The Justice League was getting older in 2020. While most of it's founding members are in their late 30's early 40's, Superman himself still looked nearly the same he had a decade prior. The League had gone through several incarnations over the years. There were also splinter units like the Justice League of America and the JL United, as well as the JL Dark led by none other than John Constantine. In the year 2020 however, heroic metahumans are getting to be fewer and fewer. Most alien races that don't appear to be human are often shunned by society, the now more alien Green Lantern from the planet Tandax was banned from Earth. The economy in the United States was still fighting a losing battle. Crime rates, especially metahuman crime, was up a record 120% from this time in 2010. Some metahumans operating as heroes are not welcomed by all of the 2020 law enforcers. Only the League has been officially sanctioned by the President of the 'States.. Young heroes have been 'sponsored' by the remaining members of the League to operate in Star City, the former home of the now deceased Green Arrow and one of the larger metropolitan cities with increased metahuman crime. Can the heroes in the Young Justice Program take back Star City from the grips of chaos and become real heroes like the members of the Justice League?

The headquarters was near the middle of the Star City forest/park that sprouted up months earlier after something to do with the Swamp Thing creature went down. It was still new, everything clean and without dust. The futuristic building was four stories high and a modern marvel. With the Justice League sponsoring these young heroes, Wayne Industries funded most of the project along with Kord Technologies. A few members of the League were on hand for the opening of the Young Justice Tower and the recruits came pouring in over the course of the next two days. Red Tornado, Black Canary, and one of many Batman androids Bruce Wayne now uses [after suffering a crippling back injury at the hands of Bane months earlier] were all at the Tower to show the young heroes the various levels of the HQ as well as basics on the tech such as the War Room, the computers and surveillance systems in the Monitor Room, as well as the YJ Program's personal quarters for all of the sponsored heroes on the upper level of the Tower.

A young man got off of a bus that drove on one of the only roads through the forest/park. His eyes glowed a yellow/gold and he tossed a small dufflebag over his shoulder as he exited the bus. Kilian Darukk looked to the sky to see what appeared to be a dark skinned girl riding a steel pipe. The young alien put his arm in front of his eyes to block out the sun from peering through the trees. The young girl who would later be introduced as Shock would not be the first sponsored hero to beat Kilian to the base. The triplicate man had increased physical attributes, but he was in no hurry. When patrolling as Ditto he never gets to take in the scenery as much. Earth is still an alien planet to the young man from Cargg.

After getting the full tour from the monotone Red Tornado, Ditto was shown his quarters on the upper level. The view from the windows on this level of the base were amazing. The tree line was just in view and you could see the rest of Star City looming in the backdrop all around. Kilian unpacked his things, changed into his uniform [if you could call it that] that consisted of a shirt and pants, and got ready to go back down a couple levels.

The kitchen was often a place the young heroes in the Program would bump into each other. Even the most recluse needed to eat. Ditto made his way into the area and saw the girl from earlier in the day cooking something that smelled amazing.

"What is this sauce she's concocted, and is that chicken?" the Carggite thought to himself breathing in through his nose and taking in every bit of the flavor.

"Barbecue chicken, guys! Almost done!"Shock turned to him and winked. A couple minutes later she plated it for him. "Tell me what ya think!"

The alien tore into the food that was also served with steamed veggies and a roll. The team already seemed tons better than living on the street and barely eating. The girl had winked like she knew what Kilian's response would be. No doubt the others would come for food when the aroma flowed through the air. Wiping some of the barbecue that seemed to cover the whole bottom of his chin and mouth, he swallowed his last few bites and wiped his mouth again.

"That was the best food I've had since coming to this planet. Can I get just one..." he began saying before Shock pulled the serving dish back.

"Hey," said Photon, appearing behind the man who seemed to be in the process of eating an entire chicken, "Leave some for the rest of us." He quickly made himself a plate so that he would be sure to get some. Looking the man over, though, seemed to tell him that the guy was a bit down on his luck. "So, I don't mean to be rude, but is this the first time you've had a decent meal on Earth? I can show you some good places to eat if you want."

