Because you guys started with more weapon mastery than I thought, maybe I should post-productly boost Morag's skill to C... XD

In any case. I posted something. And I made an effort to place everyone in actual squares. If there's any inconsistencies you'd like changed, inform me. I also made sure to post two versions of the map, just because.

... So, we have a bunch of player characters without players running around now. Any opinion on what I should do with them? I could pick them up and play them as NPCs if I want to as I describe in the opening post, but while I do have possible plans for them I have no issues just dropping them off into nowhere first possible explanation if nobody is feeling any love for them. Do you guys have any opinions that turn out to be popular? Do they differ between the different characters? I'd like to hear. Haha.

I wouldn't mind recruiting them in the sense that we pick a few of them each and control them as npcs, though I'm not confident in how pervy I could be when it comes to our thief.

@71342 What in the name of what made you think I'd consider playing a lot of characters to be a hassle? XD

What IS a hassle is when characters usually controlled by other people needs to be controlled by me and I am unsure if I am controlling them correctly or if I am doing something I am not supposed to do with a character that some player out there in some way considers their own. Hence, it is much easier that I am simply in control of all NPCs that someone else isn't already controlling because the player made the characters, like Darius and Aiph. And that's about that.

Perhaps it could be in like one of the FE games where we need a distraction to allow us to escape against overwhelming forces so we need to leave some behind. That or we could get split up in some way which leaves them as not dead but not activly in the story unless we need/want them to be.

@Harbringer ... Oh, wow. Looks like we've established a connection with the first boss. Teh-heh. I approve. Not sure how you got there before the riding guys, but teh-heh. That's not as important in the face of creating dramatic scenarios! XD
Should I have him reply now as just a character post or just along with the next GM post? Oh, decisions, decisions. Haha.

He might like melee more than is healthy for a Mage.

I play in a more realistic group, If a someone tried something so decidedly malicious like that ...I'm quite certain he or she will get a Holy sword to the face courtesy of said paladin - even If they are someone's pc. Me being a dm allows it.

Though I have yet to act on this rule, it helps that most of my players are actual, capable roleplayers and not a bunch of impotent, cruel oversized-children as sadly is the case of many dnd players.

Hmm, maybe I should introduce japan to table type Roleplaying.

Oh no, our fighter beat the shit out of the mage afterwards and I (mercy) had to break up the fight by slamming him overhead with my greatshield. That mercy characters dead now (An unfortunate encounter with a green dragon) so now I'm using a dwarven gun rogue. Need a lock open? BLAM. Need someone dead stealthily? BLAM. Need that trap disarmed? BLAM BLAM.

EDIT: I'd be interested to see how that goes/participate. I may not be able to read kanji very well, mistaking it for chinese a lot, but at least I can speak to an intermediate level. Also i want another group.

I'd totally invite you and everyone here If I could, but we're doing it at my house. Weekends are do-anything days so I've decided to run a game with a few IRL friends. We're all more or less english speakers (they take english classes), I tried looking foR a japanese dnd set but it'd be a nightmare for me to read. @Harbringer

But at least this way there's alot to write, unlike me writing Ret who is supposed to be relatively ignorant about politics. That's why my posts are getting short lately. Though I don't really mind the kind of meta you refer to, it's kind of expected of your character as he lives in or works in a castle. Just wait till a conversation about Magical formulas pops up, our post lengths will be reversed and you will see Ret in new light. Lol. @Penultimate_Pi

@Penultimate_Pi Being updated on knowledge is fine. In fact, I greatly encourage discussion or thinking about what should be done next, because I am looking forward to customizing the adventure depending on what you guys decide to do, so this post in fact makes me smile a lot. Thanks for that. Now to get out of here so we can start openly discussing actions. ... Heh. *reads up on information about Frelia* Did I imply that things THAT bad in Frelia? I mean, yeah, there's a rift, but "nearly in civil war"? ... Oh, well! XD
