May I create a character sheet for Euritia, or has it already been claimed?

Liar has staked interest, though you beat him by two hours I'm going to give them the reserve since they posted early on in the interest check.

So, what's the deal with Erayis, now? I saw DeadBeatWalking had a place as the ruling House of Erayis, is that still the case? I'm alright if it is, might drum up a mercenary company or a minor house, maybe, I dunno.

Yeah, the bloody goat-loving fool sniped it from under you. Apologies, I do quite want you on board though, as I remember you've been a semi-interested party since I rebooted it the first time. You were playing a slavic sailor-mercenary at the time, I remember.

*shakes fist* Why I oughta! Anyways, I'll get to work on...something...once I figure out what I want to do. I kind of want to be a minor house, but I also kind of want to be a mercenary captain. What to do?

Pretty sure Terijas doesn't have a player yet... However if you do want to play as a minor house, I intend on starting off Skavia in a state of civil war. Could be a chance for you to rise in power in Skavia...

Northman civil war? Well, this changes everything. Might play a minor house or a fifth son and his host trying to take over his family's House, otherwise, he'd have no hope of inheritance.

I'd be interested in playing as a Minor House, either in Skavia or Perhyr. I'm liking what I've seen of the North so far. Plus I'm a diehard North fan in ASOIAF. However, Leidenshaft, if you want a Skavian house, I'll go somewhere else. I'm not sure how many people should be in just one nation.

Sweet, I added some stuff to my Skavian sheet just now. Basically Crach Hafrek is going to be an old asshole who had to wait way to long for his dad to die. His half brother Loki is much more nice and a lot of people love him, but he is still young and a bastard!

*Edit
and my work continues. Should be almost done now. Might take a day or two more. New info is added though.

Plenty of Perhyr dukes (or barons) to play...

Sweet, the only two duchies you cannot have are Therifel Island (Which is the Royal family's) and Grense (Which is House Biarni and Loki's base of operations for the civil war.)

What you have designated as the Duchy of “Innsjo” also has some principal lore and importance, too, considering it was the first capital of Skavia, which only changed a few centuries prior when the former dynasty located there were executed by the zealous high king of Orlandis, Kristof. Assuming the ancient Skavian castle and such is still there it could make for a terrible enemy or a powerful ally for whomever holds it.

NOTE: Will try to get my Balkr and Valian sheets done before Sunday, but I also thought I'd have a Supergirl post up by last Sunday in MC; so we'll see.

Okay cool, I'll have it be mostly destroyed though. It is now the site of the Skavian last stand during the crusades!

*edit
Whoever is doing Stormtir, would it be cool to have a history of warfare between our two nations for the last thirty years or so? A sort of prideful series of wars between the Skavian and Stormbroken people over who truly has the most powerful navy in Orlandis which finally ended in a stalemate and white peace.

I'm debating on whether or not to sign on as either Skavia or Pehyr. I like both, especially with the whole civil war thing going on, but I don't want to load up the vassals just on Skavia.

King Crach welcomes your money and women... I mean noble house into our great brothel... dammit, nation!

Haha anyway, I'd be happy to have another vassal player. You'd have to make sure it was okay with @Gowi though seeing as I have someone else already writing up a vassal sheet. If it were up to me I'd say go for it. I do think that some other nations seem interesting to be vassals under such as @babbysama's Voltaani and @RyanTadashi's Gradiar.

Oh and Terijas doesn't have a player yet and it is apparently THE historically important nation in Orlandis. It is also ruled by another branch of the Thralon family which rules Euritia, which you expressed interest in I believe...

Pretty much done with my sheet now... Hafrek Sheet

If I were you, I'd go somewhere else to balance out things so people have things to interact with.

Yes. Characters tab is for approved, though, sometimes people jump the gun a bit.

There is this write-up, but generally nothing I recall that sticks out.

Euritia

Lands
The peninsula of The Arm is not as rocky or rough as the western fringes of The Highlands; though it has strong riverbeds and flowing hills alongside slight existences of steel mountain ranges and waterside cliffs. The minerals are rich in these selective mountain ranges with mythrite, iron, tin, gold, silver, and copper; but the true abundance of the lands is likely the rolling hills that are perfect for agricultural development, plentiful fish and fauna, vast arrays of northern herbs, the forests ample for timberhouses, and the tactical basis of the landmass.

People
A true synthesis of two cultures—the people of what is known as The Arm are the cultural amalgamation of the people from the Midlands who occupied the land under imperial decree, and the native people of the Highlands who were initially abrasive of said occupation. However, unlike the western Highlands the locals took well to their foreign lords, perhaps due to the kindheartedness of the descendants of Torvic Thralon or other cultural factors; whatever the case may be the people of Euritian recognize both cultural roots as many can trace their lineage back to both the Midlands immigrants and the natives of the Highlands.

Military
Much like Terijas, Euritia is skilled in the art of war ranging from siege, archery, infantry, and cavalry—however northern horses are fewer in number than those in their ancestral lands, so the nobles of Euritia are stuck with a dilemma: import them, or adapt to a new sense of fighting. The latter was the choice one of the older Kings of Euritia decided upon as he switched from offensive cavalry to defensive troops in general to protect the peninsula of the Highlands they occupied—The Arm. Favoring strong walls and ranged units such as the Euritian crossbowman (a recent development), they have kept any more Highlander aggression invade the peninsula granted by Dierk ‘the Conqueror’ that had since become their livelihood.