"Superman introduced me to the round disk of cheese and other ingredients. Peat's Za?" the alien asked still not fully accustomed to the terran language he was struggling to understand at times.

"And somebody asked why I have a Pac Man on my shirt? Is he some sort of superhero like the Tornado guy and Black Canary? This is an interlac symbol for the letter 'd'..." Kilian continued pulling at his shirt, "How does this even resemble a man of any kind?"

"Interlac? Is that some sort of universal alphabet?" He'd never hear of it before and was curious, but the man had asked a question, so he would answer that question first. "Pacman is a video game character from when the graphics in such games were very crude. Do you have electronic games on your world? If not, I can show you after the tour is over."

"Interlac is like your alphabet and used by the members of the United Planets. My homeworld Cargg is among them. We had games on my planet, though I prefer to play my hibaso. It resembles your planet's guitars..." Ditto responded stepping back from the table.

The alien was bummed a bit, but still with that girl in the kitchen there's no telling what she'll cook next. The guy with the glowing suit seemed nice as well to somebody revealing themselves as alien and not metahuman. His next destination was this 'War Room' he'd seen Black Canary in earlier for a demonstration.

Having arrived long before the others, with much forced prompting from his sponsor James had taken to hiding in his room before getting bored and deciding to head for the war room. He had reluctantly come here to be a full member of the YJ project. It wasn't his favorite thing, he would much rather be back in his home town fighting fires. That was what he was used to. The young man huffed when he entered the war room. It seemed a few others had the same idea. When he huffed smoke seemed to come out if his nose, much like it would for a dragon. He decided instead that he was hungry and headed toward the kitchen. Something there smelled really good and his stomach growled in agreement. It had been a while since James had any sort of meal that wasn't either fast food or microwaveable TV dinners. He had practically lived at the station and when he wasn't there he roomed with a co-worker who owned an apartment. Nobody he had lived with ever had time to cook since he had moved out from his parent's house so he had always eaten what was available.

He smiled at the cook when he approached. "Smells and looks good. Let's hope it's taste is up to par too." He winked, chuckling to himself and headed toward an unoccupied table. He took a bite and sighed in content. "Yup this is pretty good." He said to nobody in particular and continued to eat, slowly, enjoying the taste of the food.

From the sky above the tower could be seen quite clearly. It have almost been a struggle getting to this point. Angel had found Sarah to be quite stubborn much of the time, a trait that the magical being did not quite understand. Should she not want to help people. Having been in a stalemate for hours the disgruntled teen relented when her mother was mentioned. Parental figures were not something present since her mother passed. She had been a kind woman and would have been proud to know that her daughter was doing more to improve others lives.

Damned if that thought didn't make her cave. This "social experiment" was going to be rough. To some extent she was the kind of punk that heroes would slap on the wrist and lecture to no end. There was no revelation that changed her heart or tragedy that made her see the error of her ways. No, she found a magic puzzle and boom, you're an angel now! Oh by the way it comes with a nagging conscience that'll drive you mad. Though as it was explained to her by the said angel she was only a manifestation of her inner being. Whatever the hell that meant.

Swooping down Angel gazed over the structure. It was larger than she expected. But living in the ghetto wasn't exactly where you would find big fancy buildings. Apparently everything having been attended to before her arrival she was able to enter without any trouble. Yep, a lot more fancy. Almost anything here could fetch a pretty penny. Though something like theft was outside her ability now. Hearing some voices Angel headed in the direction of the kitchen. Sarah might not want to be around anyone but GA wanted to meet her teammates.

"Greetings all. My name is Guardian Angel. May I inquire whom I am speaking?" She spoke in a soft voice as she took a slight bow. Angel had a rather dated way of speaking. At times it confused Sarah because she has no idea where it came from. The only thing she could figure is it was from the stupid rune. Angel's appearance was definitely from another time having something more akin to light roman like robes. One other detail is she looked older than the other members, maybe falling around 25 or 26. Rather odd considering that Sarah was actually one of the youngest of them all.

