[IC] Demon Within (REbooting)

Katherin world was that of a normal college girl until the morning she woke up to discover that she wasn't the only person in her head. She sought help immediately. She was afraid that she had schizophrenia or something. She ignored the voice in her head until she realized that the things he was telling her were real. She tested her first doctor. He accused her of spying on him because she knew things that no one else knew. That is when she figured out that the voice in her head was telling her everyone's secrets. No secret was safe from her. When Katherin question the voice and he explained the secret behind his existence, how he had came to be inside her mind, and that she was not the only person out there who had received a being like him. Katherin immediately began seeking those people who's life had changed the same day as hers had. She sent them an email inviting them to met her in a castle that had been in her family for centuries. The email she sent out read:You don't know me but I know you. In the last month your world has changed. One day you were alone in your head. The next you weren't. You saw doctors and did research but couldn't find the answers about what was happening to you. Soon you notice that the voice in your head isn't the only thing that has changed. You can now do something that no human can do. I am here to tell you that you are not alone. There are others like you. Others that have a voice that whispers to them and can do things that no one else can do. I have some answers. I am inviting all of those who has had these experiences to come to my castle where I will explain what I know about what has caused these changes.

Kyo yawned and attempted to brush some of the long black hair out of his face as he approached the location described in the mysterious email he had received. It had been a long way that he had to travel to get here, and he was currently suffering a bit from the jet lag, but he sincerely hoped that it would be worth the effort in the end. At the very least, it was a much better lead to find answers than what he had been able to find before. Maybe this would turn out for the best, after all. The castle was already in sight; just a little further ahead was the front door. Adjusting the strap of his bag on his shoulder, the slightly sleepy male made his way to the door and took a moment to collect himself before knocking. Was this really the right place? He remembered what the message said, but it still all seemed like something straight out of a movie of some sort. It was hard to believe even for his tired brain.

'Hahahahaha, The blood, all of it,i'll kill everyone!' Kronos opened his eyes, the light emanating from the sun blinded him. 'Huh...where am I?' Suddenly, he remmebers the strange email that was delivered to him about the voices. He really didn't need to know why. He just wanted to get along with the voice. 'it also mentioned something about others with different voices.' 5 Minutes later: "Here we go sir, you don't need to pay be careful!" Kronos waved goodbye to the Taxi Driver as he arrived at the doors of the castle. 'This is it huh?'

Leona kept walking, the castle door was just further up ahead. She caught sight of another person, a male, knocking it. A smile formed when she assumed he was one of the others like her. Even before, she was already excited to meet those like her. Despite the tiredness she had after the long journey, she still had plenty energy left to run to the male, her bag bouncing a little off her back, then sticking back to it, in a consistent motion as she ran. Her limbs and bruises ached from being inflicted with force by herself before, but she didn't mind the pain. She was used to it by then. She slowed down when she was near the male knocking the door, and finally came to a stop, awaiting the answer from the other side, with a noticeable grin on her face.

She was close by behind the first male and the other female. She was walking slowly, her heels clacking along the floor; she had decided to pair white heels with an equally white dress, and she had a companion who had insisted on following her to the castle, to see her off safely. She smiled back at him as he babbled on about his day and the amount of money he earns, no doubt trying to impress her. She could see through it, though; he'd dump her in a second if she gave up her body. Nevertheless, her luggage was rather heavy, and he volunteered to carry it all the way to the castle for her. When they reached the doors, she grabbed her bag and swung it onto her shoulders; she sweetly waved goodbye to him, rolling her eyes the moment his back was turned. She glanced at the other two, before smiling a little in greeting.

Pain, Hope, Wrath, and Nightmares are here. Secrets whispered in her mind. Katherin took up her tablet. She had bought shortly the demon invaded her mind. She had quickly learned that Secrets loved to talk. But mot about the things she needed or wanted to talk about. No the demon want to tell every secret he knew which in the last month was a LOT! So rather than trying to get through all that Katherin kept her mouth shut and bought a tablet that had text-to-speech capabilities. That why she could communicate without revealing all the secrets she knew. She opened the door to see the three new arrivals. "Welcome Everyone. I'm glad that you could all make it. My name is Katherin Winter. I am hoping the information I have will help you. she typed.

Shortly after he knocked on the door, the dark-haired male turned his head to see that three others had arrived. One other boy and two girls. He gave a small nod in greeting before he heard the door open and a young lady stepped out to greet them. The corner of his mouth quirked up slightly as he saw how she used the tablet to give her greetings. Reaching into his bag, he pulled out his own tablet and typed a message of his own before tapping the button to have the device read it out for him and bowing his head briefly. "Hello, Miss Winter. I am Kyo Alavondai. It is nice to meet you, and I am looking forward to hearing whatever you have to tell." The British accent of the voice he had set it to still made him smile a bit on the inside. He wasn't sure why, but he really liked how it sounded. Accents in general were fascinating to him, and he often wondered what his would have sounded like to others.

Her eyes darted among Kyo and Katherin, her fingers uneasily gripping onto the hem of her sleeves. She felt rather uneasy. She had quickly learned to block off the demon's whisper in her mind, as she was accustomed to firstly blocking out Annie from constantly invading in her own personal thoughts. She was nervous, and uncertain. She wanted to run, far away, but she wanted answers as well. She wanted to know she really, truly wasn't the only one, and that it wasn't just some sick cameras-hidden reality show.

