other orbs? And are there any particular big-bad villain who wants to possess that?" she asked Anthony again...hey, if there's weapons of mass destruction involved, there definitely is someone who wants it for their own benefit.