Despite having the world’s fastest man as his sponsor, Dominic Miller still managed to be one of the last to arrive at the Young Justice Tower. It wasn’t because he didn’t wish to be part of the program, in fact, the teenager actually really liked the idea of being part of another team, despite how his time with his last one went. No, the reason they were late was because Dominic was having too much fun annoying the Flash, who as it turns out gets really impatient if you decided to stop and gaze at every building you came across in excitement. It was the little things in life that Dominic loved most.

Dominic’s fun was cut short after a while when the scarlet speedster finally list his patience. Grabbing hold of him, the Flash held up the teen’s head to avoid whiplash and shot off. Dominic wasn’t that bothered though, as really he wasn’t that interested in Star City’s apparent beauty. The Young Justice headquarters however? Now that was a thing of beauty. During the tour led by Sharknado or whatever the robot was called, Dominic’s eyes darted around in awe at all the gizmos and tech that lined the place, although whenever the Flash looked in his direction he slumped his shoulders and acted as if he was bored. He didn’t want ol’ Flashy thinking he was enjoying himself now!

After a while, he was shown to his new room. It was large than his room at his latest foster home, yet more bare. His room back there had been covered in blueprints, rough notes and even the occasional playboy poster. Dominic came to the conclusion that it probably wouldn’t take long until this place ended up looking the same.

He quickly changed, swapping the Ray-Bans he had been wearing with his mask. He pulled on the rest of his Kid Rogue attire before leaving the room, fiddling with one of his grenades as he did so. While he wasn’t actually doing anything with it, it was always fun when people found him playing with a live grenade. Catching the sound of people talking, he slouched his way into the kitchen and leant against the doorway watching.

While looking around at the group, a few of the so-called heroes he laid eyes on made him raise his eyebrow. Especially the winged one. Going by his knowledge of old league members he had seem on the news, he assumed it was one of Hawkwoman’s people.

“Name’s Kid Rogue, Feathers” He said coolly. “You’re obviously far from Thanagar!”

The first one to speak entered after her. Turning Angel noted his choice of hairstyle was similar to Sarah's. To his reference to her as Feathers she pursed her lips slightly. "Greetings Kid Rogue. I pray you are well. Please, if you must call me something other than Guardian Angel then I would prefer simply, Angel. And I know not where this Thanagar is but I believe I know whom you refer. I can assure you my place of origin is quite different. You are not however the first to draw the same conclusion."

Yes being mistaken as an alien from space was not uncommon. It would seem that anyone with feathered wings automatically fell within the people of a former Justice League member. Sarah had never had much reason to pay attention to such things. Superheroes always came for the big bad but rarely stopped to help out a failing community.

An animal cracker hung off Ray Tyler's lower lip. He'd been in the kitchen, amidst the other young future leaguers eating and checking around. He'd been keeping to himself. But thus far he'd picked up on several of the aliases and names of people around him. Guardian Angel for one.

Ray looked over at Dominic Miller. The boy was trouble and it was as clear to see as a torch in the night.

Presently, Ray was in costume with the exception of his cape, which was strewn across his bed. It just seemed unsuitable in a social setting. His black, form-fitting attire displayed his muscles. Not bulky, but toned and visibly maintained.

"Hello," he said to Kid Rogue, swallowing the cracker that had partially dissolved.

"Hey Kid, how about you not come up with names for people before you speak to them. Some may not enjoy being called strange things such as feathers." Jamed stated calmly from the table where he sat. His next statement was directed toward Guardian Angel. "It is a pleasure to meet you Angel, you may call me Scourge." He stood and smiled at the winged female. "I look forward to working with you." He winked at her after that statement. He still wasn't to excited to be in this place. He would had to get used to a brand new place. He was so accustomed to the fire house that he wasn't sure how exactly he would get along here.

Michael's head cracked against the floor with a resound thud. How in the hell did I get myself into this? He thought to himself as he was once again pinned to the ground with his arm twisted behind his back. Help me with a demonstration, she said. An electronic chime sounded above him as the number on the display over Black Canary's head increased to 15 as his remained at a whopping 0. I wasn't expect 15 rounds of fighting with her! Hell, I would have worn something a bit more padded than jeans and a shirt!

