OK, not gonna lie, loving the Ben Grimm vibe (seeing the word clobberin' seriously made my day), but I would personally tone down the invulnerability a bit since it sounds there's no feasible way to stop him should he ever go on a rampage, which is a bit balanced unless I'm missing something, in which case feel free to correct me.

Name: Jason E. Black
Age: 19
Gender: Male
Ethnicity: Caucasian
Appearance Jason's appearance is something you really wouldn't notice in a dark alley; and if you did, you'd wish you didn't really notice. He's not grotesque or ugly...just, his choice of apparel, and the foreboding way his hood shadows his face...well, yeah. Looks-wise, his skin is a bit on the pale side - a farcry to the tan he used to have quite a few months ago. His face is a bit boyish and handsome, seeing as he's still in his teenage years, and he was never an unattractive guy. His hair, however, is a deep, almost shadow-like black; and very shaggy. It's medium-length, going down his neck in raven-colored locks, and his bangs sweeps over his eyebrows. His eyes are obviously his most unusual feature.
Pure white, without any of the veins or yellowsih coloring you'd see in regular humans. Flat in the middle, is a small, pure-black dot. Another side-effect. Due to his powers allowing him to form his clothing at any time; although his clothing is pure, shadowy-black due to literally being congealed shadows - Jason just keeps to his shadow-hoodies, rugged shadow-jeans, and shadow-converse. Nothing out-of-place - except the pitch black coloring, and nothing you'd blink twice at. Except, his hood is constantly up, and never seems to come off, and it completely shadows his face. Completely. Like, you can't see any skin, since he keeps gloves on as well.Alias: N/A.

Meta-Human Power: Darkness Manipulation;; The name itself is basically the whole shebang. Jason has absolute control over darkness, shadows, and things of that nature. This allows for a variety of different techniques and uses, from frivolous to lethal, all the way to destructive. An example is him enveloping his arm in shadows, creating a long, curling, inky black whip made of darkness. With a lash of the shoulder muscle, he can send the darkness whip curling through the air like a cobra, while his control over darkness naturally makes it razor-sharp and durable, allowing it to cut, pierce, and slice through objects, or wrap around objects to throw. That's one technique of the power. It could also be used for puddle-like portals of darkness, for teleportation or stealth, or even creating organic-like darkness to act as dermal armor and clothing at the same time.
Weaknesses or Side-Effects: A side-effect of his powers is his eyes - they are now all white with one pitch-black pupil in the middle; a rather obvious thing, and the reason why he wears a hood 24/7. It also turned his hair pitch-black and skin a bit pale, but that's not anything too bad. A weakness would, obviously, be light. However, since he isn't a vampire or anything, it doesn't hurt to be in light. Rather, concentrated amounts of light hurts and burns, and he can get sun-burned very, very easily. Fire is a bitch, so that's a weakness. Darkness doesn't like fire.
Personality: Can this be developed in the IC? He's going to be a pretty distant, yet chill guy...don't really like playing around with kids, but always has a dry, sarcastic wisecrack ready whenever necessary. Can come off as cold and unfeeling, but is decent enough at his heart, and dislikes crime due to some trouble in his past.
Background: Let's be real here; not everyone's life is very exciting...Jason's life is like this, as well. He grew up as a normal boy, living with his grandma and grandpa since his parents died when he was three. He played sports in school, got picked on until he hit his growth spurt and began hitting back, and got into a bit of trouble in his mid-teens. Got done with the trouble, got a job at a coffee shop, and moved out to begin college. It wasn't for him, and he dropped out, getting into becoming a freelance artist and journalist. This whole power thing took him by surprise, but as an adaptive guy, Jason rolled with it. The side-effects were hard to deal with at first, but then the whole 'hood' thing came into play, and he just began using his darkness to make hoodies; which hid his face in shade completely due to his powers. He wasn't into the whole superhero thing, with aliases and costumes; he found it geeky...but whenever he saw a crime going down, he had to help. With darkness being his clothing, he could easily just use it to disguise himself...so no harm, no foul.
