Well, the baby can appear in a post whenever he pleases. He's been included in the cast list.
I believe Macabre and DM are nearing the end of their collab, and Beowulf and I are working on one of our own. I still have yet to hear back from one of our absentee cast mates. I'll be forced to remove him from the story next week if I don't see anything by then.

Aye aye captain! Making edits and it'll be up with your approval. Any word from Fairess?
@The New Yorker Is there any word back from Danko? Also is the BrassOtter still going to join the RP?

Yorker only throws out half the story. In truth, I wanted to stick around and enjoy things with everyone. Yeah, we were having an argument, but of course I thought it to be a civil one that should've been dealt with. Instead, Yorker just left mid conversation. The argument was about having me wait for a little while instead of just putting out a wasteful post that contributed nothing to the plot or current going ons.
York, I'm not clinging to anything, nor am I making you out to be the bad guy. I want to stick along because its a good story and I want to develop my own character with everyone elses. You haven't had to drag me anywhere, but its pretty obvious now that I'm not wanted. Here's the chatlogs if anyone wishes to throw out their own opinion.TNY: the whole thing is that we won't be beating the Harbinger. He's going to be taken care of in my next post and we're moving on with the story
0:40 TNY: you may be putting too much importance on this fight
0:40 Beo: I thought it was supposed to be important
0:44 Beo: If its as you make it, it might be best for me to hold off on posting if I'm not going to contribute to anything
0:45 TNY: its an important moment. But not so important that you need to feel pressured into dramatizing it.
0:45 TNY: You should just go with what feels right and is logically consistent with the rest of the posts
0:46 TNY: I like the first part of what you have, I just think you should rethink what Wes' intentions are once he gets below deck
0:47 TNY: because, honestly, it reads like Wes is some kind of ghost drifting throughout the scene
0:48 Beo: that's what I feel like, I suppose
0:49 Beo: There really isn't much point to Wes
0:50 Beo: and I don't see what task Leonard can give him
0:51 Beo: if the end is going to be the next post, then it might just be best to hold off and wait to further play Wes then
0:52 TNY: So you feel no interest what so ever in seeing the world through Wes' eyes? In describing his feelings and emotions as he witnesses these things?
0:52 TNY: I could think of three things Leonard could ask Wes to do.
0:53 TNY: So what, you just want to wait another week or so for the next round?
0:54 Beo: I suppose
Beo: Its not like I'm waiting persay, I've got plenty to do
0:54 Beo: and as of now, Wes just hasn't had any real introduction, so its difficult to write for him
0:55 TNY: I'm sorry, I can't allow that. You've become a spectator Beo.
0:55 TNY: its important that you remain engaged, just as everyone else has
0:56 Beo: Is there anything wrong with being a spectator?
0:56 Beo: I mean, I enjoy the story so far
0:57 Beo: but there hasn't really been any chance thus far to toss wes into the story
0:58 Beo: so its in my opinion to wait for a chance
0:58 TNY: being a spectator is fine, but I have a big problem with having them halfly in the gamr
0:58 Beo: which will likely be soon, because Eru contacted me about having Wes become a bodyguard of sorts
0:58 TNY: You cannot have one foot out the door, that doesn't instill\ confidence
0:59 TNY: I made that clear to someone who i really trusted on the site one of the former castmates
1:00 TNY: he was having the same issue as you and I insisted he made a choice, he made one. Even though you've written the words I still dont think you've made a choice
1:01 TNY: why don't you just cut out the last part, the parts that don't make sense, and post what you have?
1:02 Beo: But it'd just be a waste of a post with nothing done
1:02 TNY: I just need to see some degree of investment.
TNY: its not a waste of a post if you're conveying the emotions and thoughts of the character
1:03 TNY: You could have a post where the character literally just sits for half an hour, as long as it was honest and true it wouldn't be a waste
1:03 TNY: actions, to me, are incidental to the intentions of the character
1:04 Beo: Shrug, I disagree
1:05 TNY: It's fine that you disagree, but that doesn't change the reality of the situation.
1:05 Beo: If you put a section in a book where a character literally sat for half an hour staring at a wall it couldn't fly
1:05 Beo: sure, there's way to convey emotion and thoughts of characters
1:05 Beo: but if it lacks a point, its just fluff
1:05 TNY: That's true, but actions aren't a point
1:05 TNY: actions are just that
1:06 TNY: actions have no meaning without the thought behind them
1:06 TNY: and that's whats important
1:06 Beo: the same can be said for the thoughts
1:07 Beo: you need both together to have a meaningfull post
1:07 TNY: I'm not going to argue the finer points of literature and story building here, you either post or you dont. You either stay or you don't
1:08 Beo: I'm not going to post a meaningless post
1:09 Beo: and if you're gonna kick me out for that, go ahead
1:09 TNY: you think that what you've written here is meaningless? Actually?
1:09 Beo: Its meaningless without something to further the plot
1:09 Beo: if I posted this, it wouldn't do anything for anyone, except let people know 'hey wes is down there drinking'
Beo: and then the next post would go on ahead regardless of what I did, with the harbinger being defeated like you said
1:11 TNY: and how is that different than Macabre's post? "hey Artemisia is up there throwing rocks"
1:11 TNY: whether Wes threw the lance overboard or not the Harbinger would be defeated, that's called a plot point
1:11 Beo: From what I read, she was distracting the Harbinger and giving room for a collab post to be started
1:12 Beo: getting his attention for their attack
1:12 TNY: maybe Wes should do that then
1:12 Beo: shrug
1:13 TNY: good riddance, Beo. Your apathy will not be missed
1:14 Beo: My apathy is as a result of not getting attached yet
1:14 Beo: sigh
1:14 Beo: whelp
1:14 Beo: if you're just gonna leave like that, what's the point?
1:15 Beo: the same could be said for The Division, you showed apathy there as well
1:15 Beo: at least here I'm trying to stay aboard, and wanting to get attached
1:40 TNY: At least I was honest and responisble with my apathy. Once I realized what was happening I came right out and said that I was no longer attached to the story. It became something I didn't like
1:41 TNY: You cling on out of embarrassment or laziness and then make me out to be the bad guy. I'm afraid I simply can't abide by that.
1:42 TNY: I had to drag you to this point only to discover you would have been happy where you laid.
@The New Yorker That's a shame. I was hoping they would stay around. Though I guess it can't be helped. I very much look forward to the next post from you and FBK :) .
Does this mean the cast list is now full?
Other than that, I'm excited as well to see this next round of posting go up. I don't think I've got anything for Artemisia just yet, so I'll wait.
