If anyone can export technology , my nation would surely buy all of that ,because modernization cost money e.e :D.

You had the same idea as me , my airships will be stronger than my navy , so maybe my nation and yours could have a cooperation program to develop airships . What do you think?


Yeah. It seems your nation is really starting to like the idea, so maybe Avalia could not only help in the industry department, in the military as well. Specifically in aiding in organization and combat doctrine. I like the idea. I'll start a PM soon so we don't flood the OOC much as we work out some more details and discuss ideas.

I noticed that none else is developing walkers , in my sheet it says that is a new invention , could be mine only or someone else wants to have walkers too , since this is a dieselpunk why not!!!

As far as military, my nation's main strength is that all of the cites are basically fortresses, plus I'm planning for their to be a network of tunnels through out the nation instead of road ways. In fact, a lot of Umbraisis will appear to be unoccupied because it'll all be underground except for the city forts. The Navy, Army, and airforce will all be decent, but it's obvious that I won't be trying to invade anything yet . . . unless the damn Navari pull a coup and charge straight into the Heavenly empire

My nation will have a strong airship program, since after all we don't have the technology for conventional planes, but we'll already have them and they will be primarily filled with helium, since we produce that ourselves. And Kataylabinsk will also be a producer of bulletproof plastic fibers (yay chemistry) that they will use for their airships to make them resistant to flak cannons and such.

My particular thoughts, however, are around our ground military. Instead of tanks, I was thinking war elephants, like those used in India, except these would be armored and mounted with some kind of small cannon that shoots thermite rounds to disable enemy tanks.

And I was also going to outfit troops with rocket-propelled grenades to deal with enemy armor, since again, we don't have them.

I prefer that the walkers are new to the world so if you could make early designs instead of advanced ones that would be incredible

Of course. There's only so much armor you can put on an elephant, so they would still be quite vulnerable to tank fire if they get hit first.

i imagine the weakness , they are slow and.........well can be easily bombed by airplanes, but the inestability can be fixed easily just putting more weight in the legs or making a spider walker , things like that , the walker is very flexive in terms of design

Well, in terms of electronics, Yllendthyr is kinda putting a focus on them. Precision and small scale stuff is kinda their specialty.
What I forgot to mention that Yllendthyr will be leading in battery and electric motor technology. Given elven physiology you can also bet their gyros are pretty advanced.
Radars will be commonplace as stationary installations but only my largest and more advanced vehicles would have them as part of their equipment.
As for subs, they exist but the elves didn't realize their true potential.
They are small, their torpedoes are limited and short ranged and generally these are better for scouting than sinking battleships.
In retrospect though Yllendthyr has all means to make a deadly submarine force later. It just won't happen for a while.

That's what I was thinking, assuming it's not -as Murtox said- a spider design.

If it is, forget fighting and just run from the giant metal spider-abominations.
