Jubileus is the creator of the universe and the powerful deity that gave the Alphas their powers. There is no beginning of his being, as he was always a constant presence that eventually manifested into a physical form. Using his powers, he created the universe and everything inside it. He sees all and knows all and when he saw that the planet Jubilea, named after himself, was dying, he decided to intervene. But rather than save the entire race, he chose only the strongest members of the population to live on and individually gave them new powers, creating entirely new species in the process. He sent the Alphas to the planet Earth, which was already home of the humans, for them to gain their own following. In the meantime, he created new planets for the Alphas to live on and claim as their own, but they were only given to the Fairy, Wizard, Demon, Dragon and Angel Alphas. The Vampire and Werewolf Alphas were to remain on Earth since the vampires needed human blood to survive, and Werewolves needed humans in order to change them to werewolves. Additionally, the Alpha hunter was left on Earth too, as it was impossible to change others into his species and was destined to be the last Jubilean ever.
After it was all settled, Jubileus left them to sort out their own problems and disappeared. He didn't reappear when the Alpha hunter began sealing the Alphas away, or when the demons took over Atlantis. He remains unseen to this day and will most likely continue to do so until another global wide disaster.
She is the immortal alpha fairy and creator of all fairies. In the past she transformed willing humans who were in tune with nature into fairies using a spell that consisted of her magic and a piece of her wing to create fairy dust. The human who consumed her fairy dust was given a longer lifespan, magic, wings, and the power to shapeshift into a smaller size called their pixie form. The color and shape of their wings depended on the piece of Shea’s wing that was grounded into the fairy dust, but their descendants simply inherited a mixture of their parents’ wings. Their wings are a large source of their power and capable of making spells stronger, so all types of creatures began hunting fairies for their wings.
Shea ceased creating any more fairies because of this and claimed a faraway planet to create a safe new home for her fairies. Using a spell she transported them to the new planet, named Fae, and allowed them to thrive without fear of their lives. It was lush with fauna and hidden by Shea’s power from dangerous enemies, like humans. But instead of staying there with them she allowed them to create their own government and live by themselves, merely checking in every few years. Years later they began calling themselves fae instead of fairies, mostly out of the desire to forget of their time on earth. Shea herself remained on earth to protect the fairies who wished to stay. She created Fairy Island, a large island hidden behind her barrier that only fairies could cross. Instead of hiding in isolation with them, however, Shea decided to travel the world since she could blend in with humans.
Shea tends to live in urban areas without much surrounding nature. As a fairy she loves plants and draws her power from nature, but she feels sorry for people who live in areas without much fauna, so she ventures into crowded cities and gives out free flowers to people. All fairies are capable of helping plants grow, but Shea’s powerful magic can make them bloom instantly and there are several magical plants that only Shea can create. She also possesses massive colorful wings that extend from her back that would cover much of the sky if unleashed, but she hides them using her magic.
Shea has had many children and descendants over the centuries, but most of them moved to Fae long ago. Since there are few fairies remaining on earth, most of her more recent children are halflings rather than pureblooded fairies. For her half human children, if they wish so, Shea gives them just enough fairy dust to become full fairies.
Wizards on Wiz worship Oz as their god, but in actuality he had humble beginnings as an ordinary mortal. He is originally from another world where humanoid people who possessed special powers lived. The planet was dying, however, so a deity name Jubileus gave the strongest people the ability to survive and escape to a new world. Oz was one of the strongest of his kind and one of those chosen to receive a new power from Jubileus. They all received immortality but their other new powers all manifested differently and they all became the first of a new, different species; Oz became the alpha wizard. His body became completely made of magic so he no longer bleeds blood and he can shapeshift into any appearance of his choice. Unfortunately, not all of his friends were strong enough to handle the power of Jubileus. Refusing to abandon them to die on their doomed planet, Oz decided to turn them into immortal wizards like him so they could escape with them. When they arrived on earth, they became that world's first supernatural beings.
Like how he turned his friends into wizards, each alpha had the ability to turn humans into their species. After he adjusted to his new home Oz started giving humans magic, although because they were mostly strangers he did not know he could trust, he kept them mortal and a granted them significantly less magic than his friends from his homeworld.
