If you guys want to arrange a real life fight, do you mind doing that in a private chat? I don't want to be held accountable for someone getting their asses kicked. I don't really see the problem.

*twitch* cause he is acting steward of the castle...it is literally his job to make sure all the needs of guest are met...which means if a noble comes with out servants, making sure they have one(Yes he choose one that was on of his spies, but she doesn't know that) is his job.

Add-on: @Partisan Sorry I just was confused cause at least to me the post made absolutely no sense cause there didn't seem to be any motivation or reason for it so wanted some clarification...didn't mean for it to turn into a thing, I'll drop it.

Could've been clarified better. You can also just think that perhaps she wants to gain influence, so she tries to learn about everyone. I don't know, be creative.

Here's a list of problems with that "intel" you have there about the Heshans:
A) It's Heshan, from Hesh, not Keshans, from Kesh.
B) Heshan troops are in foreign and unfamiliar territory, and were not even allowed to camp within the safety of the walls- they are hardened warriors. It is unlikely anyone would get them to talk so soon, to possible enemies. Everyone is foreign; everyone is a possible spy or assassin.
C) Heshans are warriors- attempts to wheedle information out of them would be met with cold glares, even if they were drunk. It's also likely they'd still beat you senseless before falling, too.
D) There is the northern icy tundra of Hesh, then there is the central deserts, and then the southern grasslands. It's all primarily flat- but it's not infertile. Desert is desert, but rivers provide lifeblood that makes otherwise inhospitable land very fertile and very much farmable.
E) Women are not so much warriors. They're more like the gems- they're protected and fit into traditional roles of women. Many, many people are unlikely to put a sword into a woman's hands.
F) You might want to add that they are clansmen- very much obviously. Kaz is the only one with heavy metal armor, and that's very, very expensive metal armor. Stuff that would rival a king's armor, though simpler and yet seeming more valuable at the same time.

So essentially, you need to get soldiers to relax before they talk, and these are elites from a continent-conquering force. Unlikely that you'll get them drunk enough to spill without even inviting them inside the walls. At best, they're offended by the gesture, especially with the approaching blizzard. At worst, they're likely to sick a knife between your ribs and take your money.

Meh, Ash assumed they were tribals with a chieftain. I'm glad it wasn't too far off the mark.

Ghost, maybe from now on it would be best to PM people to ask for information. That could stop (little) slip ups like these. It's what I do when I am unsure of information or when I don't understand what someone is saying.

They were set outside the walls, in a blizzard, to camp with their own equipment, after weeks of traveling in such conditions. They'd welcome the wine, oh yes, but they would be cold and inhospitable companions for the night. If you had traveled a great distance just to be set outside into the elements, with a Warleader that has killed his own men for being careless or otherwise endangering his men, do you think you'd give away information about the homeland and let the ladies have all they wanna know?

Meh, Ash assumed they were tribals with a chieftain. I'm glad it wasn't too far off the mark.

Civilized tribals, really. Instead of spiked wood clubs, they have steel weapons. Instead of fur drapings covering the bare essentials, boiled leather armor, or in the case of the very rich, wealthy, or powerful, steel armor. Deserts don't have very many sources of iron, not when they're ruled over by constantly warring soldiers. They need all their steel to go to their weapons.

Sorry from your profile it seems like they are very much a Nord like society,

That's cause of the image. There are plenty of hints that it was more tribal than skyrim-nordic.

Just after he posted (at least, I received it after he posted), so I put it on the OOC so that everyone else knew, and wouldn't have to individually PM.

What misunderstanding was had? And we should perhaps write the lore of each faction if you're going to complain about people getting something you never said in public wrong...

Yeah, I don't like you very much, tbh. There's just something about you that makes me dislike you. Mannerism and such.

A) Wasn't complaining.
B) There is a bit of lore in my app- go read.
C) Maybe you should ask before you make something up? I mean, I wasn't aware that I was supposed to write everything about Hesh, since people were going to be reporting absolutely everything about it within the same day of their arrival.

You seem to have an unhealthy obsession with lists.

I propose a lore page which people can refer to, could be useful as PM'ing everyone will get quite tiresome. Thoughts?

Congratulations, you labelled the two-time use of lists as an "unhealthy obsession."

In that case, I have a dire, fatal obsession with food, drink, computers, cups, trackpads, keyboards, headphones, speakers, music, CDs, Netflix, nerf guns, paintball guns, airsoft guns, real guns, LEGOs, Minecraft, other games, clothes, doors, vehicles like a pickup, vehicles like a lawnmower, showers, baths, toilets, and many more.

Rolland had sent Gidja to the north gate because she sounded out prematurely, ignoring the chain of command. But he still holds her in high regard considering her for a lieutenant position behind him.
