Oh I was waiting on a specific someone to post. I think he posted recently so it isn't a problem, but being held back and the rp proceeding isn't necessarily fair, ya know?
I've said before and I'll say again, if it's between you posting and waiting for someone else, better to just get on with your own post instead. Write something that moves you past it instead. If someone drops out, for example, you don't want your character being left in limbo due to a conversation being left hanging, or you waiting for someone else. Same goes if they haven't posted. Best to just move on yourself - I've had to do it in other games.
I appreciate that you were trying to talk to Shadow (and yes, he did post eventually), but if he hadn't, I would have just expected you to move on without him anyway, since it's in your interest to do so anyway. If he hadn't been able to post, then he could have caught up later.
You shouldn't have to suffer because of other peoples' schedules or RL commitments getting in the way (in this case) or because of their lack of motivation in posting (in other cases).
I wouldn't have 'held you back', as such. I know you've been active, it would've been him that had taken the hit - but if you hadn't made the initiative to post, then you'd be the one holding your own character back.