Oz personally liked to be in charge and responsible of wizards; he views them as “his”, and loves them all dearly no matter what, though he does play favorites. He acted as their leader ever since the beginning and had a tendency to act controlling over the use of magic, and would personally eliminate wizards who were too harmful and dangerous with spells or corrupted with dark magic beyond hope of saving. But despite his strictness, he felt fiercely protective of wizards and started holding grudges against those who harmed wizards. Eventually he got tired of sharing earth with so many other species, especially those who envied or wanted the wizards’ magic for themselves, and started looking for a different planet to live on. He made a new home for wizards, an unnamed planet that held a large continent that could house all wizards in one city they later named Atlantis. He was the leader of the city and provided guidelines and teachings for wizards to follow. As time passed and tales of his power, him being the source of their magic, and his immortality, were told to the next generations so wizards began to view Oz as some sort of god. He never disputed that belief and let wizards assume what they wanted about him, actually feeling quite thrilled as being seen as a powerful god of magic.
When Faizera fell into despair and fled to earth after hurting Oz over and over again until he agreed to remove her immortality, the alpha wizard followed her and begged her to return to Atlantis with him. But she refused and Oz felt betrayed so he cursed her with infertility. He gave her an excuse that he did not want her to pass on her powerful magic to anyone born on earth, especially since 'witches' were hunted and often killed, but he really just felt angry and refused to even think about the possibility of her starting another family without him. He felt guilty a few days later and returned to earth to fix what he had done, but then he realized she purposely lost all of her memories. Heartbroken and in denial, he was tempted to restore her memories and take away the magic of whoever erased them, but had enough self control to stop himself from irrationally hating the wizard who helped her forget him. His feelings turned into resentment and he was petty enough to change his mind about removing the infertility curse. Oz felt disgusted with her for throwing away everything they had together, for hurting him, for choosing to forget their family and abandoning them, and for running away from him without giving him a chance to help her get through her depression. He watched her from a distance at first to make sure she was safe living alone on earth, and he had a small hope that he could rekindle their relationship. But his feelings turned bitter and his resentment transformed into outright hate. Oz checked up on her less and less until he stopped bothering to leave Atlantis, and just hearing her name would make him irritable for hours. He held the grudge against her for years until he felt the magic he had given to her all those years ago return to him. His entire body stilled and felt cold when he realized Faizera was probably dead. In the end it was Anghelios who retrieved Faizera's corpse from earth and Oz, lamenting that even with all of his magic he could not revive someone from the dead without turning them into some sort of monster, grieved as he buried her on Atlantis and loathed himself for letting this happen.
Not too long after her death, another tragedy struck Oz. His immortal wizard friends were disappearing one by one, causing him great distress and after losing Faizera there was no way he would allow them to be lost too. The alpha hunter lured him away from Atlantis and back to earth using his friends as bait. But Oz was too late to help them, they were sealed away into pocket dimensions inside moons, and he had fallen into a fatal trap. The alpha hunter sealed Oz into the star named Zoroastar, where he was isolated from other beings and his friends were the unwillingly seals that trapped him inside the star and bound his most of his magic.
After realizing he did not have a way to escape his prison or rescue his friends, Oz resigned himself to finding ways to pass time in his lonely prison. He started using his imagination to magically conjure up activities to occupy him and fake people to speak to just to keep himself sane, and he worried for his wizards and his sealed friends. But he eventually realized he still had a connection to Atlantis through his descendants, whom he could speak with telepathically or even possess if he tried hard enough. He focused on one descendant to connect with at a time because it consumed too much of his limited magic to change at a whim, which eventually caused the wizards on Atlantis to think the one he chose was some sort prophet from their god. Oz could speak to them and at first possessed the prophet all the time, until he realized the more he did that the longer he would have to sleep and recharge his magic. He decided to stop speaking directly too often and limited his contact, realizing he could only interfere with wizards if it was necessary. After that epiphany, there were only two times he directly involved himself with wizards: when he managed to use his power to shield wizards until his familiar Demostenes could transport a few hundred wizards away from Atlantis when the city was attacked by demons, which drained his power to the point he was left comatose for a few centuries; and years later when he woke up and convinced his prophet to save the enslaved wizards. After wizards gained their freedom and started living on Wiz, Fai built a church for Oz where wizards could pray to him. Oz felt happy over people's faith in him and that he was not forgotten and would not be left alone for eternity in a star.
Deciding to be take on a more supportive role and ensure wizards do not have to suffer such a tragedy again, Oz redirected his attention to an area of his magic that he neglected almost completely: divination. In the past he hated the idea of interfering with and manipulating time so he erected a barrier around the planet to stop any wizard from abusing their magic to change history, but this barrier did not remove his power to see different timelines of Wiz. Oz passed on warnings of the future to his prophet if the information was vital in some way. However, time apparently has ways of ensuring certain events happen, and even Oz has trouble manipulating the future because if he successfully prevents one event either it happens in a different way with different people or a worse scenario occurs.
