Stretching, Rez curled over, mumbling something vaguely along the lines of "don-wanna, go-way" before snuggling back down into the mountain of blankets and pillows.

Dragging himself back up from sleep, Rez eventually woke up. Stretching up, he yawned, opening his eyes and looking round, slightly in shock. Where the hell was he? It took a few seconds of staring blankly at the roomful of books for Rez to remember what had happened. He groaned dropping his head in his hands, it still wasn't just a nightmare. Finally getting over that, he leapt up, Grabbing the book from the night before and reinstalling it in its place. Grumbling a little, he headed out of the library, wandering aimlessly until he stumbled across a scent that made his stomach growl. Following his nose to find the kitchen, he wandered into the main hall, seeing a head of vaguely familiar looking dark hair. Strolling over, Rez silently confirmed it was the same man he had challenged yesterday, and lost against. "Morning. Looking for the kitchen? I think it's this way," he gestured towards where the smell was coming from, the rumbling beast in his stomach agreeing with that statement. "Oh, I'm Rez by the way, I don't think I've introduced myself. Also, thank you for the game yesterday, sorry if it was a bit ……odd." He grinned then, happy and carefree, walking backwards in the direction he thought the kitchen was, not caring that he was still wearing the same rumpled clothes as the day before, nor that his white hair was sticking up, shooting off in every direction physically possible.@YamiCuoreLaroux

Kyo turned to the voice he heard with some slight surprise, not quite expecting to see the same male who had so suddenly asked for a game of card the other day. It made sense that he would still be here, of course, but his appearance in this particular place this early had caught him a bit off guard. Still, he nodded in response and took out his tablet to type. "Good morning, and yes, that is where I am headed. I hope that you slept well?" Honestly, he hadn't been too sure about that question, what with the appearance that he seemed to be sporting at the moment. It was already out there before he could take it back, though, so he continued and hoped that it would at least be ignored if it wasn't true. "I am Kyo. I cannot seem to remember whether or not I introduced myself either. I apologize for that rude error of mine, and it is nice to formally meet you." Since he seemed to be going off to the kitchen already, the silent male followed him, vaguely catching the scent of something cooking as he walked. It seemed that Rez did indeed know where he was going.

Rez grinned, "Oh I always look like this when I wake up, and yes I slept fine, don't really remember it, but I don't feel tired any more, sooo……" He was feeling talkative this morning. His hair would eventually stop mimicking a hedgehog, not that Rez cared, it could stay like that the whole day as far as he was concerned. He would change his clothes eventually, after breakfast, of course. All his spare gear was tucked away in the panniers on his motorbike, he'd left it there with the faint hope that this wouldn't take long, but he had vaguely known that that was just a wish.

Still walking backwards, he leapt up a small group of stairs, tripping backwards on the top one and landing on his backside with a small 'thump'. His face showed shock, almost comically, staying frozen for a few seconds before erupting into a fit of laughter. Sniggering he sprung up, still grinning like a loon.

"Hey I found this book in the library, this place is so big it even has a library and it's crammed full of books, anyway, there was this book with a picture of a dragon called Incognito, and it was going like this," He demonstrated, using the open flaps of his light blue hoodie to mimic the wings, wrapping his arms out in-front of him and ducking his head a little, peering at Kyo through a small gap. Giggling like a little kid he didn't see the wall, curtsy of going backwards, and so walked straight back into it.

"Oopps." he snickered, making the most of having no voice in his head.

The dark-eyed man could tell that something was definitely different with the boy this morning, though he thought that perhaps it was just because he might have been tired the day before as well. When Rez fell after climbing the short group of stairs, however, he started to worry slightly. The slight shock on his face had hardly worn off and he hadn't even finished typing to ask if he was hurt before the younger male had burst out laughing and jumped back up. Before Kyo had time to completely comprehend the scene in front of him, Rez had already started going on about a...hiding dragon in a book...complete with a demonstration of exactly how it hid using his hoodie...

...which, of course, ended with him crashing backwards into something else.

Now questioning whether he was being affected more from his unfortunate bumps into the various parts of the interior than he had previously thought, Kyo moved a bit closer to ascertain that there hadn't been any injury. "Are you really alright?" If his face hadn't been showing much concern before, it certainly was now, and he only hoped that the kitchen wasn't much further so perhaps they could get there without many more incidents.

"Are you really alright?"

Rez's head snapped up to look at the concerned face of Kyo, his red eyes gleaming in the light from the corridor. "Yep, I'm great, thanks." He smiled, "You gotta make the most out of life, and even more when you don't have a voice in your head." Picking himself up from where he had slumped down to the floor, Rez fell into step with Kyo, deciding they must be getting close as the smell was getting stronger. He knew he was acting like a five year old, not that it fazed him, these moments could be few and far between. Sprawling forwards, having tripped over his own feet, he grinned, "Hey, I found the kitchen!"