"I think that's enough of a demonstration of the capabilities of the training program here in the War Room," He could feel her looking down at him. "Don't you think so, Michael?"

"Oh, yes, quite enough." He strained to say as she twisted his arm just a bit further before releasing him. Oh, thank God! I thought she was gonna break it. He pushed himself up on all fours before coming up to a kneeling position to roll his arm around in a circle. Again. He groaned as he stood back up and stretched before turning to face Black Canary. "If you're done with me, I'd like to get something to eat before everyone shows up and eats all the food."

She nodded to him as the displays over their heads vanished. "As you can see the War Room can be used as a training area besides what may be available in other areas of the headquarter."

She turned as a large display with the layout of the city appeared, but before he could heard her give the same speech he had heard before he left the War Room and began to make his way to the kitchen. Having been at the headquarters a full week before any of the other's that had been sponsored arrived he had wandered the halls of the headquarters and had found many shortcuts to other areas of the building. He decided now would be the time to use one if he wanted some of the food that was giving off such a delightful aroma through the entire floor. When he arrived where the others were he paid little attention to them and sat at the table where the food was before fixing himself a plate.

Angel
Finally someone with tact. Angel smiled and approached Scourge and offered a hand to shake. "Likewise. I hope I may serve you all well." The newcomer entered without a word and started eating. So far this group seemed largely uncooperative. The dynamic made her unsure how Sarah would intergrate with the others. However there was no way to find out but to try, but not just yet.

Shock was pretty much delighted by how much the team enjoyed her food. It was great to have a second use for her teammates -- guinea pigs for her culinary school. She was pretty sure she perfected her sauce and finally took a seat next to the Hood (who looked kind of worn out by the way). She first picked up her bread, (Rolls were one of her favorites!) munching on it as she turned to look at one winged member. "I wonder why she talks like that? It's kind of creepy..."She said to no one in particular with her face somewhat confused. She shrugged it off though. Maybe she was a robot like Red Tornado. Of course, there was a way to figure it out for sure. She could go give her a nice little love zap and see if her electricity fried any circuits...but curiosity killed the cat. She could accidentally turn a teammate into a hell bent psycho keen on destroying their lives (like in one of Virgil's video games! Ha.) or have to deal with one pretty pissed off non-robot teammate for the rest of her stay here. The pros didn't outweigh the cons so she sighed, turning her body back towards her plate and proceeding to eat some of the chicken.

She wondered how her abilities would stack up to the rest of theirs on the field. Would she be a burden she could sometimes be with her brother? Or a teammate that everyone eagerly awaited. She'd just have to worry about all that later she supposed. For now she settled on listening to how her teammates interacted. It wasn't that she was shy or reserved. She would just speak when someone wanted to speak with her instead of forcing her conversation down someones throat. It was a time to take in their personalities too. She hadn't seen everyone yet but she had made judgements about some. Scourge seemed like someone Shock probably wouldn't readily get along with after his reprimand and jokey demeanor about her food tasting good (Of course it tastes good...i made it, her face took on a somewhat sour expression). Judging by how quickly Angel got along with him too it was probably a given that the pair of them would be at odds (ignoring how condescending her personality already came off with the way she spoke and worded things). The Ditto guy seemed adorable though, pretty cool how quickly he liked her food, Photon too. The hood and Kid Rogue she still wasn't sure about but all these were just first impressions...She could be greatly mistaken.

After she finished her plate, she cleared the chicken bones and placed everything in the dishwasher before leaving the headquarters to sit up in a tree. There weren't many wooded areas in Dakota City which is something she yearned for. She felt pretty free in the forest which is ironic given her power-set. She took out her pole, extended it, and flew up towards a branch before hopping onto it and setting her back against it as she calmly closed her eyes and let her thoughts wander.

Dominic smirked as the so-called Angel responded. It seemed that he was wrong about her being a companion of Hawkwoman. To be fair just because she had a set of wings didn't mean she was automatically A Thanagarian! Although if she ended up claiming that that other place of origin was the big place upstairs, then he was calling bullshit! Sure he could get superheroes and even aliens, but this was something different.