When not gazing into the future Oz focuses on connecting to the hearts of wizards to hear their prayers, even if he does not always have enough spare power to help them from his prison. When he does Oz can create "miracles", and the closer the wizard is in proximity to the prophet, the easier it is for Oz to send a small portion of his magic to aid in answering a prayer. His main goal is to continue blessing newborn wizards with magic, and as long as at least one descendant is still alive, he can still grant magic.
Demostenes is a large owl like creature that served as Oz's familiar ever since he became the Alpha wizard. He was created by the Almighty Jubileus and was given to Oz to guide him on how to use his magic. He and Oz shared the same magical power that enabled them to speak telepathically. Demostenes is also capable of normal speech, but he mostly spoke to Oz, as well as the other Betas. Along with great magical power, he was blessed with enhanced intelligence that allowed him to become an advisor to Oz and encouraged him to find Atlantis when Earth became too crowded. He was loyal to Oz all the way up until the attack of the Alpha hunter when he fell victim to one of his traps and was sealed away on Atlantis. Without Demostenes' additional power, Oz was sealed away on Zoroastar by the Alpha hunter where he remains until this day. Demostenes, on the other hand, was freed from his prison by the other Alphas after the defeat of the Alpha hunter. Oz and his Betas' seals were too strong, even for them to break, but they needed someone to rule the wizards, which is why they broke Demostenes out of his considerably weaker prison.
However, Demostenes was not designed to rule independently and was an ineffective leader. He passed leadership to Oz's descendants, deeming them worthy, and retired to the libraries of Atlantis, dedicated to protecting their records and culture. But his role was short lived when the demons attacked Atlantis and without it's Alpha and Betas protecting it, it fell. Luckily, Demostenes still had enough power to transport most of the population off of Atlantis and take them to another world with hopes that they could rebuild. He also managed to bring along some scrolls from Atlantis' libraries and gave them to the Scholars too be looked after. They had taken residence in the mountains overlooking the town and that was where Demostenes decided to stay aswell, once again the protector of the scrolls. But as the years passed the sanity of the Scholars began to deteriorate and Demostenes no longer wished to be with them. In his eyes, the wizards were like lost sheep without their Alpha and he had no desire to stick around. Without a word, Demostenes flew out of the mountains and into the sky and would never return.
But of course, he was not gone. In fact, he was unable to leave the wizards completely, as it was his duty to guide them, even if Oz was gone, and he left a part of his soul with them. A child was left behind in the caves that would later be named after him and would bear 1/6th of his soul. For every 300 years that would pass, he would be reincarnated into a new body with even more of Demostenes' soul until all 6 regenerations were complete and Demostenes the Owl would return to help guide the wizards into new peace.
The first wizard of the Ang-Apollos family and a former Jubilean. She would have died with the rest of her race if Oz did not disregard Jubileus and transform her into a wizard so she could escape to earth. Anghelios was blessed with powerful magic and immortality, but is currently sealed away in one of Wiz' moons. She has been in a stasis almost the entire time after Oz used his limited power and their faint connection to send tendrils of magic that forced the betas into hibernation, so they would not physically waste away and suffer in solitude like him.
In the past, Anghelios was a name that brought fear to others because she would strike down wizards that misused their magic - on Oz' orders- or she would fight against enemies that threatened Atlantis. She cared about the other former Jubileans, but was not too fond of anyone else, especially those who were not wizards. She had a cold personality and showed little affection to others, even her own family, but was extremely protective of them and acted as a sort of silent, secret guardian for those she cared for.
Originally born on Jubilea, Faizera was the first being turned into a wizard by the alpha, Oz. She was Oz' lover and the only person he ever had children with, making her descendants (who now have the Bel-Black name) the wizards with the greatest magical potential. When she began to outlive all of her mortal children and friends, she fell into despair and not even Oz or her friends could pull her out of it. She began to curse her eternal life and eventually resented Oz for making her immortal, so she did everything she could to persuade Oz to remove her immortality. After a lot of threatening and blackmail on her part, Oz reluctantly agreed to take away her immorality and she went into self exile by fleeing from Atlantis to Earth. She could not have children any longer because, out of spite, Oz cursed her to infertility because he didn't want her to start a family with another man besides him and was still angry at her. But she did not go back to Atlantis because she had the wizards on earth, or 'witches', erase her memory so she could have a fresh start. Faizera lasted ten years on earth living a new happy life before she died a natural death, her body catching up to the fact she had been alive for longer than she should have been.