Rez skidded round the corner, the back wheel sliding out and round. He leaned into the turn, shifting his center of gravity. In all probability he shouldn’t be riding a bike, not a friggin huge motorbike anyways, but that had never stopped him. With music pounding in one ear, Rez screeched round the last corner gasping quietly as he saw the giant castle looming up before him. There seemed to be people on the steps, others, others like him. Who had received the email and come, flocking like birds. Screeching to a sliding halt, Rez pulled his helmet off, shaking his sliver white-hair out and dismounting the bike. He headed up to the door, music still blaring into one ear, drowning out the voice, the muttering voice, the one the email referred to.

"Hello, Winter, Alavondai, nice meeting you two. The name's Leona Larkins. You could just call me Leona though," she greeted the two. "Do we have to wait for others? I'm quite piqued on whatever information you have for us," she continued, turning to Katherin Winter. The enthusiasm was quite evident on her face, as the demon Pain whispered in her mind that the others around her had demons too occupying them.

Welcome everyone. I hope the information I have to give you will help you all better understand what's you're experiencing. There's a lot of information to go over. So please follow me. I've set up the great room so we can talk comfortably. Katherin typed on her tablet before pressing the speak button. Than she turned and walked into the castle. Even after living in the castle nearly a year she could believe it was hers. She had grown up an orphan. Passed from one foster home to the next. When she got too be too old for the system she had lived one the streets. Until a PI found her and told her that she had family and they had left her a castle. Better to be acknowledged late than never she had thought at the time. Now she wondered if someone hadn't known that one day she would need a big place to house a bunch of strangers.

As everyone introduced themselves, Kronos checked his watch. '3 Hours Left huh?' It was Kronos's turn to introduce himself. "Nice to meet you all, My name is Kronos, as in the titan whom Zeus, Poseidon and Hades defeated." Kronos watched in awe as the doors to the castle opened. He had never been somewhere as big as this. He walked insider whistling at the amazing sight. He looked at Katherin. "So these voices what are they?"

Kyo nodded to the other girl and boy who spoke and typed a response to them. "It is nice to meet you as well, Miss Larkins, Sir Kronos. I hope that we will be able to get along well." Turning back to follow Katherin into the great hall, he couldn't help but admire the interior of the great structure as he walked. Did she live here alone? It was such a big place...

Turning down his music, Rez slipped inside behind the others, gawping openly at the place, it was huge, and so empty! He quietly took in the name's of the others, although apparently some had introduced themselves before he arrived. Ignoring the voice, who was begging for a challenge, he quietly followed the others, deciding to keep quiet for now and learn what he could.

Lynn walked up to see a beautiful castle. She can't believe she's actually visiting a real castle! But now wasn't the time to be amazed. She had some people to meet. She continued walking wondering is this was really real or if someone was lying to her again. She knew she'd get her answer soon as she saw a group of people heading inside already. She sped up some to catch up but tried to act as if she was there the whole time and follow quietly.no need to draw to much attention to myself right? she thought as she tried so quietly become just another member of the group.

"So these voices what are they?"

Demon. Katherin typed and than sent out to the group. She hoped the tablets voice was loud enough to for everyone to hear. She had the sound up as loud as it would go. The voices that each and everyone of us hear is that of a demon lord. Each lord has its own... consequences. For example I am the... keeper of the demon lord Secrets. His power allows me to know all the secrets within about a mile. I've tested it as best I can. So anything you dont want know is now being absorbed by Secrets and stored for later.

Great Rez thought She knows All our secrets? Just great. He ignored the voice telling him it was a challenge. It was not, just a statement of fact. In no way was that phrased as a challenge. He grinned, noticing a blue-haired girl slip in behind him and employ the same tactic of stay silent and hope no one notices.

All our secrets? Anya bit her lower lip and frowned; letting her guard down, Alice took the chance and began to whisper to her. That they should keep her secret safe. That they should run, far from this place, and off where nobody could potentially harm her, where she could finally be safe again. Away from everyone else, and threats. The demon perked its head in interest; she could feel it whispering to her as well. Giving her false hope that it'd be okay, that- Anya shook her head and bit down hard enough on her lip that it drew blood as a reminder both to herself and Alice. No. They wouldn't harm anyone else again. She continued to listen to Katherin, her hands tightly folded together, her knuckles white. She licked away the trace of blood that beaded on her lip, and tried to even out her breathing so as to not seem nervous or scared.

Leona couldn't help but stare at the architecture of the castle interior, though she tried her best to resist turning her head to look at everything as it would seem impolite. It was really beautiful, and very elegant. She noticed some others had arrived, and they were keeping quiet about it. Her grin was still stuck on her face, until Katherin spoke something she felt uncomfortable with. Secrets? She had lots. And they were being stored for future purposes? No, no, no way, she thought, the friendly smile disappearing quickly. She felt the urge to hurt something again, the work of Pain.

Kyo listened carefully, but found himself oddly unfazed by the idea that all his secrets could be known at any time for some reason. Perhaps it was the jet lag altering his judgment, but he really wasn't all that worried at the moment. Maybe when I'm more awake, I'll start to rethink this... The rest of it wasn't too surprising, either. Nightmare had mentioned being a demon at some point, though it was indeed very appreciated to receive confirmation. Especially since Nightmare still seemed to like messing with him. Perhaps jet lag wasn't the only thing lowering his perception due to exhaustion, now that he thought of it. Since nobody else seemed to be saying anything just yet, the dark-haired male tapped on the tablet again to create another message. "So, then, what do we do now? Where did these demons come from, and why are they here? Will we remain as hosts for long, or is this a temporary state?"