The comment from the so-called Scourge nearly made him laugh out loud. It would seem that there were heroes among them yet! Flexing his arms slightly, he stood tall and moved forward into the room, gently tossing the explosive he was playing with from hand to hand. After pausing for a moment, he opened his mouth once more.

“I am terribly sorry!” He said, his voice riddled with sarcasm. Turning to face Scourge, he continued. “I promise you now Big-man, that I shall not do it again!”

Chuckling slightly he watched as the room gained a new arrival. He gave the hooded youth a short salute before making his way to the refrigerator. Peering inside, he frowned. After place his grenade on the countertop, he rummaged around inside, shunting about the various cans of soda and ready meals.

“I don’t suppose we have any beer?” He asked, turning around to face his new teammates. “Please don’t tell me that we’re going to have to rely on that Pepsi shit in there?”

"You've done well in supposing otherwise," Ray mocked a chivalrous tone. But a sly smile crept across his face before he spoke a special sort of sentence, the kind of outright defiance that created the rebellious teenage stereotype long ago. "We don't have it, but we do have something better." He waved his hand over at their winged associate.

"It'd be great if you would pass me a Pepsi though," he rested his hand on his chest. Mimicking a junkie, he quivered his voice and trembled his every muscle "Could really use somethin' to take the edge off... if you know what I'm sayin'."

"The name's Raymond, I go by Time Bomb." He shrugged, "But you can call me Ray." Then, to no one in particular, "Does anyone know what can clean bulletproof vests? There's this stain on my emblem and I can't get it off. I don't want it to look like there's blood on my logo."

It's just spaghetti sauce. Could get a great bit for my reputation if any of the bad guys saw it though. Looking at all the people surrounding him and recalling those in his vicinty, he summised that a reputation would be all of an advantage he'd really have unless some of the higher powered members fought with their brains instead of brawn. Then I'd have nothing.

James glared at Kid. He didn't like the way the male spoke to him. He was so used to being treated fairly that he wasn't used to the fact the people may not like him. He had worked with the same people long enough that they all knew each other on a personal level. "Don't call me big man. I have no desire to go by any other names. Do not call me by another name unless your intent is to irritate me, in which case we may have problems. Also drinking while on duty isn't a good idea, no matter how little." He shot back at the male then looked to be other male who had asked about washing bulletproof vests. "The outer cover should be removable, you should simply be able to put it in a washer. If not then sponging it with soap and water should do the trick. Of course if it is a bad stain, stain remover works as well." He shrugged as if his knowledge of the armor was normal and continued with his food. Now uninterested in the rest of the people in the room. James wasn't normally this hot headed but for some reason he was on guard now. Was it the new environment and new people? That had to have been it. He did know one thing for sure, if they were expected to be a team it wouldn't be an easy task getting them to work together without some sort of bickering. A lot of training was going to have to go into the teamwork of the group. That much was obvious to him.

@Natty“I don’t suppose we have any beer?”

"There's a pub in Dublin I go to some times, no minimum drinking age and all." said Photon. "They only let Supers in. We'll Zeta there after the day's work's over. In fact, if anyone else wants to go, I'll buy them a pint of Guinness too. Just as long as they promise not to come to work with the hangover the next day, that is." Photon rarely drank himself, but he found that it was a good way to get people to like you. "I'm Photon by the way." He held out his hand.

Angel
The tension was more than Angel wanted to deal with. Raising her hands she tried to calm things down a bit. "There is no need to fight amongst one another over such trivial things. We are to be a team and may need to rely on our fellow teammates to succeed." Her efforts may very well be lost on those here. Somehow she thought her words would be lost on Sarah.

The teen was more familiar with things though. Perhaps it would be a good idea to let her take over. Angel had actually missed the comment to their being something better when referring to her. "A pleasure to met you Raymond."

Had people always been this noisy? She couldn't recall.