But Oz had watched out for Faizera the entire time and when he saw that she was dead, he took her body back to Atlantis and made her a beautiful grave in a garden full of flowers. The wizards called it the Rainbow Garden because of all the different colored flowers and her tombstone was covered with white flowers that glowed like stars at night. When Oz was sealed away, the wizards left behind tried their best to keep the garden beautiful for when he returned but as generations passed and he never came back, they eventually forgot the garden's original purpose. Wizards thought it was just a sacred garden grown by Oz, who they began to believe was their god, and that praying at the 'stone alter' would give them guidance and blessings from him. Unfortunately, when Atlantis fell to the demons the garden and grave was destroyed along with the city and her name, as well as Valeria, Pemdas, and Anghelios were all forgotten by future generations.
During the early years after El came to Earth, there was order. He changed only a few people he had grown to trust into vampires, and they all stayed in the same location, so it was easy to watch over everyone. El was very careful about who he changed into a vampire, and who those vampires changed into vampires, because he knew that if he wasn't careful, it would spread like a disease and infect the whole Earth. Human blood was vital for the survival of vampires, so they had to equally co-exist with one another so that their existence would continue on. He even killed some of the weaker ones to avoid over population, but with every five that he killed, ten more would pop up. It soon seemed like his worst fears were about to come true, so he took some drastic measures to ensure that that would never happen. Over the course of four years, El killed every single vampire he had ever created and started anew. He changed his current lover, Helvetica, into a vampire and decided to keep his population small with only his direct decsendants. His two children were born, Rhys and Rhhea, and they were the first true Purebloods ever, as El had never had a biological child of his own. For years the four of them remained the only vampires on Earth and travelled from country to country, ensuring that they never stayed in one place too long incase they decreased the population. And in a surprising turn of events, it actually looked like the human population was increasing for once. No without the fear of killing them all, El began to make his own vampires again, and allowed his children to do the same.
Over the years, El changed many humans into vampires, and had many more biological children. He encouraged them to spread across the world so that they weren't all concentrated in the same place, but each one of his children and lovers knew his rules, not to kill too much, make too much, and to always pass down their knowledge to other vampires, so that new vampires wouldn't go overboard. And for years it worked. Though spread across the world, El was able to keep track of his children, both biological and made, and was able to know how many vampires they made in return. In the years that had passed his powers as an Alpha finally matured and he was able to speak to his children through their blood connection, and even see through their eyes without them ever knowing. Like that, El was able to maintain control on his species.
But all of that changed with the Alpha Hunter attacked.
The Alpha Hunter was the only remaining Jubilean as the rest of the surviors had all been turned into different species. But this in no way meant the the Hunter was the weakest of the pack. Since some of the species Jubileaus created where immortal, the Alpha Hunter had the ability to permanetly kill any species, even if they could not die by other causes. Jubelus intended for the Alpha Hunter to use his power wisely and stop the other species from multipying too much, but something had gone terribly wrong. Bored with killing other species, the Alpha Hunter decided to go for the Alpha's instead. But Jubileaus had forseen this and didn't give him enough power to kill an Alpha, but he did possess the powers to seal them away forever, just incase another Alpha got out of control. At first El didn't realize what was happening to the other Alphas until it was too late, and Oz and his betas were sealed away in pocket dimentions. El banded together with the rest of the Alphas to fight the Alpha Hunter, and the battle was brutal and bloody. Many of the Alpha's used their own creations to try to stop the Alpha Hunter, but that just caused more casulties. Finally, after much effort, El managed to subdue the Alpha Hunter and send him to his own pocket dimension, but at a terrible price. Some of the Alphas were put into a deep sleep, a tragic side effect from one of the Alpha Hunter's spells, and El was an unfortunate victim of this. He slept for more than XXX years, and when he finally awoke again, he found that the world had become drastically different from when he had left it. The humans and their idologies had changed, but the most troubling was the increased vampire population. Once again it seemed like there were too many vampires to be considered "safe", and rather than wipe them all out, El made the executive decision to kill some of them out, leaving mostly his own children left, and their favorite vampires.
It took ony a few years for El to become adjusted to the new world, but in his absence, his role as the leader had been replaced. El's firstborn son, Rhys, had taken over the role as "Alpha", but he was not like El and had become blind to the true objective. Rhys wanted the world to be ruled by vampires, but El knew that that could never happen, and instantly demoted him. But he himself had no interest in becoming Alpha again, so he appointed his second child, Rhhea, as the new Alpha and took to the side lines. Without having to worry about the vampires anymore, El travelled the world and learned everything he had missed out on.
