Technically no, since the party's already boarded a ship which has been adrift in space for years, but if you can come up with a good Character Sheet and a reasonable way for your character to get on-board then I'd be happy to have you along.

When thinking of the sort of person you'd like to play as please take into account that we already have two hacker/technicians, two doctors, one soldier and a thief on the team.

Well, two soldiers, but one of them's currently floating away from the ship after blowing himself out the airlock so I haven't counted him in the list. :)

Don't know if that would be feasible. The Lone Star is a ship the size of several large cruise ships put together, which is currently abandoned and inhabited by a weird...Something.

If you check out the Characters thread there's a list of current character locations, and I just added an exploration map to show the areas of the ship they've already explored. This isn't a fully comprehensive map as it only shows the locations which the characters have either actually been to or have been able to get a look at through viewports and will be expanded as they venture further into the ship.

The Lone Star's currently passing through an asteroid belt, but it would still be possible for another shuttle to rendezvous with it if they had an exceptional pilot in control.

The ship itself appears to have been abandoned for years with minimal life support and 'something' prowling the decks, the party were already attacked by one of these somethings, but it got blown apart with a plasma charge before they were able to get a good look at it. While it's highly unlikely that anyone could've survived in those conditions it isn't impossible, but you'd have to plan to be playing a character in a similar situation to 'Newt' in Aliens, Noland (Lawrence Fishburn's character) from Predators or Ben Gunn from Treasure Island, a lone survivor who's only managed to survive on their wits and salvaged supplies.

Some of the characters have been given secret information via PM which they may choose to use to help carry the story forwards, and I'm happy to discuss any secret ideas people would like to put forwards to help their own characters develop more. I may block things which contradict other character's agendas too much, but anything people want to add will be fairly considered.

Possibly, but if so he'd have been there for years without any air, food, water or medical supplies while being hunted by the thing on the ship. Highly unlikely unless he had some really good fluff explanation for how he'd managed to survive.

@SimplyJohn He could be one of the Lone Star's original crew. Kept in cryostasis and unaware of all his colleagues' fates. All he knows is that he was to be put into the long nap until the return leg of their journey was done. He gets pulled out of cryo by our party and has to get reacclimated to life and also has to solve the mystery of what the hell happened to his ship and the rest of his colleagues.

@DJAtomika@RPforthatPR That could certainly work, although I'd recommend he be a low-ranking member of the crew who knew nothing about what had happened on the ship, apart from all the weird system failures going on.

Feel free to let Hundred take charge, I think she and Simon have the most investment in seeing the rest of the ship than most of the others anyways. :)