"Good morning. I was just about to go looking for everyone. I made some eggs. If you want something else please feel free. I am not the best cook but I am working on learning."Katherin told them. She wanted them to stay. She would do whatever it took. She had a feeling that they were going to need each other. Maybe not to day but eventually. The demons were not easy to manage alone. Surely having someone supporting them would make things easier.

"Oh, oh, oh, do you have potatoes?????" Rez sprung up from the floor and bounced over to Katherin, a massive grin spreading across his face. He'd never really liked eggs, but that was okay, it was the thought that counted, and anyway, how was she supposed to know what random strangers liked to eat? He started opening cupboards randomly, fishing out a fair sized fry-pan, and setting it on a counter. "Oh, sorry," he muttered, realizing he'd been rude.

"Please feel free to make yourself at home."Katherin assured him. She was glad that he had felt comfortable enough to go looking for what he needed. She hoped that meant that he felt at home her. She desperately wanted the others to stay. She didn't want to be alone anymore. And she knew they would need each other. People would be hunting them. She wanted her new family to be safe. And she did consider the others family.

After receiving permission to keep rummaging, Rez hunted around, grabbing out; a grater, a plate, an armfull of potatoes, a slab of butter and a fish-slice thingie. Dumping them all on the bench, he filled the bottom of the sink with water, scrubbed the potatoes, placed the fry-pan on a hot-plate, turning it on and dropping some butter in. Letting the butter melt, Rez grated the potatoes onto a chopping board, grabbing a couple of handfuls and dropping them into the hot butter. Flipping the potato patties over when each side was cooked, Rez dropped them on the plate, and added more to the pan, grabbing one and munching as he cooked.

"Good morning, Miss Winter. I hope that you slept well, and thank you for your kindness." Kyo bowed his head slightly when he saw Katherin, greeting her the same way he always felt was natural. "I would be glad to have some of the eggs if that is alright. May I also make some tea if there is any available?" He kept his eyes slightly averted as the tablet read out the request, still unable to make direct eye contact during this sort of situation. It just didn't feel natural to him to do so.

"Of course you can. I am sure I have some here somewhere."Katherin frowned at the cabinets. She had bought some for herself. But she couldn't remember where she had put it. She started opening cabinets."I've got raspberry and regular. We can go into town later and get whatever I don't have."She told him setting the two flavors down.

"Thank you, raspberry will be fine. I'm sorry to trouble you like this." Kyo gave a small smile as he placed his tablet down on the counter while he looked for a kettle. After a bit of searching, he eventually found one and began to fill it with water, but stopped in realization before he finished. Turning back to the tablet, he began typing again. "Would you like for me to make a cup for you as well?"

"I would love a cup of tea."Katherin replied. she filled her plate with eggs and sat at the table watching the other two. She was glad that she had been chosen to be the keeper of a demon. Because of Secrets she had a chance to make new friends. She had a chance to build a family. Something she doubted thst she coukd have had a chance at without the life changing event of recieving a demon.

The male's dark hair bobbed along with his head as he nodded in response, prompting him to take the chance to tie it back before he went back to filling the kettle. As soon as he had it set on the stove, he began to search for a couple of teacups. Setting them on the table once he had them in hand, he turned back to the cabinets again. "Do you like cream or sugar, or anything else in your tea?"

"Honey please." Katherin answered with a smile. "I was thinking of making a list of things and going into town. I try to go into town ever day or two to feed Secrets and get supplies. You are all welcome to come if you like." She encouraged them hoping that atleast a couple of them would choose to come with her. She wanted to spend more time with them. Plus it would be nice to have company on the trip.

Having finished cooking all the homemade potato patties, Rez turned the stove off, snagging himself another pattie, before offering some to the other two. "Can I please come? Into town I mean?" He queried, finishing his mouthful, and grinning happily. He had started to relax around these people, and he couldn't think when that had started, but he was quite fine with it. "Also I hope you don't mind, I might of slept in the library." Taking another massive bite of his food, he leaned against the counter, watching Kyo like a kid might, with the big curious eyes and all.

"Of course you are welcome to come. I think it is better if we all go together. That way we can all get what we want and need from town."Katherin was glad that they were both interested in going with her. She hoped that spending time with them would help her get to know them. She eat her eggs and drank her tea. She was happy now that she had others in her life. She hoped that it would last awhile.

Kyo nodded as he brought the rest of the items for the tea to the table, turning back after to bring his tablet with him. "Going into town sounds fine. It would probably be a good idea to learn a bit about the area if we will be here for a while, anyway." He could already think of a few things that he would probably need soon, so the timing seemed very convenient. He wondered if they might find out more about their odd situation somehow as well; there were still so many questions to ask.

Polishing off his food, Rez resisted the urge to lick his plate, he really didn't need them thinking he was that rude and wild. "Well then," he said, pushing himself up from where he had been leaning rinsing the plate in the sink, "I'm gonna go get changed, uhhh…… where do you want this?" he gestured with the plate, flinging tiny drops of water everywhere within a three foot radius. "Oh sorry." He muttered, slowly seeming to age from his hyper five-year-old attitude, to a more laid back ten-year-old mind-frame.@KatherinWinter
