@Willy Vereb The Iron Ring is more than just a simple defensive perimeter around the core of Eisenkreis, however, in that it is in some places literally a ring of iron meant to keep the world out of Eisenkreis. Flakk batteries line battlements around the border to cover possible gaps, and highly accurate radar stations watch for anything and everything on approach. This is a nation steeped in deep paranoia regarding the rest of the world, and their religion only perpetuates this almost genetic trait. To them, you all seek to conquer them and destroy their heritage, and so that is why they simply cannot waver in their determination. Kzechverin on the other hand, well... Csilla loves visitors and has never been one to turn down a guest. Not to mention that their military only became armed with rifles in the last century, and was still using spear and plate.
And how a "ring of iron" is supposed to keep aircrafts away?
They can be paranoiac all they want. It doesn't change the fact that in WW2 there's no such thing as absolute AA defense.

Hey, does anyone want to secure trade with KalMea? We can make almost anything!

Holy crap that's amazing! Can Tin import some of your gravity? I know it's really high-tech but we're allies!

I mean, at the end of the day, a 75mm flak shell (or a dozen flak shells per aircraft kill) costs far less than a heavy bomber or a fighter plane. It's not a question of whether or not spamming planes into Eisenkreis airspace is a possibility, but whether or not such a tactical move is even worth it.

Magic doesn't count as AA defense in this RP, so the answer is likely no.
You seem to have plenty of explody developments and probably you use RDX for practically anything so that can kinda work.

RDX has the RE factor of 1.6 and weighs 1.1 times more.
So it effectively has 1.76 times more explosions packed into it than TNT.
That's over 20% bigger explosions!

XD I didn't mean I could make it, simply that we have no AA defense except nature! And, aye, nature is a cruel Mistress...

But, seriously, any traders out there? We have factories to compete with the best of them!

Yup, like I said whether or not AA defenses can shoot down ALL fighters is not the question.
They can take down a ton and that's enough of a deterrent.
I just critiqued the idea that no aircraft could pass their borders.

Anyways, moreso than the bomber (which may be brough down with hundreds or likely even thousands of shots so cost is questionable), it's the life of the human pilots which is the greatest loss in such exchanges.
Granted AA defenses are far from in complete safety but the said bomber is right in the open skies. Its only defense is pretty much that human crews can't aim that well.

Didn't we say that Tin purchases a lot of its tanks, cars, etc. from KalMea? That's big money right there. Maybe other nations will buy military vehicles from you, and if not, you could just have the headquarters of Osetia's equivalent to Bentley, Mercedes-Benz, and Lamborghini. Make lots of fancy cars for individual cotizens to buy rather than governments. I bet the douchebag elves would appreciate having Lamborghinis.

That sounds like something you would hear on an infomercial.

But, yeah, my main defense is to blow up anything that moves, and then ask the survivors if they'd like to buy some high-quality weapons and metals from me

I doubt car development would be on that level but yeah, elven nobles would love to own luxurious racing cars.

The mid 1940's is well past when the Model-T was invented, so cars would be rather common in many of the more modern countries. Perhaps the available cars wouldn't be super luxurious, but then again it can be even more profitable to follow the Kia model and sell tons of cars for cheap as compared to just selling a few super expensive cars like Lamborghini does.

*whispers into Willy's ear*
You hear that, Willy? That sand-loving weirdo called your elves douchebags.

You should go to war with him. That'll teach him.

And, if you find yourself short on Tin-destroying weapons I can always provide some more at low, low prices. More death at a price you can afford!

---

*whispers into Cyclone's ear*

Ugh, those elves, right?
I bet you could wipe 'em out if you want to. No more pointy-eared jerks mistreating all the humans in their lands.
Ya..that sounds better. This world doesn't need them. Just good 'ole humans and Kaliabs, like the old days.

I know! You could attack them, lead the revolution! Me and the others would join in later. You can start off the fight, and when they think they've gotten you under control like those humans in their nation, I'll jump in!

In the meantime, I can provide you some weapons...under the table, you know? And, hey, just 'cause we're allies I'll give them to you at a discount!

---

*Set's up weapons store between Tin and Yllendthyr*

That's exactly what I meant.
Cars exist but there isn't anything particularly like a luxury class.
Elves, the ones who rule the nation, also can't stand the smell of gasoline, petrol-derived diesel and such so they wish to keep them away the best they could.
Yeah, along with their mithril-based industry they are actually quite odd compared to the rest of the world but that's what happens when we talk about a country ruled by a whole different species.

Anyways, something like a specifically built diesel motor driven luxurious racing car could be in the elves' angle.
They will buy it for its speed on the road but keep it for the prestige and comfort.

Anyway, point is that I'm always looking for more money- despite probably being rather wealthy already- and I have plenty of excess products.

But, yeah, a lot of my money probably comes from selling to corporations and manufacturers in general.

I realized that the second version of KalMea was actually closer to the correct size, I just made Ventium and Avalia too big so that Tin looked smaller in comparison. So those countries have been pushed up a few pixels, and your border reformed to its correct shape on the original map.

The end result being that Tin now looks significantly larger than any of its northern neighbors, and KalMea looks closer to the size of Dong Wei.

@Hael

>Looking through the changes in Hael's sheet
>Notices the word 'Kallabis'
>Realizes that I've been spelling it as 'Kaliabis' or something
>No wonder I kept thinking that 'Kaliabis' was impossible to say
>Feels kind of stupid and embarassed for not noticing this before
>Remembers how Hael keeps calling my people Tin men
>Shrugs
>Buries my guilt, hides the shovel, and drives off into the sunset

On a serious note though, I'll edit my sheet to spell it right XD

Well, you didn't look through it hard enough, Tin man

I mentioned that both Kaliabis and KalIabis were proper names for my race. Kaliabis is a more casual name, whereas KalIabis is formal. I've been switching back and forth at random, because I'm too lazy and spastic to stick to one

EDIT: Made a mistake where I said that Kaliabis was proper and KalIabis was formal. Corrected