Cassandra quietly entered the kitchen, or as quietly as her armour would allow, without so much as a word to anyone besides the occasional "Excuse me" as she made her way to the kitchen sink and proceeded to pour herself a glass of water from the kitchen tap. As she took a sip from the glass, she couldn't help but overhear the conversation of her peers. They seemed to be... arguing? Maybe not quite the right word, but there was definitely tension building in this room. It seemed that after her year of training, she had forgotten how petty and hot-tempered people her own age could be. She'd only arrived at this place yesterday, accompanied by Wonder Woman, and had been set up a room and told to do her best. So far, doing 'her best' had involved Cassandra doing 'her best' to avoid socialising with her teammates, and she's stayed in her room for most of yesterday, meditating. Now, however, she was finally getting to see what kind of people her new 'team' were.

The only one who seemed determined to keep the peace was the girl who introduced herself to the others as 'Angel', and that name seemed to suit her quite well as Cassandra eyed the girl's white wings. Angel seemed to want to inspire could will and teamwork among the rest of them. Time would tell if that would work out for her.

Or not. After all, if Cassandra wanted to, she could have looked into the futures of every person here and know for sure what kind of people they were and what kind of decisions they were likely to make. Though, given how they were acting, she might not have to. She could already tell, for example, that the boy who called himself Kid Rogue was going to be a trouble-maker. He probably thought himself to be quite the rebel and the joker, but Cassandra was not impressed, especially about the beer comment.

She rolled her eyes, and took another sip of her water.

At the fellow teenager’s request, Dominic reached into the fridge and tossed him a can of Pepsi. The guy’s name was Time Bomb. Judging by that, this guy was probably pretty powerful, although honestly Dominic didn’t think that he looked it. The comment about removing blood amused him, as from where he was standing he was pretty sure that stain was some kind of sauce. He didn’t say anything though, as this guy had yet to annoy him. He was about to offer to give his suit an upgrade if he ever had the time or the parts but before he could speak Scourge spoke up yet again, displaying his apparent expert knowledge on cleaning bullet proof vests.

Dominic rolled his eyes. “Pretty impressive knowledge there, Scrooge” He said, evidently mispronouncing the guy’s name. Dominic listened as someone else, who identified themselves as Proton, spoke before continuing. “Sure thing mate! Although I doubt it’ll beat the place me and tha’ Rogues used to hang in back in Central City! That place sure was a riot!”

Yet another person entered the room, replacing the young chef who had apparently cooked the food everyone was eating. Honestly he hadn’t even noticed her leave! This new girl seemed to be sporting some kind of armour under a green robe. Surprisingly the medieval sort of armour, not the modern kind. She was certainly pretty and for that Dominic was about to give her one of his signature moves, although judging by the look she seemed to be giving everyone in the room, and mostly himself, he decided against it. Besides him potentially flirting with her was merely for show as she, nor any of the other girls on this team were his type at all.

With antagonising his new teammates not giving him the satisfaction he had expected, Kid Rogue took his leave, making his way to the armoury. Before coming here, he had been promised by the Flash that he would get his own workbench there so he decided that he may as well do something productive to pass the time. Arriving, he slouched down into the swivel chair at what appeared to be his desk and pulled out his old wireless communicator, and set to work. Maybe they’d make him the team leader if he made everyone communicators?

L'Oriana only arrived at the new HQ to which would be new home here on the alien world of earth late last night with her sponsor Starfire, It was of course one of the greatest honours the young teen could ever of hoped for, Her very own princess of her people would be the one to help her transition on this new world. When most of the other team member that already arrived were asleep L'Oriana was getting a tour of the many facilities which were quite impressive, The Tamerean had already had the opportunity of learning the English language through lip contact and only time would tell if she would learn any more, eventually she would have wash and head for some rest herself before she would start anew the next day and get her first opportunity of seeing her team mates, One thing that greatly interested her to no end.

In the morning L'Oriana woke up early, she generally struggled to sleep in her new environment and probably would need a few day or so of adjustment getting used to the new sleep pattern and day/night cycle of the planet. due to waking up early she hit the gym after doing some warm ups, woman's sportswear was more comfortable then she thought it would be and certainly let plenty of her skin breathe during the workout, She took part in various activities for a few hours to burn off her restlessness. Soon enough L'Oriana had went to freshen up with a shower where the warm water gently glided down her smooth leathery skin, it was so relaxing and a place she could so easily stay in forever but not such a thing would last as the time had came to meet the other of this team for the first time.

L'Oriana wondered how different she would appear to the others as Tamerans were quite a rare sight, after freshening up the young teen set about putting on some fresh clean clothing, a one off shoulder top with a pair of short jeans was what she decided upon wearing, earth clothing and the way females of this world certainly dress differently to her own kind but it was a whole new experience and she liked the clothing she had on. deciding to remain bare foot as she normally enjoys to do, The beauty made her way out towards the kitchen where there was the sound of quite few people conversing and that smell, what was it? The only thing she could discern was it had to be food, Something she had yet to sample was the food of this world, but the smell was surprisingly pleasant.

Softly walking her way to the kitchen L'Oriana stepped just inside the doorway to see many conversing around the table or at least close to it, She watched for a few moments seeing how the group was interacting with one another and although many of them look mostly human in nature, The one with the Angelic wings and another in what appears to be ancient armour stood out the most. She remembered reading up there was Carggite on the team also. She was a little worried but also excited of this new adventure and the new people that would be her team mates, All sponsored or chosen by many great people. L'Oriana had her hands resting in front of her with fingers interlaced when she decided to speak up. "Hello" Was the only thing that she came out with and a soft smile, Sure she learned the English language of this world easily but was not accustomed or sure of the customs of greetings on this planet, She was not being seductive in any way and was quite relaxed but was not sure how people would react to her appearance, Her exotic blue eyes scanning over the room at the others.

BOOM!

The group of young heroes in the kitchen could hear the lower level's War Room underground from the rest of the base. Somebody was currently engaging an enemy holo-droid or two and the explosion was quite loud. That somebody was the Carggite, Kilian.

Five Minutes Earlier...

After meeting a few of his teammates and wolfing down the meal [which was probably the best he's had since being on Earth] Ditto walked away from the group when the smell of the food was too much after being told to leave some for the rest of the group. He walked around a bit before making his way underground to the War Room. It was mostly separated from the rest of the HQ, underground, and a bit of a walk down a hallway about sixty yards. Entering the viewing room there was an entrance to the floor level of the War room, one sided glass windows for viewing any battles/training going on, a water fountain, chairs, and another small staircase leading to the bird nest type control room high above the large football colosseum like room.

"Okay boys, you.." Ditto began saying after splitting into his three selves, "..go and take care of the controls. I'm gonna stay here with #2 and stretch. Maybe get a drink of water." said the original Kilian.

The duplicate ran up the staircase and began looking over the controls. He set the difficulty to 'medium' and began looking over the list of threats pictured on the monitor...

"Hey there's that purple guy I fought awhile back! Parasite is a fitting name for the leech but he looks so much bigger..." Ditto #3 said out loud still looking over the options.

He finally settled on one that didn't look too tough who's A.I. was set really low like the brute was dumb. After a few moments he ran back down the stairs and entered the War Room with his 'brothers' and stretched a bit himself before the War Room started to generate the environment. A local city block, a handful of civilians, a couple small fires, and the enemy who would be responsible for it all if any of it were real...

Before Ditto knew what was going on, from out of the smoke and debris came a large grey fist sending the original Carggite smashing into the top of a convertible vehicle.

BOOM!
[this is the same boom from earlier in case it isn't clear]

Ditto looked up and saw who his #3 had chosen for them to battle. Born on a Monday... Solomon Grundy.

James finished his food, avoiding his other teammates as much as possible due to him already being frustrated. Kid Rogue had already gotten on his nerves and he had already figured out that this team was going to have to work on their teamwork. Sighing he got up, washed his dish and began heading to his room. It was then that he heard the boom come from somewhere below. He was unsure exactly were but if he had his guess he would say the war room. It was likely someone was doing something that rather destructive, then again it was all simulated, they could be causing real damage to tho room. Grunting he headed toward the war room in no particular hurry. When he got there he headed into the control/observation room and watched the inhabitant of the room, or should he say inhabitants. Deciding that he should watch more he stayed put and watched the duplicates and orriginal, though he couldn't tell which was which, go through the program.
